Via MailOnline : Terrence Howard and his wife Miranda welcomed a son into the world four weeks ago. And on Friday the 46-year-old actor showed off a first photo of the little boy on Twitter. The Empire star’s caption read, ‘A mythical ½ dragon ½ lion who glides above the land so as not to harm even a blade of grass… meet Qirin Love!’ Howard told Access Hollywood last week they named the child Qirin after the mythic Chinese creature, the qilin, which is believed to come before a time of prosperity. ‘He’s beautiful and strong and a whirlwind and my wife is so happy,’ the actor said while promoting his hit Fox music drama at the Monte Carlo TV Festival in Monaco. Even though Howard is on a massive hit show, that has not kept him from waking up in the middle of the night to take care of his new bundle of joy. ‘She has to be up with him all throughout the day. The Charlotte residents posted side-by-side snapshots of their respective baby bumps on Instagram in February, with the Internet finally taking notice a couple months later and turning them into online sensations. The first picture features a pregnant Melanie leaning in to plant a smooch on Vanessa. It was taken in the spring of 2014. The second image depicts an expecting Vanessa resting her hand on her baby bump and returning the kissing favor to Melanie. It was snapped in 2015. The couple’s son, Jax, plays on the sand below his parents in the latter photograph. “Trading places,” Melanie wrote as a caption. Slowly but surely over the past few weeks, LGBT advocacy websites picked up the precious split-screen Instagram picture. It has garnered over 160,000 Likes and nearly 20,000 Shares alone on the Facebook page of a Brazilian advocacy organization known as The Rainbow Group. “It’s crazy to see that people were referring to my family as an inspiration,” Melanie told The Huffington Post yesterday about the feedback she’s received of late. “We are still in complete shock.” She hopes the photo will inspire other lesbian couples hoping to have kids. “Vanessa and I have always said we would both like to carry,” she added. “The woman’s body is incredible. The way it creates and grows another human being is amazing. As the cast of Furious 7 prepares for the movie’s long-awaited premiere this Friday, they are reminded of their lost co-star and “brother,” Paul Walker. Early Furious 7 reviews have been favorable, and the film is expected to gross close to a billion at the box office worldwide. But there remains a void. Tyrese Gibson, a fellow Fast and Furious franchise star, opened up to People about the loss of his co-star. Walker died in a car crash in late 2013. “He was truly an angel,” he said. “We were inspired to pick up the pieces and keep moving because it became ‘Let us do this on his behalf.'” “It’s really hard to do red carpets and have so many people walking up to you screaming … I’m just thinking to myself, ‘It’s not about me, it is so all about Paul .'” Later that day, in an Instagram post, Tyrese’s sentiments expressed sadness that film would premiere without Walker. In a photo of Paul, Gibson captioned, “It’s so hard to celebrate without you.” Cody Walker, Paul’s younger brother, was at the Wednesday evening premiere in Los Angeles. “I’m so happy with it,” Cody said. “I think Paul would be proud.” Cody is no stranger to the Fast and Furious crew, and they have been a source of support for him as his heals from Paul’s death. He stated, “I’ve known some of [the cast] for the last 15 years, but not at this level. I’ve just tripled my family in the last year.” Paul Walker’s daughter, Meadow Walker , was the recipient of her late father’s fortune. She was only 15 when he died. After his death, there was initial issue of custody and guardianship, headed by Paul’s mother, Cheryl. But at Meadow’s request, Cheryl dismissed the petition. Currently, Meadow, 16, lives with her mother, Rebecca Soteros. Gibson was happy to report that Meadow is “really in a great space.” He added: “She’s really focused on her education and just spending a lot of quality time with her friends. That brings her a lot of joy.” It’s only been a year since Walker died. On the anniversary of his death, Meadow posted a heartbreaking Instagram photo of Paul holding her in his lap. The caption simply said, “I love you.” After the trailer for the film aired, she posted another Instagram photo, with Paul lovingly looking at her as she stuck her tongue out at him. At the time, he was in the midst of filming The Fast and the Furious 7. His brothers Cody and Caleb stepped in and doubled as Walker for the film’s completion. Noting the difficultly of doubling for their brother, Gibson said, “It could not have been easy for [Cody and Caleb] … to step in for their brother who we just lost. I have a bunch of new heroes from being a part of this project. It feels like the most beautiful sending off you’ll ever see.” As the cast of the movie has been promoting the film, the love they have shown for their co-star is unprecedented. Kevin Hart Says He Will Never Play A Gay Character No Madea movies for you … Via US Magazine reports: It’s been big week for comedian Kevin Hart , whose movie The Wedding Ringer was released on Friday, Jan. 16 and who hosted the Jan. 17 episode of Saturday Night Live. But a recent radio interview with the actor, 35, has sparked some controversy after Hart said he would not play a gay character on the screen. “I can’t,” he told Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club on Jan. 16 of playing a homosexual character. “Not because I have any ill will or disrespect. Its because I don’t think I’m really going to dive into that role 100 percent because of insecurities about myself trying to play that part. Does that make sense?” The newly-engaged Hart also admitted that he turned down the role of Alpa Chino in 2008’s Tropic Thunder, which ultimately went to Brandon T.
