According to Amber Rose’s former publicist Janero Marchand, he was fired by Amber when he tried to warn Kanye that Amber was stealing from him. Amber fired off a scathing email to Janero that stated: I will make sure everyone I know will not work with u b*tch! How dear u be in the studio with kanye and talk MAD SH-T about me!!!! R u f-ckin crazy???? I cried days for u Janero!!!!! I will make sure ur blacklisted b-tch! I trusted u and u backstabbed me u aint sh*t but a fake Phony ass b*tch ass f-ggot ass Snitch!!!! Lil Wayne and his entourage reportedly got into a fight with Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant at club Liv on South Beach in Miami. Bryant was detained by police but not arrested. According to reports the fight was over a debt Bryant had to a firm that was linked to Lil Wayne’s Young Money Records. The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports: According to a source, the firm, which works with athletes and entertainers to help them purchase luxury items such as cars, yachts and vacation homes, is linked to Lil Wayne and his record label Young Money Entertainment. Wayne and Young Money President Mack Maine and Cash Money Entertainment CEO Brian “Baby” Williams and their entourage were present and involved in the fracas with Bryant, the source said. We wonder if this will affect Lil Wayne’s probation since he’s supposed to be staying out of trouble. Read more at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. New Birth Missionary Baptist Church plans to reopen its New Birth Christian Academy this Thursday (January 19), according to Channel 2 Action News. It was announced at New Birth’s Sunday service that New Birth Christian Academy will reopen through a cooperative agreement with Aurora Day School. Aurora has campuses in Tucker and Roswell. New Birth Christian Academy was a pre-K-12 school and was founded by New Birth’s senior pastor Bishop Eddie Long . As we previously reported, New Birth Christian Academy’s abrupt announcement in December that it would close after 18 years left hundreds of students and parents looking for a new school. At the time New Birth said it was closing the school due to the poor economy and low student enrollment. CBS News is reporting on a new twist in the Florida A&M hazing investigation, as the parents of a student who was beaten to death in November tell CBS News something previously unknown about him: Robert Champion Jr. was gay. CBS News correspondent Mark Strassmann met the parents, Robert and Pam Champion, in Orlando, Fla., where they made their first visit to the hotel parking lot where their son died after a hazing ritual. Champion Jr. was a 26 year old drum major in A&M’s famed marching band, and he was allegedly pummeled by his band mates. He was also a graduate of Southwest DeKalb High School.
