Beyonce & Dad Mathew Knowles Announce Management Split: “Business Is Business”

Beyonce and her manager father Mathew Knowles have parted ways – on a business level. Though this rumor started in August of the last year, the daddy-daughter duo made the official announcement today. Beyonce simply said in her statement that she is grateful for the role her father has had in her career, and that “he is my father for life and I love my dad dearly.” Mathew was a little more long-winded. Read his statement below: “The decision for Beyoncé and Music World Entertainment to part was mutual. We did great things together, and I know that she will continue to conquer new territories in music and entertainment. Currently, I am very focused on the tremendous investment that our record label has made in the gospel/inspirational genre of music and on our supremely talented roster of artists, including Trin-i-tee 5:7, Brian Courtney Wilson, Juanita Bynum, Micah Stampley, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Pastor Rudy and others. “Music World will continue its partnership with Sony with Destiny’s Child and UK female group From Above, as well as management. We will also continue to develop the Music World family of labels: Music World Country/Compadre, Music World Kids and Music World Music. In Music World’s repositioning it will not continue its label/management role with Columbia/Sony artist Tiffany Evans. “Business is business and family is family. I love my daughter and am very proud of who she is and all that she has achieved. Nate Dogg’s close friends and family came out to remember the recently deceased singer at his funeral in Long Beach, CA. Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Warren G, and many others were in attendance. Snoop served as an honorary pallbearer at the funeral which also brought out a who’s who of west coast hip-hop including Xzibit, DJ Quik, Game, Kurupt and Daz Dillinger. “It hurts me so much to see this,” Warren G said during his speech at the funeral. “We been through a whole lot and that was my dog. He stayed down with me from the bottom to the top. I didn’t ever think I would have to sit at a funeral for one of my dogs. All I can say is that was my friend, me him and Snoop was 213 from the balls to the walls. Chris Brown’s neighbors are complaining that the pop star is a horrible neighbor thanks to all of the loud music and constant stream of people coming in and out of his West Hollywood condo. “Chris Brown is a problematic tenant, to say the least,” a source tells RadarOnline . “He has his posse traipsing around until the late hours of the night, he’s loud and totally disrespectful of his neighbors.” The source says that Chris’ neighbors are professional-types who work during the day and need rest at night. “He’s driving the other tenants in the building crazy… It’s important to them to get some rest at night and that’s proving difficult with the noise that’s being generated.” “He just moved in around a month ago and he’s already received a warning. Chris Brown & Rihanna To Have Sit Down On ABC?

After Chris Brown’s explosive blowup at “Good Morning America” last week, it’s reported that ABC wants to book him in a sit down interview with none other than ex-girlfriend Rihanna. Wow. The network hopes that they will be able to pull this off since the restraining order Rihanna had against Chris was lifted a few months ago. According to Popeater.com , a source close to ABC News told E! that they wanted to “milk this event for everything that its worth.. it’s all about the ratings.” Another rumor is that the network is thinking about offering Chris a reality show even though E! shut that rumor down right at the source, saying “No, that would never happen.” What is more likely to happen according to sources close to the network is having Chris and Rihanna sit down and talk for the first time, on television. E! says that if ABC is able to pull this interview off, Robin Roberts (the same women who Chris sat down with during his Good Morning America interview before he went off in the dressing room), will be the woman orchestrating the television special. Amber Rose has gone off on Twitter, addressing the rumors that plague her, as well as the media and public that attack her image. But Atlanta-based comedian Lil Duval has no sympathy for her, and he let her know. Yesterday, she wrote: “Morning Twit Fam, [I] didn’t really wake up in a good mood today. I’m just so sick of being ridiculed. [People] assuming things without knowing. I’m super nice to everyone I meet. I’m a very caring compassionate person. I don’t deserve to be talked about so negatively. I really hate explaining myself that’s why I stay so quiet but I will say this….. I was with my ex for 2 years and now I have a new Love. [Two People] that’s it. If that makes me a whore then so be it. I have NEVER slept with Fabolous, Drake, Chris Brown, Amare, Lebron, Cassidy etc nor have I ever been a Prostitute.” Lil Duval’s replied: “No disrespect, but that’s what comes [with] being around so many different men. In our mind if [you are] with him [you] f***ed him. In this world, it’s not about what you think you are, it’s about what people SEE [you] as and it’s up to you to make them see what you see.
