Blac Chyna: I Only Beat Up Rob Kardashian to Defend Myself!

Even though they never actually got married or owned much property together, Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna’s breakup has been anything but easy. There’s the custody dispute, plus lawsuits on both sides. Among other things, Rob Kardashian — with Kylie’s help — is suing Blac Chyna for her alleged violence against Rob. Well, Blac Chyna claims that she was only violent in self-defense, and wants the suit thrown out. Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian both accuse each other of drug-fueled violence . Lovely. You know, if we believed classist stereotypes, we’d say that these antics sound like they’d be happening in a trailer park and not between millionaires in a southern California mansion. But domestic violence, accusations, and drugs don’t know any socio economic boundaries, folks. Rich people are just better at keeping it quiet. Usually . So, Blac Chyna is demanding $10 million from Rob Kardashian . Or, more accurately, from his family. Because we all know that Rob, though he’s a Kardashian, doesn’t exactly have the net worth of even the “poorest” of his sisters. In fact, Rob may be too broke to pay Blac Chyna . That gives the rest of the Kardashians some extra incentive to help out their brother. So,  Rob Kardashian accused Chyna of choking him with a phone charger cord and of beating him . According to court documents obtained by The Blast , the alleged fight happened at Kylie Jenner’s house ( a house, which Rob was renting) … and resulted in about $100,000 worth of damages. We’re talking about destroyed phone, a destroyed television, and damage to doors and walls … all allegedly caused by Blac Chyna. Now, just because Blac Chyna is 5-foot-2 doesn’t negate the possibility that she could commit domestic violence and property damage. The question is: did she do it? According to court documents viewed by RadarOnline , Blac Chyna doesn’t seem to be denying that she was in some way violent with Rob. (While not necessarily admitting to everything that Rob and Kylie accuse her of doing) Instead, she’s taking an affirmative defense — claiming that she only took action in order to defend herself. (And, according to the legal language of the suit, she may or may not have been taking action to defend someone else) Chyna is trying to dismiss the suit against her over this December 16th, 2016 incident.  Some might be eager to sit back and find entertainment in this situation. Neither Rob nor Chyna project a very likable image — especially in this context. Many believe that Chyna got pregnant on purpose to create a financial tie to a wealthy family. Many believe that Rob is gross, and his revenge porn attack against Chyna over the summer pretty much confirms that. So, if you can’t stand either of them, it’s easy to just look the other way and hope that they both ruin each other’s lives. Maybe you believe that it’s what they deserve. Even if you don’t feel sorry for Kylie for having been caught in the middle of whatever happened between this former couple (because honestly, what’s $100,000 to Kylie? Proportionately to her wealth, that’s a drop in the bucket), you should worry about this situation. Because, whether it was an accident or the result of a soap opera-style scheme, Blac Chyna and Rob had Dream together. That baby daughter is a true innocent, and can’t help but be caught in the middle as her parents go to war in the courtroom. Taylor vs. Katy? Taylor vs. Kim? Taylor vs… everyone? No, 2017 was not a year where only Taylor Swift feuded with her fellow celebrities, it just felt that way. Scroll down for a look at the most memorable rivalries of the past 12 months: 1. Katy Perry vs. Taylor Swift This feud has been going on for years now, but it was elevated to dizzying heights in 2017. “Honestly, it’s really like she started it and it’s time for her to finish it,” said Katy in May during Carpool Karaoke with James Corden. What followed was a colossal change of heart on Katy’s part. In multiple interviews thereafter, Katy was saying that she always loved Taylor. In a hilarious turn of events, Taylor released all of her music on streaming services the same day Katy released her new album. This is the feud that keeps on giving. 2. NeNe Leaks vs. Kim Zolciak It’s crazy to imagine that NeNe and Kim were once scheduled to star in a joint spin-off of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Their feud in 2017 reached new levels of crazy when Kim’s daughter, Brielle Biermann claimed there as an insect infestation in NeNe’s home. “@briellebiermann We don’t have roaches! If you found 1, u brought it with u or it fell outta yo funky p—y!, said Leakes via Instagram. “Please know I will get You all the way together when you start f–king wit me and mine!” NeNe proceeded to call Kim racist, but it backfired in stunning fashion when Kim sought legal counsel. 3. Sarah Jessica Parker vs. Kim Cattrall A third Sex and the City movie was allegedly days away from entering production, but multiple reports swirled, claiming that Cattrall’s diva demands for the movie ultimately found it being shelved indefinitely. Cattrall subsequently chatted to Piers Morgan about her feud with Sarah Jessica Parker and she was not supportive of her former friend at all. “And this is really where I take to task the people from Sex and the City and specifically Sarah Jessica Parker in that I think she could have been nicer. I don’t know what her issue is, I never have.” We’ll probably be waiting until a reboot of the series kicks off for a response from Parker. 4. Caitlyn Jenner vs. The Kardashians Caitlyn Jenner released a tell-all memoir that was met with an icy response from the Kardashians. Caitlyn confirmed in November that the family no longer spoke to her. Kim was especially mad about the whole thing and opened up about it to Ellen DeGeneres. “I don’t expect her to be honest about my mom now, but it’s just so hurtful. Like, I just wish her all the success in the world, but not at our expense.” 5. Drake Bell vs. Josh Peck Drake Bell lashed out at Josh Peck for not inviting him to his wedding. “When you’re not invited to the wedding the message is clear….” he wrote on social media. In the end, the two men hugged it out at the MTV VMAs and all was right in the world. 6. Taylor Swift vs. Kim Kardashian & Kanye West Taylor brought her feud with Kim and Kanye back into the spotlight when she had some choice lyrics seemingly aimed at Kanye on “Look What You Made Me Do.” “I don’t like your little games / Don’t like your tilted stage / The role you made me play / Of the fool, no, I don’t like you.” Kim responded months late by reposting the image that included the nude wax figure of Taylor Swift from Kanye’s “Famous” video. Chris Marek: Is He Using Amy Roloff for Fame and Fortune?

Amy Roloff is once again facing heat for… …. posing for photos with her long-time boyfriend? Sadly, yes. For this singular reason. As we’ve documented on The Hollywood Gossip for several weeks, fans of Little People, Big World can’t seem to fully accept Amy’s romance with Chris Marek. The two have been together for nearly all of 2017 and Marek has given social media users no reason to doubt his intentions when it comes to Roloff. But this doesn’t mean they haven’t gone in search of some on their own. Just over a month ago, for instance, Roloff shared what appears to be a simple, basic, harmless, cute picture of herself and Marek. Yet a few followers didn’t take it that way. “Big mistake, believe me, Amy can do better [than] him, he’s just in it for the game [and] getting his face out there,” wrote one critic as an example. What prompted this line of thinking? We truly have no idea. But it forced Amy to come out and defend Marek, as she even took a shot at her own reality show in the process: “Try not to make quick assumptions about anyone from what you see on an edited show.” Then, just a few days ago, Roloff again posted some sweet pictures of herself and Marek, only to be told by some troll that she should “dump” Chris and ” find someone new .” We remain confounded by all this disdain – but also almost impressed by the lengths users will go to in order to try and prove their misguided points. Take the very first photo above, for example. This is what Amy wrote as a caption to it: What a great week bf Christmas week with getting together w/ good friends! This time of year reminds me What is beautiful about life – the gift God gave to us in Jesus, moments w/ friends, people you love, family, gathering around the table sharing , making moments to remember. Have a good week ahead everyone. And, amazingly/hilariously, this is what someone wrote in response in the Comments section of Instagram: “Amy, Chris nearly blocked your head out! “Your[sic] in love… but doubt he is! More in love with himself and the show. Please Amy watch for the red flags! Don’t want to see you get hurt!” Yes, this person is accusing Marek of purposely using his head to block Roloff’s face in the aforementioned image. This person is then insinuating that this is a sign Marek is only dating Amy because she’s rich and famous. The argument is obviously preposterous simply on its own. But let’s break it down a bit, shall we? First, Amy isn’t all that rich and famous. We don’t mean that as any kind of insult; it’s simply a fact. We’re sure she’s doing perfectly well for herself, but we can’t imagine she’s banking anything deep into seven figures per year or anything. Second, Marek is a very successful real estate agent and has been for years. He has no need to dig for any gold. But try telling this to abusers of the World Wide Web. “What a delusional person she is,” one hater actually wrote about Amy, adding: “Left the old short man for a tall homeless unemployed tall ugly man… split after she took all of his money and property.” SIGH . For the record, not that this even needs to be said: Amy did not take all of Matt Roloff’s money; and Chris has a home and is employed. But thanks for playing, loser Internet person. Kourtney Kardashian to Jennifer Lawrence: Stay Away From Scott Disick!

If you’ve enjoyed her many bonkers interviews over the years (some of which, to our minds, are every bit as entertaining as her funniest film roles), then you’re likely aware that Jennifer Lawrence loves alcohol and reality television. So it’s not surprising that J-Law might have a bit of a thing for Kourtney Kardashian sperm donor and bold innovator in the use of facial hair to camouflage booze bloat, Scott Disick. On second thought, it is surprising, but only in the sense that we’re shocked Scott is still alive. Anyway, Jen revealed her love for the Lord in a recent interview with Oprah, in which she revealed that Scott would be one of her three ideal dinner guests. (The other two were Luann DeLesseps and Bethenny Frankel, both of Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise. Jen … we’re concerned.) Given that Jen chose Scott over any of the women in the Kardashian clan, it’s not surprising that certain tabloids already have these two bedding down together. It’s also not surprising that some of these same publications are casting Kourtney in the role of the insane ex: According to the Australian version of OK! magazine (because why wouldn’t news about three American celebs reach Sydney first?), Kourtney is pissed about the possibility of Jen and Scott hooking up. In fact, Kourt has reportedly warned Lawrence to keep her mitts off her boozy baby daddy. The subtly-titled piece “Kourtney Warns J. Law: Stay Away From Scott!” doesn’t offer anything in the way of quotes or evidence, and instead poses an argument along the lines of “makes sense if ya think about it.” The article also doesn’t mention the fact that Kourtney is dating Younes Bendjima . Or that Scott is with Sofia Richie . Or that Jen was clearly joking, and her ideal dinner party would really just consist of Meryl Streep playing three different roles. Look, we believe Jen when she says she genuinely enjoys Keeping Up With the Kardashians (though it’s worth noting that she’s said she watches the show “to fall asleep.” Celebrities–they’re as bored with the Kardashians as the rest of us!). But there’s a difference between enjoying a reality show and wanting to enmesh yourself in that world. We like watching Naked and Afraid , but the thought of a single genital mosquito is enough to keep us inside for the bulk of 2018. Hey, if the mere mention of Scott Disick doesn’t bring to mind a bloodsucker who will spread disease to your nether regions, then you’re not sufficiently wary of the Lord. Taylor Swift and Katy Perry: Did They Finally Bury the Hatchet?!

It feels like Taylor Swift and Katy Perry have been stuck in this petty feud forever, doesn’t it? Like, yes, it has been literal years since the first became mortal enemies, but still, it’s really been dragging out. It’s been over three years now since Taylor released “Bad Blood” — and since she revealed that it was about a fellow pop star . “For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not,” Taylor said in a 2014 interview. “She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, ‘Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'” She said that the previous year (2013 if you’re keeping up, which means that this feud is nearly five years old) “she did something so horrible” that made her realize “Oh, we’re just straight up enemies.” “It had to do with business,” she explained. “She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me.” In all the time since this whole mess began, we learned what really happened: there were some backup dancers who toured with Katy, and then they toured with Taylor. Before they went on tour with Taylor, Katy told them that she’d be touring again soon too, so if they wanted to work with her again, to be sure to work that out in their contracts with Taylor. So they did, and when it was time for Katy’s tour, they left Taylor’s. That’s it. That’s what this whole dumb thing is about. Things sort of simmered for a while — they both acted shady here and there , or they did things that were perceived to be shady. But earlier this year, Katy finally retaliated by releasing a diss track of her own in “Swish Swish.” And after she released the song, she spent a whole, whole lot of time talking about Taylor. She accused her of trying to ” assassinate my character ,” and she hinted that “karma” would be coming for her. “There is the law of cause and effect,” Katy said in one interview. “You do something and there’s gonna be a reaction. And trust me, daddy, there’s gonna be a reaction.” Then, in a podcast she did to promote her new album back in June, she said that she was ” ready to let it go .” “I forgive her and I’m sorry for anything I ever did, and I hope the same from her,” she said. “I think it’s actually, like, I think it’s time.” “There are bigger fish to fry, and there are real problems in the world. You know what I’m saying? I love her, and I want the best for her.” “Maybe I don’t agree with everything she does,” she continued, “and she doesn’t agree with everything I do, but I just really, truly want to come together in a place of love and forgiveness and understanding and compassion.” And according to some new reports, it looks like they’ve finally been able to do that! Taylor has been spotted in Miami this week, filming a music video for her song, “End Game.” And according to several people who spotted her, one of her backup dancers looks a whole, whole lot like Katy. A source spoke with E! News and confirmed that Katy did film with Taylor, and that they made up while they were both in Miami. We guess we’ll see if it’s true when the video comes out, but we do know that Katy was down in Florida earlier this week on her tour, so it’s definitely possible she could have set aside time to hang with Taylor. It’s totally on once again between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton. At least here at The Hollywood Gossip. A few weeks ago, shortly after Markle and Prince Harry announced their engagement and then made their first public appearance as a betrothed pairing, we pitted the actress against the Duchess. We asked readers to vote on which beauty looked best in her engagement dress . And the winner was… FIND OUT NOW ! On Thursday morning, meanwhile, Harry and Markle unveiled their official engagement portraits, reminding our staff of two things: 1. Just how gorgeous each of these stars happens to be. 2. What Prince William and Middleton looked like in their official engagement portrait. Seriously, are these four of the best looking people on the planet or what?!? It’s only appropriate that they’ve found each other. Markle and Harry posed for fashion photographer Alexi Lubomirski this at Frogmore House, Windsor for their portraits, with Lubomirski saying the following about the shoot: “It was an incredible honor to be asked to document this wonderful event. “But also a great privilege to be invited to share and be a witness to this young couple’s love for one another.” Harry and Meghan will get married on May 19, 2018, which is just a month or so after Middleton is due to give birth to her third child. So these two couples will remain linked for a long time to come. We hear there’s a bit of tension between Markle and Middleton over the former sort of stealing the latter’s spotlight and thunder. Is there any truth to this chatter? Did the quartet recently go on a double date to squash the growing beef ? Meghan Markle & Kate Middleton: Lunching Together to Quash Feud Rumors?

Meghan Markle is a divorced American newcomer, poised to marry into the British Royal Family. Kate Middleton is pregnant with yet another hair to the crown. As much as Kensington Palace tries to quash rumors of a feud between Kate and Meghan , people notice when one woman is stealing another’s spotlight. And some wonder if Kate and Meghan’s “double date” with the Queen has less to do with family and is instead a calculated move to make the women seem like friends. Kate Middleton is pregnant with her third child. She’s due in April, and while a third royal baby isnt’t the same as the first, well, we’re still talking about a royal baby, folks. It’s big news. You know what else is big news? Kate Middleton’s brother-in-law is engaged. Harry and Meghan Markle have even set the wedding date for May 19th. As excited as people are for the nuptials … that is the month after Kate gives birth. They couldn’t have put it off? People reports that Meghan Markle joined her fiance Prince Harry on Wednesday for a yearly royal tradition. It was the annual pre-Christmas lunch. It took place with Harry’s grandmother, the Queen. And they were not alone. Joining them were Prince William and Kate Middleton. Now, the Royal family has been moving its members around secretly when needed for literal centuries. For this, though, no one made any apparent moves to keep things covert, and the whole world knows that Kate and Meghan were eating side-by-side. Maybe it’s just tradition … or maybe they’re hoping that news of this family lunch at Buckingham Palace smooths all of those stories of resentment. Even before Meghan Markle was engaged to Prince Harry or set her wedding date so close to Kate’s due date, Meghan was nudging the already publicly pregnant Kate Middleton out of the spotlight. Anyone else remember that ridiculous story about Meghan Markle “curing” Kate Middleton’s morning sickness with some sort of home remedy? At the time, Meghan was just Harry’s girlfriend, but rumors were already attributing magical healing powers to her. Now that the two are engaged, some people are basically forgetting that Kate’s even pregnant. As the wedding date approaches, discussions of Meghan Markle are going to grow more frequent, not less. (Honestly, I predict that plenty of stories about Kate giving birth are going to be framed in a way that mentions Meghan) Stories of royal resentment, true or not, aren’t going away any time soon. So what makes the royal family so happy to have Meghan Markle join them? A couple of things. One, Prince Harry isn’t a some sort of royal colleague — he’s the prince. He lost his mother at a young age, and his grandmother adores him. (Who doesn’t?) So of course they’re happy to clear away some of the hurdles that stand between him and happiness. Honestly, restrictions on royal marriages should have probably gone away a long time ago. Two, the British government and Kensington Palace know how to do math, and they’ve crunched the numbers. It’s projected that Meghan Markle’s wedding to Prince Harry could rake in some serious dough for the UK. How much dough, you ask? $670 million . With the UK bracing itself for losses during their Brexit nightmare, a wedding that draws in 1,000 times its cost is a big win. And Harry’s happiness? Also a win. Whatever issues Meghan and Kate might have — honestly, rumor tends to suggest that it’s Kate with the alleged gripes — shouldn’t matter when it comes to each other’s happiness. They’re about to become family. What’s almost certain is that, if these two really are feuding, it’ll stay quiet — expressed only as rumor. Because the Royal Family would love to avoid scandals. It would be so nice to believe that the four of them just had a nice lunch with their grandmother who’s also the Queen and that everyone was happy for each other. Maybe it’s just tradition … or maybe they’re hoping that news of this family lunch at Buckingham Palace smooths all of those stories of resentment. Even before Meghan Markle was engaged to Prince Harry or set her wedding date so close to Kate’s due date, Meghan was nudging the already publicly pregnant Kate Middleton out of the spotlight. Anyone else remember that ridiculous story about Meghan Markle “curing” Kate Middleton’s morning sickness with some sort of home remedy? At the time, Meghan was just Harry’s girlfriend, but rumors were already attributing magical healing powers to her. Now that the two are engaged, some people are basically forgetting that Kate’s even pregnant. As the wedding date approaches, discussions of Meghan Markle are going to grow more frequent, not less. (Honestly, I predict that plenty of stories about Kate giving birth are going to be framed in a way that mentions Meghan) Stories of royal resentment, true or not, aren’t going away any time soon. So what makes the royal family so happy to have Meghan Markle join them? A couple of things. One, Prince Harry isn’t a some sort of royal colleague — he’s the prince. He lost his mother at a young age, and his grandmother adores him. (Who doesn’t?) So of course they’re happy to clear away some of the hurdles that stand between him and happiness. Honestly, restrictions on royal marriages should have probably gone away a long time ago. Two, the British government and Kensington Palace know how to do math, and they’ve crunched the numbers. It’s projected that Meghan Markle’s wedding to Prince Harry could rake in some serious dough for the UK. How much dough, you ask? $670 million . With the UK bracing itself for losses during their Brexit nightmare, a wedding that draws in 1,000 times its cost is a big win. And Harry’s happiness? Also a win. Whatever issues Meghan and Kate might have — honestly, rumor tends to suggest that it’s Kate with the alleged gripes — shouldn’t matter when it comes to each other’s happiness. They’re about to become family. What’s almost certain is that, if these two really are feuding, it’ll stay quiet — expressed only as rumor. Because the Royal Family would love to avoid scandals. It would be so nice to believe that the four of them just had a nice lunch with their grandmother who’s also the Queen and that everyone was happy for each other. McKayla Maroney Sues USA Gymnastics: They Forced Me to Stay Silent

In October, McKayla Maroney revealed that she’d been molested by her team doctor , Larry Nassar. That makes her one of more than 140 survivors who accuse him of the same thing. From the outset, it’s been strongly hinted that there were people who knew about Nassar’s sexual predation and kept quiet. Now, McKayla’s taking action against the people whom she accuses of covering up a monster in their midst. McKayla is only one of many young women who have accused Dr. Nassar of molesting them when they were girls, preying upon them under the guise of “treatment.” Dr. Nassar has been sentenced for child porn charges, and has pleaded guilty to molesting 10 girls. Obviously, that’s just a drop in the awful bucket beside the number of women who accuse him. Wednesday, McKayla Maroney filed a lawsuit against USA Gymnastics.for the role that she says that they played in covering up Dr. Nassar’s monstrous deeds. As part of a financial settlement (of a reported sum of $1.25 million) so that McKayla could get needed psychological treatments, USA Gymnastics allegedly included a non-disclosure agreement. Maroney’s lawyer says that USA Gymnastics forced this provision so that “it could further conceal and shield from public scrutiny, outside investigation, and law enforcement, the true nature of Nassar’s horrific sexual abuse of minors.” Dr. Nassar’s misdeeds are not really in question. Again, this is a man who has already confessed to multiple counts of molestation. “Plaintiff alleges that Defendant USAG had a plan to keep the sexual abuse of Nassar quiet, and allow Nassar to quietly leave USAG, further silencing his victims.” To be fair, apparently USA Gymnastics contacted the FBI with at least some information on Larry Nassar, but allegedly failed to raise any kind of public alarm. Which may have allowed him to find new victims. The NDA would then appear to be a measure intended to conceal any wrongdoing by USA Gymnastics — hiding their mistake in hiring Nassar and also hoping to bury his misdeeds forever. If you’re thinking  gee, how can McKayla speak up on this if she signed a non-disclosure agreement?  … well, funny thing about that. ( Funny  probably isn’t the right word, here) McKayla Maroney lives in California, where survivors of child sexual abuse — like McKayla — cannot be forced to sign NDAs as part of a settlement. Which is probably why McKayla’s attorney, John Manly, had zero kind words to say about the agreement: He referred to it as “hypocritical, immoral, and in this case illegal.” We’re no legal scholars, but it sounds like he’s right. Manly had further choice words for USA Gymnastics, and specifically for whoever among them new about Dr. Nassar but allegedly prioritized avoiding public embarrassment, allowing him to go on and find new prey at the University of Michigan. “Those responsible for this should be removed from the Olympic movement and USA Gymnastics.” That sounds fair. As punishment and as a deterrent, so that this will hopefully never happen again. “If they would treat one of the most famous athletes in world like this, how poorly would they treat a recreational gymnast abused by her coach.” That’s a really good point. McKayla Maroney is a household name. She’s met the President. (Well, the good one, from last year) Look at how hard McKayla is having to fight for justice, and she’s a celebrity. Someone with no celebrity status would surely be much more intimidated — by Dr. Nassar and by any attempts to shush them by USA Gymnastics. With more and more sex monsters being exposed every day, we hope that the world will become a safer place for women and girls. But that’s going to take time. It’s also going to take these predatory men, and the people who helped keep their secrets, facing real consequences. That, we think, is what McKayla aims to do.
