Jill Duggar: SLAMMED For Latest Parenting Fail!

Another day, another Jill Duggar parenting scandal. The mother of two is a common target for mommy-shaming, which is odd, as there are usually far more valid reasons to criticize Jill and her famous family. These days, Jill and husband Derick Dillard might actually be the most hated couple in the Duggar clan, which is really saying something. The Dillards offenses pale in comparison to the Josh Duggar’s sex crimes , but Josh’s wife Anna is beloved by fans, which somewhat balances things out. Jill and Derick, on the other hand, are both increasingly despised across the board. In fact, Derick was recently fired by TLC due to his online harassment of Jazz Jennings, a transgender teen who also has a show on the network. But while fans are often put off by Derick’s views, they’re often more vocal about their distaste for Jill’s parenting methods. Case in point–the Dillards stopped by Der’s parents’ house over Thanksgiving weekend, and a photo of the family at dinner shows 4-month-old Samuel Dillard seated on the floor . “Jill enjoys procreation, but once the baby is born, she’s not interested in the least in the actual parenting,” commented one fan. “How about a carrier or a swing – something besides the dirty floor? I never would have done that to either of my children,” another fan remarked. The situation brings to mind the time that Jill was slammed for putting a tortilla on her baby’s head . Was it dumb and weird? Sure! But it was dumb and weird in a fairly innocuous way. Folks, there are so many better things to complain about. And we’re not hitting you with the “starving kids in Africa” argument here. We mean there are better things to complain about within the Duggar family. You’ve got Josh; you’ve Derick’s bigotry; you’ve got the fact that certain siblings have no qualms about begging for money from fans, despite the fact that the family presides over a lucrative media empire. And don’t get us started on the ludicrously over-the-top efforts to hide the fact that Joy-Anna Duggar clearly got pregnant before her wedding to Austin Forsyth. Meghan King Edmonds: Pregnant with Second Child!

Though rumors continue to swirl that she could be one of the stars of The Real Housewives of Orange County getting fired , Meghan King Edmonds continues to have plenty of fans who are happy tor updates on her life. And, well, she has a pretty major life update: She’s pregnant! And she’s expecting a … Meghan King Edmonds posted a very lengthy announcement on her blog, writing: “So we’ve made it to the announcement: Aspen is going to be a big sister!” That’s exciting! Though we’d point out that this announcement came on Aspen’s first birthday (yesterday), so she won’t be much older than her younger sibling. “It was so hard for us to keep it a secret from everyone especially since we shared our entire IVF journey with Aspen on RHOC from the very beginning.” And there’s a lot of detail about her latest IVF journey in this post, as well. “Tonight on the RHOC reunion you’ll see that I’m only one month pregnant, but that was filmed five weeks ago: we are now ten weeks pregnant (and I’m feeling every bit of it)!” Awww, that’s wonderful news! “Because you won’t see any of our current journey on RHOC, I’ll share our beautiful journey with you here!” Maybe she just means because, you know, the show doesn’t quite film back-to-back, but some are reading that line as confirmation that Meghan King Edmonds won’t return to RHOC next year. Her post continues: “When Aspen was only a few months old, Jimmy and I knew we wanted to add another baby to the mix.” Wow. Most parents of infants are too tired to tie their shoes properly, let alone make major life decisions. “Yes, Aspen has half-siblings but we wanted her to be able to share in the joy of waking up to a sibling every day of her life.” It’s good that she reassures readers that she’s not pretending that Aspen’s an only child. And then some: “Plus her half-siblings are completely enamored by Aspen and they LOVED the idea of expanding our family even more.” Little siblings are very exciting. “I had reliable companionship this time around with Jimmy by my side, my trusty furry companion Girly Girl and of course, baby Aspen.” She mentions them for a great reason. “It may seem silly to mention Aspen and Girly Girl but this support system was everything to me during round 2 of IVF.” There’s nothing silly about a support system! In case anyone had forgotten, she recapped her previous struggles with IVF. “Side note: If you remember from RHOC, during my first round of IVF I entered the worst depression of my life, probably due to the erratic hormones combined with loneliness.” Guys, if you know anyone who’s had hormone treatments, you know that it can have devastating effects on mental and emotional health. Remember when you were 14 and had all of these feelings and they all seemed so important? Well, imagine suddenly being plunged into that again as an adult, but magnified. Meghan King Edmonds talked about how she was able to cope: “I was able to wean off my depression meds halfway through my pregnancy with Aspen which directly corresponded with when I got Girly Girl, and I haven’t been on a lick of antidepressants since then.” We hope that all of this weaning was done under a doctor’s supervision. “Dogs are truly woman’s best friend and medicine for the soul… and apparently clinical depression!” Not all depression can be cured with a pet, of course — but some specific issues can totally be addressed with a pet. Now, she goes into great detail into the IVF process … which is great for anyone wondering what that’s like. And then she talks about where she is now: “Fast forward to today and I am pregnant! I’m not feeling the greatest but we know that it will all be worth it in the end.” Surrogates are always an option to a couple of means. Just saying. “Aspen will make a fabulous big sister at only a year-and-a-half old in June 2018!” So we already know the (very approximate) due date! Though we could have puzzled it out with the knowledge that she’s 10 weeks pregnant. “Oh, what about the biggest question: Boy or girl? Think blue this time around!” Ah, yes, the ever-important arbitrary gendering of colors. But still, Aspen’s going to love having a younger brother! Josh Duggar Hangs With Family, Outrages Fans on Thanksgiving!

As you might be aware, this hasn’t been the greatest year for rapists, child molesters, and other sick, predatory bastards.  From Hollywood to D.C., the most loathsome behavior imaginable is being called out like never before. But it seems the coast-to-coast tidal wave of disgust skipped right over the tiny town of Tontitown, Arkansas. It was just two years ago that the world Josh Duggar molested five young girls , four of whom were his sisters, while he was still living at home with his parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. Those same parents have admitted to helping Josh hide his crimes from law enforcement officials, thus enabling him to avoid being prosecuted. We assume to Jim Bob and Michelle recently got a call from Harvey Weinstein, because the fact that they were able to mitigate the ensuing damage to their public image so effectively that they’re now back on TV is impressive in a truly nauseating way. There was a very brief time in which the Duggars made an effort to keep Josh off their social media pages, but as you can see from the family’s Thanksgiving photo (below) those days are long gone: Yes, there’s Josh front-and-center, and while a surprising majority of Duggar fans saw no cause for complaint, others pointed out that there’s something very, very wrong with this picture. “Can’t believe you still let those children near Josh. Ugh. Absolutely disgusting,” commented one fan. “That’s disgusting and inappropriate,” another remarked. “Hope Josh kept his hands to himself at Thanksgiving and that no girls fell into a tryptophan nap. He loves those sleeping girls!” a third “joked.” Instagram comments are all well and good, but hopefully you folks are expressing your misgivings in sternly-worded emails TLC, as well. Another vocal contingent pointed out that Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth are curiously missing from the photo. Naturally, the conspiracy theorists came out of the woodwork to claim the absence as further proof that Joy-Anna got pregnant before her wedding and is currently being hidden from public view so as to hide the fact that she’s several months further along than the Duggars would have us believe. Others pointed out that it’s entirely possible the newlyweds simply decided to spend the holiday with Austin’s family. Whatever the case, it’s yet another Duggar Thanksgiving photo that’s stuffed full of controversy. Jennifer Lawrence & Darren Aronofsky: It’s Over!

So, remember how Jennifer Lawrence started dating Darren Aronofsky  last year after they worked together on Mother ?  It was an odd romance. Aronofsky, despite being a director, was something of a mystery man. Also he is 21 years her senior. But all good things — and also this relationship — must come to an end. Okay, so Mother was critically acclaimed (well, it received generally positive reviews). We’re always here for anything with Michelle Pfeiffer in it, honestly. Jennifer Lawrence stated that she had a crush on Darren Aronofsky even before they did the film, even back during the casting phase. At the time, J Law was 26 and Aronofsky was 47. (Serious question time: have any of you ever had a crush on someone two decades your senior? At the risk of sounding ageist, I sure haven’t) They kept things friendly during the production of the film, but Jennifer Lawrence says that she essentially claimed him as her boyfriend when they finished filming. Remember, folks — we don’t need to understand a relationship or the basis for attraction to be happy for others. However, their relationship — like literally all romantic relationships — wasn’t going to last forever. Entertainment Tonight reports that, after about a year of dating, Jennifer Lawrence and Darren Aronofsky have called it quits. They report this based upon information from multiple sources. Honestly, some people’s responses to this was that they’d forgotten that the two of them were dating at all. Compared to past romantic entanglements like X-Men costar Nicholas Hoult and Coldplay ‘s Chris Martin, Aronofsky proved to be a relatively low key romantic interest. There’s no telling if the two just had busy schedules or decided to just leave it as a fling or if they had a full-blown falling out or realized that their personalities were too different. Not too long ago, however, they were both singing each other’s praises in interviews. Aronofsky referred to J Law as a ” once in a generation talent,” which is some pretty serious praise. And Lawrence, in turn, called the director “brilliant” as well as “incredibly instinctual.” Obviously, those were both conversations about the other in their professional lives. Jennifer Lawrence has really identified herself as the instigator of their relationship, but given the way that Aronofsky gushed about her, we’d say that the interest wasn’t completely one-sided. “Well, I don’t know what makes her great — maybe it was her parents, maybe it was the Kentucky water,” he joked about her. Okay, that’s a bit awkward. (Honestly, “Kentucky Water” just makes me think of getting a cup of water at Kentucky Fried Chicken — no offense to the citizens of Kentucky) He continued at the time: “I have no idea, but she’s, like, a once-in-a-generation talent, and just a whirlwind and a hurricane and an earthquake and a thunderstorm of talent.” Jennifer Lawrence is an Oscar-winning talent and obviously a great actress, but most of us aren’t describing her like some sort of destructive goddess made flesh. But maybe that’s the secret to hooking up with Jennifer Lawrence? We wouldn’t know. Without knowing more about the breakup, we can’t say with any degree of certainty whether she’ll want to cool her jets for a while … or immediately jump into a new relationship. Like, did they break up because of cheating? Depending on who cheated, we could be looking at a very lengthy dry spell or a very short one. If they just weren’t having fun anymore or the age difference got weird or if competing schedules were a problem, though, maybe J Law will be seeing another special someone before too long. Princess Diana: Her Final Words Revealed

It’s been 20 years since Princess Diana was killed in a car accident after being chased through the streets of Paris by a pack of aggressive paparazzi. Two decades later, Diana’s children are grown, and her legacy continues to flourish. Just this week, Di’s youngest son, Prince Harry, proposed to Meghan Markle using a ring made with diamonds from Diana’s collection. But while most discussions and remembrances of Diana focus on the challenges and remarkable accomplishments of her tragically short life, there are still lingering questions regarding the princess’ shocking death.  Most of the answers, of course, are lost to history, but a surprising report from London tabloid The Sun is shedding new light on Diana’s final moments. Xavier Gourmelon is a retired Paris firefighter who was one of the first to arrive at the scene of Diana’s deadly crash inside the Pont de l’Alma tunnel in August of 1997. Gourmelon says he felt it would not have been appropriate to discuss his memories of the accident while he was still employed by as a firefighter. Following his recent retirement, however, Gourmelon has decided to go public with previously-unknown details about Diana’s death, including what he claims were the final words ever uttered by the People’s Princess. “We were very close to there and it took less than three minutes to reach it,” he says of the crash. “My ten-man team was in two trucks and we were first to arrive.” Gourmelon says that he and his team were not aware that among the victims they struggled to free from the wreck was one of the world’s most famous women. “The car was in a mess and we just dealt with it like any road accident. We got straight to work to see who needed help and who was alive,” he adds. “The woman, who I later found out was Princess Diana, was on the floor in the back. She was moving very slightly and I could see she was alive.” It was then, Gourmelon says, that Diana uttered what he believes to have been her last words: “I held her hand and told her to be calm and keep still, I said I was there to help and reassured her,” he tells The Sun . “She said, ‘My God, what’s happened?’”  Gourmelon says that he initially believed Diana had suffered only a “slight injury to her right shoulder.” Just seconds after she spoke, however, the princess abruptly lost consciousness and stopped breathing. Having been trained in CPR, Gourmelon acted quickly: “I massaged her heart and a few seconds later she started breathing again. It was a relief of course because, as a first responder, you want to save lives — and that’s what I thought I had done,” he says. “To be honest I thought she would live. As far as I knew when she was in the ambulance she was alive and I expected her to live. But I found out later she had died in hospital.” Gourmelon says he was stunned by the news of Diana’s death, as he and the rest of his team believed she would recover. As with so many millions of others, thoughts of Diana remain with Gourmelon to this day. “I know now that there were serious internal injuries, but the whole episode is still very much in my mind,” he says. “And the memory of that night will stay with me forever.”

Stassi Schroeder Dragged (HARD) for Mocking #MeToo Movement

Stassi Schroeder is persona non grata around the Internet right now. And for a fairly understandable reason. The 29-year old Vanderpump Rules star addressed the victims of Hollywood’s ongoing sexual misconduct scandal on her Straight Up with Stassi podcast this week… … only she didn’t exactly take their side, for some strange and indefensible reason. Instead, she actually titled the latest episode “Are we on a male witch hunt?” and made comments that implied men such as Kevin Spacey and Charlie Rose were the ones getting a raw deal these days. In response to Schroeder’s stance, critics jumped on Twitter and jumped all over the reality star. “so I’m never one to go here but I’m disgusted after listening to @stassi newest episode,” wrote one annoyed individual, adding: “How dare you question these victims, mock #metoo , or even defend men who push boundaries with women.” Added another: “I’m only 15 minutes in and I’m already offended. I’ve never heard such ignorance or general disregard for women. She’s literally saying basically women only are lying for attention and we just are on a man with hunt. And another: “No one can MAKE me suck a dick’ And it’s official I’ve turned the podcast off.” During her podcast, Schroeder took issue with the idea that women were forced to give oral sex in some of these alleged situations. “I’m sorry, no one could make me suck a dick,” she said, adding: “I’m sorry it sounds like he thought you liked it because you were making out with him. And now that it’s a trend and it’s #metoo you’re going to come out and accuse him because you regret it.” Pretty easy to see why so many people are so upset with her, isn’t it? Not just people, though, Advertisers have also come out and distanced themselves from her podcast. Rent the Runway, for example, Tweeted the following: “We’re shocked by @stassi’s comments re the #metoo campaign. It goes against everything RTR stands for as a company and has publicly advocated. “Our 1st ads were slated to run on Mon but effective immediately we’ve terminated our relationship with her podcast.” Another advertiser, Framebridge, shared this sentiment: “In no way do @stassi’s comments about the #metoo campaign reflect our beliefs. We are ending our relationship with the Straight Up with Stassi Podcast effective immediately. “We will always stand by brave women sharing their stories.” How has Stassi responded to this scandal? By using it for PR purposes. She Tweeted in reply to the advertiser boycott and the backlash from listeners: “Just finished recording a follow up episode… stay tuned.” Nope, sorry. Naya Rivera Charged with Domestic Battery of Ryan Dorsey

We all know that Mark Salling faces prison time , but he's not the only Glee star in trouble with the law. Naya Rivera has been charged with domestic battery against her husband, Ryan Dorsey. And the alleged incident occurred in the presence of the couple's child . Almost two months ago, we told you to pop your “congratulations on your divorce!” balloons and to go ahead and eat your celebratory divorce cake, if you'd had them ready. Because Naya Rivera and Ryan Dorsey had called off their divorce . Naya and Ryan have a young son , Josey Hollis Dorsey.  The couple had been in the process of disentangling after two years of marriage, but sometimes, couples work things out. Sometimes, partners try to work through their differences for their child's sake. However, sometimes trying to make things work — for yourselves or for a child or both — end up just making things worse. And, well, it looks like things have gotten much worse. Local news station WSAZ-TV  reports that Naya Rivera has been charged with domestic battery after an alleged assault against husband Ryan Dorsey. She was arrested at home on Saturday evening, at around 9:30pm in Kanawha County, West Virginia. Ryan Dorsey told deputies that Naya had struck him in the head and lip while the couple was taking their son, Josey, on a walk down the street. Domestic violence is always a serious situation folks, but this allegation is that it took place in front of their child. That is much worse. And though we don't know the circumstances that led to this, it's reported that Dorsey presented cell phone video to the police that featured Naya's battery against him. Naya Rivera was charged after midnight (so, technically, on Sunday morning). Her bond was set at $1000 at first, but upon review of the evidence and a review of her criminal history, Naya was released on PR bond — personal recognizance.  Reportedly, it was her father-in-law, of all people, who picked her up afterwards. We cannot imagine what sort of conversation they must have had on that car ride. And we still have no knowledge of what brought about this incident of alleged domestic battery. But domestic violence is very serious. Unless Naya was somehow defending herself or someone else, which no one has suggested so far, we can't imagine any sort of justification. And, again, this was reportedly in the presence of their young child. Witnessing a domestic assault can be traumatic for children. This news comes as a crushing disappointment, and not just for fans of Naya Rivera's acting roles. In the past, Naya Rivera revealed that she'd had an abortion and she also detailed her eating disorder . That took a lot of bravery. A lot of people liked that she was willing to share those parts of her story with the world. But there's nothing inspirational or educational about an accusation of domestic battery. Naya's hardly the first celebrity to disappoint us this month, but it's never good to learn that someone — famous or otherwise — isn't who you thought they were.

As you've no doubt heard by now, Kylie Jenner is pregnant with her first child. We think. Kylie has yet to confirm that she's expecting , and a surprisingly large contingent of fans believe that's because she's not actually knocked up. Why would she engage in such a foolish stunt? What makes Kylie's biggest fans think she's misleading the public? And why the hell won't she just come out and say whether she's pregnant? Some fans think Kylie messed up with this Snapchat post from early November that appears to show her buying tampons. 5. Offspring Bonanza Others think it’s suspicious that three Kardashian women are expecting children at the same time … and that the news coincides with a recent decline in the family’s popularity. 6. But Why Would Kylie Lie? Obviously, the Kards aren’t averse to publicity stunts, but a fake pregnancy would be ridiculous even by Kris Jenner’s standards. Below, for example, is a rundown of well-known men and women who allegedly slept with celebrities while those celebrities were in relationships… 1. Sara Leal Sara Leal was the 22-year old who told Us Weekly all about the time Ashton Kutcher had sex with her in a hot tub…while he was still wed to Demi Moore. 2. Rachel Roy She sort of outed herself as Jay Z’s mistress after Beyonce released an album titled “Lemonade” that clearly accuse her husband of cheating. (We said Rachel Roy, people. Not celebrity chef Rachael Ray.) 3. Rachel Uchitel Patient zero of the Tiger Woods scandal. She later went on to serve as David Boreanaz’s side-piece. 4. Ava London London’s dalliance with Hank Baskett is still stirring up drama. We hope for her sake that she’s working on scoring a reality show deal. 5. Cady Groves Cady Groves was a little-known singer songwriter…until she (allegedly) broke up the biggest marriage in country music. We don’t know if Cady is any good when it comes to writing country songs, but she sure knows how to live one! 6. Chloe Bartoli Photos of Chloe canoodling with Scott Disick led to the reality star getting dumped by Kourtney Kardashian. She still says the pics were misleading, and nothing happened between them.
