Demi Lovato: 19 (VERY!) Candid Confessions from Her Documentary

Demi Lovato has always been an open book. The singer has never shied away over the years from discussing her battles with substance abuse and an eating disorder. In the YouTube documentary “Simply Complicated,” Lovato is an open… series of books? We're not sure how to phrase it, we just know the artist discusses absolutely everything, from her career to her drug use to her most famous relationship. Scroll down and then all around for a look at all we learned about Lovato in this revealing film: 1. When Did She First Do Cocaine? “I was 17 working on Disney Channel, and I was with a couple of friends and they introduced me to it. I was scared because my mom always told me that your heart could just burst if you do it. But I did it anyways and I loved it. I felt out of control with the coke the first time that I did it.” 2. Yes, She Once Punched a Backup Dancer in the Face After learning someone named Shorty outed her for using Adderall during a Camp Rock 2 tour, “I remember thinking, ‘I’m about to beat this bitch up.’ She had already boarded the plane, I just went up to her and it was like a blur.” 3. This Was a “Breaking Point” Lovato said she slept the whole day afterward, texted her mom an apology and realized she needed major help. 4. She Entered Rehab, Got Diagnosed as Bipolar… … and then fell off the wagon: “I wasn’t working my program, I wasn’t ready to get sober. I was sneaking it on planes, in bathrooms, nobody knew. I went on a bender of two months when I was using daily and there was one night where I used a bunch of coke, I popped a few Xanax bars and I started to choke a little bit and my heart started racing. I remember thinking, oh my god, I might be overdosing right now.” 5. This Was the Last Time She Drank: “I invited 2 random people and basically just drank with them. I got really really drunk until it was time to get on a flight and I was so drunk that I threw up in the back of the car service on the way to the airport to perform on American Idol. I felt like that was a moment in my career where I didn’t care. I just knew that I needed to be high to get through what I was going through at that point.” 6. It Was On to a Sober Living Facility She retired here every night after judging The X Factor. Said her manager in the documentary of this experience: “She’s having to do chores. She has no cell phone. She’s completely and totally submitted to the process of recovery.” View Slideshow

#MeToo: Stars Share Stories of Sexual Harassment, Assault

Alyssa Milano and a host of female celebrities are doing what they can on social media to raise awareness about sexual harassment and/or assault. In the wake of the troubling Harvey Weinstein rape allegations , and the ways in which Hollywood has appeared to cover the producer's actions up, Milano has Tweeted a call-to-action. She's asking people to speak out about being sexually harassed or assaulted by replying to her tweet with the words “Me Too.” (According to Twitter, #MeToo has been tweeted nearly half a million times in the past 24 hours.) Audrey Roloff Shares New Ember Jean Pictures! Awww!

As new parents, Audrey and Jeremy Roloff don’t have the kind of free time that they used to. Having a newborn consumes your entire life, but they’re getting by. Thankfully, they’re not too busy to bring us little updates on social media. And by “updates,” we of coure mean photos. New photos of the new parents and their precious Ember Jean. While nothing is going to top seeing Ember Jean and Jackson Roloff hold hands , we’ve accepted that. They’re both babies and they’re cousins and the preciousness of the two of them combines is overpowering. But these new photos are also touching. In addition to a couple of pics that we’d seen before, Audrey Roloff shared some new pictures of herself, Ember Jean, and Jeremy Roloff. Though, as Audrey makes certain to clarify in the captions, the pictures are only “new” to the rest of the world. As they were taken when Ember Jean was only one week old. Audrey captioned the series of photos: “So much LOVE!!! God blessed me beyond measure with these two.” Of course, her devout Christian faith is a huge and integral part of Audrey’s brand, so that’s exactly how anyone familiar with Audrey would expect for her to frame her happiness. “I just love them both more and more each day.” Cute! “Our girl @dawn_photo took these precious photos for us when Ember was only a week old!” That was, you guessed it, four weeks ago. “How can she already be 5 weeks?! Ah!” Weird to think that it was only 5 weeks ago when Ember Jean Roloff was born . Time flies! Audrey finishes up her caption by promising that there is more to come: “More photos of Ember’s nursery coming to the blog this week! aujpoj.com. #journeyofjerandauj #emberjean” We’ll be excited to see those! Every nursery set-up is a little different. It’s only been a little over two weeks since we first saw Ember Jean’s face .  Or since we first saw it closely, anyway. But now we just can’t get enough of her cute little self. We can’t wait to watch her develop a personality of her own and grow up as the first Roloff granddaughter. Oh, and here’s a photo of this little cutie in a classic photo pose for fathers and newborn babies. Precious beyond words! You know, as much as we love the name “Ember,” something occurred to us just the other day. Is Ember going to hear the singsong phrase “liar liar, pants on fire” at some point her life and have a sudden epiphany? Because “Ember Jean” is, well, a name that could be translated to mean “fire pants.” If you had a character in a short story who lies a lot, an editor would tell you that you shouldn’t name them “Ember Jean.” We know that Audrey and Jeremy have been agonizing over how to raise their baby as she gets older, so we imagine that they’ll come up with some ways to prepare her for some name-based teasing. (Kids can be cruel, even if they don’t mean anything cruel by it, you know?) Javi Marroquin Prepares For "Emotional" Trip With Kailyn Lowry

There might not be a more complicated relationship in the entire reality TV landscape than the one between Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin. As fans of Teen Mom 2 are well aware, Kailyn and Javi have been divorced for quite some time. However, due to the fact that they not only have a child together, but also share a number of professional commitments, they’re still very much in one another’s lives. For most divorce couples, that probably sounds like hell on earth, but Kail and Javi don’t seem to mind the arrangement. In fact, they recently doubled-down by collaborating on a yet another project together. Last week,  Lowry and Marroquin announced a book deal with a unique twist. Each of them penned a separate memoir offering their version of what led them to divorce, with the idea that the books would be released on the same day. Now, Javi is opening up for the first time about the origins of the unique project. “Out of respect for Kail, I wanted her to read it and she needed to read it,” he told Radar Online in a recent interview . “She wasn’t happy with what was in it. We were figuring out a way to compromise. It came down to, why don’t you just write your own book? Leave my book alone. You do your thing and I write my book.” Javi says that from there, it became clear that the only fair way for both parties to tell their stories was to publish two separate books. “People are going to believe what they want to believe,” Marroquin said. “As she writes and I find out what she’s putting in there, more things pop into my head. I’m like, ‘Okay, if you’re going to go there, I’m going to go here.’” Following photos of Javi and Kailyn kissing in public , rumors of a reconciliation began circulating on social media last week. But Javi says it was a purely platonic moment, and he and Kailyn are committed to maintaining amicable co-parenting and collaborating relationships. In fact, the former couple is soon to embark on a book tour together, and while Javi is aware they may be some emotional moments, he says he and Kail are committed to keeping their relationship professional. “We try not to get emotions involved and just kind of realize the past is the past,” he said. “Emotions get involved so quickly because it was so heavy for both of us. We find ourselves arguing over something that happened such a long time ago. The Voice Recap: Steals Galore!

With the Blind Auditions out of the way, the hopefuls went to war with each other to secure their spot at the next stage of the competition, and it paved the way for some emotional scenes.  Rascal Flatts advised Blake Shelton, Kelly Rowland joined Jennifer Hudson, Joe Jonas partnered with Adam Levine and Bill Ray Cyrus joined forces with Miley Cyrus.  Lucas Holliday vs. Megan McNeal – “My Prerogative”  Jennifer stressed that it was vital for them to focus on their own performance as opposed to worrying that the other was getting all the attention.  Despite positive comments for both contestants, Jennifer sent Megan home and kept Lucas around until the next stage of the competition. When the pair were put together, Lucas was the clear winner.  Moriah Formica vs. Shilo Gold – American Woman Miley implied that this was a terrible choice for her, but when you think about it, Moriah completely owned the stage during the battle. Shilo was decent, but no match for Moriah.  Moriah went on to win the vote of Miley, sending Shilo packing.  Keisha Renee vs. Noah Mac – “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry” This one was more of a tough choice. Both singers put so much effort into ensuring they would secure a victory, and they even took a lot of feedback from the coaches into consideration.  That’s the best thing you ask for of a participant during one of these shows. Unfortunately for Noah, Blake thought Keisha pulled it off better.  Chris Weaver defeated Kathrina Feigh  – “Dangerous Woman.” In rehearsals, Chris got an early lead on Kathrina, and you could tell Kelly thought so. It was almost like everyone had agreed Chris was advancing and Kelly’s fate was up in the air.  When it came to the actual performance, Kathrina sounded like she was whimpering throughout, while Chris turned in a solid performance. Jennifer kept Chris around, but it was not the end of the road for Kathrina.  Blake swooped in to give her a shot on his team. We’re not quite sure it was a wise idea, but time will tell whether it will come back to bite him.  Brooke Simpson vs. Sophia Bollman – “You’re a Big Girl Now” Both Brooke and Sophia brought a lot to the table, so you can only imagine our surprise that one of them got through and the other was sent home.  The performance was rock-solid, and the two squared off against each another with class. Miley kept Brooke around, but nobody thought it was a good idea to steal Sophia.  What a shame.  Adam Pearce vs. Whitney Fenimore- “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around” What do you get when you put two of the most promising singers together? One of the biggest disappointments of the season. Both of them appeared as early frontrunners, but putting them together was just wrong.  There was nothing about their voices together that really worked. Adam scraped a win by the skin of his teeth, and Whitney was stolen by Miley.  We are so glad she’s getting a second chance.  With the Battle Rounds in full swing, it should be fun to find out who goes next.  The Voice continues Tuesday night on NBC! Kailyn Lowry Slams Jenelle Evans’ Threat to Quit: Yeah, Right!

Teen Mom 2  might be about to lose one of its most controversial stars, as  Jenelle Evans has threatened to quit . The Carolina Hurricane claims that MTV is making her and her husband look bad. Who better to weigh in on that than one of Jenelle's costars? In the video below, you'll see Kailyn Lowry share  exactly  what she thinks of that. And she gets in a nice burn about Jenelle in the process. The Jenelle Evans rant that prompted all of this was Jenelle going on Instagram to threaten to quit  Teen Mom 2 . “Yes, me and David have our ups and downs but yesterday’s episode was uncalled for.” We know that this will  shock  you, folks, but Jenelle's about to get super defensive about David Eason. “Because David didn’t feel like explaining another argument or drama on camera they make it look as if David is hiding some weird ass s–t from the public as if he was hurting me in some way?!” She needs to be aware that MTV can only edit so much — that fans are concerned about David Eason for a whole host of reasons? “I have decided after this season I’m probably calling it quits for filming this show.” That's quite a threat. “I told Morgan it’s getting to out of hand and it’s not healthy for us anymore, just harming us mentally.” Oh, is  that  what's wrong? All jokes aside, Jenelle Evans had issues before MTV ever came into her life. “They treat all of us as if we are in a freak show and in cages.” Right … it's a reality show. Except that she's not in a cage and is, in fact, getting paid. Pretty generously, as we understand it. “WE aren’t human beings to @mtv what-so-ever. The first screenshot of the custody episode someone posted photoshopping a hand mark on my arm. The other screenshots are pictures I’ve taken myself from the same episode… and there aren’t any hand marks.” Jenelle really didn't make it clear whether she was accusing MTV of that or just a random fan. But then Jenelle makes it sound like she's serious about threatening to leave … and describes the way that MTV can win her back. “Once they treat me with respect I’ll be back, if they don’t I’ll be happy with the life I’ve got. I told them this last night.” It sure sounds like Jenelle is just trying to get them to sanitize her life, right? Because even though reality shows are told through the lens of editing, you can only take things out or maybe take a few things out of context. (Taking too many things out of context would make the story incoherent) Try as they might, we don't see MTV's editors being able to add things in to  Teen Mom 2 . Considering that  David Eason makes Jenelle's own mother worried  for Jenelle and for Jenelle's children, it looks like there's more than editing behind the way that fans are viewing their relationship. But … either Jenelle doesn't see it, or she just doesn't  want  to see it. I the video below, Kailyn is asked about Jenelle's threat to quit. Kailyn starts her answer as diplomatically as she can. “I think we all feel differently.” Sure.  But  … “I have to disagree with her statement about MTV.” We'd imagine so. “As far as I can see it, you wouldn't have stuck with the show for 8 years if that were the case.” That's a very good point. Maybe Jenelle's just huffing and puffing because she wants to defend David Eason's honor, or whatever. “I'll leave that there.” She almost did. But remember that burn that we mentioned? When asked if she thinks that Jenelle should stay or go, Kailyn replied with this: “I don't care what Jenelle does.” Ouch. We do have to point out that there's one thing that's different now than it was for most of Jenelle's time on  Teen Mom 2 : David Eason. If he's really as controlling as they say, maybe he's the one who's encouraging Jenelle to quit Teen Mom 2. It's hard to see why he, or anyone, would want to close up the cash flow of  that sweet  Teen Mom  money . But maybe he wants the cameras off. That's a chilling thought. What's worse is that Jenelle might give him what he wants.

Noah Brown Confirms Engagement to Rhain Alisha!

Move over, Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas . You aren’t the only famous couple that got engaged over the weekend. Okay, maybe you are. But this doesn’t change the fact that Alaskan Bush People star Noah Brown has confirmed he’s set to marry Rhain Alisha. He alerted fans to this news via a touching Facebook post that reads as follows: Rhain Alisha has been so patient and supporting through everything that has been happening, my mothers cancer, having to leave Alaska, my car keeps breaking down, and all in all I have been thinking of how thankful I am that she moved in with we instead of going back to Oregon and now we are engaged and planing our life together. Rhain Alisha is everything I could have ever wanted. She is my Soulmate my Angel my DreamGirl. She makes me the best Version of myself, I know that as long as she loves me that some day I can be the man that Rhain deserves. Thank you God for giving me Rhain Alisha Merrill. Brown included with these kinds words the picture of Rhain (birth name: Ruth) below: Brown is a cast member on Alaskan Bush People, but he’s been criticized of late by his fans for essentially abandoning his family during their greatest time of need . Some supporters have taken issue with Brown because he’s been sharing social media images of himself and Rhain taking trips to the zoo and other places… … all while his mother, Ami, is dying of lung cancer. Is this a fair critique? We’re really not in a position to say. It’s true that Noah has not said much publicly about his mother’s illness, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he isn’t heartbroken over it. (It’s also true, incredibly, that Noah has a sister named Rain and is now engaged to someone named Rhain. What are the odds?!?) As far as we know, Ami Brown is now out of the hospital. This is positive news, of course. But most outlets still say the family matriarch is pretty much on her death bed . She has stage four lung cancer and it isn’t operable. There isn’t much doctors can do at this point. We continue to send our thoughts and prayers to the Browns, while also wishing Noah the best on his engagement. Jinger Duggar: Using Birth Control Against Family’s Wishes?

Back in November of 2016, Jinger Duggar married Jeremy Vuolo  in one of the lavish, massively attended ceremonies her family has become known for. From the first kiss shared in front of 1,500 guests to the TLC camera crew capturing every moment, the entire wedding was in keeping with Duggar tradition. Everything that’s come after the “I do’s,” however, has broken the mold. Shortly after the wedding, Jinger and Jeremy moved to Laredo, Texas , thus making her the first of the Duggar girls to permanently relocate outside of Arkansas. In a well-publicized display of sartorial rebellion, Jinger also began wearing pants , thus becoming the first of her generation to flout her parents’ famously strict dress code. But the most salient act of defiance on Jinger’s part is her decision to live a life that flies in the face of the central tenet of the Duggars’ ideology. If you follow the family closely, you know that the Duggars teach their children from a young age that a woman’s primary purpose in life is to have as many children as possible. As a result of that lifelong indoctrination, most Duggar women announce their first pregnancies within a few months of tying the knot. Recently, a new record was set when 19-year-old Joy-Anna Duggar revealed that she got pregnant on her honeymoon within days of marrying Austin Forsyth. So it comes as quite a surprise to fans that almost one full year after getting married, Jinger is still not expecting. Countless Jinger pregnancy rumors have circulated online, but thus far, they’ve all proven bogus. But, of course, that hasn’t been enough to bring an end to the constant scrutiny surrounding Jinger’s uterus. Fan theories abound as to why Jinger and Jeremy have yet to procreate, and now, according to In Touch , many Duggar aficionados are speculating that Jinger might be using birth control . Obviously, in most situations, a young, newly-married woman using birth control wouldn’t be considered remotely unusual. But Jinger is a Duggar, and her parents have made their feelings about contraception clear on numerous occasions. The most memorable, perhaps, is the now-deleted anti-birth control screed that Michelle and Jim Bob’s published on their personal website. Jinger’s parents explained: “As conservative Christians, we believe every life is sacred, even the life of the unborn. Due to our lack of knowledge, we destroyed the precious life of our unborn child.” “We prayed and studied the Bible and found a host of references that told us God considered children a gift, a blessing, and a reward.” “Yet we had considered having another child an inconvenience during that busy time in our lives, and we had taken steps to prevent it from happening.” Obviously, Jinger Duggar’s parents would consider it a personal affront if were revealed that the daughter has been using birth control. That doesn’t mean she is, however. Naturally, there are several reasons why Jinger and Jeremy may be holding off on having children, and not all of them are scandalous. It’s unusual, however, that she hasn’t gotten pregnant yet – that’s simply a fact, based on the track record of all of her married siblings. Everything that’s come after the “I do’s,” however, has broken the mold. Shortly after the wedding, Jinger and Jeremy moved to Laredo, Texas , thus making her the first of the Duggar girls to permanently relocate outside of Arkansas. In a well-publicized display of sartorial rebellion, Jinger also began wearing pants , thus becoming the first of her generation to flout her parents’ famously strict dress code. But the most salient act of defiance on Jinger’s part is her decision to live a life that flies in the face of the central tenet of the Duggars’ ideology. If you follow the family closely, you know that the Duggars teach their children from a young age that a woman’s primary purpose in life is to have as many children as possible. As a result of that lifelong indoctrination, most Duggar women announce their first pregnancies within a few months of tying the knot. Recently, a new record was set when 19-year-old Joy-Anna Duggar revealed that she got pregnant on her honeymoon within days of marrying Austin Forsyth. So it comes as quite a surprise to fans that almost one full year after getting married, Jinger is still not expecting. Countless Jinger pregnancy rumors have circulated online, but thus far, they’ve all proven bogus. But, of course, that hasn’t been enough to bring an end to the constant scrutiny surrounding Jinger’s uterus. Fan theories abound as to why Jinger and Jeremy have yet to procreate, and now, according to In Touch , many Duggar aficionados are speculating that Jinger might be using birth control . Obviously, in most situations, a young, newly-married woman using birth control wouldn’t be considered remotely unusual. But Jinger is a Duggar, and her parents have made their feelings about contraception clear on numerous occasions. The most memorable, perhaps, is the now-deleted anti-birth control screed that Michelle and Jim Bob’s published on their personal website. Jinger’s parents explained: “As conservative Christians, we believe every life is sacred, even the life of the unborn. Due to our lack of knowledge, we destroyed the precious life of our unborn child.” “We prayed and studied the Bible and found a host of references that told us God considered children a gift, a blessing, and a reward.” “Yet we had considered having another child an inconvenience during that busy time in our lives, and we had taken steps to prevent it from happening.” Obviously, Jinger Duggar’s parents would consider it a personal affront if were revealed that the daughter has been using birth control. That doesn’t mean she is, however. Naturally, there are several reasons why Jinger and Jeremy may be holding off on having children, and not all of them are scandalous. It’s unusual, however, that she hasn’t gotten pregnant yet – that’s simply a fact, based on the track record of all of her married siblings.
