Mariah Carey to Bryan Tanaka: Marry Me NOW!

Dating is one thing, but is Mariah Carey really ready to get married to boytoy dancer Bryan Tanaka? Reportedly, she’s not only ready to tie the knot but actively pressuring him to propose. “Bryan’s eating out of her palm again now and Mariah’s desperate to seal the deal before they get sabotaged again,” an insider claims. The report that  Mariah is pressuring Bryan  comes from RadarOnline and their source. We’d really rather hear it directly from Mariah … though obviously she’d never just come out and say that. It’s not a casual Katy Perry diss, after all. Not everyone’s onboard with their relationship, either. “So many people from both their circles have tried to keep them apart, but she’s convinced they have what it takes to last the course,” the source says. Well, all sides being against the union sounds like a tragic romance. Not always the best set-up when there are children in the mix. Even the anonymous insider cautioned that Mariah’s feelings aren’t set in stone: “Obviously, her feelings change like the wind each day, but to be fair Bryan has a hold over her that no other guy’s had for a long time.” Yes, even the unidentified tipster has doubts. Again, it’s usually healthy to view things coming from “a source” with a grain of salt. But this isn’t the least believable story in the world. Bryan was her backup dancer back in 2006, so they’ve known each other for eleven years. That is a long-ass time to know someone, even just as friends. And, um, they’re clearly more than that. Before we get ahead of ourselves, we do need to think a little about context. Mariah’s breakup with billionaire James Packer was, well, reportedly because of all kinds of things, from allegations of cheating with Bryan Tanaka to extravagant spending habits. The spending thing sounds pretty realistic to us — financial disagreements are a very common, if not terribly salacious, reason for breakups. But if she was spending too much for James’ liking, how is she going to go from being a sugar baby to a sugar momma? Well, as much of a sugar baby as Mariah could have been since she’s worth half a billion — and as much of a sugar baby as Bryan can be if he’s worth around a million. It’s all relative, apparently. Still, it doesn’t seem like it’s the best next step for her to take in a relationship. Maybe she isn’t thinking with her head right now. Hopefully, she’ll make the best decision for herself and her children. You don’t want to get married based on thirst alone. Not when you’re nearly fifty. And super not when you have kids. Kylie Jenner Strips Down to Promote Lip Kit, Torture Tyga

It’s been almost three months since Kylie Jenner and Tyga broke up  for the 47th and final time, and it seems that Kylizzle is having no trouble leaving her Z-list ex in the past. According to various sources, Kylie is dating Travis Scott these days and the couple is reportedly moving at breakneck speed. But Kylie is still a member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, which means she’s comprised of roughly 85-90% pettiness. So when the opportunity to remind an ex of what he’s missing out on arises, you better believe Kylie’s gonna take it. That’s a photo from Kylie’s latest ad campaign for her famous, eponymous lip kits . Words fail us at times like these, so we’ll simply quote America’s current poet laureate Kendrick Lamar, who once remarked, “Damn.” Racy Kylie Jenner selfies are pretty much a daily occurrence on Instagram, but this is some next-level sh-t. Not only is a lot of skin even by Kylie standards, what we’re looking at her is no mere selfie. For starters, it’s the work of a professional photographer, which means a lot more thought went into than the typical ‘Gram post. On top of that, it’s intended to promote Kylie’s lip kits, and we can’t help but notice that lips aren’t really the focal point here. The whole thing has led many fans to the conclusion that the photo was inspired more by a desire to torture T-Raww than a need to promote Kylie’s already wildly popular cosmetics. Kylie emulates her older sisters in many ways, and she’s likely learned a lot by Kourtney Kardashians subtle acts of revenge against Scott Disick. After years of being used, neglected, and manipulated by the Lord, Kourtney decided to launch psychological warfare with unusually risque selfies as her only weapon. Which means Scott loses and the rest of the world wins. So is Kylie taking a page from her older sister’s playbook here? We may never know. All we can do is hope she sticks with this tactic. Iskra Lawrence is More Irresistible than Ever: LOOK!

Iskra Lawrence is an absolutely stunning plus-size model, and she’s taken to Instagram to share the recipe for her favorite breakfast. Complete with a photo of it, and her, of course. You’ll have to tear your eyes off of her gorgeous form to actually see the food, by the way. For the millionth time, it’s so weird to us that our society categorizes Iskra Lawrence as “plus-size.” Not because she’s beautiful, because women of all sizes are beautiful, but because she doesn’t seem that “plus.” At all. Models have a weird assumed default size, basically. That’s another great look, to be sure, but maybe Kendall Jenner with her hot pics  should be categorized as “minus-size.” Just something to think about. Anyway, Iskra is a total sweetheart and didn’t just heartlessly show off her food in a modern day Torment of Tantalus. In her instagram captions, she shared the entire recipe: -fry or poach an egg -toast two pieces of sourdough bread (“use whatever bread you’d like that’s just my fave”) -instead of butter etc she uses coconut oil -then mash up a whole or half an avocado (depending on how hungry she is) -squeeze some 1/4 lime or lemon juice into the avocado -spread it on top of the toast and sprinkle salt and pepper and pine nuts -when she has tomatoes she likes to cut up a few and add those Just to clarify, the photo shows that the egg goes on top of the avocado spread. Admittedly, it’s a little elaborate, especially for breakfast. Who actually has time to sit down and eat breakfast every morning? How did people not run out of time when they were, like, nine? But if you do have time, this looks amazing. Not the tomatoes part, of course — we love ourselves — but the rest. The tomatoes were almost an afterthought anyway. All of the joy of eating guacamole without the sudden realization that you’ve devoured two bags of chips and one of your fingers. Obviously, Iskra’s  heartless for promoting this — doesn’t she know that Millennials will never own homes if they keep eating avocado on toast? We joke, of course, since we apparently have more basic math skills than a certain Australian millionaire. But in all seriousness, that sounds absolutely delicious, and we’ll have to try it … with a few modifications for taste. Would anyone else totally watch an Iskra Lawrence cooking show? Chris Cornell: Toxicology Report Reveals Singer’s Cause of Death

It’s been two weeks since the music world was stunned by the sudden death of Chris Cornell , the pioneering singer/songwriter whose inimitable vocal stylings helped Soundgarden and Audioslave rise to the top of the charts. Just hours after his body was found, medical examiners in Wayne County, Michigan ruled  Cornell’s death a suicide . Cornell’s widow, Vicky Karayiannis, and others close to the musician expressed doubts about the coroner’s findings. Karayiannis maintained that drugs played a role in Cornell’s death , a theory that shocked fans, as the singer had been sober for nearly 15 years prior to hsi passing. Nevertheless, Karyiannis issued a statement expressing her belief that the results of a pending toxicology report would corroborate her beliefs. Today, TMZ obtained the results of that report , and it seems that Karayiannis was correct in her assertion that Cornell was under the influence at the time of his passing. The coroner who examined Cornell’s body confirmed that the following drugs were found in his system: Naloxone (Narcan), Butalbital (sedative), Lorazepam (Ativan), Pseudoephedrine (decongestant), and unspecified barbiturates. Witnesses claimed to have seen puncture marks on Cornell’s arms, but it appears those were the result of Narcan injections made by paramedics in an effort to save the 52-year-old’s life. Shortly after her husband’s death, Karayiannis stated that she knew Cornell was intoxicated just from speaking with him on the phone. She asked the singer’s bodyguard, who was staying in the same Detroit hotel, to check on Cornell, but tragically, it was too late. An apparently drug-addled Cornell had hung himself in his room with an exercise belt. Karayiannis issued the following statement in response to today’s findings: “Many of us who know Chris well, noticed that he wasn’t himself during his final hours and that something was very off. We have learned from this report that several substances were found in his system.  “After so many years of sobriety, this moment of terrible judgment seems to have completely impaired and altered his state of mind. “Something clearly went terribly wrong and my children and I are heartbroken and are devastated that this moment can never be taken back.” She concluded: “We very much appreciate all of the love we have received during this extremely difficult time and are dedicated to helping others in preventing this type of tragedy.” Our thoughts go out to Cornell’s widow and children during this tremendously difficult time. Summer is a time for barbecues, sun tanning and… … television viewing? In this day and age, YES! As you're about to find out, there are plenty of strong shows about to air that we strongly recommend you tune in for… 1. Big Brother Big Brother 19 premieres June 28 on CBS, and we are already imagining the twists and turns as deals are broken between the multitude of houseguests. 2. Vanderpump Rules: Jax and Brittany Take Kentucky Ever wanted to watch Jax tell Brittany to get him a sandwich on a weekly basis? Bravo sure seems to think so and the first Vanderpump Rules spin-off will debut later this summer. 3. Nashville Nashville faces the impossible when it returns for the second half of Season 5: Continue telling the stories of the characters in the wake of losing Connie Britton’s Rayna. Don’t worry, Rachel Bilson and Kaitlin Doubleday are tapped to appear in the upcoming episodes. 4. Fear the Walking Dead This spin-off of The Walking Dead returns June 4, and something tells us this will be the season it pops and turns into something worth watching. Who are we kidding? It will be the same old show, but we’ll watch it. It’s not like there are a lot of other options this summer. 5. Queen of the South USA Network’s addictive mob drama, Queen of the South returns for Season 2 on June 8. 6. Orange is the New Black The ladies of Litchfield will return June 9 on Netflix. Jill & Jessa Duggar: Look at Izzy & Baby Henry! Don’t Worry About Josh Duggar!

Those of us without Hulu who can’t watch The Handmaid’s Tale can always keep up with the Duggars. It’s basically the same. Aside from things like scandals, the usual reality show drama, and questions about the Duggar family’s finances , the Duggars are known for having kids. That’s kind of their whole thing. And while their fringe cultural stuff and the way that they separate themselves from the world make plenty of people uncomfortable — heck, the sheer number of children make people uncomfortable — you kinda have to admit that they produce some cute kids. That’s two-year-old Israel, Jill and Derick Dillard’s cutie, snuggling with his baby cousin, Henry. Henry, of course, is Jessa and Ben Seewald’s baby. And yes, he is adorable. Israel’s going to be a big brother, so this shameless photo-op is also a good sign that he’s excited at the prospect. Everybody outside of restaurants and airplanes loves babies, right? But it’s especially important for older siblings to feel that hype. Now, Henry’s a pretty run-of-the-mill name, almost surprisingly so for this family. Israel’s a little more on-brand for Duggar names, but it’s not totally unheard of. The abbreviation of his name to “Izzy” in a family that places so much emphasis on specific gender roles is kind of a surprise. For that lot, it’s downright progressive. Neither of those names can hold a candle to Spurgeon, Henry’s one-year-old brother. There’s no telling how many people have betting pools going for how old he’ll be before he changes his name. Like these kids weren’t going to have a hard enough time growing up in a fertility cult in front of millions of viewers. Cute kids are fine and well, but we have to remember that this family still has its issues. Take, gasp , Jinger’s controversial wearing of pants . Like some kind of harlot. You know, because she’s a girl, and if people know that girls have actual legs they’ll turn to stone or fly into lustful frenzies. Or something. That kind of thinking was considered dated back in the 1930s, and it is now 2017, no matter how hard the Duggar family drags its heels. Then of course there’s the ominous news of Josh Duggar appearing on Counting On , because the sexual predator who got that family’s first show canceled totally needs more screen time. We’re all supposed to look at some cute kids and pretend that Josh’s creepy actions have magically gone away? What’s worse, his family seemed to think that his predatory past wasn’t as big of an issue as the Josh Duggar cheating scandal or even using pornography. Just because this family seems eager to forgive and forget in exchange for more lucrative reality television contracts doesn’t mean that the rest of are going to. Amanda Stanton: Returning to Bachelor in Paradise!

If you don’t find love first, or second time, try again.  That appears to be the mantra Amanda Stanton is sticking to since it has been confirmed that she will be returning for Season 4 of Bachelor in Paradise .  You may be scratching your head because, well, she found love last summer on the hit ABC reality series. However, things have changed since she was loved up with Josh Murray.  For a start, the two of them have been apart for a few months now, and the current state of their relationship seems friendly. That is If you consider Josh getting the police involved to get a car back he purchased for Amanda.  They’re on the outs, and that’s probably part of the reason why the reality TV star is making another go at love on ABC.  With Bachelor Nation couples dropping like flies, there may be some surprising cast members on the next season of the frothy Summer series.  If you were hoping for Josh to stage an encore to the series, then you can keep on hoping. A source told Us Weekly that he has no intention of appearing on the series.  However, there’s no telling what these reality TV stars would do if they were offered the right amount of zeros on a check.  Amanda has been vocal in the past about what went wrong with the relationship, and it sure sounds like it was all down to the luxurious dates in front of the cameras coming to an end.  “When we were on the show, it felt like I had met the love of my life,” she told Us. “It’s really hard, I think, to move on from that. I think we’re both having a hard time moving on.” “There’s a lot of things and situations in the real world you don’t experience while you’re there [in Paradise],” she added. Wouldn’t it be hilarious if Ben Higgins was on the show and we got to see them get together? The Bachelorette: Will First Impression Rose Win Streak Continue!?

The Bachelorette’s streak of First Impression Rose winners from the premiere going on to win the show remarkably stands at … well, two. But those are the only two to do it! Will this season’s lucky fella make it a threepeat? ( The Bachelorette spoilers have a lot to say on that, but we’ll keep you in suspense.) For a time, this first rose of a new season was more like a kiss of death than a harbinger of success, as its recipients never went anywhere.  That’s changed quite a lot since 2014. Nick Viall came close, winning Andi Dorfman’s First Impression Rose in Season 10 before coming oh-so-close to winning the finale. The next season, Shawn Booth became the first recipient of the inaugural rose to capture the final one, as well, from Kaitlyn Bristowe. (Also defeating Nick on the finale.) This had never been accomplished before, someone going wire to wire like that, but last summer, recent history repeated itself. Jordan Rodgers, a consensus frontrunner throughout the journey, garnered the first and last roses on JoJo Fletcher’s season. Can Rachel Lindsay make it three in a row? Or more accurately, can Bryan Abasolo, who caught her eye on last Monday’s premiere? Booth, who remains engaged to Bristowe two summers after their on-air engagement, says he wouldn’t bet on that outcome. “The guy that got the first impression rose … I’m willing to bet a lot of money that he will not be the winner of the season,” he predicted. “Jordan [Rodgers] got the first impression rose on JoJo Fletcher’s season, I got the first impression rose the season before.” “We both went on to ‘win.’ Do you think that there’s any chance that the producers will let that happen again? There’s no way.” Really? There’s no way the show’s producers would allow Rachel Lindsay’s free will to follow through if she found love at first sight? Seems a little extreme. If you feel a connection right away, there’s probably a reason for that. It might not last … but it also might last! It’s unclear why Shawn seems to think producers wouldn’t permit this, especially for a stand-up guy like Bryan Abasolo seems to be. If this were Lucas a.k.a. Whaboom, or DeMario Jackson , that would be one thing, but Bryan could well be who Rachel Lindsay picks .   Not that he’s a lock. “I like that guy from Wisconsin … Peter,” says Booth, referring to Peter Kraus, who really stood out from the competition this week. “He was great,” added Bristowe. “That’s because they played the romantic music when he came out, so all of a sudden we’re brainwashed.” On their podcast, Kaitlyn and Shawn admit that watching their love story unfold on TV was awkward … but they love seeing other people’s! Picking and choosing this season’s contenders and pretenders and trying to predict who will win The Bachelorette like we do is just fun. Which category does Lucas fit in? “Whaboom is so happy we’re talking about him,” says Kait. “He is so happy the world is talking about him.” “I feel like that’s why he went there.” “He’s selling t-shirts,” says Booth. “I’ll buy one,” Bristowe adds. They may be onto something there. Going on reality TV for the exposure and a chance to make a living, rather than to find true love? Who would’ve guessed. Prince William Gives Rare Interview, Opens Up About Mother’s Death

We’re approaching the 20th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death. On August 31, 1997, the beloved Royal icon was killed in a car accident after a high-speed chase with a paparazzo who was in full pursuit. It was a true tragedy, one that caused the world to stop, collectively mourn and react in sheer shock and sadness. Diana, of course, left behind two sons, both of whom have grown into widely-respected, very handsome and charitable adults. But neither has spoken out very much about the most painful experience of their lives; both Prince Harry and Prince William have remained relatively quiet about the fatal incident. Until now. Giving an unusually rare and raw interview with British GQ, the Duke of Cambridge is featured in a lengthy cover story this month. He sits down with Alastair Campbell for the July issue of the magazine and talks openly about this impending anniversary… what it’s been like without his mother today for himself and his loved ones… and how he’s managed his grief in the public eye. “I am in a better place about it than I have been for a long time,” Prince William tells the publication of the horrible accident. He goes on to explain that he is now capable of talking “about her more openly [and] more honestly and I can remember her better, and publicly talk about her better.” The father of two (a three-year old named Charlotte and a two-year old named George), William adds: “It has taken me almost twenty years to get to that stage. I still find it difficult now because at the time it was so raw.” The hardest part, explains the Prince, is the fact that his mother has never met his wife or his children. “I would like to have had her advice,” he says, adding painfully. “I would love her to have met Catherine and to have seen the children grow up. It makes me sad that she won’t, that they will never know her.” The 34-year-old – who took time to honor the Manchester bombing victims last week – went on to note that unlike some people, his grief almost seem magnified due to the public nature of his unique position in British society. “It is not like most people’s grief, because everyone else knows about it, everyone knows the story, everyone knows her. “It is a different situation for most people who lose someone they love, it can be hidden away or they can choose if they want to share their story.” But William has clearly grown into a responsible, intelligent, benevolent adult. He’s a husband and a father and, by all accounts, a very good man. “I could not do my job without the stability of the family. Stability at home is so important to me,” he says. “I want to bring up my children in a happy, stable, secure world and that is so important to both of us as parents.
