13 Reasons Why: Officially Renewed for Season Two!

Boy, do we have some great news for all the people who fell in love with Netflix’s hit series, 13 Reasons Why. Oh, and we also have great news for all the people who fell in love with bashing the hell out of the show . Netflix just announced that 13 Reasons Why is officially getting a second season, set to air sometime next year. The announcement didn’t reveal any additional details, so all we’re left with is a whole bunch of confusion. Because seriously, how are they going to pull a second season out of this story? If you haven’t seen the show yet, either because you’re not interested in seeing graphic suicide and rape scenes or because you’re just not interested period, there’s actually a lot of possibilities for season two. For instance, while Hannah Baker, the girl who killed herself and left behind the titular 13 Reasons Why, pretty much had her story all wrapped up, the other characters didn’t. At the end of the first season, one character tried to shoot himself in the head. We saw him being rushed to the hospital in an ambulance. Last we heard, the character was in critical condition, so that’s quite the loose end. Another character was preparing for a school shooting, which would provide plenty of material for the story. We could see Hannah get justice for all the things that happened to her, or we could see more of her parents’ side of the story. It’s hard to say what will happen at this point, but before the news of the renewal broke, one of the show’s writers dropped a big hint about what could happen next. It sounds like even though Hannah killed herself before the first season even began, the character will almost definitely be a big part of the next season. “One of the things that is a fundamental element of our show is the weaving of past and the present,” the writer, Brian Yorkey, explained . “Hannah’s story is still very much not finished. She’s an integral part of whatever the next chapter of the story is, and she’s very much still at the center of it.” While many people are excited about the return of the Selena Gomez-produced series , many people are not. “THE SHOW WAS CALLED 13 REASONS WHY SHE ALREADY TOLD US THE REASONS WHAT IS THE POINT OF SEASON 2,” one particularly passionate person tweeted in response to the news. Another joked “13 Reasons Why There Really Shouldn’t Be Another Season of This — written and directed by me coming to Netflix early 2018.” Others have argued that having a second season, especially featuring Hannah, lessens the impact of her death — the character killed herself, there’s no coming back. Brooke Wehr: Jeremy Calvert is DISGUSTING!

Brooke Wehr has officially had it with Jeremy Calvert. And honestly, it’s been a long time coming. They started dating in 2015, and though they had well over a year of happiness (we’re assuming, anyway), things started to go south for them back in January. That was when they broke up for the first time . At the time, we didn’t have a clear reason for the split, just a series of memes about letting go, shared by Brooke. They got back together shortly after, then broke up again a month later — this time because Brooke accused Jeremy of cheating on her with multiple women. One being a Teen Mom 2 producer . The scandal! Things were quiet between them for a couple of months, but the feud began again when Brooke accused Jeremy of not only cheating on her with the producer and countless other random ladies, but also of cheating on her with her best friend . She even shared a screen shot of a text message conversation between Jeremy and the best friend as proof. Right around the same time — was it related? Who knows. — Jeremy spent some time with Leah Messer at a club, sparking rumors that the two of them were getting back together . The result was that Teen Mom fans lost their minds with all the Jeremy Calvert gossip, and so he felt the need to record a video of himself in an attempt to set the record straight. And that was the wrong choice . Jeremy Calvert Goes on Insane Drunken Rant, Talks Leah Messer Rumors He said horrible things in the video, really just a bunch of reprehensible comments. Do yourself a favor and watch the whole thing, it’s worth it. But one of the points he attempted to make in his drunken stupor was that yes, he did sleep with Brooke’s best friend, but he only did it because Brooke slept with some other guy first. Or, as he put it, Brooke was “f-cking his brains out, every day,” and he was single, so “my dick was happy to do whatever the f-ck it wanted to do, and it did.” Can you imagine being Brooke and hearing your former fiance talk about you like that? And what’s more, can you imagine being her and having to deal with the cold, hard fact that you almost married a guy like Jeremy? It’s almost too much to bear. And that’s why she got on Instagram and shared a meme to express her feelings. The meme read “My reaction when I hear that someone’s been talking about me,” complete with a photo of a man laughing hysterically. In her caption, Brooke wrote “Find something better to say already, rather than making up everything under the sun about me to try to make yourself feel/look better.” For good measure, she added the hashtags “delusional,” “you’re the problem, not me,” “what’s done is done,” “your loss,” and “I’m gone.” One of her followers told her that Jeremy was just making himself look bad with that idiotic rant, and she agreed, writing “Exactly!!! He’s literally disgusting!!!” And, well, she’s not wrong. If Jeremy managed to have any fans left after all the rest of his nonsense — racist comments , rude comments, all the bad comments — then surely he doesn’t have any now. Keep running, Brooke. DaddyOFive Parents Lose Custody of Kids After Horrifying Prank Videos Go Viral

Are you familiar with the DaddyOFive Youtube account and all of the insane drama surrounding it? If not, then sit back and prepare to be infuriated. DaddyOFive is a YouTube account belonging to Mike and Heather Martin, a Maryland couple who enjoys pranking their five children. Which sounds fine, right? Some good old-fashioned family fun , readily available for us to enjoy. But if you watch the videos — Mike’s deleted them all from his account, but other users have reposted them — you’ll see that the kids are not having fun. Far from it. For an example of the kind of people we’re talking about here, check out this video in which Heather decides to “prank” nine-year-old Cody by spilling disappearing ink all over some carpet. The idea is that she’ll blame Cody for the spill, freak him out a little, then reveal that it’s all a joke. But the execution … it’s actually pretty hard to watch. DaddyOFive Parents Prank Kids with Disappearing Ink She and Mike scream and curse at poor Cody and one of their other sons for four straight minutes, so much that the boys are left hysterical before learning that it was all meant to be a joke. Pretty twisted joke, really. In other videos, Mike destroys Cody’s X-Box with a sledgehammer as the boy cries, he pushes Cody down, and he follows Cody around with a camera as the poor little boy screams and begs him to leave him alone. In recent weeks, people have started paying a lot of attention to the family, even going so far as to create an online petition urging Maryland authorities to investigate Mike and Heather for child abuse. When the controversy first began, the Martins shrugged it off, making a since-deleted video about it all in which Mike said “This is how we run our house. This is our family.” Heather added that they’ve already been investigated for child abuse because of their YouTube channel, but nothing came of it. But once they saw that the outrage wasn’t going away, they changed their tune a bit, releasing a tearful public apology for their behavior. “This has been the absolute worst week of our life,” Heather says in the video, “and we realized that we have made some terrible parenting decisions.” It’s a little alarming that they made all these videos, that they were able to laugh as their kids screamed and cried, and that they’re just now realizing how terrible they are, but OK. They explained that when their videos started getting views, they decided to get crazier and crazier with their pranks to get more and more viewers. And though they seem to regret the things they’ve done to the kids (or at least like they’re willing to admit they’re wrong to save face), it’s too little, too late. On Friday, Rose Hall, the biological mother of Cody and 12-year-old Emma, received emergency custody of the two children. “They’re doing good,” Rose, who lost custody of the kids in 2014 after Mike and Heather allegedly forged her signature on some custody paperwork, said in a statement. “They’re getting back to their playful selves.” She added that it’s “very heartbreaking and disturbing to see my kids abused.” It’s unclear at this point how long she’ll keep custody, but the Martins are currently being investigated for any possible crimes related to their videos. Here’s hoping that, whatever way it happens, they’ll actually learn how completely and unforgivably horrible they’ve been to those poor, poor children. Because while some men look disheveled and unprofessional while rocking a beard and/or a mustache, these men manage to look more distinguished and dapper. Don't you agree? (Yes, it does help that they are exceptional human specimens to begin with, we acknowledge this.) 1. Bradley Cooper Unlike many men, Bradley Cooper looks more put together and somehow better groomed when he does have a beard and mustache. 2. Gerard Butler That first guy? It finally happened on The Real Housewives of Atlanta this week : Following weeks of questions, rumors and speculation, the cast gathered for part three of their annual reunion special and Porsha Williams at last revealed who told her Kandi Burruss and her husband said they tried to drug and take advantage of her. (Yes, this was an actual storyline on the show this season.) To stunned gasps and screams, Porsha pointed the finger at Phaedra Parks. She said her fellow reality star was the one who leveled such allegations against Kandi and Todd. Appearing afterward on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, NeNe Leakes immediately responded to this revelation. Although she said the idea of Parks as a wannabe snitch who stirs up trouble was anything but a revelation in her experience. “Phaedra been doing this bullshit for a very long time,” Leakes said, on full tilt. “Phaedra did the exact same thing to me, as we already discussed before, years ago on the show when she first came on. She tried to take me down and it didn't work. “Phaedra's been doing stuff like this, she just got caught.” Later on, the verbal war against Parks was ratcheted yp when a guest asked Leakes to name the “shadiest” Real Housewife from Atlanta. She didn't need much time to arrive at an answer. “Clearly it must be Phaedra,” Leakes said, adding: “I think Phaedra a person… that has a way of wanting to be seen one way, but she does all these things behind camera. She's always been that way, this is not anything new. “It may be new to you guys, but for us who work with her, we've always known her to be that person.” In other words: Parks is a fake. Kailyn Lowry Plans Post-Pregnancy Plastic Surgery: What Will She Have Done Now?

If you watch Teen Mom 2 online , then by now you’re probably already aware that Kailyn Lowry is pregnant. Of course, her third pregnancy has been featured on the show yet, but fans have turned it into their own social media soap opera that now overshadows the events of last season. Most of the online scrutiny has to do with the identity of Kailyn’s baby daddy . Fan theories range from the plausible (It’s probably Chris Lopez.) to the sublimely ridiculous. (There’s a rumor that Kailyn is pregnant by rapper Peter Gunz .) But today there’s a new Kailyn rumor making the rounds, and for once, it has nothing to do with the question of who knocked her up. According to Radar Online, L owry already has a plastic surgery session scheduled for after she gives birth. News of the appointment comes from Dr. Michael Salzhauer, aka Dr. Miami, the same surgeon who performed Kailyn’s Brazilian butt lift  back in January of 2016. “Kailyn is scheduling to have plastic surgery with me after she has this baby,” Salzhauer tells Radar. Citing doctor-patient confidentiality (which he already kinda blew by talking about the appointment at all), Salzhauer refused to go into specifics with regard to what procedures Kailyn is planning to undergo. But tellingly, he did spend a lot of time talking about the relationship between  “There is a myth that you can only have a tummy tuck once you are done having kids,” he spilled. “But it’s not really true. You can have a tummy tuck after your first kid and if you get pregnant you can have another one. The body is amazingly elastic.” So there you have it. We think it’s safe to say Kailyn will be undergoing a tummy tuck following her third pregnancy. Obviously, she’s not alone, as the majority of the stars of the Teen Mom franchise have had some sort of work done over the years. Try watching old seasons of the shows and doing a shot every time you notice a major and unnatural change in one of the girls’ appearance. Actually, don’t do that. Roseanne: The Classic Sitcom is Finally Getting a Revival!!!

It’s been a good few years for TV revivals, huh? Netflix has brought back shows like Arrested Development and Full House, as well as the limited run of Gilmore Girls, and various television networks are reviving The X-Files , Twin Peaks, and Will & Grace. Considering all that, it’s easy to look back at some of the best TV shows of yesteryear and think about which ones deserve another shot, you know? And few shows could use another go-round as much as Roseanne. Roseanne, the blue collar sitcom created by legendary comedian Roseanne Barr, ran for nine seasons, from 1988 to 1997. It was full of great moments, great actors … all in all, it really was a wonderful show. And that’s why, joy of all joys, a revival is in the works ! The new series will last for eight episodes, with Roseanne and Sara Gilbert, who played Roseanne’s daughter Darlene, signed on as executive producers. Roseanne, Sara, and John Goodman are the only actors signed onto the project so far, with other stars like Laurie Metcalf and Johnny Galecki still in negotiations. Right now there’s no official deal, but networks like ABC and Netflix are bidding on the rights to the revival. It’s all so exciting, right? And honestly, it’s a little confusing, too. For one, John Goodman is returning, but — spoiler alert — his character died in the series finale. Or, well, actually he died in the season 8 finale, but in the series finale Roseanne revealed that the entire final season had been a figment of her imagination, which went into overdrive as she mourned the loss of her husband. She also explained that several elements of the series weren’t actually true: her sister, Jackie, was a lesbian, and her daughters had really ended up with each other’s spouses. See what we mean about it being confusing? To add another element of confusion, in a 2009 blog post, Roseanne gave an update on where she felt the characters would be today. In the post, she said that the Roseanne character, along with Jackie, opened up Landford, Illinois’ first medical marijuana dispensary, saving the house from foreclosure (remember, they never won the lottery). She wrote that “David leaves Darlene for a woman half his age,” then “Darlene meets a woman and they have a test tube baby,” which doesn’t take into account that in the finale she said that David actually ended up with Becky. (And also David would never .) Becky “works at Walmart,” and Mark “dies in Iraq,” which is especially tragic since the actor that played Mark, Glenn Quinn, died from a heroin overdose in 2002. DJ “gets published,” and Dan, who supposedly died of a heart attack at Darlene’s wedding? He “shows up alive after faking his death.” It would be bizarre if the revival followed this storyline, but Roseanne is the show’s creator, and it would explain how John Goodman is signed on to return. But really, whatever happens, we’re definitely looking forward to a return of Roseanne. Especially if it somehow eases the pain and confusion of that last season. Aaron Hernandez: High on Drugs at Time of Suicide?

It’s been one week since former New England Patriots tight end and convicted murderer Aaron Hernandez was found dead in his cell at Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center in Lancaster, Massachusetts. While certain key questions about Hernandez’s suicide have been answered by the ensuing investigation, many more have arisen. Most of those questions concern Hernandez’s mindset in the moments before he decided to hang himself hang himself with a bed sheet. Curiously, the suicide happened just days after Hernandez was acquitted on double murder charges. He was already serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole at the time of the verdict, but there was hope amongst Hernandez’s attorneys that the acquittal would improve his chances of being found not guilty on appeal. Much of the speculation about Hernandez’s final days has centered around his alleged prison love affair with Kyle Kennedy , a fellow inmate at Souza-Baranowski. Sources say Hernandez was devastated when his request to share a cell with Kennedy was denied, and in his already-fragile emotional state, the news was more than he could take. Now, a new factor in the 27-year-old’s tragic decision may have emerged thanks to a Newsweek report that claims Hernandez was high on synthetic marijuana at the time of his death. According to the report, medical investigators found evidence of the drug known as K2 in Hernandez’s system during a kidney fluid screen. It may seem unlikely that marijuana would cause someone to take their own life, but in many cases, synthetic substitutes are marijuana in name only. It’s also been speculated that Hernandez may have experienced highly unusual reactions to THC and other drugs due to the presence of CTE or other brain injuries incurred on the playing field. At one point, his attorneys planned to argue in court that past violent incidents had been prompted by Hernandez’s marijuana use.  Officials suspect that a liquid version of K2 was smuggled into the prison by an associate of Hernandez’s. An investigation has been launched into how the contraband wound up in his cell. Prison authorities say the drug is notoriously difficult to intercept, as such a small amount is needed to get high that it can be sent undetected through the mail. Officials may never found out how the drug ended up in Hernandez’s possession or whether it played a role in his decision to commit suicide, but the fact that he was under the influence is just one more strange detail in an increasingly macabre case.
