Caitlyn Jenner: I Nearly Killed Myself…

Caitlyn Jenner opened up about the most personal of topics as a guest on HBO’s Any Given Wednesday this week. As previously detailed, the transgender star spoke to host Bill Simmons about why she’s a Republican , which is something very personal to Jenner. But it’s not what we’re talking about here. Instead, we’re talking about the time Caitlyn Jenner considered killing herself. Remember back when Jenner had operation on her Adam’s apple? That marked the first time rumors of a sex change really ran rampant on the Internet. In her interview with Simmons, Caitlyn says that was a body part that she “always hated,” and that a paparazzi photograph of Jenner as she was exiting the doctor’s office nearly prompted her to end her life. “I could not sleep that night. I’m up at 3 a.m. walking up and down my hallway, thinking, ‘Damn, all this s–t is going to come out tomorrow and it’s going to be horrible,” she said. “And I said, ‘You know what? Easy way. Go in the other room. You got a gun. Let’s just end it right here.'” Caitlyn Jenner: My Life is So Simple Now! What, exactly, was going through her mind at the time? “No more pain, no more nothing. I don’t have to deal with the tabloids any longer. I don’t have to deal with any of this. And that was probably the lowest I’ve ever gotten.” So, what changed since then? Why is she doing so well these days? The very next morning, Jenner went for a walk. By herself. All alone, except for her thoughts. And they went something like this: “Wasn’t that, like, the stupidest thing you’ve ever done?. I thought, ‘What a terrible way to end your life’s story!’ I don’t want my story to end that way, on a negative note.” This marked a turning point for her, Caitlyn says. Ever since coming out as transgender in April of 2015, Jenner says the past year and a half have been the “best” months of her life. “I have never been happier, more at ease with myself,” she told Simmons. “I got my mojo back.” In the video above, Caitlyn explains how a trip to Las Vegas is far less stressful now than it used to be; all because of… a suitcase? Jon Gosselin: Not On Speaking Terms With Twins Maddie and Cara

Someone send Jon Gosselin on an Eat Pray Love retreat. The former TLC star and unofficial Ed Hardy model hasn’t been in the best place since his 2008 divorce from Kate Gosselin. A month ago, one could have said that Jon was doing pretty well as an employee with his local T.G.I Friday’s.  Alas, TMZ ruined everything by outing him, a move that made Jon so furious that he quit. To make matters worse, Jon donated his weekly check to charity (this was confirmed by the restaurant manager). Jon is allowed to feel a little bitter. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight , Jon revealed what his life is like these days as a single dad . He doesn’t see his kids much, which might affect him more than he lets on. “Everybody used to come to my house,” Jon said of his eight kids – twins Maddie, Cara, and sextuplets Alexis, Hanna, Leah, Joel, Aaden and Colin. “You know, it was great, and then Madelyn and Cara just stopped coming, around 12-13 [years old]. I didn’t question it. I was just like, ‘Hey, do what you want, be with your friends’ and then it just became they’re not coming.” The number of Gosselin visitors then dwindled to six. “I was just focusing on the ones that did come and then a couple years went by and then Collin stopped coming. I thought, maybe he just wants to do stuff with Mommy or whatever, and then it became long term.” In fact, Colin and his dad haven’t seen each other in two years.   The last time Jon saw all eight children at once was three or four years ago. Jon told ET that he hasn’t seen all eight of his children in one place in three or four years.    “The kids that I do get are Hannah, Leah, Joel and Aaden. I guess the four have stuck together and said, ‘We’re going to Daddy’s and that’s it.’ And maybe they’ll raise a stink about it or something like that. “Sometimes I get Alexis but not often.” As for his first-born daughters, Jon admitted that they’re not on speaking terms right now. The fractured relationship Jon has with many of his children may stem from the non-existent one he has with Kate. We have our life with our kids separately. We don’t go anywhere together.” Jon decided to leave reality TV to work odd jobs in between his DJ gigs. You know, I kind of walked away from everything so that my kids can have a life,” he said. “So that they would be taken care of, in their house, and things wouldn’t change, because I knew I could survive.” On July 26th, Jon issued a threat to the media via Twitter about protecting his family’s privacy. “In the future, don’t tag me in posts with my ex,” he tweeted. “It’s uncalled for and causes drama. Kris Jenner Injured in Car Crash: Is She Okay?!?

Kris Jenner has been involved in a serious car accident. According to TMZ, which broke the story, Jenner was driving her white Rolls-Royce on the 101 Freeway on Wednesday afternoon when she collided with a Prius. The force of the impact was so strong that it deployed Jenner’s airbag and destroyed the front end of her expensive vehicle. An insider close to the Kardashians tells TMZ that the Prius ran a red light, although law enforcement officials have not revealed the cause of the accident just yet. One source supposedly in the know tells the site, however, that Kris was driving on a surface street when the Prius cut in front of her, attempting to get onto the 101. This is what created the collision. Jenner, who bought the Rolls Royce just a week ago, was treated on the scene by paramedics. She may have suffered a broken wrist. We can’t blame her. It sounds like it was pretty scary. The only family member thus far who has commented on the situation is Kylie Jenner , who Tweeted a response to to a concerned fan who asked about the ordeal. “I was not involved in the accident. Everything’s okay,” Kylie wrote. In February of 2015, Kris’ famous ex-husband, Bruce Jenner (now Caitlyn, of course), was also involved a very serious car crash. It actually left one woman dead and seven injured . We often make a lot of fun of Kris Jenner because… well, she deserves it. She typically seems more concerned with her bank account than with her children’s well-being. But we certainly never wish any kind of physical harm on any of the Kardashians or Jenners. We hope Kris recovers fully and recovers quickly.

Ariel Winter Celebrates Harry Potter’s Birthday By Casting Boob Spell on Instagram

Well, she may not have gone to Hogwarts, but Ariel Winter has definitely mastered the ginormous mammarius spell. The Modern Family actress posted the above pic to celebrate the 36th birthday of the Boy Who Lived himself, Harry Potter. If you’re one of those Millennials who totes thought of Potter as your bestie growing up, and you’re confused by the fact that he’s several years older than you are, don’t worry; there’s an explanation. You see, J.K. Rowling set the main action of the story a few years ahead of when the books were published, a fact she hinted at with minor Muggle period details, like Dudley’s videogame console. Anyway, we really feel like we lost sight of what we should be focusing on here which is, of course, Ariel Winter’s boobs . Is this her most revealing pic to date? Far from it.  Ariel’s bikini pics are the stuff of Internet legend, and by the standards she’s been setting lately, this is actually pretty tame. In fact, ever since Ariel became single again , her posts have been even more on point than usual. And judging by the comments she’s as popular with the ladies as she is with the fellas. “How do you get your boobs to look great in everything!?! I need to know your secrets!!! Please!” wrote one user. We think we know the answer to that, @eeeegiiap: Magic! Seriously, though, it’s good to know that Ariel is a fantasy nerd. If she ever decides to get into the celebrity sex tape game maybe she could use some sort of Game of Thrones reference for the title. Javi Marroquin Shares Staged Photo, Gushes Over Kids

Javi Marroquin may or may not have cheated on Kailyn Lowry with her best friend . And Javi Marroquin may or may not now be trolling for dates on Twitter . But Javi Marroquin is definitely happy to see his kids. The Teen Mom 2 star returned home from his deployment in the Air Force last month, walking in the door at one point and being greeted by his six-year old stepson, Isaac, and his two-year old biological son, Lincoln. Marroquin shared a photo of the reunion on Instagram and included with it a very sweet caption that reads: “My world in one picture.” Of course, the scene would be a tad more sentimental if we couldn’t so obviously see the MTV cameraman in the foreground, filming this supposedly spontaneous meeting. The staged set-up doesn’t make Isaac, holding a “Welcome Home” sign, any less adorable. Nor does it make Lincoln and his big smile any less precious. But when you know you’ll be able to watch Teen Mom 2 online next season and see this scenario play out, well… that takes away at least a little bit of the emotion. It feels more like a scripted moment than a true moment of parental joy. After several roller coaster months, Lowry and Marroquin finally confirmed their plans to divorce in May. Since then, Marroquin has been accused of stepping out on Lowry in multiple occasions, prompting the couple’s eventual split. Lowry, meanwhile, has been suspected of having a same-sex relationship with a woman actually named Becky Hayter . We’re not sure what to believe, except that this is all very hard on the two most important people involved here: Issac and Lincoln. Lowry shares custody of Isaac with her ex, Jo Rivera, who also appears on the hit MTV docuseries. But Marroquin has grown very close to the toddler. “[Isaac’s] my best friend,” Javi said during the June 20 reunion episode of Teen Mom 2, adding at the time that he wants “all of us to be together” and blaming Lowry’s stubbornness for their divorce. Although Lowry still contends she plans to dissolve the couple’s nearly four-year marriage, the 24-year old did welcome her estranged husband back home via a sweet message via social media. “Welcome back! @javim9,” she wrote on Instagram yesterday. Anton Yelchin: Parents to Sue Automaker Over Actor’s Death

On the morning of June 19,  Anton Yelchin was found dead outside his home in Studio City, California. The 27-year-old – best known for his work in the blockbuster Star Trek reboot – was killed in what’s been described as a “freak accident.” The actor’s 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee rolled backwards in his driveway and pinned the actor against a security gate. Yelchin’s autopsy indicated that he died almost instantly.  Just days after the tragedy, a class action suit was filed against Fiat Chrysler claiming that the Cherokee had a faulty gear shift that made drivers think the car is in park when it’s actually in neutral. Now, Yelchin’s parents have filed their own lawsuit against carmaker under the belief that the company’s failure to recall the vehicle directly resulted in their son’s death. View Slideshow: Anton Yelchin: A Career in Pictures According to TMZ, the Yelchins are also suing the AutoNation car retail chain , which is presumably where Anton purchased the car. An attorney for the couple would not specify the amount the Yelchins are seeking in damages, but did confirm that they’re suing “for the wrongful death of their son due to significant defects.” Considering the high-profile nature of the case and the fact that the manufacturing defect in the Cherokee has been well-documented, the company will likely seek to settle out of court. In addition to his work as Chekov in the three most recent  Star Trek films (including the one that’s currently in theaters), Yelchin had built up an impressive and greatly varied body of work for someone so young. As at home in indie films as he was in big-budget studio tentpoles, Yelchin gained the attention of critics in such beloved films as Alpha Dog , Charlie Bartlett and Green Room . Celebrities from all forms of media expressed their condolences on social media in the days following his passing. Antonio Armstrong, Former NFL Linebacker, Killed by Son

An unspeakable tragedy has struck the world of professional sports. Antonio Armstrong, a former linebacker for the Miami Dolphins was shot and killed along with his wife in Houston, Texas. Police have confirmed that the main suspect in the crime is the couple’s 16-year old son. The young man’s name has not been released to the public due to his age, he has been charged with murder as a juvenile and is being questioned by authorities. According to a local NBC affiliate, the 42-year old Armstrong and his wife, Dawn, were found at approximately 2 a.m. after police responded to a 911 call. Dawn was pronounced dead at the scene of the crime. The ex-NFL player was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital and listed in critical condition… but later passed away from a gunshot wound to the head. The couple’s two other kids were at home at the time of the incident, but were unharmed. Those familiar with the family are attempting to come to grips with how this could have happened. “This was an outstanding family. The male of the family was an absolute hard-working breadwinner,” local homicide lnvestigator Jimmy Dodson said, via KPRC. “He was an associate pastor in the area church. He’s a great guy. The mother was apparently a great mother, according to family members. “Like I said, it was kind of the all-American family.” Investigators who searched the southwest Houston residence discovered a still-smoking gun with a note next to it that reads “I’ve been watching you.” Police then arrested the 16-year-old boy. “There was nothing left out. There was no neglect or anything. There was nothing that even could possibly have justified this situation,” Dawn Armstrong’s cousin, Vaun Lee, told reporters. “This doesn’t even make sense. It makes no sense.” Prior to turning professional, Armstrong was a college football star at Texas A&M, where he played for the Aggies from 1991 to 1994. The university released the following message on Twitter soon after the horrible news broke: Armstrong was named first-team Associated Press All-America linebacker in 1994 and was drafted in the sixth round of the 1995 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers. He was released that October after suffering an ankle injury and signed with the Dolphins, with whom he recorded four solo tackles his room season. “Antonio was a special young man. He was an All-American and an outstanding player, but he was an even better person,” his former head coach at A&M, R.C. Slocum, said in a statement. “He was such a positive influence on his teammates. He always had a great big smile and was a joy to coach.” The Dolphins said via statement that they were “saddened by the tragic” deaths, adding: “Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends during this difficult time.” A GoFundMe page, meanwhile, has been created to help the family in the aftermath of the shooting; thus far, it has raised over $53,000. “Let’s rally around this family and show them how much we loved Dawn and Antonio, and that we will miss them and their big hearts dearly,” the page reads. Joyce Beatty Trolls Melania Trump at Democratic National Convention

We’re starting to feel a little bad for Melania Trump. The third wife of Donald Trump has found herself under a critical spotlight over the past several days following a controversial Republican National Convention speech. It focused on important topics such as family values and the life lessons parents ought to teach their children. But it also, admittedly, plagiarized passages from Michelle Obama’s speech at the 2008 Democratic National Convention.  Then, Trump removed her official website from the Internet after questions arose over a college degree she claimed to have earned in Slovenia… despite there being no proof that this actually took place. On Thursday night, meanwhile, a heretofore unknown Congresswoman from Ohio used the DNC stage to throw a bit of shade at Melania Trump. Once folks got over the whole stealing-from-Michelle-Obama thing, they turned their focus to the dress Trump donned during her speech. So much so that the $2,190 off-white Roksanda “Margot” ensemble sold out less than an hour after Trump appeared on television last week. Fast forward to last night and Rep. Beatty (D-Ohio) coming out on stage at the Wells Fargo Arena, apparently proving to the world that she was one of the lucky few people to get her hands on the outfit. Talk about a subtle, slick way to troll Trump, huh? Beatty wouldn’t come right out and admit she was sending Melania a message, however. She blamed the entire thing on her husband, telling WCMH that he had bought the dress and told her to wear it. “Now it’s blowing up all over the nation that it’s the same as Mrs. Trump’s, but I don’t know,” she said. She does, however, know how she feels about Donald Trump. During her remarks, Beatty called him “the most divisive and ill-prepared candidate we’ve seen in modern times.”

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom: Oh, It’s On, Alright!

For the better part of a year now, we’ve all known that Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are dating . But despite the fact that they’ve made it ” Instagram official ” by posting pics of one another, there’s been no real confirmation from the couple themselves. That kinda, sorta changed last night after one of the biggest moments of Katy’s life. As you’ve no doubt heard by now,  Katy appeared at the Democratic National Convention last night. And before bringing the crowd to its feet with a couple of her signature tunes, Katy gave a stirring speech that touched on her own past and her pride in being a part of the historic evening: Katy Perry Roars, Rises at Democratic National Convention Naturally, as the most popular person on Twitter, Katy received a lot of praise on social media after she left the stage. One follower praised the line, “It’s not where you come from, but what you grow into.” Katy subtweeted, “Lando put that one in,” followed by a heart Emoji. Wow. Lots to unpack in so few words. For starters, it’s awesome that Katy rejects the more populat “Orly” nickname in afvor of the Star Wars-esque “Lando.” More importantly, however – they’re like definitely a real couple now, right? Nicknames, heart Emojis, collaborating on a speech for the DNC!!! This is not the stuff of casual f–k buddies. These two are serious, and Lando picked a great time to couple up with KP. She’s officially winning the war against Taylor Swift , and if the prognosticators are correct, Katy will have a powerful ally in the White House come November’s inauguration. Of course, she’s always had some awe-inspiring girls on her side:
