Babies have a way of making things a bit bitter. Today, Kristin Cavallari posted a photo of daughter Saylor James Cutler’s little feetsies with the caption, “My little angel, Saylor. She has been my light throughout this whole thing and has given me so much strength. “Thank you baby girl for coming when u did.” Kristin wrote days after her older brother, Michael was found dead in Utah. Authorities found the 30-year-old’s remains in the desert in a “steep and very rocky” place, three miles from his abandoned Honda. The cause of death was determined to be exposure to the elements and hypothermia, since temperatures in that location dropped to the teens. “My heart is in a million pieces Mikey, I could always count on you to make me laugh,” Kristin wrote on social media in memory of Michael. “You had such a good heart and will be forever missed. I’m at a loss for words but I know u are in a better place and finally at peace. I love u so much RIP.” Saylor James was born on November 23rd; her father is Chicago Bears quarterback, Jay Cutler. The couple also have two sons – Camden, 2, and Jaxon, 19 months.
One Direction has said goodbye where group members first said hello. Over the weekend, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan performed on the finale of The X-Factor, which is the same show on which Simon Cowell first discovered the quarter of British hunks. At the time, of course, it was a quintet of British hunks, but Zayn Malik left One Direction back in March. Soon afterward, One Direction stunned fans upon announcing that it would go on hiatus for 2016 and, very likely 2017 as well. So that made their renditions on The X-Factor of Made in the A.M. tracks “History” and “Infinity” a tad bittersweet, as they marked the final times Harry and company would be performing live for… … well, for who knows how long. Afterward, the artist jumped on social media and sent messages of gratitude to their fans. Tweeted Style: “To you, you have changed our lives and no words will ever be good enough to thank you for what we have done together.” And Payne: “Honestly thank you so much to everyone look at all the amazing things we have done together like wtf man.” And Horan: “5 of the best years of our lives so far.. Thank you all so much for your incredible support .I hope you guys realise what you've done for us.” And Tomlinson: “I hope you realise what we have all done together really is incredible. You guys have made us what we are today! We'll be back soon enough!” One Direction swears this is just a break, not a break up . But then why does it hurt so bad?!?
Unless you just emerged from the Sarlacc Pit, you probably know that we're less than a week away from the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens . You might also be aware that the franchise has been known to inspire just a smidge of obsessive devotion from fans, which means the Internet has been a breeding ground for wild speculation about the new film ever since the first trailer debuted last year. Some of the theories are totally plausible. (It's entirely possible, for example that Luke Skywalker has been left out of the film's marketing campaign because J.J. Abrams and company don't want to reveal that he's gone to the Dark Side.) Others are wackier than the Mos Eisley Cantina at last call on singles' night. We've assembled a decent mix here, but we've mostly focused on the weird ones, because, c'mon…you're so close to the big day, you don't really want to be hit with any spoilers now , do you? Finn is the Son of Lando Calrissian…and Princess Leia No one’s quite sure how the theory that John Boyega’s character is the son of Lando Calrissian and Princess, excuse us…GENERAL Leia, but you can blame J.J. Abrams for fanning the flames on this one. Asked about Finn’s lineage in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the director responded, “I will only say about that that it is completely intentional that their last names aren’t public record.” Hmm…could be something to this one. 2. Luke Skywalker is Kylo Ren The latest trailers show Kylo Ren pledging to his allegiance to Darth Vader’s battered helmet. Luke isn’t seen in any of the trailers and he Is Vader’s son, so…eh, we’re not buying it. 3. Boba Fett is Back! Die hard fans have noticed that the first trailer features a banner with a Mandalorian insignia. The franchise’s most badass bounty hunter just happens to hail from Mandalore. Of course, even if he shows up, he probably end up not doing jack squat again. 4. You Can Watch The First Two Minutes Online! Some fans believe that a completed cut of the first two minutes of the film has leaked online. The fact that there’s a typo in the iconic text crawl leads us to believe they’re mistaken. 5. Han Solo Dies! This one’s not actually all that ridiculous. We could easily imagine Han going out in some noble fashion. After all, we can’t imagine Harrison Ford signing on for endless sequels. It would be tragic, but less horrific than if… 6. Chewbacca Dies! The first trailer showed a grieving Rey in the same frame as a tuft of hair. Is it Chewie?! Could be! In a new photo posted to her Instagram account, Kylie Jenner has gotten into the Christmas spirit by showing off her legs, showing off a Santa hat and showing off… Michael Buble? Well, okay then! The 18-year old reality star was randomly featured Thursday night during the opening segment of Buble’s Christmas in Hollywood special, which aired on NBC. At the outset of the program, Buble stumbled across Kylie while touring the Universal Studios backlot and snapped the following selfie with the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star: Jenner then shared the first picture posted above in promotion of the special, encouraging her millions (and millions!) of Instagram followers to tune in for it. You can see Kylie Jenner’s scar in that same first photo, which Jenner recently explained is a result of an incident when she was five years old. So… here's the bad news: The Vampire Diaries is not only on hiatus, but The Vampire Diaries Season 7 Episode 10 will not air until January 29, 2016. Yes, that's a Friday. The Vampire Diaries is moving to Fridays and that doesn't give us a lot of hope that will see the show on The CW's 2016-2017 schedule. But that's a concern for a later date. Because here's the good news: We're at least very interested in seeing what happens when the show does return, considering it left off with both Damon and Stefan felled by Julian's magic sword. Both are now trapped in the Phoenix Stone, reliving their personal nightmares over and over and over again. Will they wake up? Yes, according to the following trailer, many months later. Will they be the same? Will they have a grasp on reality? Will they go a tad bit insane? No, no and yes, also according to the following trailer. It's been an odd year for Ben Affleck. Following a messy separation from Jennifer Garner , the Oscar-winning actor-director found himself at the center of a tabloid media firestorm. After months of rumors that Affleck and Garner were back together , the A-list couple appears to have finally moved on, or at lest Ben has… Some call it a midlife crisis; others say it's just a case of a newly single guy enjoying his freedom, but whatever the case, Ben has been living la vida YOLO all over Hollywood lately. Not only does it appear that Affleck is dating Sienna Miller , it also looks like he recently went under the needle for some seriously elaborate skin art. Yes, the Batfleck has back tatt and looks like he's not shy about showing it off. Insiders say the ink is new, and it has symbolic importance for Ben. Apparently, it's a massive Phoenix which represents…Ben rising from the ashes of his marriage? We're not exactly sure, but it's fitting in several different ways. After all, this is the guy who went on to direct a Best Picture winner after starring in Gigli, so he knows a thing or two about shaking the rubble off his wings. Of course, considering Ben is 43 and not 23, he'll probably take some flak for getting a HUGE tattoo to mark a transition in his life, but hey – the man has two gold guys on his mantel, and he's freakin' Batman. The story of Safyre Terry is both heartbreaking and hopeful at the same time. Terry is only eight years old. She has severe burn scars on over 75% of her body. She lives without a right hand and left foot. In 2013, she lost her father, her mother and two brothers when her family’s apartment burned down as a result of arson. She now lives with Liz Dodler, her aunt and legal guardian, in Rotterdam, New York. That’s the heartbreaking part. But here’s the hopeful part to the story: Earlier this month, Dodler gifted Terry with a Christmas card holder. Shortly thereafter, a family friend shared a photo of Terry (above) standing alongside the holder and wrote the following message along with the picture: I wonder how many of my friends would take the time to write and send Safyre a Merry Christmas card that she can hang on her card tree…. The message went viral and Safyre now has more Christmas cards in her possession than she ever dreamed possible. “I really think I am dehydrated from crying so much … This is absolutely amazing, it takes my breath away,” Dolder wrote on Facebook yesterday in response to the outpouring of support. “We, my family and I have been through so much darkness of this world. Then to see the most powerful BEAUTY of the world. The world coming together to make Safyre’s wish come true is unfathomable. “All along we knew God saved her for a reason, never in ours wild dreams, did we think she would move the hearts of many worldwide.” According to TMZ, meanwhile, Safyre is a huge Katy Perry fan. She even sang “Roar” as part of a school talent show. And she would love nothing more than to receive a Christmas card from Perry to add to her growing collection, which includes cards from such celebrities as Hulk Hogan and Yolanda Foster . “Safyre lost everything – her father, her mother, her brothers, her home, her favorite toy, her favorite outfit – everything that was familiar to her,” Dolder told Today. “She even lost the one thing we all take for granted – her reflection. On Sunday, Jill & Jessa: Counting On will premiere on TLC, and lots of folks are not too happy about it. Jill & Jessa: Counting On Trailer The controversial family’s return to television has resulted in Duggar boycott groups springing up all over social media, and now it appears their campaign is beginning to have an impact. A Facebook group called #NoMoreDuggars: Contacting Sponsors has been…well, contacting current and potential sponsors to encourage them to pull their support from Jill and Jessa’s three-part series. The group claims that 928 advertisers have already vowed not to put their money behind any of the Duggars’ future TV efforts, including the forthcoming Counting On. Obviously, most of the anger directed toward the family is the result of the Josh Duggar sex scandals that caused the Duggars to be removed from television in the first place. Though they initially defended their brother’s actions and their family’s handling of the situation Jill and Jessa have been critical of Josh in recent weeks. However, many feel the sisters latest comments are simply part of an effort to win over disillusioned former fans. TLC is only committed to airing three episodes of Counting On, but from the start, the network has hinted that if the show is a hit with fans, we can expect more specials featuring Jill and Jessa, and possibly even a full series. As you may have heard the first episode Kate Plus 8 Season 4 premiered on Tuesday night. Watch Kate Plus 8 Season 4 Episode 1 Online Of course, there’s a good chance that you didn’t hear, because the show returned after a long hiatus with very little fanfare – which may help explain why Kate and company received their lowest ratings to date. According to Radar Online the Kate Plus 8 season premiere was watched by just 955,000 viewers . That’s less than half of the show’s audience from last season. “It’s the same old story,” one production insider told Radar. “The past is played out and there are too many other things going on in the world.” Another insider blamed Kate with a much more succinct explanation: “She’s just not very likeable.” “Not very likeable” is putting it mildly, of course. In recently released excerpts from a tell-all entitled Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled the World , Kate admits to physically abusing her children in shocking diary entries unearthed by author Robert Hoffman. Viewers were first drawn to the Gosselins as a family that struggled in a relatable fashion, but also seemed bound together by tremendous love for one another. Jon and Kate’s divorce and the years of bad press that followed have soured that impression to the point that the public’s interest in Kate these days is mainly limited to unfavorable tabloid impressions. Producers have promised a glimpse into Kate’s dating life in upcoming episodes, but if that doesn’t draw in viewers, Gosselin may suffer the embarrassment of a midseason cancelation.
