Earlier today, we shared some highlights from Rihanna’s new Vanity Fair interview. As always, the 27-year-old Barbadian songstress had plenty of surprising things to say. For starters, she hates casual sex (not something we would’ve guessed from RiRi’s Instagram page ), and she’s completely forgiven Chris Brown. But the most quote from her remarkably candid profile involved Rihanna’s thoughts on Rachel Dolezal. You may remember Dolezal as the NAACP leader who pretended to be black and got busted on live TV back in June. “I think she was a bit of a hero, because she kind of flipped on society a little bit,” Rih sayd when asked about Dolezal. “Is it such a horrible thing that she pretended to be black? Black is a great thing, and I think she legit changed people’s perspective a bit and woke people up.” Maybe she’s right, and Dolezal helped to spark a national conversation about race. Of course, she’s been all but completely forgotten about just a few months after her ordeal, so whatever impact she had seems to have been short-lived. In any event, Dolezal misled hundreds, if not thousands of people and took opportunities away from much more deserving individuals, so the word “hero” might be a bit strong. Anyway, RiRi wouldn’t be RiRi if she wasn’t stirring up controversy. We can’t wait to hear her thoughts on Donald Trump.

Kylie Jenner has managed to keep her clothes on for a new Instagram photo. And yet is still may be the most inappropriate Kylie Jenner picture we’ve seen on that social media account yet. Just like her half-sisters before her , Kylie has gone ahead and joined the waist training craze, shilling online for an utterly ridiculous product that has no benefits whatsoever. “around my house before I go out wearing none other than @premadonna87 @waistgangsociety,” Jenner wrote as a caption to this image, adding: “I love how easy these are. If you are looking to get a snatched waist or a little help with your posture go to whatsawaist.com.” And this is where we feel the need to interject and explain that a waist trainer does absolutely nothing. You will not lose any weight with it. You will simply lose money out of your bank account by paying for a useless apparatus. Considering all the different ways in which members of this family can (and do!) rake in the dough, it remains baffling and disappointing that they continue to set such a poor example by advertising for this corset. Keeping Up with the Kardashians fans are finally getting to see Kourtney Kardashian’s reaction to the scandal that ended things with Scott Disick. It was not a pretty scene, but the 36-year-old mother of three says she’s grateful for our reaction to the trailers and promos airing on E! She then penned a sincere tweet to her 16 million followers, writing that the fan support has meant so much in the wake of the breakup: “Reading your tweets and I need you guys to know how truly touched I am by your love. I love you guys. You help me more than you know.” In early July, Disick was caught canoodling with Chloe Bartoli ; Kourtney kicked him out of their house and ended their nine-year romance. Watching a grown woman cry about her terrible partner is a sobering experience regardless of the circumstances, even for a reality star. As you may have heard, Matt Damon's The Martian crushed it at the box office this week, becoming one of the biggest October releases in Hollywood history. So we expected some parodies to begin popping up immediately. We didn't, however, expect them to involve Kim Kardashian's famous butt . Kim' cameo in this Ellen sketch is brief, but it involves butt stuff, so obviously it's funny. Note the way a very pregnant Kim tries and fails to conceal her growing baby bump with a lab coat. The woman featured in this video is really not having a very good day at all. Selena Gomez is suffering from emotional issues and anxiety attacks, and has been self-medicating with a dangerous combination of substances. According to a tabloid new report, anyway … Gomez was open about her emotional issues and anxiety struggles, which she claims were a reason – or the reason – behind her last trip to rehab. With the star jet-setting around the globe doing interviews and appearances, and now her world tour announcement , there’s no rest for the weary. All of the exposure she’s been getting – and no, we don’t mean the Selena Gomez nude kind of exposure – has come at a heavy price, insiders say. The stress, chaos and fatigue have triggered severe anxiety attacks, and she’s been self-medicating with things that are far from “Good For You.” [Virtual high-five to us on that one, right?!] “Selena’s panic attacks are crippling on some days,” says a source close to the struggling 23-year-old. “It’s worse than ever before.” “They start with heart palpitations and they escalate to where her whole body goes rigid. She usually just crawls into a ball and hyperventilates.” Wow. And not over Bieber this time, either. Sometimes it feels like she’s alright, the insider adds. On the flip side, other times, the all-consuming panic attacks feel inevitable, “it will happen every day for more than two weeks straight.” Yikes. And the problems don’t end there. Selena has reportedly been prescribed Klonopin and Ativin for her anxiety attacks, on top of the drugs she takes for her Lupus. Combined with alcohol, that can be a deadly mixture, and her family and friends reportedly fear she is headed down a dark road. Says one concerned source close to her: “She is careening towards rock bottom again. We are talking about having an intervention because Selena needs a reality check, and help fast.” The only cure? Start having sex with Justin Bieber again. That should clear her mind in the short term … or possibly make things 100 times worse. Either way, it’s worth a shot.
