Holly Madison no longer talks to Hugh Hefner anymore, but she sure is spilling the beans about him in her new memoir Down the Rabbit Hole . According to Holly, he opened up since their breakup, too – in the form of creepy, uncalled-for letters long after she left the Playboy Mansion. Madison says Hefner’s bedroom was miserable and that sex with him was something where you just wanted to it get over with ASAP. Hugh’s letters weren’t creepy in a sexual way, though. More like an overprotective parental, stalker, I-still-own-your-ass sort of way. “They were all very formal, short letters, and it would usually be in response to something I said in the press,” Madison, 35, explains. “At the time I had a TV show [ Holly’s World ] going on, so I was doing all kinds of random interviews and they’d ask me my opinion.” “On the new Girls Next Door, or who he was dating.” “If I said anything that was slightly not to his liking, he’d send me a reprimanding type of letter,” Holly said, and that didn’t sit well. “And it just got to the point where I’d throw them away and not even look at them. There was just a very creepy vibe to them.” Holly Madison on Hugh Hefner Sex: Just Get it Over With! “I felt like he was trying to act like he was my dad,” she says of her former boyfriend, “and like control every move that I made.” There has been discussion over why Madison, now married with a child by husband Pasquale Rotella, is airing this dirty laundry now. Kendra Wilkinson – who Madison also tears a new one in her memoir – suggests that Holly is out for revenge and just bitter at Hef. K-Dubs posits that Holly wanted to be taken care of for life by Hefner; Holly says she did the leaving, and he offered to buy her back. She claims he actually rewrote his will to leave her $3 million, contingent upon her living in the Mansion and doing his daily bidding. Madison recalls: “I found this folder on my side of the bed when I said I was leaving and going in to pack up the stuff, and it was clear he’d left it out for me to see.” Holly Madison: Hugh Hefner Bedroom Antics Were MISERABLE “It seemed like a desperate ploy. It was definitely worse than middle school because in middle school you get to go home at the end of the day!” Madison’s departure didn’t sit well with Hefner, but her latest claims have hurt more. The 89-year-old says she’s the desperate one. “Over the course of my life I’ve had more than my fair share of romantic relationships with wonderful women,” Hefner said in a statement . The Playboy founder added: “Many moved on to live happy, healthy, and productive lives, and I’m pleased to say remain dear friends today.” “Sadly, there are a few who have chosen to rewrite history in an attempt to stay in the spotlight.
