Us magazine is reporting that Johnny Depp married Amber Heard in a small ceremony in a cove that overlooks the ocean, with about two dozen chairs set aside for guests. Paul Bettany the Actor/Director/Scariest guy in the world in The Da Vinci Code (when he was the self-mutilating baddie! Yuck!) witnessed the vows, along with Depp’s two children Lily-Rose (15) and Jack (12). While this is Johnny’s second marriage and Amber’s first, it is both of their second time performing these particular marriage vows to each other, as Depp and Heard were officially married last week in West Hollywood. Why get married twice? Well, it’s a celebrity thing. The first time is for the family and friends, and the second time is for the public. The previous ceremony took place at Depp’s home, it was small and intimate. This one had snorkeling, drinking, music … the works! But really, what blushing bride doesn’t want to opportunity to dress-up twice, and to get married to Johnny Depp twice? It’s a little girl’s dream come true – LITERALLY, as Amber Heard was a little girl when Johnny was first becoming a Hollywood heartthrob. Heard (28) met Johnny (51) on the set of the movie The Rum Diary in 2011, and have been together ever since. According to a source close to the couple, “things are in a great place with them”, which is probably good since they just got married twice. Will they go for the tri-fecta? Only time will tell. Dionne Warwick, the cousin of Whitney Houston and Bobbi Kristina Brown, slipped and fell in the shower and has been hospitalized for two weeks. Warwick’s slip and fall occurred January 24, according to TMZ; Dionne was at her home in South Orange, N.J., when a 911 call was placed at 10:19 a.m. The 911 call for Bobbi Kristina Brown, who was found face down in her bathtub, came exactly a week later, at 10:25 a.m. on Saturday, January 31. Dionne Warwick, 74, was transported via ambulance to a local hospital where she underwent ankle surgery and was released this past Thursday. Whitney Houston passed away February 11, 2012, after drowning in her hotel bathtub. Bobbi Kristina is clinging to life after nearly doing the same. Her father Bobby Brown believes God will save her , but doctors aren’t as optimistic, having told her family members that there’s little they can do. Bobbi Kristina was placed in a coma after being found by husband Nick Gordon and friend Max Lomas, and has yet to show any signs of recovery. As family members gather at her bedside for what could be goodbye to the 21-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston, tensions are running high. The Fifty Shades of Grey movie has generated controversy since the get-go, and with its premiere one week away, some activists are organizing a boycott. Based on what? The issue at hand is somewhat unexpected … Given that the film was inspired by a BDSM-filled erotic novel that was conceived as Twilight fan fiction, it’s not a shock that its content is provocative. What’s a little surprising is that one particular organization doesn’t seem to take much issue with the sexual atmosphere in the story, but something else. A new online campaign called #50dollarsnot50shades is seeking both a boycott of Fifty Shades of Grey as well as donations to support battered women. While the campaign and its supporters don’t necessarily seem to object to sexual content, they do claim that the film glamorizes violence against women. The executive director of the National Center on Sexual Exploitation (NCSE), one of the campaign’s supporters, stated on the organization’s website: “Hollywood is advertising the Fifty Shades story as an erotic love affair, but it is really about sexual abuse and violence against women.” “As such, the #50dollarsnot50shades movement is calling for audiences to not see Fifty Shades of Grey when it debuts on Valentine’s Day weekend.” “Instead, donate the money they would have spent on a popcorn, drinks, movie ticket and babysitter to charities that support abused women.” The NCSE is not alone in its view of the movie. Groups promoting the campaign include London Abused Women’s Centre and Stop Porn Culture. As of this report, neither E.L. James, the author of the original book series, Universal Studios or the main stars have responded to the controversy. This is the latest uproar to make headlines for Fifty Shades of Grey , which received an “18” rating in the UK (basically like an NC-17 in the U.S.). News , “The couple do not know what the sex of the baby is!” So despite some reports saying that the Duchess of Cambridge is having a girl named Diana – an easy rumor to want to believe for many – it’s untrue. Or even if it is true that they’re considering it, they still don’t know it’s a girl yet. As for why Kate Middleton and her husband picked that name (supposedly), a source told celebrity gossip magazine OK! that it was an easy call. Diana got the nod since they “felt they needed to go with something very traditional, like Elizabeth or Mary, and that had a lot of meaning to them.” Elizabeth has even more meaning … according to people gambling on this. Ladbrokes, a British-based gaming company, currently handicaps Diana at 12/1, while Elizabeth is the odds on favorite at 5/1 (and we love Britain). Whomever he or she may be, the Duchess, who is nearly seven months pregnant, told a 17-year-old girl last month that she can feel her baby kicking. “It’s moving all the time,” Kate said in January. “I can feel it kicking now.” The 33-year-old Middleton added that she didn’t know the sex of the baby back then either, hence her referring to little George’s future sibling as “it.” She and William, also 33, reportedly didn’t know if George would be a boy or girl either until that magical moment in the delivery room when the heir arrived. Finally, some good news for Suge Knight…kinda. It was reported yesterday that Knight was handcuffed to a hospital bed and the situation looked grim for the 49-year-old hip hop mogul. Knight was rushed to the emergency room moments after pleading not guilty to the hit-and-run murder of Terry Carter. On his arrival, he was found to be suffering from potentially deadly blood clots. The clotting was apparently the result of Knight being shot six times back in August. (Suge’s really had quite the year.) It was the second time in three months that he’d been hospitalized due to clotting, and some insiders suggested that this time, Knight might not make it. But now, TMZ is reporting that Suge is out of the hospital…and back in the slammer. After being treated with blood thinners, the former Death Row Records CEO is reportedly well enough to be treated in the prison infirmary. You know your life has really hit the skids when going back to prison qualifies as “good news.” As for Suge’s legal woes, it’s not currently known when Knight’s murder trial will begin, but if he’s convicted he could spend the rest of his life in prison. It’s almost here. After months of anticipation, the Fifty Shades of Grey movie will hit theaters and millions of randy fans will line up to see if the jaw-dropping sexcapades that made the book an international sensation are just as hot on screen. Naturally, a major factor in whether or not the film adaptation will work is the chemistry (or lack thereof) between leads Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson. Unfortunately, if Johnson and Dornan’s press tour is any indication, the relationship between the co-stars is less hot and heavy and more ho-hum. The earliest indication that Johnson and Dornan are less than BFFs came during a Today Show interview to promote the first Fifty Shades trailer . The tension between the two was so clear that Natalie Morales asked (jokingly) if they hate each other. She seemed a bit taken aback when Dornan nodded yes, and Johnson simply dodged the question: Jamie Dornan, Dakota Johnson: Awkward Fifty Shades Interview That’s just one of many awkward interviews involving the two people who are supposed to convincingly pretend to be mad with lust for one another. In fact, sources close to the film say that thus far the Fifty Shades press tour has been an utter disaster. In addition to the fact that Dornan and Johnson seem unable to hide their contempt for one another, their lack of enthusiasm for the film itself is often obvious when they’re describing their steamier onscreen interactions. Sex scenes are obviously central to the film and both actors seem to be going out of their way to provide spectacularly un -sexy descriptions when asked about their characters’ famously kinky coitus. Johnson has described filming the scenes as a “task,” Dornan has said that he found filming to be unpleasant and stated that he would “take a long shower” before returning home to his wife. So who’s up for two co-stars who hate each other and were clearly disgusted by their own love scenes? We think the John Oliver Fifty Shades audition might have actually been sexier than that. The feud between Kyle Richards and Brandi Glanville shows no signs of letting up, and Kyle has had nothing but harsh words for her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star. The weird thing is – Brandi seems to agree with Kyle’s assessment of the situation. Asked in a recent interview why she decided to star on Celebrity Apprentice, Brandi offered some surprisingly self-aware comments about her own persona: “I wanted to do a show that possibly my 11-year-old could watch,” Brandi said. “I don’t let him watch Housewives, because I’m a giant a–hole on that show.” “I’m excited to have this out and to have a balance between drunk-fun Brandi and now you get to see Brandi doing business deals, tasks, and using my brain…instead of my wine glass.” That last comment seems to be a reference to the time Brandi threw wine at Jeff Lewis while appearing on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live. Or maybe she’s just reminding us she really likes to drink.
