While Kris Jenner is in meltdown mode, supposedly over the fallout from Bruce’s sex change, his six children are said to be fully in his corner. As difficult and complicated as this situation must be for them, we can’t see how they wouldn’t have his back 100 percent. After all, he’s there dad. Moreover, when a human being feels so lost, so insecure, so uncomfortable in their own’s skin that such a move is necessary for their happiness? The inner turmoil must have been really, really bad prior to that. It’s hard not to feel bad for Bruce, feeling trapped in such a state for so long. Warren Sapp: Arrested for Assault, Soliciting a Prostitute

Well, another football season may have come to an end last night, but that doesn’t mean the NFL is through being humiliated. Former Bucs and Raiders star  Warren Sapp was arrested in Phoenix this morning on charges of assault and soliciting a prostitute. The details of his alleged crimes aren’t known at this time, but TMZ is reporting that Sapp was taken into custody around 7 this morning, and booked just moments ago. Sapp was in the Phoenix area to cover the Super Bowl for the NFL Network. In addition to being a Hall of Fame defensive tackle, Sapp was a well-known media figure. In addition to his current gig as a color commentator, Sapp competed on Dancing With the Stars , and even performed stand-up comedy at the 2009 roast of Larry the Cable Guy. This is Sapp’s third arrest. He was picked up in 2010 for domestic battery, but the charges were eventually dropped. He was arrested on the same charges again in 2014. It’s not known at this time if Sapp is still in custody or if he’s been released on bail. It’s an ugly situation, but hey, there’s a bright side if for Tom Brady and company – this should get folks to stop talking about DeflateGate , at least temporarily. 53 Celebrity Mug Shots: ARRESTED! 1. Richard Sherman Reacts in Horror, Tom Brady Jumps For Joy in Super Bowl GIFs That Say it All

Miss the end of Super Bowl XLIX? Obviously not, but if you had, these two GIFs tell you everything you need to know about the shocking conclusion: The championship was in hand for the Seattle Seahawks. Or so it appeared. Trailing 28-24, but with the football on the one yard line and the final seconds ticking down, all they had to do was hand the ball off to Marshawn Lynch. But they didn’t do that. Instead, the unthinkable (play call) happened. Quarterback Russell Wilson threw a pass over the middle, resulting in a stunning Malcolm Butler interception that clinched it for the New England Patriots. Neither Seahawks all-pro defensive back Richard Sherman or Patriots signal-caller Tom Brady were on the field at the time their fates were sealed. Despite that fact, or perhaps because of it, their priceless reactions to the pivotal play were worth a thousand words. Maybe even a million. One could practically feel Sherman’s agony as Seattle’s second straight title slipped through his grasp, a defeat snatched from the jaws of victory. Out of all the sad faces in the world, no sad face has ever been sadder than Sherman’s at that moment. Win or lose, he wears his heart on his sleeve. Last year’s Richard Sherman rant ? This was almost as epic. And Brady? What needs to be said about his equally awesome, but opposite reaction? The 37-year-old future Hall of Famer looked 37 going on 7, reminding us that football is only a game, and those who play it are all young at heart. RadioShack to Shut Down as Part of Sprint Deal, Was Apparently Not Shut Down Before This

Troubled electronics retailer RadioShack is reportedly on the verge of closing its doors for good as part of a deal with Sprint, according to financial insiders. In related news, RadioShack apparently still existed prior to this. Under the proposed Sprint deal, half the company’s stores would be taken over by the wireless telecommunications giant, and painted yellow and black. The other half would close, according to Bloomberg News. Nothing’s final, and until the deal is finalized, another buyer could swipe up the company and allow it to keep on … doing whatever it is RadioShack does. Given that it’s facing bankruptcy and declining relevance in the tech space, however, we would not hold our collective breath for that scenario. Sprint and RadioShack also have discussed co-branding the stores , but regardless, it looks like the end for the company, which began in 1921. Yes, 1921. As a mail-order retailer for ham-radio operators and maritime communications officers, before expanding into a wider range of electronics. Recent years have not been kind to RadioShack, though. Remodeling stores and revamping the product lineup have done little to revive sales, as the company has posted 11 straight unprofitable quarters. Katy Perry Subtly Dissed Taylor Swift During Super Bowl Halftime Show?

As you’ve probably heard, Katy Perry performed at the Super Bowl last night, and the show was pretty much the definition of pulling out all the stops. It had everything: dancing sharks , Lenny Kravitz pretending to play guitar, Missy Elliott pretending Katy’s “dancing” isn’t hilarious…the one thing it didn’t have is the one thing we’d been looking forward to for months. Ever since it was announced that she was playing the Super Bowl, there were rumors that Katy planned to diss Taylor Swift during her performance. But either she chickened out or there was no truth to the report in the first place, because no one detected a Swifty burn, and 100 million people can’t be wrong, right? Enter the drama-starved obsessives who claim Katy totally did sneak in a jab at her rival, it was just so subtle that the audience at home would never pick up on it. See those dancers up there? The ones in the polka-dotted two-pieces? Well, some believe that’s Katy’s way of throwing shade at Taylor. Yes, folks seriously took to Twitter with the theory that since Taylor has been known to occasionally rock a high-wasted, patterned bikini, that must be Katy’s wearing of firing shots at Swift. It would be one thing if the dancers looked anything like Taylor, or if one of them got dumped by Harry Styles in the middle of the show. Then we’d be willing to consider this theory. As it stands, however, there’s no reason to believe that there’s dancers were up there for any reason other than adding even more eye candy to the lurid, seizure-inducing insanity that was Katy Perry at the Super Bowl. Nick Offerman NASCAR Ad: Offensive to Celiac Disease Sufferers?

Here is a controversy we did not see coming… During Super Bowl XLIX, Parks and Recreation star Nick Offerman anchored a commercial for NASCAR, relying on his ultra masculine image to lament how the country has gone soft. “When our idea of danger is eating gluten, there’s trouble afoot,” the actor said at the outset of the spot. No big deal, right? Sort of funny, no? Try telling that to some people with celiac disease. Nick Offerman Super Bowl Commercial Someone who refers to himself as “Gluten Dude” and who hails from Newtown, Pennsylvania first took offense to the commercial and then took to Change.org to start a petition. “[The ad] implies that we’re soft,” he writes. “We’re weak … we’re part of America’s problem. When all we’re trying to do is manage our disease.” As of this writing, 18,000 people have signed Gluten Dude’s petition to have the ad yanked. Do you find it offensive? Elsewhere in Super Bowl commercial news: The Nationwide Super Bowl commercial plunged America into a pit of despair. Lindsay Lohan mocked her terrible driving record. Val Kilmer: Dying Due to Bizarre Religious Beliefs?

Actor Val Kilmer was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery over the weekend as a result of severe bleeding caused by a tumor in his throat. Now, TMZ is reporting that Kilmer has been ignoring his potentially deadly condition since the summer as a result of his religious beliefs. Kilmer is a member of the Church of Christian Science, which teaches that health problems are healed by prayer, not medical treatment. The acclaimed actor was apparently so adamant in his conviction that his faith would save him that family and friends who suggested he go to a doctor were instantly cut out of his life. The Tombstone star’s health has been the subject of much scrutiny from the press in recent years. Kilmer’s weight gain in the early 2000s was followed by a sudden drop in pounds that many took as an indication of a medical affliction. Over the past few months, Kilmer took to wearing a scarf in public, reportedly to conceal the swelling in his neck. Those closest to the actor are said to be encouraged by the fact that Kilmer has finally acknowledged the need for medical treatment. He is currently said to be in stable condition, but his recovery could be a extremely difficult one.

Kim Kardashian is basically known for two things these days: Her daughter. Her boobs. And both were on display in a pair of new  Kim Kardashian selfies ! First, as she wrote in a caption, the reality star had her “finishing touches [put on] by my new make up artist” in one snapshot, as Kardashian cradles little North West. This photo went up on Facebook just days after Kardashian also shared pictures of North smiling and acting annoyed . Kim, of course, could not simply stop at images that depicted her as a fun-loving mother. She also had to show off her breasts. In some seriously Not Safe for Work fashion! Kardashian included the hashtag “#‎DressingRoomTrailorSelfie” along with this snapshot, giving folks a chance to compare it to her  #PublicBathroomSelfie . What hashtag will Kim Kardashian start to trend tomorrow? Where will she snap her next selfie? Nationwide Defends "Dead Kid" Super Bowl Ad: All About Awareness!

If the goal of any commercial is to make an impression, then Nationwide should be popping champagne bottles inside its headquarters today. Perhaps more than any other ad that aired last night, folks are still talking about the  Nationwide Super Bowl commercial . Only, instead of praising its humor or originality, critics are wondering: Did Nationwide really just run a commercial that centered on a dead child?!? Nationwide Super Bowl Commercial: Make Safe Happen The spot (titled “Make Safe Happen”) opened with a scene of a little kid riding a tricycle, playing with a dog and engaging in other childhood activities. “I’ll never learn to ride a bike,” the young boy says at the outset. “Or get cooties. I’ll never learn to fly… or travel the world with my best friend… and I won’t ever get married.” Why not? “I couldn’t grow up because I died from an accident.” Oh. We then cut to various grave scenes, as the ad reads: “The number one cause of childhood deaths is preventable accidents. At Nationwide, we believe in protecting what matters most: your kids. Together, we can make safe happen.” Many viewers were aghast that the company would air such a morbid commercial, with criticism growing so strong that Nationwide has actually released a statement in defense of the footage. “Preventable injuries around the home are the leading cause of childhood deaths in America,” it reads. “Most people don’t know that. Nationwide ran an ad during the Super Bowl that started a fierce conversation. The sole purpose of this message was to start a conversation, not sell insurance.” We somehow doubt that’s 100% true, but okay. Fair enough. Go on… 2015 Super Bowl Commercials 1. Kim Kardashian T-Mobile Commercial Kim Kardashian shills for T-Mobile in this commercial. But it’s not just any commercial: it’s a Super Bowl commercial! “We want to build awareness of an issue that is near and dear to all of us — the safety and well-being of our children,” the statement continues. “We knew the ad would spur a variety of reactions. In fact, thousands of people visited MakeSafeHappen.com, a new website to help educate parents and caregivers with information and resources in an effort to make their homes safer and avoid a potential injury or death. “Nationwide has been working with experts for more than 60 years to make homes safer. While some did not care for the ad, we hope it served to begin a dialogue to make safe happen for children everywhere.” The Nationwide Super Bowl commercial was not the only Super Bowl commercial to earn criticism. Some with celiac disease are angry over this Nick Offerman NASCAR ad ? Seriously. They really are.
