Darn you, American Idol. Each week, we know you’re gonna tug at our heartstrings with some moving personal story revolving around some contestant who has had a difficult life… … and each week we totally find ourselves reaching for the Kleenex. Rocky Peter American Idol Audition In the case of last night’s installment , the final episode before American Idol moves to Hollywood on Wednesday, viewers met Rocky Peter. Born in America, Peter was moved to Africa by his father at a young age, only for this same father to then abandon his family “We couldn’t afford food, so we went around and begged for food,” Peter told the judging team. “A lot of time we’d be so hungry, we’d be in tears crying. We had to eat food from trash cans … Through all the struggle, music was always there for me The hopeful added that “music was always there for me” during the tough times – and then proceeded to belt out an origin song titled “Wrong Places.” Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. couldn’t help but gush over Rocky Peter… but not just for his backstory. Parenthood Season 6 Episode 13 Recap: Break Out the Tissues!

Heading into  Parenthood Season 6 Episode 13 , the question really wasn’t whether or not viewers would cry over the final installment of this beautifully-written, criminally underrated drama. The question was simply how much one would cry. Watch Parenthood Season 6 Episode 13 Online The finale certainly did not disappoint, as the Braverman family came together for Sarah’s wedding to Hank, which Max was able to photograph… just prior to hitting it off with a beautiful young women who didn’t call him “Asperger’s.” Cue tissue box number-one. Elsewhere, Joel and Julia chose to adopt Victor’s newborn biological sister, while Adam took over Chambers Academy. This decision led Crosby and Amber to breathe new life into The Luncheonette. Then, of course, it came time to bring on tissue box number-two, three and four. Zeek succumbed to his failing heart, although creator Jason Katims and company at least spared us a total breakdown by revealing the moment of his passing off screen before Camille found him, passed away, in his armchair. As he requested, Zeek’s ashes were spread on the baseball field, as a series of flash forwards depictued the Bravermans a few years into the future. Among the highlights: Joel and Julia have four kids. Crosby and Jasmine are expecting their third child. Adam is handing Max his diploma from Chambers Academy. We’re losing any and all control of our tear ducts just writing these words and remembering the footage in our heads. While Parenthood is considered by many to be the most emotional program on television, along with the saddest program on television, Katims shared with TV Line why he chose to end the series on an uplifting note. “This is ultimately an uplifting show, and it’s about this family coming together,” he said. “We didn’t want to give the audience a fairytale ending, and we wanted the story of Zeek dying… “By juxtaposing the death against the family continuing to expand and thrive, that would give it the music of life.” Darn you, Jason Katims. UPS Driver Throws Package Over Gate, Urinates on House in Viral Video

A UPS driver was recently caught tossing a package over a property’s fence in Houston, Texas, then urinating on the house, because obviously. What a RELIEF … that the dude was caught! Areweright?! UPS Driver Throws Package, Urinates On House The homeowner, Ben Lucas, also uploaded the now-viral video to local TV news station KHOU’s Facebook and spoke to the station about the incident. Really, the video in question is pretty straightforward. A UPS delivery man unceremoniously lobs a package over his fence, shot put-style, looks around for a moment and relieves himself in the yard. “It’s not like the cameras are hidden, he did a quick look around,” Lucas said, but either he didn’t see them or just didn’t care for some reason. Lucas’ package contained an ammunition cleaning machine, which he says was cracked by the driver’s rather aggressive method of delivery. The urination, obviously, was even more troubling. “You’re paying someone to take a package to go from point A to point B, so basically I paid someone to come to my house and pee on it,” he said. Yup, that pretty much sums it up right there. Amazingly, Ben’s repeated calls to UPS failed to get a response, and only after that did he edit the clip and post it to the company’s Facebook page. At that point, the parcel delivery company reached out to him and offered an apology, as well as an unspecified gift, he says. Maybe some bleach? The driver, who the company confirmed was a seasonal hire, was fired, although UPS declined to specify whether it was because of this video. Ted 2 Trailer: Released! Raunchy!

Everyone’s favorite dirty talking bear is back! The first trailer for Ted 2 has been released, with Mark Wahlberg and Seth MacFarlane set to reprise their roles from the blockbuster original. This time, however, Amanda Seyfried is taking over for Mila Kunis as the female lead, Ted 2 Trailer In the upcoming comedy, Ted and his new wife Tami-Lynn want to have a baby… but first they must prove in a court of law that he’s a person. Even though, you know, he’s a teddy bear. It’s confusing. But it will also be hilarious! Along with Wahlberg, Seyfried and the voice of MacFarlane, Liam Neeson, Morgan Freeman, Patrick Warburton, Dennis Haysbert, Jessica Barth and Richard Schiff will play roles in the movie. Ready for jokes about sex, semen and Samuel L. Jackson? Ready to see a fat blind guy get a coin thrown into his butt crack. Comcast Apologizes For Renaming Customer "A–hole Brown" on Bill

Comcast is on the hot seat again after its mailings changed a customer’s first name to “A–hole” after his wife pulled the plug on part of their service. Ricardo Brown, a customer from Washington State, received bills that referred to him as “A–hole Brown” following a call his wife placed to the company. Lisa Brown said she believes the insulting bill could have been retaliation for her decision to change part of her contract to reduce the monthly cost. “I was never rude,” the two-year customer said of her experience with Comcast. “It could have been that person was upset because I didn’t take the offer.” Comcast confirmed the name on the Brown family’s bill had been changed, but a rep said he had no idea how it happened, according to news reports. After the offending statement, seen above, went viral, Comcast Vice President of Communications for the Washington region issued an apology. “We have spoken with our customer and have apologized for this completely unacceptable and inappropriate name change,” said Steve Kipp yesterday. “We have absolutely zero tolerance for this type of disrespectful behavior and are conducting a thorough investigation to determine what happened.” Ultimately, the cable giant waived a $60 fee it imposed when Brown canceled part of her account, and refunded her for two years of service. That’s at least going the extra mile to make it up to her, we’ll give the conglomerate that. Long story short, though? Epic fail, Comcast. Epic. Fail. 29 Fails That Weren’t Yours at Least 1. Iggy Azalea Responds to "Blaccent" Criticism

Iggy Azalea has been on the receiving end of some serious criticism in recent months. Some of it might stem from the fact that society of finally getting sick of having the hook from “Fancy” stuck in its collective head, but some of the complaints about Iggy speak to much larger issues: Rappers such as Azealia Banks have slammed Iggy for what they feel is a lack of empathy for the culture from which she profits. Iggy has complained that she’s unfairly criticized because she’s a woman , but in reality, it’s the fact that she’s a white Australian rapper who’s co-opted the style, the dialects, and even the accent associated with hip hop culture, all while demonstrating zero concern for the plight of African-Americans. Iggy’s accent (one part Vanilla Ice, two parts overcompensating Juggalo) has received surprisingly little attention in the debate over her place in hip hop.  That changed yesterday when Eve and Jill Scott appeared on Sway’s Sirius radio show. Asked what she dislikes most about Iggy’s music, Eve replied: “The blaccent. Is that horrible? She’s from a different place. It would be dope to hear her with her swag.” Eve on Iggy Azalea So Eve put a positive spin on it, but it seems that Iggy is in ’round-the-clock defensive mode these days, so she took to Twitter to respond to the critique: “There’s a difference between being yourself and being your stereotype,” Iggy tweeted. “When people I’ve never met say I should act more ‘like myself’ I feel like they’re really saying, ‘Act more like how I stereotype you to be so I can feel comfortable.'” Something tells us that Iggy complaining about feeling stereotyped as a white woman isn’t gonna sway critics who feel she’s woefully ignorant of the problems faced by black Americans. 11 Odd Iggy Azalea Facts! 1. Katie Holmes Books Return to Television: Where is She Headed?

Katie Holmes doesn’t want to wait… for her life to be over another chance to appear on a popular television show. She wants to know right now what it will be. And it will be Ray Donovan! Showtime has confirmed that the former Mrs. Tom Cruise will play a “major” role on Ray Donovan Season 3: she’ll come on board the drama as a shrewd business woman named Paige. According to the network press release, the character will be the daughter of billionaire producer Andrew Finney (to be portrayed by Ian McShane), who enlists Ray’s services. Holmes, of course, will forever be remembered by television fans as Joey from Dawson’s Creek, but she has more recently appeared on episodes of How I Met Your Mother and Eli Stone, along with the miniseries The Kennedys. Lindsay Lohan: Prosecutor to Push for Prison Time?!

Lindsay Lohan is no stranger to trouble, but she may be in deeper than usual this time. We learned yesterday that Lohan is scrambling to complete her community service in order to avoid being locked up. She reportedly has until Wednesday to finish 15 hours of service that were supposed to have been completed by November. The slap on the wrist sentence stems from a 2012 car accident in which Lindsay slammed into an 18-wheeler  with no explanation.  Now, Radar Online is reporting that Lindsay may find herself locked up if she doesn’t figure out a way to complete her service hours today, as the prosecutor in her case is reportedly recommending jail time for the troubled actress. “She deserves to go to jail for the complete lack of respect she shows the system,” a source close to the case tells Radar.  The court is said to be especially irritated by the fact that Lindsay has spent the past week carousing in Europe, rather than serving her hours. “Of course she was partying in Paris. That is her life,” says the insider. Lindsay contracted an untreatable virus known as Chinkungunya during a recent vacation and she’s been using that as an excuse, but the court is reportedly not buying it.  Lindsay is not actually required to be in court tomorrow, but she may show up to plead her case. Taylor Swift Twitter Messages Allegedly Leaked: Who’s the Singer’s Famous Poker Buddy?

Earlier today, we reported that hackers were threatening to release nude Taylor Swift photos obtained by breaking into the singer’s Twitter and Instagram accounts. It now looks as though the crisis has been averted, as crack social media security teams immediately got the situation under control, locking Taylor’s account and reportedly tracking down the parties responsible. Considering the fallout from The Fappening  and the Sony hacking scandal, Taylor was pretty fortunate in this case. But that doesn’t mean she’s emerged from the scandal entirely unscathed. Screen shots of Twitter direct messages that were allegedly taken from Taylor’s inbox have been making the rounds online, and they’re every bit as harmlessly goofy-cute as you would expect: Yes, it seems that Swifty likes to play poker (or Go Fish, who knows with her?) with none other than former Disney boy-bander Nick Jonas.  It’s an interesting development (thus far, the only interesting development to come out of this scandal), as Swift dated Joe Jonas (Nick’s older brother and former bandmate) early in her career. In fact, Joe was the first ex to inspire one of the classic breakup anthems that helped launch Swifty’s career, so perhaps it’s not surprising that she’s still tight with his family. Hey, Taylor hung with Harry Styles last week; she’s clearly not the type to hold grudges. Benedict Cumberbatch Apologizes for Use of Racist Term: I’m an Idiot…

Benedict Cumberbatch is both very sorry and very embarrassed. Last week, the Oscar-nominated star was discussing the state of African-American actors in Great Britain with Tavis Smiley when he remarked: “As far as colored actors go, it gets really difficult in the U.K..” referring to the success of those such as Chiwetel Ejiofor and David Oyelowo in 12 Years a Slave and Selma, respectively.   While Cumberbatch may have had his heart in the right place, he was subsequently criticized for using such an outdated term, prompting an apology from the man behind Sherlock. “I’m devastated to have caused offense by using this outmoded terminology,” he said. “I make no excuse for my being an idiot and know the damage is done. I can only hope this incident will highlight the need for correct usage of terminology that is accurate and inoffensive.” The Imitation Game star concluded: “The most shaming aspect of this for me is that I was talking about racial inequality in the performing arts in the U.K. and the need for rapid improvements in our industry when I used the term.” What do you think, fans?
