Father Catches Daughter Sneaking Out of House, Makes Her Wear "I Am 10 Years Old" T-Shirt

Ready to weigh in on another case of controversial parental punishment? Over the past year or so, we’ve documented stories of a mother and a father who shamed their daughter by making her hold a humiliating sign… a girl who was forced to wear heinous clothing because she acted as a bully… and a mom who took away her daughter’s One Direction tickets . Ouch! Now, Kevin Jones – a Kentucky-based rapper who goes by the stage name Big 7ven – has shared a photo set of his 10-year-old daughter on Facebook. The father wrote that he had caught his child dating a boy, sneaking out of the house and lying about her age. In response, Jones punished his daughter by making her wear the T-shirt above. It reads “I Am 10 Years Old” on the front and “5th Grader” on the back. Wrote Jones on Facebook: “Since my beautiful daughter Janiya wants to be grown and lie about her age, here’s the consequences behind her actions, an age defining shirt.” Jones also handed his daughter a Disney backpack and put barrettes and bows in the little girl’s hair. Kevin’s post has been shared over 80,000 times on Facebook in the week since he published it. What do you think of his punishment? Was it harsh… or hilarious? 34 Questionable Parenting Moves 1. Rihanna: Topless and Wet for Esquire UK!

It’s not like nude photos of Rihanna are anything new, but we’re fully appreciative every time she decides to strip down for the camera. For example, here we have RiRi topless and soaked for the UK Esquire: Who’s gonna look at these and say, “Meh, seen it before?” If anything, we should closely study Rih’s naked photos, but not for the reasons you might think: Rihanna was hacked and had explicit photos stolen from her phone and computer just like hundreds of other female celebs during the creepy event that’s since been dubbed The Fappening . Prior to that Rihanna had nude photos banned from Instagram  and she re-posted them to Twitter in protest of the site’s weird “no nipple” policy. It’s important to note the difference between these two events. It’s similar to the difference between you giving money to charity and someone robbing you at gunpoint. So maybe when Rihanna gets naked, she’s not just doing it for the sake of boosting her career and titillating some male fans. Or maybe she is. Either way she’s sending an important message about a woman’s right to privacy in the digital age! Yes, Rihanna stands for freedom, and equality, but perhaps most importantly…boobies. Following a very strong Gotham Season 1 Episode 7 , in which Falcone actually let Bullock and Gordon live, everyone’s favorite DC Comics-based detective won’t be satisfied with basic survival. He’ll be yearning for a fight. Gotham Season 1 Episode 8 Promo Aside from a re-energized Gordon, what can fans expect from  Gotham Season 1 Episode 8 ? Titled “The Mask,” Gordon and Bullock will check out a nasty fight club, one that actually features matches between candidates applying for work at a financial firm. Can’t say we saw that one coming! Meanwhile, upon his return to school, Bruce makes a new friend. And he also asks Alfred for a favor. It involves his fists. Are you still down with this new Fox series? Leah Messer’s Grandma Slams Haters, Suggests Unknown Enemies Have "Night Cam"

Leah Messer’s family is sticking by her throughout her recent marital strife. That includes her grandmother, who has some harsh words for her critics. With the marriage of Leah and Jeremy Calvert on the ropes, everyone’s chiming in, from her former flame Robbie Kidd to their families and friends. Reports have surfaced that Jeremy Calvert moved out on Leah , while fingers are being pointed left and right as the pair’s union hangs by a thread. Her younger sister Victoria slammed Jeremy and threatened to expose his dirtiest secrets, and now their grandma Sandy Kay, has taken to Facebook. With a vengeance! In a lengthy and tangential post, Kay said that “they” (it’s unclear who the nebulous they are) of going after Messer and her kids and will stop at nothing. Nothing. She even went so far as to suggest that the unknown attackers could have a “night cam” to see if she’s “having sex with Jeremy so they can make money.” Yeah. As for those who say Messer is a prescription drug addict , Kay said they have a “rude awakening” coming, and “time will let the truth reveal itself.” While she didn’t deny that there is some trouble in paradise, “She and Jeremy will get threw [sic] there [sic] problems,” she said. “They are young.” Leah Messer Photos: Through the Years 1. The duo’s marriage has been rocky from the start, and the obstacles they face aren’t likely to lessen over time. Last month, Calvert accused his wife of cheating with ex Robbie Kidd on Twitter, while Leah and Robbie both denied this publicly and vehemently. Jeremy took the messages down, while Leah Tweeted Sunday, “Their [sic] is nothing more important in my life than my husband and my girls!” Case closed? Or living in denial and trying too hard to keep up appearances while the end is clearly near? Time will tell, people. Only time will tell. In the meantime, all we can do is watch Teen Mom 2 online and relive the couple’s road to the altar … and the tension that’s been brewing since.

Lena Dunham Issues Statement, Apology in Regard to Sexual Molestation Scandal

Lena Dunham has taken a break from rage spiraling to craft a thoughtful statement regarding the controversy around some passages in her new book. Late last week, the website Truth Revolt cited a story in “Not That Kind of Girl” in which Dunham said she looked into her sister’s vagina when she was seven years old. The site laid into Dunham for this behavior, prompting an angry response from the creator of HBO’s Girls. Lena Dunham Rage Spirals Over Sexual Abuse Claims A lawyer for Dunham also sent Truth Revolt a cease-and-desist letter, though the site simply went on the offensive in response, citing another passage in the book (where Dunham jokes about acting like a “sexual predator” around her sister in exchange for kisses) as inappropriate. Meanwhile,  Dunham canceled a number of appearances in promotion of her memoir while she dealt with the fallout of this scandal. Now, having a couple days to think about the controversy, Dunham has released a new statement to Time Magazine. “First and foremost, I do not condone any kind of abuse under any circumstances,” the actress/producer/writer says, adding: “Childhood sexual abuse is a life-shattering event for so many, and I have been vocal about the rights of survivors. If the situations described in my book have been painful or triggering for people to read, I am sorry, as that was never my intention. Tom Magliozzi Dies: Car Talk Host Was 77

Tom Magliozzi – one of public radio’s most beloved figures – passed away today at 77.  From 1977 to 2012, Magliozzi and his brother Ray hosted the peabody Award-winning Car Talk on NPR. Much more than a simple auto repair call-in show, Car Talk was enlivened by Ray and Tom’s razor-sharp banter and incredible wit. Tom worked as an engineer after graduating from MIT in 1958 before a near-fatal car accident during his lengthy commute prompted him to choose a new career. He described the incident during a 1999 commencement speech at his alma mater: “I quit my job,” Magliozzi said. “I became a bum. I spent two years sitting in Harvard Square drinking coffee. I invented the concept of the do-it-yourself auto repair shop, and I met my lovely wife.” That period led to the creation of Car Talk, which started off on local Boston radio, and soon became a favorite amongst gear-heads and casual NPR listeners alike. Tom and Ray retired from the show in 2012 after Tom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. Magliozzi is the second beloved son that the city of Boston has lost in les than a week, following the death of Thomas Menino last week this past Thursday.  Celebrities We Lost in 2014 1. Kylie Jenner Goes Grey: Love It or Loathe It?

Kylie Jenner has been trying out lots of different looks on Instagram lately.  First, Kylie’s increasingly plump lips led to rumors that she’d either had collagen injections or was suffering from some sort of serious allergic reaction. Then, over the weekend,  Kylie’s Halloween costume led some fans to speculate that she decided to celebrate the holiday with a boob job. Now, Kylie has decided to experiment with her hair color yet again, and it’s resulted in some seriously mixed reviews from fans: Kylie’s electic blue hair received mostly positive reviews back in May, but the reality star’s grey look has some fans wondering when KJ went from 17 to 70. While Kylie captioned the pic, “a little grey never hurt nobody,” it’s worth noting that “grey” isn’t the most accurate term to describe what’s going on here. There’s like 87 colors in there, including some vestiges of Kylie’s usual black. So it’s safe to say some time and thought went into this look, and she’ll probably be sticking with it for a while. Chris Brown is done apologizing for his beatdown of Rihanna . In a wide-ranging new interview on Hot 97’s “Ebro In The Morning” Friday, the anger-filled artist was asked about the beating of his ex-girlfriend in 2009 and replied that he’s sick of addressing it. Yes, Brown admitted it has “remorse about it,” but if you’re waiting on the star to apologize again for what happened… you’ll be waiting for a long time. “You can only say it but so many times, and I feel like through the years I’ve said it enough, to where it’s like, ‘Bro, if you’re still on that, I feel sorry for y’all, because it’s over with.'” Brown added that he and Rihanna have “made amends,” which says more about the issues facing Rihanna than it does anything about Chris Brown. The controversial performer also got into how he does some “crazy stuff” while on drugs such as sizzurp and Xanax, openly discussing his own deep-seated struggles. “I think my demons [now] are being afraid of failure. Amanda Bynes’ Bid to Upend Conservatorship Denied, But What Does That Change?

Amanda Bynes has been shut down in her legal bid to torpedo her parents’ conservatorship, which remains in place after her challenge was dismissed. The problem is that the conservatorship as it stands is doing nothing. After Amanda Bynes was released from psychiatric care in a shocking development Thursday, she said she was headed to court to nix the conservatorship. The 28-year-old distrusts and hates her parents with a vengeance. In an epic Twitter rant , the star accused her father – who she again claims is a sexual predator – and Sam Lutfi of conspiring to lock her up against her will. She vowed to appear in Ventura County Court Friday to take down the conservatorship, which recently gave Bynes’ parents control over her affairs. Bynes didn’t show. A lawyer claiming to represent her did, but a judge ruled that she could not hire him … because of the conservatorship. The irony. Under the conservatorship, she lacks the capacity to sign a binding contract, which includes hiring a lawyer to represent her. So no dice yesterday. All of this begs the obvious question: How was she released!?! 45 Seriously OMG WTF Amanda Bynes Photos 1. Amanda Bynes is Dope Amanda Bynes thinks she is dope. The actress has posted this photo to Twitter. Her involuntary psychiatric hold was recently extended by 30 days, but she somehow convinced a hearing officer at the facility that she was fine. Believing Bynes was lucid and that the facility lacked legal standing to hold her – even though a judge had just granted it – the officer nixed the 30-day hold. Amanda walked out the front door Thursday, and, well … Roaming the streets of Hollywood, talking to imaginary friends and clearly delusional, Bynes showed instantly why she needs to be in just such a facility. It’s sad, but true and baffling that she got out. Her parents’ conservatorship is empty if they can’t control or influence her conduct; Amanda seems to have access to money, though it’s unclear how. Not unlike when she was committed to the psychiatric facility a few weeks ago, it again looks to be just a matter of time before she hurts herself or others.
