Scotty McCreery Robbed at Gunpoint: Get the Details

Scotty McCreery just experienced what he described on Twitter as the “worst morning of his life.” And for a very understandable reason. The winner of American Idol Season 10 and his roommates at North Carolina State University were victims of a home invasion inside their off-campus residence in Raleigh. According to local TV station WTVD, the 20-year old was actually ordered to the ground by armed suspects who took cash, wallets and electronics. They told McCreery and his friends to face down and count to 100 as they made their escape. No one was injured in the incident. “Yes, it was definitely very scary,” Scotty wrote on Facebook this afternoon. “Luckily, my friends and I are safe and the Raleigh PD is on the case. I will share more when the time is right, but as of now we do not want to do or say anything that could hinder the investigation. “Thanks to everyone for the prayers and support. A huge thank you to the Raleigh PD for their quick response and hard work in solving this case.” Raleigh police have released a 911 call from someone at McCreery’s house who says: “They took everything we have. It’s okay, parents around the world. You need not be embarrassed any longer than you know every word to “Let It Go.” In the following video, a handful of U.S. Marines belt out the lyrics to this  Adele Dazeem Idina Menzel hit from the smash movie Frozen, getting more and more into Elsa’s anthem with every line. When Elsa flicks her hair, the military men nearly jump off the sofa and erupt into the kind cheers you’d expect to hear from them while watching the Super Bowl, not an animated children’s movie. Ariana Grande on Rihanna Diss: She Wasn’t Laughing at Me!

Ariana Grande performed at the iHeartRadio Awards in LA last week and received mixed reactions to her singing and dancing. Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton were bored by Ariana  to the point that it was written all over their faces, and Rihanna actually laughed out loud at Ariana’s moves. Rihanna Laughs at Ariana Grande Ariana spoke about RiRi’s giggle fit in a recent interview and it seems she actually buys Rihanna’s excuse that she wasn’t laughing at the performance. “I didn’t see her laughing her laughing at me, but when I watched it afterwards it looked like she was just shocked because I was doing something different,” said Ariana. Riiiiight. Shocked people always break out into fits of hysterical laughter. Apparently, RiRi’s official explanation is that she was chuckling at something that one of Ariana’s friends said. Ariana adds, “I thought it was funny that people tried to make such a commotion out of it because she was being playful and supportive if anything.” Playful, supportive, shocked…whatever she was, Rihanna certainly seemed to be enjoying herself. We just hope for Ariana’s sake that she was entertained for the the right reasons. Regardless of your feelings on her dance moves, we can all agree that Ariana is easy on the eyes when she’s standing still. You don’t drag other people in your life through this sewer needlessly,” he said, “so I’ll take the hit and move on.” Gibson, of course, delivered a series of racist, sexist and threatening tirades toward Grigorieva in a series of tapes that irreparably damaged his reputation. Wladimir Klitschko’s wedding to Hayden Panettiere has been delayed by the political unrest unfolding in the Ukraine, the Nashville star reveals to Parade. The current fighting and uncertain future of the Eastern European nation has put all of the couple’s plans on the back burner for the foreseeable future. “Everything that’s happening in Ukraine definitely put a hold on things . But we have time,” the actress, 24, said of her marriage to the boxing champ, 38. The actress announced her engagement to the professional boxer back in October 2013, and appeared on the cover of the April/May issue of Brides. One thing’s for sure, though: After breaking up briefly before getting engaged, Hayden Panettiere and Wladimir Klitschko know they belong together. “It means a lot when you experience life with someone, then you experience life without him and decide that you don’t want to live without him,” Panettiere said. For now, she will enjoy being engaged until the political situation settles. Sasquatch Video Surfaces: Real or Fake?!

Is this video of a possible Sasquatch? Myles Lamont of Vancouver, British Columbia, shot this footage in mid-2011, but is just uploading it now, renewing the never-ending debate over Bigfoot. Not unlike all other Bigfoot sightings (below), the footage is obviously grainy and shot from an incredible distance. No one can ever get the thing in focus. Nevertheless … whatever that creature is appears to be gigantic and moving at BREAKNECK speed up a snowy slope in the Tantalus Range mountains. But is it a ‘squatch? You decide: Sasquatch Video: Real or Fake?! Lamont acknowledges that “we were able to view the subject much better than what the video portrays, as [we used] a simple point and shoot camera.” “The subject was clearly bipedal,” he adds, and from what he could observe, “was without snowshoes or backpack and wearing all one-colored clothing. “Movement over this kind of terrain in soft snow without snowshoes would have been very difficult,” he says, not to mention “the distance traveled.” “For a human without proper snow travel gear,” Lamont concludes, this kind of speed would be incredibly hard. Of course, that doesn’t make it impossible. “Perhaps the most reasonable explanation is a very ill-prepared hiker … one who is very physically fit and able to cover ground in an unusually quick fashion.” Especially if said hiker had “very large feet.” What do you think? It does seem like eons ago. Following the disappointing lead of her sister – who continues to post bikini selfies online and brag about her weight loss – Khloe took to Instagram over the weekend and ran the following image. First, we have a name drop that likely netted Khloe quite a few bucks. Then, we have the appalling hashtag that somehow implies merely having a waist is a bad thing. Third, we have the complete oblivion that not woman out there has the money and/or free time allotted to this family in order to workout whenever they desire. President Barack Obama took at his critics and also himself during a self-deprecating speech last night at the 2014 White House Correspondents’ Dinner. The Commander-in-Chief noted his waning popularity on multiple occasions, while also mocking CNN for its coverage of the lost Malaysian airplane and Fox News for its insistence that he’s really from Kenya. Eric Hill: The Bachelorette to Handle Cast Member Death "With Respect," Chris Harrison Promises

Every season, The Bachelorette spoilers come out before the season even airs. Nothing like the tragedy that unfolded this year has even occurred before, though. Fans were both stunned and saddened in April at news that contestant Eric Hill died suddenly after a paragliding accident, not long after his stint on the show ended. Eric Hill Dies; The Bachelorette Star Was 30 The late 30-year-old clearly made a lasting impression on people. Eric Hill had gone on the first one-on-one date of the season with Andi Dorfman . While he was clearly eliminated at some point, he and The Bachelorette hit it off. What will his death would mean for the show going forward? The Bachelorette producers were still taping Season 10, featuring the now deceased Eric Hill. Host Chris Harrison stated the obvious when breaking his silence Friday. Harrison told People , “It’s just a horrible, horrible thing.” “He was taken away too young. It’s something we’ve never dealt with on the show.
