Kerry Washington Lucky Cover: That’s Really Her?!

Scandal’s Kerry Washington seems to be covering practically every magazine these days, but you’ve never seen her quite like this. Or at all like this. On Lucky’s December 2013/January 2014 cover, Washington’s face is practically unrecognizable due to the lighting on her face … and perhaps more? Her look – an edgy, shoulder-length hairstyle with bangs, with a white and purple two-piece outfit covered with a sheer, patterned dress – also contributes. Is it just an unusual picture skewed by the facial expression? Was the 36-year-old photoshopped to high heaven? It’s unclear, but a non-issue for the star. For her part, Kerry loves the new look like fans love Scandal Season 3 . She tweeted the image with the caption, “WOOO HOOO!” and made it her Twitter avatar. The recent Saturday Night Live host has plenty to celebrate these days. Nnamdi Asomugha married her in June 2013, and got Kerry Washington pregnant !

Typhoon Haiyan Death Toll Tops 10,000 in the Philippines

The super typhoon known as Haiyan made its way through the Philippines on Friday, blowing through 36 provinces and featuring winds of over 235 miles per hour. Due to a loss of power in the region, it’s been difficult to assess the damage, but multiple reports confirm the death toll has topped 10,000. Moreover, officials estimate that 70 percent of the structures in some areas have been destroyed. Typhoon Haiyan Kills Thousands in the Philippines “People are walking like zombies looking for food,” Jenny Chu, a medical student in Leyte, told Reuters. “It’s like a movie.” Edgar Boco, the mayor of coastal town Hernani, told reporters of a “mass grave for 57 people” that residents of his region have made, as aid continues to be brought in from various parts of the globe. Around 80 marines from the Third Marine Expeditionary Brigade – stationed in Okinawa, Japan – are on the way we we type, bringing with them two KC-130 aircraft, communications gear and equipment. Philippine Interior Secretary Mar Roxas compared the ferocity of the typhoon to a tsunami, taking out everything in its path. “From a helicopter, you can see the extent of devastation. From the shore and moving a kilometer inland, there are no structures standing. It was like a tsunami,” he also told Reuters. “I don’t know how to describe what I saw. It’s horrific.” Haiyan is now headed towards Vietnam and is expected to make landfall there on Monday.

Earlier this week, a video surfaced of Justin Bieber sleeping in bed. However, according to a Brazilian prostitute, the singer did a lot more in bed than merely sleep during his recent visit to the South American country. If you know what she means! Following reports that the star spent hours inside a brothel last Friday night, an anonymous hooker tells some site called Critica (dot) com that she totally slept with the Biebs. She was paid $500 for her efforts, allegedly! The woman says she met Justin at an adult nightclub called Le Palace. She and about 10 other hookers were then taken back to his hotel and had their bags and cell phones confiscated by the artist’s security team. Obviously (see Tatiana Neves Barbosa video below), at least one phone slipped through the cracks. But no Bieber sex acts were filmed at least. Bieber kissed her “on the forehead and nose” – and that was merely the beginning! “I wanted to do everything with him. It was better than delicious! “It was super delicious,” the alleged prostitute says. “Because not every day do you get to be with someone famous, especially someone like him … he’s a love of a man! A cutie patootie!” Alas, she says the singer’s penis is merely “average.” Bieber, meanwhile, finds himself in legal hot water, but not simply for possibly maybe having crazy yummy sex with at least one Brazilian hooker. Noah Cyrus is making like older sister Miley Cyrus . No, the 13-year old isn’t Twerking with any giant stuffed animals. But the young star has gotten herself a unique haircut and been forced to defend it against critics around the Internet. First, the half-shaven hair look: Now, the hate… With numerous followers giving Noah a hard time over the ‘do, Cyrus took to Instagram and defended herself with a long message. “Everyone please stop hating on me,” she wrote. “I’m my own person I can do whatever I want. Please stop being so mean. “Do you think I enjoy reading comments tell[ing] me I’m ugly and I’m trying to be someone I’m not when I’m only being myself. I can’t believe the words people are saying to me right now. Please I beg of you just stop.” Miley, of course, also received series criticism when she cut and dyed her hair in August 2012. Beyonce has left us with another memorable moment from a recent concert. A week after photobombing a fan during a show in Melbourne Park, and a couple months after getting her hair stuck in a fan while singing, the singer paused temporarily during a rendition of “Irreplaceable” in Australia. Why? To FaceTime with the friend of an attendee, of course! “This is a first,” Beyonce said as she grabbed the phone of someone with very good seats. Richie Incognito: Accused of Sexually Harassing Female with a Golf Club in 2012

We already know that Richie Incognito left Jonathan Martin a threatening voicemail on at least one occasion. We also know the Miami Dolphins offensive lineman – who has been suspended from the team for excessive hazing and bullying of a teammate – once went off on a drunken, racist rant . There is evidence to support both these claims. And now we’ve also learned that Incognito was investigated for an alleged incidence of sexual harassment during a golf tournament in May 2012. Richie Incognito/Jonathan Martin Hazing Update According to an Aventura, Florida Police Department Report, Incognito acted inappropriately with a volunteer the Turnberry Resort & Club, touching her private area with his club and emptying a water bottle in her face. The 34-year old woman told police that Incognito was clearly drunk… knocked her sunglasses off her head… and rubbed her genitals with a piece of equipment. “After that, he proceeded to lean up against her buttocks with his private parts as if dancing, saying ‘Let it rain! Let it rain!'” the report reads. “He finally finished his inappropriate behavior by emptying bottled water in her face.” Multiple witnesses allegedly witnessed these actions, but did nothing about them. The Dolphins also said they would handle the incident internally, but when nothing came of that investigation, the woman filed her police report. Incognito was suspended Sunday after Martin’s representatives turned over messages with racial slurs and threats of violence to the Dolphins and to the league.

Justin Bieber Monkey Art: Is It Racist?

Justin Bieber is already in trouble with the law for illegally defacing a building in Brazil this week. And now he’s also coming under fire foe what he actually drew on that building. The 19-year old posted a photo to Instagram yesterday of him putting the finishing touches on a monkey with a nose ring, a lip stud and a necklace. “This is my escape,” Justin wrote as a caption, but critics see it as something far worse than that. They believe the drawing has seriously racist undertones. “Someone needs to deck him, seriously,” wrote a Twitter user upon seeing this picture, while another noted that “he’s trying to be Chris Brown ,” and yet another scolded him: “Does he think we’re all monkeys?” Bieber clearly has made a lot of recent mistakes – stealing a bicycle from a security guard in Las Vegas? Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood Rip ObamaCare in CMA Awards Intro

CMA Awards hosts Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood tore into ObamaCare during their comedic and musical intro on Wednesday night’s telecast. The duo poked fun at Miley Cyrus, Luke Bryan, and Dolly Parton, but their best jabs may have come at the faulty Affordable Care Act website’s expense. After the country crooner “injured” himself Twerking, Paisley said he might enroll. “I started signing up last Thursday and I’m almost done,” quipped Carrie. The duo then went on to try getting Paisley signed up for health insurance, launching into a parody song spoofing the ACA’s infamously problematic roll-out. It was pretty funny.
