Dean Sheremet Kind of Disses LeAnn Rimes, Singer Milks it For Attention on Twitter

Dean Sheremet gave an interview last night in which he sort of dissed his ex-wife LeAnn Rimes. Naturally, she took this and ran with it for attention. Sheremet, of course, is the mwan she was married to when she started hooking up with Eddie Cibrian, who was also married to Brandi Glanville . As you can imagine, he’s got a lot of feelings about LeAnn , even if he airs them in public less frequently than Brandi does about Rimes and Cibrian. On Access Hollywood, he said he was “blindsided” by her infidelity. Moreover, the way that he learned about the affair was that LeAnn called him to let him know that some magazine “may or may not have a picture of me and Eddie kissing.” Saying he “never saw it coming” because “you have that assumption that the person that you’re with would never do something like that” isn’t really dissing her, it’s just true. As is the fact that the two “don’t really talk that much,” he says, because “there’s not really a need to. I don’t really know what we would talk about.” Dean Sheremet , who is also remarried, is a chef these days, which is ostensibly why he was on TV, though he admits that the notoriety has an upside: “it’s part of my story and it’s the reason that I get to do awesome cooking segments. Whatever it is that gets me in the door is fine. I’m really a chef!” LeAnn, obviously, couldn’t let this go without a series of tweets, beginning with “I’ve got nothing! Over it, long gone, next… I mean really!? TGIF.” And it continued, for kind of no reason. Rimes seems legitimately surprised people still care about her home-wrecking ways, yet she also feeds into it. Kind of bizarre, don’t you think? Why not just … not respond?

Chris Brown is back doing what he does best. No, not being a beast at sex using his 16 years of extensive training on the subject. Making music. The star lends his good looks and smooth voice to Sevyn Streeter’s music video for “It Won’t Stop,” an obvious response to the Miley Cyrus “We Can’t Stop” video . Just kidding. They’re not alike at all. Well, except for the title. Sevyn Streeter – It Won’t Stop ft. Chris Brown Chris and this blossoming beauty, an emerging pop singer, heat up the beach-themed video for Sevyn’s debut song. Brown himself directed the effort. While the sun rages hot above, Sevyn Streeter shows a ton of skin in cleavage-baring outfits before her man – a Chris Brown knockoff – picks her up. Eventually Chris himself makes an appearance, and the obvious chemistry between the two takes center stage. Think Karrueche Tran should be worried?

Throwback Thursday: Toddler Time Lapse Chronicles Stay at Home Dad Life!

In honor of Throwback Thursday, here’s a look at one of our favorite viral videos in recent memory, a time lapse documenting the happenings of a father and son. While mom is away at work … this is what goes on: Dad-Toddler Time Lapse Emio Tomeoni of Kansas City shot this amazing time lapse video to show his wife, Stephanie Ramos, what she misses while she’s at the office. The video condenses several hours into mere minutes. In typical toddler fashion, what begins with a clean living room quickly devolves into utter chaos. Diapers, toys, bongos, food … mom, you missed out! For better or worse? We’ll leave that up to you to say.

Kendrick Perkins Arrested For Punching Woman in the Face at Club

Oklahoma City Thunder star Kendrick Perkins has been arrested in connection with allegedly punching a woman in the face outside of a nightclub in July. Officials say Perkins and-in-law Quincy Alpough were outside Nox nightclub in Harris County, Tex., when they got into an altercation with a woman. Mikeeta Cotton claims that she was driving her car in front of the club and got into a fender bender with Alpough’s female cousin, who came at her. Alpough quickly joined in, pushing her and yelling, Cotton claims, and Perkins also entered the melee, smacking her in the face with a closed fist. Perkins is accused of hitting Cotton ‘s brother as well, while a third person says that Alpough elbowed her in the throat, knocking her unconscious. Cops investigated the situation and decided there was enough evidence to charge Perkins, who is free on $1,000 bail, with misdemeanor assault. Thunder GM Sam Presti issued a statement in response: “We are aware of the allegations and take this matter seriously. We are in the process of gathering more information and have no further comment at this time.” In 2011, Perkins was arrested on charges of public intoxication and disorderly conduct for his alleged involvement in a fight outside a bar in Beaumont, Tex.

Montana Woman Too Drunk to Get Out of Car, Calls 911

A Billings, Montana woman was charged with felony DUI after becoming so intoxicated that she had to call 911 to get out of the car, the Billings Gazette reports. Maybe a sign you shouldn’t be driving. Maybe. Carol Frances Omeara, 55, made an initial appearance in Yellowstone County Justice Court Wednesday. She remained jailed as of Thursday on $3,000 bond. Omeara was arrested Tuesday after a 911 call in which she said she couldn’t get out of her vehicle. The dispatcher asked if she was having medical or mechanical issues. Court records indicate the caller replied she was too drunk, and she wasn’t kidding. Prosecutors say Omeara’s blood-alcohol level was 0.311 percent. Point three-one-one percent! That’s 3-4 times the legal limit at which a driver is considered legally intoxicated. Sadly but not surprisingly, records say Omeara has three previous DUIs.

Glee Recap: The Quarterback

After news broke this summer that Cory Monteith had died ,  Glee fans began to wonder just how the show would go on in his absence. Tonight,  Glee paid tribute to the late star  and his character in what might be one of the most emotional episodes of television we’ve seen in quite a long time. Here’s a recap of the tragic action: The episode takes place three weeks after Finn Hudson’s funeral as the glee club gathers to say their own goodbyes. There was no mention of how Finn Hudson died, only that he had.  In true  Glee fashion, characters paid tribute to Finn in song. Amber Riley’s vocals are sorely missed around the McKinley choir room. Tina still can’t get a reasonably story line.  Burt and Carole were heartbreaking. ( It was all heartbreaking. ) Without Finn around to tell him he’s a good person, Puck has decided to join the Air Force. Santana plans never to return to McKinley.  Considering the circumstances, everyone in the cast was amazing, especially Lea Michele as Rachel. What did you think of tonight’s  Glee tribute to Cory Monteith? Be sure to head over to our  Glee review for a more in-depth discussion of “The Quarterback.”   So moving! Kind of manipulative Just very uncomfortable to watch View Poll »

Hannah Anderson: Kidnapper Played Russian Roulette With Me!

Hannah Anderson, 16, claims a family friend handcuffed her, bound her feet with a zip tie and tried to force her to play Russian roulette with his pistol. The Southern California teen described new details of the frightening encounter with James Lee DiMaggio in a Today show interview on Thursday. Hannah Anderson on Today Her sit-down comes as an author prepares to release a scathing new book that questions the teen’s story in the case that captivated the U.S. this year. According to Hannah Anderson , DiMaggio used zip ties to bind her feet and then told her that he was going to take her to Idaho to help him settle there. At that point he would release her, the San Diego-area teen claims he stated. Hannah was ultimately saved by FBI agents and returned to California. “He told me that he was going to kidnap me and take me to Idaho, where my intention was just to carry his backpacks to the river,” she said on Today . “And that he was gonna live there. And then he’d get me home afterwards.” DiMaggio said her mother, Christina, and 8-year-old brother, Ethan, were alive. He then forced her to play Russian roulette on his couch, Anderson said. “And when it was my turn, I just started crying and, like, was freaking out. And he said, ‘Do you want to play?’ And I said, ‘No.’ And I started crying.” “And then he’s, like, ‘OK.’ And he stopped.” DiMaggio was killed by FBI agents in the Idaho wilderness August 10, a week after he allegedly abducted the 16-year-old and killed Christina and Ethan. The remains of Anderson’s 44-year-old mother and brother were later found in the burned home. Hannah said she is “just mostly sick and angry.” The teen’s disappearance triggered a massive search and rescue effort spanning much of the western U.S. and parts of Canada and Mexico. The Amber Alert helped, in more ways than one, as it has “helped me keep going through healing and stuff, knowing that people were looking for me.” Since her rescue, Anderson has avoided most interviews, preferring instead to respond to fans and confront skeptics directly on social media sites. Critics see something fishy in a flurry of texts between Hannah and DiMaggio before the abduction as well as a letter from the teen in DiMaggio’s house. Author Chelsea Hoffman said she grew suspicious as she observed Hannah’s behavior following her return, prompting her to write “The River of No Return.” The book is set for a November 2 release. Authorities say Hannah was undoubtedly a victim. She has harsh words for critics, including one who asked why she hadn’t run away from DiMaggio, 40. “How do you know he never had me handcuffed,” Anderson wrote. “Because there you are wrong. Don’t assume things you don’t know. Just stop.”
