Kim Kardashian to Party in Vegas for 33rd Birthday

Kim Kardashian is clearly back. The reality star is back to posing for photographer, talking about her weight and Facebooking up a storm. But Kardashian will truly return to the celebrity gossip scene on October 25 when she hosts a party at Tao in honor of her 33rd birthday. She posted the following invitation today online: The nightclub is located in the Venetian Hotel and Casino on the Vegas strip and you can purchase tickets at the TAO website for either $40 (guys) or $20 (girls). Though we have no idea why anyone would do this. For her 32nd birthday, Kim and Kanye West vacationed in Italy. A year before that, she parties at another Las Vegas nightclub, Marquee. And a year prior to that , Kim also celebrated the big 3-0 at TAO. As for what Kardashian has been up to more recently? She will voice an alien on American Dad and she posted a photo of herself on that animated show’s set this week. Check it out here:

Rebecca Sedwick Suicide: Two Girls Arrested For Bullying 12-Year-Old

Instead of boarding the school bus as usual September 10, Rebecca Sedwick changed the name on her cell phone to “That Dead Girl” and sent a text to a friend. “I’m jumping and I can’t take it anymore,” the 12-year-old wrote, then proceeded to climb a tower at an abandoned cement plant and leap to her death. Rebecca Sedwick Commits Suicide After Cyber-Bullying Police believe Rebecca had been bullied for more than a year, and two girls, ages 12 and 14, have been charged with aggravated stalking as a result. Deputies arrested the girls and released them to their parents’ custody. The 14-year-old girl, whose name is being withheld, allegedly began taunting Rebecca Sedwck in the halls of Crystal Lake Middle School in Lakeland, Fla. The 14-year-old also started dating Rebecca’s former boyfriend. Rebecca was reportedly “terrorized” by as many as 15 girls on social media, receiving messages like “you should die” and “why don’t you go kill yourself?” According to police, the 14-year-old and the 12-year-old, whose name is also being withheld, stepped up the bullying. The Sherriff’s Office reports: “Several students corroborated stories of both girls bullying Sedwick … through name-calling, intimidation, threats to beat her up, and at least one physical fight.” Rebecca switched schools, but the bullying continued online. After Rebecca killed herself, one of the girls posted on Facebook, “yes, I believed Rebecca and she killed herself I don’t give a [expletive],” police say. “Words are hurtful,” Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said. “They are as hurtful – and sometimes more hurtful – than sticks and stones. Ask Rebecca’s family.”

Kate Middleton and Prince William Select Prince George Godparents: Who’d They Pick?

Kate Middleton and Prince William have named three godparents for their newborn baby Prince George, and their choices are a break from tradition. Bypassing Prince Harry, Pippa Middleton, and the usual royal suspects, Will and Kate instead tapped three old friends from childhood and college: Fergus Boyd, a friend from the University of St. Andrews Emilia d’Erlanger, a long-term friend of Prince William who also has known Kate Middleton since their time at Marlborough College Hugh van Cutsem, one of his oldest childhood pals No other members of the royal family have ever selected as godparents friends who didn’t have royal ties. William and Kate: They’re just like us! There’s talk, however, that George will have six godparents in all, meaning Prince Harry, Pippa Middleton and James Middleton still stand a good chance. Still, pretty cool move on the royals’ part as usual. A godparent is supposed to serve as a spiritual guide for a child, as well as a caretaker in the event that something happens to the child’s parents. It can be a huge responsibility, especially to parents who choose to baptize their babies and who take the selection of a godparent very seriously. William and Kate are very close to their siblings, so this isn’t a snub. As we said, they may end up as godparents as well. But either way, it’s interesting. William Tell: Who is Lauren Conrad’s Fiance?

Lauren Conrad is engaged to William Tell, her boyfriend of almost two years. Everyone who knows or feels like they know her from TV is happy for her.  Well, maybe not Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag . But you know what we mean. LC confirmed her engagement to William Tell this weekend. Here’s a look at the man who put a ring on The Hills and Laguna Beach star’s finger! Just like Lauren, William was born and raised in Southern California. A USC law student, he studied music and business as an undergrad. In random news, Tell is also a singer-songwriter whose tune “Just for You” can be found on the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants soundtrack. He released his solo debut album, You Can Hold Me Down , in 2007. While his relationship isn’t playing out online as so many tend to do these days, William, 33, did re-tweet a cute Instagram from Conrad last summer. “That moment when you realize the USC colored scarf you are knitting for your boyfriend might look exactly like a hogwarts scarf… awesome,” she wrote. A source close to the L.A. Candy author said the fact that he’s so non-famous was a big part of knowing Tell was “The One” right when they met him. Lauren Conrad “loves that he is a normal nice guy who isn’t really in the industry. She has never been this head over heels for someone she has been with.” He is of no relation to Swiss folk hero William Tell, who successfully shot an apple off his son’s head with a crossbow, and upon whom a Rossini opera is based. 6-Year Old Dies on Board Carnival Cruise Ship

Very sad news today out of Florida: A six-year old boy passed away after drowning in a crowded swimming pool aboard a Carnival Cruise ship. Detective Javier Baez of the Miami-Dade Police Department told reporters that the incident took place when the child was playing with his older brother, as the unidentified victim was “found at the bottom of the pool.” Attempts to administer CPR were unfortunately not successful. Authorities are talking to witnesses and speaking today with the boy’s family, which hails from Winter Garden. This tragedy comes nearly two years after 32 people died in a Carnival Cruise ship sinking off the Italian coast in early 2012.

The Walking Dead Returns to HUGE Ratings, Set Series High

The Walking Dead didn’t simply return to AMC last night. It returned to positively ridiculous ratings. The Season 4 premiere of this cable smash garnered 16.1 million viewers and an 8.3 rating among the advertiser-friendly demographic of 18-49-year olds, both series records for the drama and the latter higher than ANY series on network television so far this fall. The previous high for total viewers was a relatively paltry 12.4 million for last spring’s Season 3 finale. The Walking Dead Season Premiere Recap “Sincere thanks to the fans, who have welcomed The Walking Dead back for its fourth season with the highest-rated episode in the show’s history,” said AMC President Charlie Collier in a statement. “We could not be more proud of this show and everyone on both sides of the camera who work so hard to give life to this story of character, leadership and survival. Leah Messer and Jeremy Calvert: On the Rocks?

Are Leah Messer and Jeremy Calvert going through tough times? The Teen Mom 2 couple is on the rocks, or close to it, according to a new report. This is serious stuff, not trivial matters of their own doing. They received some potentially devastating news about daughter Ali just about a month ago, and were even forced to sell their house as a result. Now Jeremy, the father of little Adalynn and stepdad of Ali and Aleeah, has left for a matter of weeks, if not more – but he hasn’t moved out for good. Despite rumors circulating online, this is not a second divorce for Leah, who was previously married to Corey Simms. Jeremy is just leaving for work. Jeremy makes his living working on pipelines, a job that often requires being away for weeks or months at a time, straining the mother of three. Still, it’s a sacrifice that the couple must make. The stress of being a single mom is clearly showing on Leah Messer, who has posted numerous tweets bemoaning Jeremy Calvert’s absence. Fortunately, co-stars Kailyn Lowry and Chelsea Houska’s dad Randy have reminded her that her bond with Jeremy is a strong enough to withstand it. Jenelle Evans? Let’s not talk about Jenelle Evans . Stroke Association Questions Miley Cyrus, SNL for Disrespectful Tongue Reference

She’s Twerked into Robin Thicke’s crotch . She’s ridden a wrecking ball naked . She’s exposed her nipple and her landing strip in a series of racy Terry Richardson photos. But a national organization is calling out Miley Cyrus not for any of those stunts… but for one line she uttered while hosting Saturday Night Live last week. Miley Cyrus SNL Sketch During the cold open of the latest SNL (above), Miley said she often sticks her tongue out because “I’m having tiny strokes, yo,” a line The Stroke Association did NOT find funny. “Having a mini-stroke is no laughing matter,” wrote the England-based company in a statement.” Around 46,000 people in the UK have a mini-stroke (Transient Ischaemic Attack) each year, with one in ten leading to a major stroke.” The Association went in to say Miley and the show’s writers did not even have their facts correct. “Sticking out your tongue is not a sign of having a stroke,” the statement continues. “Instead think FAST. If a person’s face starts drooping, they can’t lift their arm or they can’t speak, it is time to call 999.  Having a stroke is a serious medical emergency. With the right care and support, as well as compassion from those around them, people can make fantastic recoveries.” That’s all good to know.
