Drake’s album cover for Nothing Was the Same has been released, and has people wondering if he’s paying homage to none other than Blue Ivy Carter. See below: Created by artist Kadir Nelson, the album cover portrays Drake against a cloudy blue sky facing a young African-American child with an adorable afro. Many fans believed – and not entirely unreasonably – was Jay-Z and Beyonce’s adorable baby daughter Blue Ivy . But it is NOT the case. The cutie is, instead, a younger version of … Drake himself! He explains: “It’s a child version of myself staring at myself now. Sometimes when I think back on this journey, it’s hard to pinpoint all of these moments and it gets foggy.” “Even on past albums when I’ve been trying to tell this story, I’ve got there, but maybe not got there all the way,” the Grammy winning rapper, 26, continued. “And what that album art is to me is, like, this is my most clean, concise thoughts from now, and my best recollection of then. Wife Carries Double Amputee Marine Husband, Inspirational Photo Goes Viral

A photo of a woman lovingly carrying her double-amputee Marine husband has gone viral, and for good reason, but their story is even more touching. The moving image of Kelly Forrester Cottle and Jesse Cottle spread quickly online after it was posted on photographer Sarah Leford’s Facebook page . How they got there is an amazing series of events, both tragic and inspirational. Jesse, 28, lost both of his legs in Afghanistan in 2009 after stepping on an IED, which was caught on video by a fellow marine wearing a helmet camera. The footage was used in a documentary about Jesse called Coming Home . After spending months in the hospital, Jesse met his future wife Kelly, 24, in San Diego on one of his first outings with his new prosthetic legs. “His personality and who he is just outweighs his injuries by so much that you forget about it after a while,” Kelly explained. The professional photo seen above was taken while the couple was visiting family in Idaho, however she says the specific pose was not staged. “Someone had suggested taking photos in the water,” Kelly said. “I was carrying Jesse back to his legs, and the photographer was like, ‘Oh we’ll get a couple of shots of you together.’ It wasn’t planned or anything.” Jesse told ABC News, “The photo really says it all. She’s physically carrying me, but there’s times where she’s carrying me emotionally.” “I actually look at it as a symbol for our whole relationship in general.” Ledford, who took the photo, added, “It’s an amazingly inspiring story that has touched the lives of many Americans. Jesse is not a hero for stepping on an IED.” “He’s a hero because of the way he has handled what was handed to him and how he chooses to continue to conduct his life with his positive attitude.” The couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary on August 18. “If I hadn’t stepped on that IED I wouldn’t have met her,” he said. “I wouldn’t take it back ever.”

Sharolyn Jackson Found Alive 13 Days After Funeral, Officials Perplexed

Sharolyn Jackson, a 50-year-old West Philadelphia woman, recently turned up alive 13 days after her funeral and 27 days following her “death.” As you can imagine, this came as a bit of a shock to her family. Woman Turns Up Alive 13 Days After Her Funeral According to CBSPhilly KYW-TV, the bizarre saga began earlier this summer after Jackson was reported missing from her West Philadelphia home. Police found a body that matched Sharolyn’s description, and two people, including her son, identified it as hers; Jackson thus “died” on July 20. A funeral service was held on August 3. Only 13 days later, Jackson was found alive at a mental health facility, a stunning twist made even more surprising by the fact that her son ID’d her. “The gold standard here [for identifying a body] is visual identification by a family member,” Philadelphia Health Department spokesman James Garrow said. Because of that, his dubious mistake was taken as fact. While the family’s trial-run grieving process is over, the question of how she will be “brought back” from the dead logistically remains to be seen. As does this separate, and over-arching new mystery: Who is actually buried under Jackson’s tombstone?

Evan Ross Cast as Messalla in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay

Evan Ross is the latest name to be added to The Hunger Games franchise. The actor ( 90210 ), 25, will portray Messalla in the final two installments of the story, coming on board Mockingjay as part of the television crew that films propaganda movies in The Capitol. The character serves as the assistant to Cressida, who will be portrayed by Natalie Dormer . Yesterday, Stef Dawson also joined the cast in the role of District 4 victor Annie. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay will come out in two movies and hit theaters on November 21, 2014 and November 20, 2015, respectively. First, of course, Catching Fire will come out THIS November and star Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth and Woody Harrelson, among other big names. Michael Bublè Welcomes Baby Boy!

Now Michael Bublè really has something to sing about: He’s a father! The singer and wife Luisana Lopilato welcomed their first child into the world today, with Bublè excitedly posting a photo of his newborn son along with the caption: “Overjoyed and filled with gratitude at the arrival of our son Noah Bublè.” The Grammy winner and Lopilato got married in March 2011. They announced their pregnancy in January via video message and we could not be happier for the couple. Noah sure looks like a keeper!

Cyndi Lauper Trashes Miley Cyrus Performance as "Sad," Supportive of "Date Rape"

Cyndi Lauper has come out with the harshest rebuke yet of Miley Cyrus. Asked by Australian radio station Gold 104.3 for her thoughts on Miley’s VMA performance , the singer at first labeled it as a “sad” example of a “girl gone wild.” But the Tony nominee then zeroed on the tracks to which Cyrus Twerked alongside Robin Thicke and picked apart the lyrics of ” Blurred Lines .” “She’s in a song that literally says that the blurred lines allowed you to – when a woman says no, she means yes – and that’s frightful because that’s date rape,” said Lauper, adding: “I just felt like that was so beneath her and raunchy, really raunchy. It wasn’t even art.” Lauper is one of many who have expressed shock and horror at Miley’s antics, though the artist herself remains undeterred: She bragged soon afterward about how many Tweets per minute her routine brought in. Here is a look at others that are sort of in Miley’s corner: Billy Ray Cyrus : “She’s still my little girl and I’m still her dad regardless how this circus we call show business plays out. I love her unconditionally and that will never change.” Justin Timberlake : “It’s the VMAs. What did you guys expect?. I like Miley. I like her a lot. I think, you know, she’s young. She’s letting everyone know that she’s growing up. I just think it’s the VMAs. It’s not like she did it at the GRAMMYs. Let her do her thing. Paris Jackson "In a Good Place," Getting "Help She Needs," Katherine Jackson Says

Katherine Jackson says that her ailing granddaughter Paris Jackson, who tried to take her own life earlier this year, is getting the help she needs. Things have taken a turn for the better, as well. “She is in a good place,” the 83-year-old said. Katherine Jackson Speaks on Paris Jackson Paris Jackson , 15, has been under doctors’ care since June 5, which her uncle, Randy Jackson, recently described on Twitter as “much too long.” That led to a rebuke by her mom, Debbie Rowe . But Katherine Jackson, the teen’s legal guardian, maintained that Paris is “doing much better” and her treatment is “going good, really good.” “All I wanted these kids to be is happy. The night [Michael Jackson] died Paris was crying and said ‘I want to go and see Daddy, I don’t want to be without him.'” “She’s my baby. It’s hard for me, really hard.” “They were sheltered a lot when Michael raised them ,” Katherine said. “I had thought about it and I said ‘I am not going to raise them like that.” “But Michael had a good reason.” “He was trying to protect them. He instilled good manners but it’s a different generation, of course, and I don’t understand the whole social media thing.” “They are always on their phones.” Before her hospitalization, Paris was an active presence on Twitter. She even had her biological mother, Debbie, tweet on her behalf last month: “My daughter has asked that I extend a huge thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers and support,” Rowe wrote. “She is strong like her father.” Here’s wishing all of them only the best.

Chris Brown: CLEARED of Alleged Nightclub Assault!

Score another legal victory for Chris Brown, who is off the hook for his alleged assault on a female club-goer in Orange County earlier this summer. Deanna Gines, 24, claimed he violently shoved her down at Heat Ultra Lounge, causing ligament damage to her knee that would require surgery. Her injuries were suspicious from the start, however, and the club owner denied that Chris was involved in any wrongdoing (as did the star himself). The nail in the proverbial coffin was Gines walking around on her “injured” leg after the alleged incident, as the Anaheim City Attorney tossed the case. Deanna is still threatening to sue Chris for her so-called suffering, which will clearly not result in him losing, but may well rile the singer up on Twitter. Speaking of Chris Brown Twitter rants , he went off on an EPIC one after being sentenced to 1,000 hours of community labor (below), but that’s okay. Stef Dawson Cast as Annie Cresta in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay!

Stef Dawson has joined the cast of The Hunger Games. The Australian actress will come on board the final two installments of this blockbuster franchise as Annie Cresta, the District 4 Victor and love interest of Sam Claflin’s Finnick Odair. Dawson is the second actress in the past couple weeks to be named to The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Parts 1 and 2, as Natalie Dormer is signed up to portray the rebellious Cressida in the movies that are scheduled for release in late 20125 and 2016, respectively. Mockingjay will be directed by Francis Lawrence and – SPOILER ALERT! – follow Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, who leads a rebellion against the corrupt Capitol its leaders. But we’re getting ahead of ourselves with this casting news. Long before Mockingjay hits theaters, Catching Fire will come out on November 22, 2013. We cannot wait.
