It’s clearly going to be a strange season ahead on Glee . Following the death of Cory Monteith, the show has announced that it will also kill off his character of Finn, though creator Ryan Murphy recently confirmed Finn’s passing will NOT be the result of a drug overdose. But the series won’t simply be doom and gloom doing forward, of course. There are musicals to stage and upbeat tracks to cover. With that in mind, Fox has released the first promo for Glee Season 5, which doesn’t reveal a great deal about what’s to come, aside from showing us a very enthusiastic Mr. Schuester on the September 26th premiere. San Francisco 49ers star quarterback Colin Kaepernick poses shirtless on the new cover of GQ, hitting newsstands just in time for the new NFL season. The upstart came out of nowhere to lead San Francisco to the Super Bowl last season. What does he have planned for an encore here in 2013? We put nothing past him. A high school player who received no Division I college offers, and who wasn’t even deemed good enough to start last fall, he does not lack for overconfidence. Humble beginnings and a diverse background define Colin, adopted by Teresa and Rick Kaepernick, married high school sweethearts from Wisconsin. Biological and racial differences did not impede the love the Kaepernicks felt for their son. In fact, his dad says they brought them closer together. “Colin knew from the beginning that he was different,” says Rick. “We’d just say, ‘You’ve got such beautiful brown skin! We’re jealous! We never wanted him to feel he was white or that he should be. Only to be who he needed to be.” That would be a guy with swagger to spare – and SERIOUS tattoos – but don’t write him off as a dumb jock or a one-trick pony in the game of life. Colin graduated high school with a 4.1 GPA before moving on to the University of Nevada, where he was also a good student … so he’s the whole package. Once again, the pop great is up to her famed chameleon tricks, donning a variety of outrageous clothing choices and hairstyles for all four covers. Take a look at the quartet of Gaga images below … Whether she’s a brunette or a blonde, nearly topless or fully clothed, rocking an iridescent plastic jacket or see-through jacket, Gaga is back in full force. Although all four covers depict her in see-through clothing to a degree, it’s the Lady Gaga topless photos inside the issue that are truly eyebrow-raising. She bares all, many times over, in both frontal and side shots that are racy, even by her standards, and have some fans wondering if she’s too skinny. Miley Cyrus has taken a break from grabbing her crotch and standing on her hands to announce the release date for her upcoming album. Earlier this evening, the singer simply posted on Twitter: #Bangerz #Oct8th. So there you have it, fans. The artist hasn’t been very open about what fans can expect from the album, but based on her evolving persona and ever-maturing personality/appearance, we doubt it will be filled with run of the mill pop songs. Miley has already made headlines with the video for her first track off the CD, though she insists she isn’t trying to brainwash anyone via “We Can’t Stop.” Look for Cyrus to perform August 25 at the MTV Video Music Awards and if you think you’ve heard a lot from her recently, prepare yourself for plenty more Miley as we get closer and closer to October. Having allegedly been stuck many times by Lamar Odom, Jennifer Richardson is now sticking it to Khloe Kardashian with explosive new details regarding her affair with the basketball player. First, Odom’s self-proclaimed mistress described Khloe’s husband as a freaky lover . Now, she tells In Touch Weekly: Lamar wanted her to get pregnant! “We talked about how much he wanted me to have his baby,” says Richardson. “Lamar is baby crazy – that’s all he talks about. That was probably 70 percent of our conversations.” What makes this allegation especially heartbreaking is how open Khloe has been about her fertility problems . Odom and Richardson never did conceive, of course – but it wasn’t for a lack of trying! And there were times Jennifer thought she may have been expecting. “I’m not going to lie,” Richardson tells In Touch. “I thought I could be [pregnant] a few times.” Jennifer also says Lamar told her that he “loved” her. His job may be to beat up opponents inside the ring, but John Cena has nothing but love for Darren Young outside of it. In light of this WWE Superstar becoming the first active wrestler to come out as gay , the face of that company was asked by TMZ for his reaction to the news. “Darren’s a great guy,” Cena said . “That’s a very bold move for him. And congratulations for him for actually finally doing it.” Cena can relate to the difficulties in making such an admission because he has a gay brother – and is confident that no one in the WWE will care about Young’s sexuality at all. There’s only one thing folks care about inside Vince McMahon’s organization. “For us, it’s entertainment … and if you’re entertaining you shouldn’t be judged by race, creed, color or sexuality … as long as you’re entertaining.”

Devin Langford, a VERY drink Florida man, was arrested for DUI recently … and tried to urinate out of the police cruiser window en route to the station. His attempt did not go as planned. Drunk Man Tries to Urinate Out of Cop Car Window Pulled over for speeding, Langford was promptly given sobriety tests due to his “red, glassy, bloodshot eyes,” and the “plethora of empty beer cans” in his truck. Obviously, he failed the tests, and was put in a squad car to be taken to the county jail. On his way, he felt nature’s call and told the officer he had to go. The arresting officer, Brian Bell, told Langford to wait until they got to jail, but he said he couldn’t hold it that long and asked if he could urinate in the car. You’d think this would – pardon the expression – piss off the cop. But Bell was understanding (or just trying not to get into an argument with a wasted guy). Bell told him if he had to go, to just do it. Langford was so touched, he decided to avoid urinating in the car by attempting to aim it out the window. While Bell said he’d prefer if Langford just wet his pants, the suspect went ahead with his plan … and peed all over the passenger seat and floorboards. Better luck next time. He was not charged for the urination fail at least. Later, when they arrived at jail, Langford told Bell, “I might be a little drunk, but I’m not a lot of drunk.” The breathalyzer (.138 percent and .141 percent in two attempts) said otherwise, but at least he scored around a .875 on the unintended comedy scale.
Lindsay Lohan. Kenny Powers. If there were ever a match made in heaven , this would be it, and the troubled actress is reportedly headed to Eastbound & Down on HBO to make it happen. Spoiler alert re: her role … According to TMZ, Lindsay will play the adult version of Kenny’s illegitimate daughter on the series finale. She’s currently filming on set in North Carolina. Kenny’s baby seemed like destined to be Lindsay Lohan -esque, with its nursery stocked with bongs and sex toys … and its dad being Kenneth Powers. It’ll be LiLo’s first acting gig since Liz & Dick and The Canyons , both of which brought THG a lot of material … but not exactly widespread critical acclaim. As with Eastbound & Down , of course … we watched.
Talk about an engaging episode of Top Chef Masters! Both competition and love was in the air, as Lindsay Price surprised fiancee Curtis Stone with an engagement party, one for which the remaining contestants had to cook. We’ll allow the mixing of business with pleasure in this entertaining case. Based around the installment’s Elimination Challenge, the chefs were split into three teams and had to plan a menu around Curtis and Lindsay’s tastes, which mostly revolved around chocolate and Korean barbecue. In the end, Red Team members Sue, Douglas and David were all named winners for their impressive creations: Umami Broth, Crab Beignet and Cheesecake Pop. But whose dessert was not dripping with chocolate and who therefore got sent packing?
