This dude was ready to suit up, as he pleaded his case in a letter sent to Commissioner David Stern: But here’s the thing: by rule, the league must reply to anyone who seeks Draft entrance. Which is why Vice President Andy Taub wrote back to the Hoboken resident, acknowledged his college degree was awarded in 2010 and concluded: As a result, you were eligible for the draft immediately following your senior year, and are now a free agent eligible to sign with any NBA team. HA! Hilarious! And even funnier? You know the Charlotte Bobcats are considered this guy’s services. He couldn’t exactly make them worse.

Lindsay Lohan’s Adderall nightmare appears to be very real. The Betty Ford Center have cut off her precious supply, after evaluating her this week and determining that she does NOT need her ADHD pills. Now she’s allegedly planning to bolt from the place ASAP. The rehab facility almost never gives people over age 15 the powerful drug, due to its addictive qualities and the fact that harmful meds can treat ADHD. Many celebrity types misuse Adderall as a weight-loss drug. If we were talking about a normal person who realized she had issues and took rehab seriously, she’d probably suck it up and deal. But this is Lindsay Lohan . She wants out because they are hard-nosed about Adderall. LiLo reportedly wants to switch facilities (again), but it’s hard to see Judge Jim Dabney and prosecutors ignoring Betty Ford doctors by letting her. The star’s Adderall use / controversy is nothing new, sadly. It was a non-negotiable upon entering rehab. She refused to check into any facility for her COURT-ORDERED 90-day stint unless they allowed it. And they had to allow her to smoke cigarettes, too. Anyone else see something wrong with this picture? It’s not about the pills or the cigs, but the fact that she’s clearly just going through the motions. The cast of Seth MacFarlane’s upcoming film A Million Ways to Die in the West has just gotten bigger. Neil Patrick Harris has joined the film, which marks MacFarlane’s second live-action comedy. MacFarlane stars as a dopey cowboy whose girlfriend leaves him. In order to become more manly, he begins to train with an infamous outlaw, but ends up falling for his wife. Amanda Seyfried, Charlize Theron, Liam Neeson, Giovanni Ribisi, and Sarah Silverman also star. A Million Ways to Die in the West is set to premiere May 30, 2014.

Michelle Knight, one of the three Cleveland kidnapping victims found alive earlier this week, has reportedly shunned her family following her rescue. Knight had been missing for 11 years when she was found in a dungeon-like Cleveland house with Amanda Berry , 27, and Gina DeJesus, 23. Knight had been in the house the longest and suffered brutal injuries at the hands of her captor, Ariel Castro , who is charged with rape and kidnapping. But while the two other freed captives have returned home to cheering crowds and yards full of balloons, Knight did not enjoy a similar scenario. Instead, the Cleveland kidnap victim has, according to reports, shunned her family for thinking she had just run away and failing to look for her. Knight’s mother and grandmother have been to Cleveland this week since news of her rescue broke, but Michelle has kept both of them at bay. “No, we haven’t [seen her], on her request. She does not want to be seen by family,” said Deborah Knight, the victim’s grandmother, to ABC News. Knight has opted for seclusion since her astonishing rescue. The kidnap victim has not shunned her entire family. One of her two brothers, Freddie Knight, did have a chance to visit his sister in the hospital. “Her skin was white as a ghost,” said Freddie Knight. “She told me she was just excited to start a new life.” That may be a long and painful process. It appears Michelle suffered immensely in captivity. Starvation, beatings and forced miscarriages were common. Knight was a 20-year-old single mother when she went missing in 2002, having lost a custody battle and seen officials take away her toddler son. When she was abducted, her family filed a missing persons report. However, police apparently viewed her as a runaway, and her case did not garner the same media attention as the disappearances of DeJesus or Berry. The remarkable ending to the case has garnered huge attention this week, with the three women and neighbor Charles Ramsey being hailed as heroes.
Kate Upton isn’t just featured on the cover of Vogue for the first time, looking fashionable and fantastic in the iconic magazine’s June issue. She’s proclaimed to be “the hottest supermodel on Earth.” The 20-year-old, who somehow ranked eighth on the Maxim Hot 100 list, told Vogue about the struggles of being curvy in a size-0 modeling world. “It was hard at first. You’re like, ‘Is there something wrong with me?'” she says of online haters who label her “fat” or unworthy of “real” modeling. “The things they’re rejecting me for are things that I can’t change.” “I can’t change my bra size. Lindsay Lohan and Brooke Mueller, Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife, are apparently in the same wing of the same rehab center. Somehow we are not surprised. The duo is staying in the hospital wing at The Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, Calif., and they have already run into each other several times. Hopefully no vials of crack were exchanged during those awkward hugs. Linds checked into Betty Ford as a condition of her recent plea deal, but claims she has no drug problem and has only done coke 4-5 times ever. Yeah, right. Brooke Mueller , for her troubled part, makes no such denials. In addition to their well-documented substance abuse problems, the girls have something else in common: Charlie has given them each a ton of money! That’s all we got. It looks like Justin Bieber is doing a lot more than expressing his love for Nelson Mandela while in South Africa. The singer posted a photo to Instagram yesterday of himself and a friend taking advantage of the younger drinking age in that nation, toasting the camera with an Amstel and including with the image a caption that reads: “Beers in the jungle.” Bieber, of course, has come under fire in the past for smoking marijuana , promising fans after photos surfaced that he would “be better.” A can of beer hardly qualifies as a major ethical violation, but considering almost all his followers are underage in the States, was sending out this picture really a good idea?
