Jenna Bush Hager, daughter of President George W. Bush, welcomed her first child , a girl named Margaret Laura, Saturday evening in New York City. The baby, who will go by Mila, is named after her grandmothers, one of whom is former First Lady Laura Bush. Here’s a photo of the happy family: “Both my girls are healthy and well,” new dad Henry Hager told Today , noting that Mila arrived a bit ahead of her due date but is healthy and happy. She weighed in at 6 lbs., 15 oz. and measures 19¼ inches long. Jenna Bush Hager, 32, is a contributor for the NBC morning show and shared a number of family photos, including another intimate moment with Mila below. As for Jenna’s dad, needless to say he’s excited. “We met our beautiful granddaughter [on Sunday],” the 43th President of the United States reports. “Jenna and Mila are healthy. Though I’m still very self-deprecating,” the Fashion Police cohost tells the magazine. “I look in the mirror sometimes and I feel like going back to bed. Everyone has good days, everyone has bad days.” But the good far outweigh the bar these days for Kelly, who is engaged to Matthew Mosshart . Thanks to a series of workouts and healthy recipes , the star has shed 70 pounds. “I don’t compare myself to anybody else,” says 28-year-old star. “It’s OK to have a healthy envy and look up to somebody and set goals, but you have to realize that you’re never going to be exactly that person. A never-before-seen topless photograph of Angelina Jolie from back in the day has surfaced and is expected to fetch big bucks at an art house auction. The picture was taken by famed celebrity photographer David LaChapelle in 2001. He took a series of Angelina Jolie photos when the star was just 25. A number of pics will be auctioned next month during The Wild Side of Photography sale at Christie’s fine art auction house in London, reports indicate. Angelina’s is expected to go for between $30,000 and $46,000. In the picture, Angelina’s famous “Billy Bob” tattoo from her marriage to actor Billy Bob Thornton is front and center as she throws her brown hair back. The white horse she’s posing with is kissing her bare breasts. Not only will the topless photo be up for grabs, but a black and white photo of the star with her current fiance and family is set to hit the auction block too. A shot of Angelina and Brad Pitt posing as husband and wife with a dinner table full of kids in 2005 will also be auctioned off and should bring in up to $15,000.

The actress began in an Aussie-themed hot pink track suit – with koalas imprinted over her breasts – before stripping down to a black leather cat suit. She belted out Eminem’s “Lose Yourself,” Alicia Keys’ “Girl on Fire” and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ “Thrift Shop” in the process. The 43-year-old’s most valuable piece of advice for making love last? “To truly be feminine means being soft, receptive, and – look out, here it comes – submissive,” writes Reece, who took 10 years off from work to raise kids. Also a former model, Reece has been married 17 years to surfing legend Laird Hamilton, with whom shares daughter Reece Viola, 9, and son Brody, 5. She elaborated on the controversial statement on Today Friday: “I think the idea of living with a partner is ‘How can I make their life better?'” she reasoned. “So if I’m the woman and he’s the man, then yes, that’s the dynamic.” “I’m willing and I choose to serve my family and my husband because it creates a dynamic where he is then in fact acting more like a man and masculine and treating me the way I want to be treated.” Being “submissive” isn’t a negative or antiquated thing, she insists. “I think because women have the ability to set the tone that the ultimate strength and showing real power, I believe, is creating that environment.” “I dont think it’s a sign of weakness. Adam Lanza’s mother considered suing Sandy Hook Elementary School, according to a new report, due to the intense bullying her son endured there. Nancy Lanza reportedly believed teachers at the Newtown, Conn., school turned a blind eye to beatings and taunts Adam suffered from his classmates. A relative, speaking to the N.Y. Daily News , claimed that mass murderer Lanza was ridiculed and attacked by fellow students at his boyhood alma mater. “Nancy felt fiercely protective of him,” the relative said. “She was convinced the school wasn’t doing enough to protect Adam. It made her irate.” She was gunned down by 20-year-old Adam Lanza on December 14, 2012. He then drove her car to Sandy Hook Elementary and killed 26 people . Obviously a disturbed individual, Adam had been socially withdrawn for years. It’s hard to pinpoint why or when it started, or if it could’ve been prevented. Still, Nancy struggled with people bullying her son often, family members say, and even went to school in an effort to catch his classmates in the act. “Adam would come home with bruises all over him,” the relative said. “His mom would ask what was wrong, and he wouldn’t say. He would just sit there. “She was trying to get proof. She wanted to know where the bruises came from.” Nancy considered a lawsuit against the school, though it’s not clear if she pursued that. What is clear is that this was a troubled youth from an early age. Relatives said Adam Lanza never seemed emotionally right after his time in Sandy Hook. Nancy Lanza switched him to another school after sixth grade. “He was a sick boy,” the relative told the Daily News . Mother and son shared a Newtown home where they were heavily armed with rifles, knives, Samurai swords, a 7-foot spear and 1,600 rounds of ammunition. Investigators found a Sandy Hook report card inside the house, along with a holiday gift card from mother to son with a check for him to buy a new gun. The tragedy has sparked nationwide gun control discussion, with Connecticut recently passing the nation’s toughest laws; federally, the debate rages on.

Ashley Judd has landed a mother of a role. The actress – who will not be running for Kentucky Senate – has been cast in Divergent as Natalie Prior, the parent of Shailene Woodley’s Tris. Divergent will be released on March 21, 2014 and is based on Veronica Roth’s dystopian bestseller. Production got underway this week in Chicago, with Aaron Eckhart on board as Judd’s fictional husband; Jai Courtney as Eric ; and Kate Winslet as Jeanine Matthews. The movie will tell the story of a female teenager hoping to break free from her homogeneous society, a society that separates people based on human traits.
Kermit Gosnell, a Philadelphia doctor, is on trial for performing gruesome, illegal late-term abortions that led to the death of a woman and seven infants. In Pennsylvania, abortions after 24 weeks of gestation are against the law. Gosnell regularly performed the procedure at 30 weeks of gestation or later. Gosnell’s clinic has been labeled a “house of horrors” and is beyond sickening, no matter where you stand on the issue of abortion rights’ legality. The case has already had a profound effect politically. Anti-abortion advocates are using the high-profile case, which first made headlines in 2010, to boost support for new restrictions nationwide. One of those is TRAP (Targeted Regulation of Abortion Providers) laws imposing strict architectural standards on clinics that perform only first-trimester abortions. Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of the Susan B. Anthony List, implied on Friday that TRAP laws are all directly inspired by the Kermit Gosnell case. Dannenfelser said in a statement about Virginia’s new regulations: “Since Kermit Gosnell’s ‘house of horrors’ clinic was discovered in 2010, several states have enacted measures to ensure women going into abortion facilities are treated with basic dignity and respect.” Not surprisingly, the doctor has galvanized the pro-life movement with his misdeeds. The images (not shown here) from his trial are graphic and horrific. But others, like Ilyse Hogue, president of NARAL Pro-Choice America, argue that abortion rights opponents are drawing the wrong lesson from the case. Hogue argued that the TRAP regulations could shut down many safe and legal abortion clinics by requiring them to undergo cost-prohibitive renovations. That, she said, could increase the chances of another Gosnell. “Kermit Gosnell’s so-called clinic is a peek into the world before Roe v. Wade,” she said, “and this is exactly what our opponents are driving us to.” Instead of encouraging more restrictions on rights, Hogue said the Gosnell trial should remind people of the need for safe and affordable abortion care: “This is exactly what happens when you place undue restrictions and you try to shame women to keep them from exercising their constitutional right to safe and legal abortions.” “You make them victims to people like Gosnell, because in desperation they’ll turn anywhere.” “You want to drive people like Gosnell out of business? Then you actually support medical facilities and the right of women to safe and legal abortion.”
