According to THR , Prince Akeem’s love interest in the OG flick has now signed on to return for the sequel! Shari Headley will be reprising her role as the beautiful Lisa McDowell. There’s no word on exactly how she will be incorporated into the storyline, but as long as she’s in the building we are HERE for it! Coming 2 America is currently set for a December 18, 2020 release, but prior to that you can see Shari in a comedy series called On Becoming a God in Central Florida starring Kirsten Dunst. Source: Johnny Nunez / Getty Talk Show Queen Embroiled In Nasty Split With Former Manager Kevin Hunter Wendy Williams’ acrimonious divorce from her estranged alleged cheater hubby Kevin Hunter may never see the inside of a courtroom. A judge last week ordered Williams and her ex Hunter attend divorce settlement talks in the wake of their split. Lawyers for both sides were in family court last week for a status conference, where the judge ordered them to meet to see if they can make a deal. The settlement meeting is now scheduled for November 2019, according to court papers obtained by BOSSIP. At issue is Hunter’s insistence that Williams pay him alimony and both sides wanting their assets split down the middle. Hunter also wants Williams to pay him child support and his lawyer’s fees. One nugget of good news that came out of the hearing was that both sides reported that they were able to settle custody and parenting time for their son, Kevin Jr., 18, according to court documents. Williams filed for divorce from her husband of almost 20 years in April 2019, citing irreconcilable differences after Hunter allegedly had a longstanding affair with a masseuse that culminated with her giving birth to their out of wedlock daughter. In his counterclaim, Hunter said the pair had been living apart six months and asked that Williams’ complaint for divorce be thrown out. We’ve reached out to Williams’ spokeswoman for comment.

It wasn’t long ago that Lauren and Josiah Duggar revealed to the world that they were expecting a baby girl . The couple recently took a break from Duggar Baby Mania to celebrate their first wedding anniversary . Now it’s back to business as Lauren blesses her fans with a new baby bump photo, and from the looks of it, she couldn’t be happier! On Sunday Lauren posted this latest pic to the joint Instagram account that she and Josiah share. The shot shows Laruen smiling peacefully as she looks down at her ever-growing belly. Maybe it’s the pregnancy, maybe it’s a filter, but Lauren’s definitely got a healthy glow about her. Lauren is sporting one of her characteristically modest outfits — a light blue, spaghetti-strap maxi dress with a geometric pattern, over a plain white t-shirt. The look seems comfy, and elegant in its simplicity. The shot is also smartly staged, with Lauren’s dress really popping against the greenery of the background. In the caption, Lauren says she feels blessed by this new preganancy, but also reflects on the pain of losing her first one. “Life is such a gift and something I cherish more now,” Lauren captions, “with all that we have gone through this past year.” “This pregnancy hasn’t been easy,” the 20-year-old reveals. But she is definitely grateful to have this second chance. “I treasure every moment,” Lauren says. Throughout their heartbreaking stuggle with the miscarriage, Lauren and Josiah remained hopeful. It’s nice to see their patience rewarded with a sweet new baby on the way. So far, there’s no word on what name the two have picked out for their new baby girl. But the Duggars have mastered the art of letting more baby news trickle out on a regular basis. After a worldwide social media push urging MTV to honor Missy Elliott’s music video artistry, the network has decided to honor the rapper with this year’s Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. Missy has been nominated for 41 VMAs over the course of her career, winning seven. This year will mark the rapper’s first performance at the VMAs since 2003 when she performed “Work It.” The same year, she took home the award for Video of the Year. “Missy’s impact on the music landscape is indelible,” Viacom’s Head of Music and Music Talent Bruce Gillmer said in a statement. “Her creative vision across production, performance and songwriting is unmatched.” MTV is going a step further, linking up with Pepsi to honor Missy with celebrity and fan videos celebrating her legacy. The network is also planning a pop-up that will immerse attendees in some of her iconic videos. No word on a location for that pop-up museum yet, but it’s slated to be somewhere in NYC between August 24th and 25th. The Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award has been given out at the VMAs since 1984 and was named after the King of Pop in 1991.
