Serena Williams Forced To Withdraw From Rogers Cup Tournament [VIDEO]

During her match against Bianca Andreescu, a back injury got the best of her and prevented her from finishing the match. Andreescu is now the first Canadian to win the Rogers Cup in 50 years. “It started yesterday in my match. It just got worse,” Williams said about her injury according to the NY Post. “My whole back just spasmed to the point where I couldn’t sleep and I couldn’t really move.” Sign Up For Our Newsletter! Email Submit After Williams withdrew from the game she broke down in tears. “I’m not a crier, but, thank you guys,” Williams said through her tears. “I’m sorry I couldn’t do it today. I tried but I just couldn’t do it.” The 23-time Grand Slam winner was only able to last 16 minutes in the match but her opponent came by her side to give her props through the tears. “I watched you your whole career. If you’re not caught up, Miley Cyrus recently split with her husband Liam Hemsworth after less than a year of being married. Meanwhile, The Hills: New Beginnings star Brody Jenner also split from his wife Kaitlynn Carter after a year of tying the knot, according to PEOPLE . Now the juicy part is, Miley and Kaitlynn recently took a little boat trip with some friends near Lake Como in Italy, and photos caught the pair sneaking some kisses . It’s possible these weren’t some buddy-buddy pecks either, considering Miley has said before that she’s “very sexually attracted to women.” Photos on Kaitlynn’s Instagram definitely show that the two are pretty tight. Pics of Liam and I holding hands on the beach coming soon.” Clearly, Miley peeped the fun in the comment sectioned and clapped back with a comment of her own: “Go take a nap in your truck and cool off #HotGirlSummer.” Receipts can be found here . Ironically, before all this, Brody commented on Kaitlyn’s picture with Miley, writing “Hot girl summer.” It seems Miley was only echoing the words Brody already wrote. Makes you wonder if Brody will support Miley and Kaitlyn if they were to become a couple. We won’t hold our breath.

Shady Business? Jeffrey Epstein Reportedly Hadn’t Been Checked On For Hours Before Apparent Suicide

Source: Patrick McMullan / Getty Jeffrey Epstein Was Reportedly Left Unattended For Hours Before Apparent Suicide To say there’s a lot of skeptics out there when it comes to Jeffrey Epstein’s apparent suicide is an understatement. According to reports, correctional officers at the New York City prison that was housing the financier and convicted sex offender didn’t check in on him for hours leading up to his apparent suicide on Saturday. Making things even more confusing, this also came after his cellmate was transferred for reasons that were not immediately made clear. The 66-year-old was found unconscious in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center, and later pronounced dead. Following reports from weeks before that the billionaire was on suicide watch, people immediately began asking questions about how Epstein could have been able to kill himself while in such a high-security facility. Then, it was reported that f or “several hours” leading up to his death, correctional officers hadn’t checked in with Epstein at all — despite being required to visit him every 30 minutes, according to The Washington Post . Epstein was placed on suicide watch in July and was been given psychiatric evaluations after he was found with bruising on his neck, but was taken off suicide watch by the end of the month. New York City’s chief medical examiner, Barbara Sampson, said on Sunday that an autopsy was performed but more information was needed before a cause of death could be determined. Among those skeptical about the financier’s apparent suicide are *surprise surprise* Donald Trump. The Cheeto-In-Chief retweeted a conspiracy theory on Saturday, alleging (without any evidence, of course) that former President Bill Clinton was somehow connected to the death of the accused sex trafficker. Williams (@w_terrence) August 10, 2019 Trump said just last month that he had not spoken to Epstein since his 2008 guilty plea, and that his relationship with him was no different than that of anyone else in their circle. Jeffrey Epstein was facing up to 45 years in prison.

Deadline reports that Amos will be reprising his role has Cleo McDowell, founder of the McDowell’s fast-food franchise and father of Prince Akeem (Eddie Murphy) love interest Lisa McDowell (Shari Headley). However, there has still been no announcement on whether or not Headley will be returning. He’ll be joining returning actors like Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall and James Earl Jones as well as Wesley Snipes, Jermaine Fowler and Leslie Jones, who be portraying new characters. Reportedly, in the new film Prince Akeem is going to become the King of Zamunda but then finds out he has a son back in America he didn’t know about named Lavelle. So he and Semmi (Hall ) return to the states to groom as a final wish for his father. Coming To America 2 is due in theaters on Dec. 18, 2020.

So much has happened this weekend in the world of celebrity gossip. Like, first of all, true love died when it was announced that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are divorcing after less than a year of marriage. Or, OK, it’s not that dramatic. It’s not like Miley and Liam were the perfect example of Hollywood romance, but their love story did go on for a very long time , and we just hoped they’d make it, all right? Sadly, it appears they simply were not meant to be. In a shocking statement a rep for the couple made to People yesterday, we learned that “Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time.” “Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers,” the statement continued. “They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart.” The rep wrapped things up by asking everyone to “Please respect their process and privacy.” And we would love to do that, we really would, but we just can’t do that right now. Not with everything else that’s been happening. As we said, the divorce announcement came out yesterday, and you know what else came out yesterday? Some photos of Miley kissing someone else. And not just anyone else, either, but Kaitlynn Carter — a woman who, just a couple of weeks ago, was known as Brody Jenner’s wife. This is shaping up to be one wild ride, right? But hold on, it gets better. So we heard about Brody and Kaitlynn’s split just earlier this month, and of course the news about Miley and Liam just came out this weekend — both splits are pretty darn fresh. That makes the photos of Miley and Kaitlynn together questionable, because could their relationship be the reason for the broken marriages? There’s always the chance that they’ve been finding solace in each other’s arms, of course, but the timing is definitely a little suspect. Don’t worry though — Brody doesn’t seem too broken up about it! In one of the photos that Kaitlynn posted of herself with Miley, he actually commented with “Hot girl summer,” along with a flame emoji. That doesn’t sound like the comment from a man with a broken heart, does it? Lots of Kaitlynn’s followers replied to Brody’s comment, and it looks like there are a lot of theories on why he’d leave a comment like this. The most popular theory is that he’s trying to be nice to Kaitlynn so she’ll take him back — which, sorry, she seems a little busy at the moment. The news comes directly from Miley who shared a statement with PEOPLE. “Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time,” a rep for Cyrus told the publication. “Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.” Prior to the split Miley told Elle in their August 2019 cover story that she’s a “non-traditional wife” and admitted to being “very sexually attracted to women.” She’s also called herself a “queer person in a heterosexual relationship.” “I think it’s very confusing to people that I’m married. But my relationship is unique,” said Cyrus. “I don’t know that I would ever publicly allow people in there because it’s so complex, and modern, and new that I don’t think we’re in a place where people would get it,” she said. “I mean, do people really think that I’m at home in a f—ing apron cooking dinner? Source: Patrick McMullan / Getty Kimora Lee Simmons Served With Papers In New Custody Battle Fans have always praised Kimora Lee Simmons for keeping good relationships with all of her exes, but apparently, something took a left turn in her post-relationship relationship with Djimon Hounsou . Back in June on Father’s Day, Djimon complained to paparazzi that he hasn’t been able to see his 10-year-old son in a long time, and now, he’s taking legal action to try and change that. Kimora was served with papers while walking down the street in Beverly Hills on Friday, notifying her that her ex was filing for joint custody of their child, Kenzo. Kimora maintains that Hounsou is just an absent father who rarely wanted to see his son, and that’s the only reason he hasn’t. Hansu’s filings took place on August 1, and indicate that he’s petitioning to establish a parental relationship–a step taken to officially establish who Kenzo’s parents are in the eyes of the law. That might be necessary, since he and Kimora were never legally married. Included in the docs is the fact that Djimon is seeking child support, a custody arrangement with Kimora, along with visitation rights. He is requesting joint joint legal and physical custody between both parents and asks for both parties to have equal time with the child. If the Baby Phat founder is keeping her son from his father, it could be for fear that he might take Kenzo back to Africa with him and never return. Russell Simmons told TMZ that he offered Hounsou a visit with Kenzo just a few days ago, saying that he would take his son to him as long as he signs a document promising not to take the kid to Africa. In case you didn’t know, the “delivert” internet star was arrested over the weekend in St. Louis. BlackAmericaWeb reports that Caldwell was taken into the St. Louis City Justice Center at 1 AM for a few warrants, including speeding and failing to appear in court. After being released, Caldwell said on social media that he was followed by a man he didn’t know who followed him and attacked him outside a hospital. The man allegedly tried to rob him and punched him in the face. Caldwell then “defended himself” and busted out the man’s car windows. Caldwell also took offense to people calling him a “jailbird” and “Andrew Smollett” and he ranted on IG.
