Former NFLer & Reality Star Having A Bad Financial Start To 2017 Ex-NFL star Chad Johnson is not having a great month. First, he lost his $3 million mansion to foreclosure, and now a judge has ordered him to cough up child support and legal fees to his alleged baby mama number six, BOSSIP has learned. A Florida woman named Alexia Farquharson hit Chad with a paternity suit earlier this year. Alexia demanded the court order the ex-NFL star to submit to a DNA test. The woman also wanted Chad to cough up monthly child support and for him to cover her legal bills for having to file the paternity case. Chad has yet to respond to the allegations in court. He was served with the papers on May 1st. Then a hearing was held on May 8th. where the judge heard Alexia’s motion for temporary child support and attorney fees. The judge came back and sided with the baby mama ordering Chad to pay her monthly support during the pregnancy and for him to pay her legal fees for bringing the case. The legal battle could have come at a worse time for the ex-NFL star. He recently lost two of his Florida homes to foreclosure, and his $3 million mansion scheduled to be sold at public auction next month. If Chad turns out to be the father of the kid it wouldn’t be his first rodeo. He has seven kids from six different baby mamas. Back in 2015,
Kylie Jenner has been doing this thing, don't know if you've noticed, where she seems to truly enjoy flaunting her body . Like, she's really, really into it. So it just makes sense that, for her latest photo shoot, she modeled for Flaunt magazine in what may be … well, it's not her raunchiest photo shoot yet , but it's still pretty scandalous. For the shoot, which for some reason was titled “So Many Margaritas, So Little Feeling,” Kylie did her best Barbie impersonation. She's got the long blonde wig, the pink swimsuits, the pink makeup. But we don't remember Barbie ever getting this nasty. 1. Classic Barbie We weren’t kidding about the Barbie vibes, see? 2. So Scandalous Notice how her legs are so shiny, they almost look plastic? 3. Just Lounging Uh oh, see that big scar on her thigh? Probably from thigh implants. SMH. 4. Less Barbie, More Ass Did Barbie ever rock a thong? We’re thinking no. 5. So Shiny! Seriously, what’s up with her legs? Is she wearing tights? Was she oiled up? Why is this happening? 6. Juicy Kylie shared this one on her Instagram page, and captioned it “Life in plastic, it’s fantastic.” Like the “Barbie Girl” song, remember? But also like plastic surgery. View Slideshow
Like millions of other Americans, you might be a fan of the simple sandwiches that have made Jimmy John’s one of the fastest-growing fast food chains in the country. Unfortunately, a story that’s caught the Internet’s attention this week may forever change the way you think of cold meat pressed between two pasty white slabs. As you can see, that’s a photo of a naked man straddling a dead shark. The image has incited outrage on social media for a number of obvious reasons. Even among hunters and fishermen displaying such callous disrespect for one’s prey is considered distasteful and, well, gross. It’s one thing to pose for a photo with your kill, but quite another to grin like a maniac while humping a giant carcass. So what does this have to do with the chain that brought the world the J.J. Gargantuan? Well, there’s a theory circulating online that the animal lover in the pic is none other than Jimmy John’s founder Jimmy John Liautaud. Yes, Jimmy John really exists, and like Colonel Sanders before him, his two great passions are peddling meat and firing large weapons. Liautaud has been criticized in the past for hunting large African game and posting photos of his kills on social media. He renounced the practice in 2015, after finding himself at the heart of a growing controversy: “I choose to hunt and I choose to fish,” he explained at the time. “Everything I’ve done has been totally legal. And the meat has been eaten, if not by me than by someone I’m with. I don’t hunt big African game anymore.” But not everyone believes that Liautaud was sincere when he swore off the big kills. A very vocal contingent on Twitter and Facebook believes that’s Liautaud getting friendly with a shark he killed. Liautaud has denied that he’s the man in the photo in a statement issued to Deadspin earlier this week. View Slideshow: Shark Week Tribute: 11 Famously Fictional Sharks If he’s telling the truth, of course, he deserves to be let off the hook. (Just as we deserve to be forgiven for our bad fishing puns.) But if it emerges that Liautaud is the happy fisherman, then he just dug himself an even deeper hole by lying about it. Either way, it’s been an interesting week in the centuries-old conflict between man and shark .
Former NFL wide receiver Michael D. Jackson has passed away at the age of 48. Jackson divided his eight seasons in the pros between the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens, and he led the league in receiving yards in 1996. After retiring from football, Jackson successfully ran for mayor of his hometown of Tangipahoa, Louisiana. Sadly, it was while he was riding his motorcycle through the streets of his beloved hometown that Jackson’s life was tragically cut short early Friday morning. Police say Jackson was riding his 2013 Kawasaki at a “high rate of speed” when he collided with a car that was backing out of a driveway. The impact of the crash was so powerful that Jackson’s motorcycle smashed through the passenger’s side door of the car and killed the driver, a 20-year-old woman. A full investigation into the accident is being conducted. Tributes to Jackson from fans, friends, and former teammates have been pouring in on social media since the moment that news of his death went public. But while he’s most famous for his career on the playing field, those who knew Jackson best say it’s his commitment to public service that they’ll remember most. In 2008, Jackson entered the political arena and served for four years as the mayor of his native Tangipahoa. “Right now, I want to set a standard,” Jackson told the press upon being elected. “I want to have that standard high enough so that whomever decides to run for this position they will feel obligated to do at least what I have done and far better — so that’s what I want to do.” He added: “I want to set a concrete floor, so we can erect a house here in my hometown.” Though his career was cut short by injury, Jackson put up impressive numbers in several seasons and played alongside some of the legends of the game. He was a teammate of Brett Favre’s during his time at Southern Mississippi University, and he played for Bill Belichick when the future Patriots legend was head coach of the Cleveland Browns. “Michael Jackson was more than a great player, he was a great man,” the Cleveland Browns tweeted. “Our thoughts are with his family and friends. Rest in peace.” View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Died in 2017: In Memoriam
Dwayne Johnson really wants to make sure you know what he may be cooking up for his future. Several months after rumors first circulated that the actor may run for President in 2020 , Johnson spoke to GQ and confirmed that the really is considering this possibility. Explains the magazine’s latest cover subject: “A year ago, it started coming up more and more. “There was a real sense of earnestness, which made me go home and think, ‘Let me really rethink my answer and make sure I am giving an answer that is truthful and also respectful.” Johnson first broached this seemingly ridiculous topic upon being crowned Sexiest Man Alive by People last year. “I started to really think,” he told the publication in November, adding of his mindset: “Could I make a difference? Could I surround myself with really brilliant people to help me make decisions? Do I care about this country? “And when the answers continued to come up yes, then I thought, there’s a good chance.” If you’re thinking this sounds utterly preposterous, due to Johnson’s lack of political experience, consider two things: His finishing move as a WWE Superstar was named The People’s Elbow. Donald Trump is currently President. Both Trump and Hillary Clinton asked Johnson for his endorsement last year, he says. And while this doesn’t make him a qualified candidate on its own, it does make him realize that folks out there care about his opinion. “I feel like I’m in a position now where my word carries a lot of weight and influence, which of course is why they want the endorsement,” Johnsol tells GQ. “But I also have a tremendous amount of respect for the process and felt like if I did share my political views publicly, a few things would happen.” Such as? “I felt like it would either (a) make people unhappy with the thought of whatever my political view was. And, also, it might sway an opinion, which I didn’t want to do.” This is why Johnson turned down all overtures for an endorsement last election. But in light of all that’s happened in just over 100 days since Trump took office, Johnson has a lot to think about. He’s already an expert at giving political responses. Just consider the way he refuses to overtly slam Trump when asked for his take by GQ, simply saying instead: “Personally, I feel that if I were president, poise would be important. Leadership would be important. Taking responsibility for everybody. “[If I didn’t agree with someone] on something, I wouldn’t shut them out. I would actually include them.” Based on the results of November’s election, someone with this attitude will never be elected to The White House. View Slideshow: 13 Reasons Why Dwayne Johnson is the Sexiest Man Alive There is one area in which Johnson is happy to speak out, however. He wants everyone to know what he thinks about the administration’s Muslin ban, and that is this: “I completely disagree with it. I believe in our national security to the core, but I don’t believe in a ‘ban’ that bans immigrants. I believe in inclusion. “Our country was built on that, and it continues to be made strong by that.” Not a bad starting point for a Presidential platform, huh? Would you vote Dwayne Johnson for President of the United States? Yes! No! Only if Vin Diesel is his running mate. View Poll »
The late NFL star and convicted killer Aaron Hernandez was granted an abatement on his conviction for the 2013 murder of Odin Lloyd. What does that mean? It means the former New England Patriots star, who took his own life last month in prison, is now considered not guilty in the eyes of the law. Bristol County (Mass.) Judge Susan Garsh, who presided over the original trial, ruled in favor of the star’s estate, citing a bizarre law. Massachusetts law states that if a defendant dies while a conviction is still in the process of appeal, then the previous verdict is vacated. Hernandez committed suicide late last month while serving a sentence of life without parole for the murder of Lloyd. He was just 27. “Abatement is the law in this Commonwealth and this court is required to follow that precedent,” Garsh said. “The Court has no other choice.” The state is expected to appeal the controversial decision, which will most likely wind up in the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. In other words, the legal battle is just beginning. Hernandez’s attorney, John Thompson, argued that neither his client’s cause of death nor any assumed motives should apply to the law. He also noted there was no precedent in any other ruling on the issue that called for abatement not to be granted in a similar situation. “[The original Lloyd ruling] is not a final conviction,” Thompson said, even though a jury convicted Hernandez of murder. “And that’s what matters.” Prosecutor Patrick Bomberg argued otherwise. Bomberg argued that Hernandez chose to die, thus making a conscious decision to forfeit his appeal as a means of being cleared. This is supported by the suicide note to Shayanna Jenkins that basically says as much, and was never, he says, the intent of the law. According to a state police report, Hernandez even mentioned to an unnamed fellow inmate that he was aware of the abatement law. In one of his suicide notes, he allegedly wrote “YOURE RICH” to Jenkins (above), his fiancee and the father of his four-year-old daughter. “The defendant should not be able to accomplish in death what he could not accomplish in life,” Bomberg said of Hernandez’s efforts. At stake is not just Hernandez’s criminal record, which is a moot point now, but his potential monetary payouts from the NFL franchise. The Patriots may no longer be able to withhold money owed on his contract due to a conviction for murder, as they have been doing. “We are arguing there is a motive to [commit suicide],” Bomberg said, noting the financial benefits; Garsh summarily dismissed that point. “This court cannot know why Hernandez took his life,” Garsh said, citing other possible motives, including the athlete’s increased spirituality. She also noted that other inmates heard via a Boston radio show that Hernandez might be gay or bisexual and trying to hide that. Also complicating matters is that if the Hernandez estate does get paid, the family of Odin Lloyd still has a wrongful death civil suit pending. They, in turn, may be able to access any or all money the Hernandez estate gets, if it comes to that (the Patriots are expected to fight this). The families of Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado, whom Hernandez was acquitted of murdering in 2012, may also be suing his estate. A civil suit requires a lower standard of proof than a conviction in criminal court (see O.J. Simpson’s $33 million judgment, for example). Hernandez estate is currently valued at $0.00. Lloyd’s mother and sister led a large group at the hearing of supporters for Lloyd, a former semi-pro football player and Boston landscaper. That group included Shaneah Jenkins, Lloyd’s former girlfriend and the sister of Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez, who was not present. The Lloyd supporters wept at the ruling. After a lengthy trial, a Bristol County jury ruled in 2015 that Hernandez shot Lloyd six times in an industrial park less than a mile from his home. The Bristol, Conn., native won a national title at the University of Florida and played three seasons with the Patriots, appearing in one Super Bowl. Jessica Simpson just learned, once again, that the Internet can be a horrible place. The proud mother of two celebrated her daughter turning five years old this week by hosting a fun birthday party for little Maxwell, her friends and her closest relatives. It’s unclear exactly where the gathering took place, but it’s quite clear that theme was nautical in nature. How do we know? The young woman of honor was dressed up like a mermaid, striking a fun pose in front of blue and white balloons while wearing a glittery tail and seashell bikini top for a photo alongside her brother, mother and father. How cute, right? How adorable, no? What a precious keepsake for this close-knit family, correct? Apparently not any of these things, according to pathetic critics on the World Wife Web. “My baby Maxwell is 5 years old today,” wrote Simpson as a caption to this seemingly harmless image. Added the artist: “She makes everyone’s life mermaid magical. Happy Birthday to our fairytale princess. Mommy, Daddy, and Ace love you with our “holy hearts” (as Max would say) #MerMax #MAXIDREW #canyoube5forever.” In response to this family snapshot, far too many Instagram users jumped all over Simpson. They accused her of basically making like Farrah Abraham by dressing her child in an inappropriate outfit. “She’s 5. Put some clothes on her. good grief,” one follower actually wrote, while another chimed in as follows: “Kinda sad seeing a 5 year old posing like that…” Really? It is? It’s kinda sad to see a toddler making like Ariel, one of the most famous and beloved characters in Disney history? Simply because her belly is exposed? Look, if you want to insult Jessica Simpson over this photo… don’t. It’s totally innocent and cute. But if you REALLY feel the need to do so, you could maybe question why Simpson felt the need to expose her own cleavage in such an overt manner for a children’s birthday party. She likely doesn’t own any clothing that isn’t skin tight on top, but whatever. Go have a field day with criticism in that area if you’re so inclined. But have we really reached a point in society where a little girl can’t wear a mermaid costume without the girl’s mother being harassed online? Sheesh . Back in February of 2016, the 36-year-old star shared a different photo of Maxwell, in this instance holding a milkshake in her hand and rocking a sassy look on her face. Wrote Simpson as a caption at the time: ” My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard and they’re like it’s better than yours…” This was a a reference to the popular 2003 song “Milkshake” by Kelis, which is all about the singer praising her own oral sex abilities. So, yeah. We understood the comments people made back then about Simpson. But not now. This is just folks looking way, way, way too hard for a reason to be critical of a celebrity. We wouldn’t blame Simpson if she wants to go live under the sea following this incident. Not only are they devoting full-time to floating down there… but there’s not any Internet access, either!
