Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans has a warning for her drug-addicted convict ex-husband Courtland Rogers when he gets out of prison: You’re dead to me, bruh. After serving two years of a three-year prison sentence following a drug conviction, Courtland Rogers is set to walk free on March 18. He’s indicated, according to reports, that he plans on getting in touch with his Teen Mom 2 star ex-wife once he’s finally a free man. This has obviously sparked concerns about how Jenelle, who just welcomed her third child by her third different guy, might respond. Fortunately, whatever you think of her life decisions and antics over the years, the 25-year-old seems to have her head on straight lately. “Hell no,” Evans said when asked if she planned to reconnect with Courtland, with whom Evans had an abortion after getting pregnant. “I’m staying far away from him.” “And he better do the same,” Evans added of her plan to stay as far away from Rogers as she possibly can, next week and forevermore. The two were only married 18 months, but that felt like a lifetime for Evans, who suffered a miscarriage, then became pregnant again. In 2013, both Jenelle and Courtland were arrested on charges of possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia in a domestic dispute. After that, she aborted the child. Ironically, Jenelle is engaged to David Eason , the father of her new baby girl, and Rogers is quite familiar with him for unsavory reasons. Both served time together in North Carolina at the Nuese Correctional Institution, where Eason was held on drug and larceny charges. An officer from the Tabor City Correctional Institution in North Carolina where Rogers is now being held confirmed his imminent release. Part of Rogers’ November 2015 sentence for heroin possession was for being deemed a repeat offender, a habitual felon by the state. However, “there is an advanced supervised release program,” the officer remarked when asked how Rogers is being released early. “They have to meet a certain criteria and not get certain infractions and be in classes to have a reduced sentence,” which he has done. After a video of him injecting himself with heroin in 2014 surfaced online, Courtland confirmed, “I did relapse, see all my track marks?” He was then jailed in the fall of 2015 after he failed to show up for a court date on charges of speeding (seriously) and reckless driving. Rogers also starred in the documentary In the Vein: Hooked on Heroin , which was produced by a local North Carolina TV news station. He and Jenelle divorced in June 2014, after spending a year separated as required by North Carolina state law before making it official. Evans and Eason seem to be doing well, but she’s involved in a nasty custody battle with mom Barbara Evans over her first son Jace. “My mother is ruining our relationship as mother and daughter,” she tweetd recently in response to that conflict. “It’s only getting worse.” “If you guys only saw the texts messages between my mother and I. Shows a lot of truth to why I freak out on her so suddenly.” “My feelings are extremely hurt and this is why I do not attend the live shows. My mentality is very important for my three children.” Jace’s father, Andrew Lewis, is MIA. Jenelle’s second baby daddy, Nathan Griffith, was engaged to her briefly, and now sort of hates her as they frequently spar in court. Like Rogers, Griffith has been arrested following a domestic situation where he allegedly got physical with the Teen Mom 2 cast member. She and Nathan share custody, contentiously, of son Kaiser; Jenelle and David welcomed daughter Ensley to her brood back in January. It’s a lot to keep track of, we know.

Chance The Rapper Meets With Governor Rauner Of Illinois Chance the Rapper is making sure to lend his celebrity to helping his city. The Grammy winner met with Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner on Friday, hoping to help push the official to sign off on immediate funding for poor Chicago Public Schools. Apparently, Rauner vetoed $215 million in school pension assistance last December. When Chance won his Grammys last week , Rauner tweeted out a congratulatory message…Chance replied with a request for a meeting. The Governor had already bobbed and weaved on the meeting, rescheduling after the two were originally due for a sit down this past Wednesday. Every cast member on Teen Mom 2 has been on the receiving end of some harsh criticism from fans. But perhaps no one has taken as much flak (or clapped back as savagely) as Jenelle Evans. In the past, Jenelle, like her co-stars, has blamed MTV editors for her plight, complaining that TM2 producers go out of their way to make her look like a negligent and unfit mother. In some cases, however, Jenelle can’t point the finger at the show, as fans often draw their conclusions from the information that she provides about her personal life. Like the rest of the moms, Jenelle is something of a social media junkie. Unlike the other ladies, however, Jenelle has an arrest record a mile long, a history of violent behavior, and her mother has custody of her eldest son. Needless to say, she makes for an easy target, and her tendency to over-share on Instagram, on Twitter, and in interviews doesn’t do much to help her case. Her latest conflict with fans started last week, when Jenelle announced that she would be appearing on the Teen Mom 2 live after-show. The scheduled appearance required her to travel to Los Angeles, which wouldn’t be a big deal, were it not for the fact that Jenelle just gave birth to her third child in January. Jenelle was slammed by fans for leaving her daughter (who was then just a month old) in order to fly across the country for a television show. To make matters worse, Jenelle missed her appearance and decided to stay in LA an extra week to appear on this Monday’s episode of the after-show. Needless to say, the decision didn’t sit well with fans, many of whom speculated that Jenelle missed Monday’s show because she’d lapsed back into substance abuse. Now, in a new interview with Radar Online, Jenelle is explaining herself in a way that probably won’t satisfy her many haters: “I didn’t want to come on this trip to LA, but I had to because of work,” Evans tells the site. “I put up a big fight for a week and they told me it was a huge deal for me to go. The producer was even calling my phone asking me to go.” She added: “After finding out I could have stayed home like Chelsea [Houska], I have changed my flight instead of staying for this upcoming live show. MTV has still asked me to stay, but I told them I’m leaving no matter what I’m told.” Not surprisingly, the explanation didn’t win Jenelle many converts especially after Chelsea Houska contradicted Evans and pointed out that MTV would never force a new mom to travel against her will. “I’m sure MTV would FORCE a 5-week postpartum mom to do an after show,” tweeted one user. “I hear Jenelle is staying in Cali until the next after show… 10 consecutive days away from baby.
