Bravo is yet to announce a premiere date for The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 5. But fans of this Bravo franchise can expect it to re-launch in October or November. They can also expect two fresh faces to get in on the annual drama: Kenya Moore : A 5’10” former Miss USA winner who has appeared in Waiting to Exhale and Deliver Us from Eva , among other films. Porsha Williams-Stewart : The wife of retired NFL quarterback Kordell Stewart and granddaughter of Civil Rights Leader Hosea Williams. The aforementioned women will join regulars Phaedra Parks, Kandi Burruss, Kim Zolciak, Nene Leakes and Cynthia Bailey, although sources say Zolciak’s role will be greatly reduced due to her pregnancy .* But the tension between Kim and NeNe will remain, as an insider tells In Touch they “are still not speaking,” while Kenya and Porsha “will add some very needed new drama and storylines.” We have no doubt. Producers are likely finalizing their scripts as we type. *UPDATE: Zolciak has given birth to a son!

New England Patriots quarterback and certified hunk Tom Brady graces the cover of VMan magazine’s Fall 2012 issue, looking as … ferocious as ever. The 35-year-old football star was interviewed for the issue by fashion designer Tom Ford, but it’s the Brady cover image getting the most attention. Take a look at it below and see why: As if seeing Gisele Bundchen nude with regularity didn’t make him the luckiest guy alive, he says he’s been blessed by family – past and present. “I grew up [in]…an environment where people weren’t afraid to express how they really felt or to express their emotions,” Tom Brady reflects. “I’m very blessed to be able to do that because with my two boys – I kiss them a thousand times a day. My wife and I are very affectionate.” “It’s just part of our nature.” As for his future after the NFL, he says: “I have to do something [after football]…I don’t know. It’s hard to think about where my interests will take me.” “The only thing I ever wanted to be was a professional football player. Chad kept it short and simple Chad Johnson Releases A Statement About His Domestic Dispute I would like to apologize to everyone for the recent events that have occurred. I would like to wish Evelyn well and will never say anything bad about her because I truly love her to death. I will continue to be positive and train hard for another opportunity in the NFL. To all the fans and supporters I have disappointed, you have my sincerest apologies. I will stay positive and get through this tough period in my life. Love? Chad Johnson: Released By Dolphins After Arrest!

Good news for Chad Johnson: He’s out of jail on $2,500 bond. Bad news: He’s also out of a job. About 24 hours after Chad Johnson’s arrest for domestic violence , the Miami Dolphins released the loquacious, mercurial six-time Pro Bowl receiver. Johnson was released from jail Sunday after his wife, Evelyn Lozada, accused him of head-butting her during an argument in front of their home. Chad, who married Basketball Wives star Evelyn in Miami on July 4, was officially charged with simple domestic battery, a misdemeanor offense. Only five days earlier, Dolphins coach Joe Philbin said Johnson’s roster spot could be in jeopardy if he didn’t temper his freewheeling behavior. This incident apparently was the final straw . Johnson, who recently changed his name back from Chad Ochocinco after four years with that absurd surname, was arrested on Saturday. Allegedly, Evelyn Lozada confronted him about a receipt she found in their car trunk for a box of condoms, police said, sparking an argument. With the two seated in the car, they began talking about the receipt and their marriage, and Chad allegedly got angry and head-butted his wife. Lozada ran to a neighbor’s house and called police. A responding officer said Lozada had a 3-inch cut on her forehead, according to reports, while Johnson did not have any visible marks or bruises. When questioned by police, the NFL star confirmed there had in fact been an argument over the receipt, but said his wife had head-butted him. Johnson has long been known for his unusual antics that annoyed his teammates as well as coaches, yet made him popular with many fans. If convicted, he faces up to a year in jail and a $1,000 fine. Careful Mike, you know how “these folks” get… Michael Vick Says He Wants To Own Another Dog For His Children According to TMZ reports : NFL star Michael Vick wants to own a dog again — and five years after his conviction for illegal dog fighting, he can legally get one — but the question is … should he? The Philadelphia Eagles QB was on Piers Morgan’s show last night, and said he would like to get a dog for his kids. After Vick served 19 months in federal prison … he was banned from owning dogs for 3 years. That ban is about to expire, and Vick thinks having a dog could be “therapeutic” … for his children. He told Piers, “I can’t take that dream away from them. That’s selfish on my behalf.” One positive? Vick says he won’t let his kids get a pit bull. Let’s keep it real. There is NO WAY that Michael “relapses” into his past behavior with animals. He has paid his debt to society and should be allowed to live his life, as he sees fit, without persecution. Epitome of a bad son? Dez Bryant might as well be called Mr.Can’t-Get-Right because his list of off field troubles continues to grow: The Dallas Cowboys wide receiver was arrested on domestic violence charges and is free on bond after an incident in DeSoto, Texas. The DeSoto Police Department told NFL.com that Bryant was arrested Saturday and charged with misdemeanor domestic violence. Bryant was charged with a Class A misdemeanor for assaulting a female family member, police told KDFW-TV in Dallas. The woman did not need to be taken to the hospital for her injuries, the report said. KDFW-TV said police declined to elaborate on the circumstances surrounding the arrest or Bryant’s relationship to the alleged victim. Bryant was charged with a Class A misdemeanor for assault of a female family member, police told Dallas TV KDFW. The report also said the woman did not need to be taken to the hospital. The run-in with law enforcement was the second in six months for Bryant and the latest in a string of off-field problems for the third-year receiver from Oklahoma State. Assaulting his own mother? Looks like Dez and his former mentor, Deion Sanders now have more than playing for the same team in common. But before we cast judgment — let’s not forget his mom used to slang yayo… Who knows what’s behind this fight. SMH! Source

Adrian Peterson Arrested, Charged With Resisting Arrest in Club Altercation

NFL star Adrian Peterson shoved an off-duty police officer in a Houston bar early Saturday morning, leading to his arrest , the Houston P.D. says. An off-duty officer was working security for the nightclub Live! at Bayou Place when closing time came and he told patrons it was time to leave. The officer had to tell Peterson a second time he had to leave and the Vikings running back shot back, “Hey man, we heard you the first time!” He then pushed the officer in the back of his shoulder, causing him to stumble. The officer then told Peterson to turn around and put his arms behind his back because he was under arrest and Peterson began yelling at him. The officer repeated himself and Peterson turned around to face the officer and got in “an aggressive stance,” ignoring more verbal warnings. A second and third officer then rushed over, according to the police, and they were finally able to arrest the all-star athlete and take him to jail. He was booked on the charge of resisting arrest. Adrian Peterson was heavily intoxicated at the time of his arrest, which was very out of character for him, according to the nightclub owner.
