Yesterday, a video that appeared to show LA Lakers forward Nick Young admitting that he cheated on Iggy Azalea went instantly viral. The clip was shot by Young’s teammate D’Angelo Russell, but Russell swears that he only shot the footage as a joke and never meant for it to go public. So who’s responsible for the video that seems to have brought an end to Nick and Iggy’s engagement ? Well, according to a new report from Radar Online the answer to that question might constitute a twist worthy of the cheesiest soap opera. The website claims that Nicki Minaj sold the footage to gossip site Fameulous in order to send Iggy a message about beefing with other rappers: “Somebody from Nicki Minaj’s camp, a source, got the video and they sent it in,” an unidentified writer for Fameolous said in an interview. “They said, ‘Here put this out because Iggy want to talk mess about Nicki Minaj, put this out and let her know what her fiancé is doing.’ That’s the real story behind this…They wanted to make Iggy basically shut up.” Apparently Nicki’s reps leaked the footage in response to Iggy’s interview on Watch What Happens Live last week, in which the rapper insinuated that Minaj doesn’t write her own verses. The Nicki vs. Iggy feud began last year, but it appeared to have died down in recent months. There’s a lesson to be learned from all of this: If you even imply that Nicki is anything less than the realest, she will burn your life to the ground . Something to keep in mind.

Iggy Azalea was taken aback to learn that she’s struggling with a heroin addiction after Media Take Out broke the “story” earlier this week. The rapper was seen, according to the online tabloid, boasting track marks, a.k.a. marks “associated with LONG-TERM heroin abuse.” But Azalea, who is traveling to Australia with fiance Nick Young, took to Twitter last night to slam the report and explain the marks, as well: “Just landed in australia and am dying with laughter because nick just showed me an article that says im a heroin addict. WHAT?! LOL!” “Could be injecting heroin into my hands…. OR could just be scratches from @AleHerself’s evil cat that attacked me the other week.” That’s right, a good, old-fashioned cat scratching. She’s having fun with this, as she also retweeted a fan who joked about the rumors. “@LuisUnleashed @IGGYAZALEA she’s in Australia because her cartel is going international,” the fan tweeted, adding a laughing emoji. Azalea also posted a cute selfie with Young, who seems to be having a tough time getting over jet lag, while she was “ready to go out.” The “Pretty Girls” singer, who recently confirmed the emotional journey of her nose job , has been subjected to rumors of all kinds.
