6 Things NOT To Do The First Time You Sleep With Someone

Follow this link:

So you’ve met Mr. Right. (Or Mr. Right Now.) You’re a good girl, so you’ve waited the requisite amount of time and you just know that tonight is the night you’ve been dreaming of all year/month/week/minute. You look good, you smell good and you’re wearing the only matching lingerie set you own. All signs point to go. You’d think with this many green lights that there’s no way a lady could mess this up. Maybe you’d think that, but you’d be wrong. Here are just a few of the ways this could go south in a hurry: 1. Don’t depend on him for birth control. Yes, he should carry condoms, but ultimately it’s up to you — it’s your body and you need to keep yourself safe. I’m not saying that’s the way it should be, but the sad fact is, even the nicest seeming guy isn’t always as invested in keeping us disease and pregnancy-free. Even if you’re the kind of traditional lady who insists your date pay for everything (after all, you’re giving him the gift of your company), do not let stubbornness get in the way of your safe good time. And nothing ruins a good time like a below-the-belt itch or unplanned pregnancy. 2. For Pete’s sake, don’t cry. Some of us have a weird habit of occasionally bursting into tears during sex — it’s the rush of endorphins that does it, so blame biology! But, if there’s any way to pull yourself together the first time you make sweet love to your new boyfriend, try to. Waterworks will lead him to believe that either he hurt you–and in that case, will never again do that thing again — or he’ll think that you’re a mental case. Either way, you probably won’t be seeing him again anytime soon. 3. Leave the comparison talk at home. You know how almost every woman you know thinks she’s fat? Yeah, well most guys think they’re, ahem, less endowed than they actually are. Imagine if you thought a size zero was the way you thought you should look just because the model in Vogue was. Sigh. The stories behind the arrivals of Rebecca Black, LMFAO, Kreayshawn and more. By Gil Kaufman, Jocelyn Vena and Rob Markman Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose at the 2011 VMAs Photo: Getty Images LOS ANGELES — There was so much action on the 2011 VMA black-carpet pre-show it was hard to keep track. But along with all the stuff you did see, there was a whole lot you didn’t get to see, which is why we kept an eye on everything that was going on behind-the-scenes too.

Justin Bieber and girlfriend Selena Gomez had the ultimate date night, and the entire world was watching. It all kicked off when the black carpet VMA Pre-Show started on Sunday; the couple’s adorableness would have viewers “awww”-ing throughout the night. Gomez, who was doing a stint as the pre-show co-host, spoke to a number of celebrities, including Britney Spears and bestie Demi Lovato, but things really got interesting when the Biebs showed up. Bieber — wearing glasses, red pants, leopard-print kicks and a tuxedo jacket — stopped to chat with Gomez, who was decked out in a lacey black mini-dress. “I have a snake. I have red pants and cheetah shoes. My snake’s name is Johnson,” he said when Gomez asked about his outfit. The singer/actress continued to press him in the most professional way about his Best Male Video nod, and Bieber played it cool standing next to his girl. “I’m just excited to be in the category with such amazing people,” he told her. Late Night: Shelter From the Storm

In White Folks News: Chelsea Handler Gets Kicked Out Of Men’s Room For Getting It In With A Guy Wearing “Gold Shoes” In A Stall

This one sounds interesting: Chelsea Handler lived up to her party-girl reputation at a summer bash for her hotelier boyfriend, Andre Balazs, when she was escorted out of the men’s bathroom at the Frying Pan by bar security. Handler attended the party for Standard Hotel employees on the restored boat in the Hudson River, docked north of Chelsea Piers, with Balazs on Monday. But sources at the event say a bouncer caught her and “a dude with gold shoes” in a stall in the men’s bathroom and ushered them both out. A spy said Handler started her night out with vodka on the rocks and was “totally cool and unassuming.” But things apparently got wilder later in the evening. Balazs, who has also been linked to Uma Thurman, Renée Zellweger and Naomi Campbell, has a thing for bad girls, and romanced rocker Courtney Love before hooking up with Handler. Handler’s rep, Stephen Huvane, who initially denied that Handler attended the Balazs party even though she was pictured there, said, “She was at the employee party but not at the Standard. She was not kicked out of the men’s room — that is a fabrication.” LMAO at the dude rockin gold shoes. It doesn’t get any better than that. Source

Minka Kelly New Man?

“We have seen Minka and Ramon talking in his trailer way after hours, and often late into the night,” a source tells People of Kelly and Charlie#39;s Angels actor Ramon Rodriguez “They have been together long after they need to be for the show.” Seemingly, it would be very difficult to move on from Derek Jeter. But has Minka Kelly already done so? It was announced this week that the shortstop and the actress have ended their three-year relationship and, already, rumors are surfacing that Kel

Katy Perry, Adele To Continue Ladies’ VMA Hot Streak?

Video of the Year Moonman has gone to a woman every year since the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards. By Jocelyn Vena Past Video of the Year winners meet 2011 Video of the Year nominees Photo: Getty Images/ Columbia/ Capitol/ MTV News Every year since 2007, a woman has taken home the Video of the Year Moonman at the MTV Video Music Awards . The ladies really have become the undeniable stars of the category. So, who has won the prize the past four VMAs? In 2007, Rihanna (featuring Jay-Z) won it for “Umbrella.” A year later, in 2008, Britney Spears dominated with “Piece of Me.” Beyonc&#233 took it in 2009 for her anthem “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It),” and Lady Gaga (and her meat dress) won it last year, 2010, for her “Bad Romance” video. Sunday night, will a woman once again take home the ultimate Moonman for Video of the Year? Well, there’s a 40 percent chance, mathematically, that a female artist will win the prize. Two of the five nominees are women: Adele (“Rolling in the Deep”) and Katy Perry (“Firework”) face off against the Beastie Boys, Bruno Mars and Tyler, the Creator. Will the ladies cancel each other out, or will one of them rise victorious? “I think it has to be a lady this year, as in my mind, it’s a two-person race between Katy Perry and Adele ,” Entertainment Weekly staff writer Kyle Anderson told MTV News. “The former because it seems like an appropriate culmination to an unprecedented chart-ruling year, and the latter because it’s a feel-good story of quality and skill triumphing over glitz and artificiality.” While Anderson notes it could go either way regarding Adele and Perry, celeb blogger Perez Hilton had a more definite idea who will win. “The women continue their hot streak. Without a doubt, the winner is going to be Adele,” he predicted. “This is her year. She’s been the critical darling and has also been embraced by the masses in a way we haven’t seen in a really long time. She’s actually selling albums, week after week, and lots of them. She deserves to win every single award she’s nominated for.” Anderson added that the performances scheduled for the night are a major indication that a lady will win. “Either way, it’s going to be five straight victories for XX chromosomes,” he predicted. “And it should also be noted that considering the biggest performers will also be female — Adele, Lady Gaga, Beyonc

Jessie J Is Going To ‘Wild Out’ As VMA House Artist

British ‘Price Tag’ singer won’t let a broken foot slow her down on Sunday night. By Gil Kaufman, with reporting by Christina Garibaldi Jessie J Photo: MTV News Even if you haven’t heard Jessie J ‘s infectious, bouncy summer jam “Price Tag,” you are probably familiar with some of her songs. “Party in the U.S.A.”? Yeah, she co-wrote the Miley Cyrus hit. Chris Brown’s “I Need This” — Jessie again. She’s also worked on songs for Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera and Alicia Keys. And, of course, Jessie J is the house artist for this year’s VMAs , the capper to a year that saw her finally release her long-gestating debut, Who You Are, which included a tune she originally wrote for Rihanna, the raunchy “Do It Like a Dude.” What befits a budding British pop star’s biggest moment on live American TV? How about a giant orthopedic brace? And we don’t mean the fake Lady Gaga kind. “I broke my foot, so I have this crazy ‘Star Wars’ moon boot,” Jessie said on Thursday about being laid-up for her VMA debut. “I’m gonna pimp out my crutches for the red carpet.” While rehearsing, Jessie fell off a stage and snapped her ankle, but she said it will have no effect on her performance at all, as she plans to take a seat on a throne and rock it out. “It hasn’t really sunk in yet,” she said of the honor of serving as the house artist. “I’ve watched the VMAs every single year, and always wished I could be there. … So, I’m going to be singing a lot, and people seeing me, and every single person I’ve ever looked up to in the music industry is going to be in the same room at once. Broken foot or not, I’m still going to wild out and do my thing.” With Britney, Lil Wayne, Beyonc

Lady Gaga’s VMA Fashion ‘Will Be Making A Statement’

2011 MTV Video Music Awards nominee says, ‘In the overarching scheme of pop culture, I hope to change what things mean.’ By Jocelyn Vena Lady Gaga at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards Photo: Steve Granitz/WireImage.com For Lady Gaga , attending an awards show is not just about showing up and having a good time. For her, it’s also about making a statement. And, many times, that statement is tied to the many, many wardrobe changes she makes throughout the night. That, of course, includes the MTV Video Music Awards , where Gaga will be in attendance Sunday night. For her first VMAs , in 2009, Gaga made four costume changes, one of which included her seemingly bleeding onstage during her performance of “Paparazzi.” Then, in 2010, she might have had three costume changes, but her most memorable was her Franc Fernandez-designed meat dress. “When I came to VMAs that year, it was not perceived as performance, it was perceived as costume changes,” she recently dished to MTV News. “My seat is my seat. In the overarching scheme of pop culture, I hope to change what things mean and have them branch into other areas.” While no one knows what or how many outfits she will wear during Sunday night’s show, she did share what her bottom line is: “I will be making a statement.” That mirrors what she said during “MTV First: Lady Gaga” earlier this month, where she shared that her celebrity is a big art installation. “I think something that’s always been very important to me … is that the fame as an art form has always been an interesting stage,” she said. “It begins on the subway or in the car on the way here. It begins when I wake up in the morning and I take a shower. It’s not something that is temporal. It has no end, so I’m excited to continue as an artist to push the boundaries of where pop music can exist.” This year, Gaga is up for four Moonmen including Best Female Video and Best Video With a Message for “Born This Way,” as well as Best Art Direction and Best Choreography for “Judas.” Also, she will open the show with the night’s first performance. The 28th annual MTV Video Music Awards will air live Sunday from Los Angeles at 9 p.m. ET/PT, following the Selena Gomez-hosted pre-show at 8.
