We’ll set up shop in the lobby of a downtown Los Angeles hotel that is being transformed into a musical time portal featuring a paparazzi photo arena as the centerpiece to all the pre-show madness. In between, Cantiello will keep an eye on MTV News’ Twitter Tracker, which will provide updates on the global VMA conversation on Twitter and show the volume of Twitter traffic about VMA nominees, presenters, performers and attendees. He’ll also tweet photos from the paparazzi theater and ask fans to use them to make fan art and send them back so he can display them during the broadcast while he tweets about all the black-carpet action @MTV. MTV News will also bring viewers a first look at the new Nicki Minaj video “Fly,” featuring Rihanna. The lead-in to the pre-show will be an all-new episode of “Jersey Shore” at 7 p.m. ET/PT, with the cast popping in to the live pre-show to predict who the night’s big winners will be. Did Lil Wayne Sleep With A 16-Year-Old Girl?

Read more here:

Lil Wayne may have violated his parole by sleeping with a 16 year-old girl. A 16 year-old blonde Canadian high school student is claiming that she spent the night with Weezy. The girl who’s in the 11th grade put Weezy on blast on Twitter. According to mediatakeout, Lil Wayne performed in Canada Tuesday night, and the girl whose name is Sarah and her friends attended the concert.Sarah attempted to get at Weezy after the concert, but failed. The next day, she took a bus to Montreal, where Weezy was performing and hooked up with him at an after party, and managed to get invited back to his hotel room. This is where things got hot and heavy and Sarah apparently has pictures to prove it. The teen put Weezy on blast on twitter and I’m sure his probation officer is not too happy right now. Red Hot Chili Peppers Nervous To Play I’m With You Live

Anthony Kiedis says he’s concerned about ‘not having enough days to practice.’ By Gil Kaufman Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Anthony Kiedis Photo: MTV News When MTV News sat down with legendary Los Angeles punk-funk icons the Red Hot Chili Peppers on Wednesday, they talked about a lot of things very confidently — their new video, fond memories of L.A.’s Forum , pygmy scientists and the state of music videos today. But the one thing they were clearly nervous about was the upcoming tour in support of their new album, I’m With You . It’s not performance anxiety: that much you can tell from the loose vibe of the just-unveiled “The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie” video. The Chili Peppers have seen millions of faces over the past 28 years, and rocked them all (or at least 99.9 percent of them). No, it’s the challenge of playing the new songs from the album in front of their adoring fans without enough time to get them into fighting shape. Also, they’re planning to play the new album in its entirety, top to bottom, on tour. Regarding his concerns about performing the songs, singer Anthony Kiedis said, “Not having enough days to practice. It’s very dynamic, so we really have to focus on letting each song exist unto itself with all of its beauty. There’s a lot going on.” How did Flea’s hour-long bass groove turn into “Rain Dance Maggie”? The band wrote a lot of new material for their 10th studio album, and while Flea said the tunes that made the final cut are not necessarily better than those left on the floor, “it was important to us that each song stood on its own emotionally and aesthetically, that held its own spot,” he said. “So we really have a lot of territory to cover in terms of emotional [ground].” Besides, the simple fact is they’re new songs and the group — including new guitarist Josh Klinghoffer — just don’t know them as well as classics like “Give It Away” and “Under the Bridge.” They’ve done some of the requisite prep work, according to Kiedis, who said a string of three club shows before their recent Summer Sonic fest headlining set in Japan helped loosen up the muscles. “Maggie” director Marc Klasfeld explains how the “simple and iconic” video was made. “It was so fun … it was wildly fun,” Kiedis said of the gigs. “We really didn’t know exactly what this would be like, a) because it’s been a long time and b) because we now play with Josh. We felt pretty good about everything that we had done in terms of writing and recording, but no one really knew and it was just as good as one could have ever dreamt of … It was like being 21 years old and not being able to sleep the night before a show.” Check back on MTV.com for highlights from the Q&A, including the band discussing the early inspiration for their iconic videos, where they feel they belong in music history, whether Anthony Kiedis will ever join Twitter and more! Fright Night Movie Review: Scary Good Fun!

If you are looking for vampires who embrace humans and even fall in love with them, Breaking Dawn opens on November 18. But if you’re in the mood for an old fashioned tale about a blood sucker with pure disdain for our kind, purchase a ticket for Fright Night . It hits theaters tomorrow and it sets Colin Ferrell loose as Jerry (yes, Jerry), a vampire who causes nothing but problems for Anton Yelchin’s Charley Brewster. Fright Night Trailer A retelling of a classic, the movie takes full advantage of its 3D status, according to our pals at Movie Fanatic, resulting in an intense pace and a sinister, enjoyable scariness that is missing from many vampire tales these days. Royce Reed’s “Basketball Wives” Boyfriend Gets Another Woman Pregnant

Follow this link:

Royce Reed’s “boyfriend” may not be the catch she claimed him to be on “Basketball Wives” this season. And Jennifer Williams is happy to tell us all about his lowlife ways. Jen wrote a blog for HollywoodLife about Monday night’s reunion episode and cleared up details about the infamous drink-throwing incident, her dating life, and Meeka & Royce’s “irrelevancy.” On Royce: Let me just get this topic out the way! Royce is irrelevant! I refuse to waste another ounce of breath on her. She just doesn’t get it! Royce is always starting some drama and I am at a point in my life where I am trying to get rid of drama and any negative influences. It boils down to myself, Shaunie and Evelyn not wanting to film with her because she is so full of drama. Other than her “movie role” with Eric, she doesn’t have much of a story line. I am certain she doesn’t want to talk about her new boyfriend that just had a baby with another woman while we were filming and we all know Dwight Howard has a gag order on her! Ok moving on… On Meeka: As far as Meeka goes she just needs to shut the hell up! Her mouth is what got her in trouble in the first place. She claims she doesn’t want to be in “the circle” but isn’t that the very reason she came on the show? She should start thinking and choose her words more carefully so she can stop putting her foot in her mouth! On Eric’s drink-throwing incident: The incident with Eric is very unfortunate, however it was just a firm confirmation that I am moving in the right direction. Everyone wants to say, “Well I would have done this or what took you so long?” No one can really say what he or she is going to do and/or react until they are in your shoes. I feel Eric ended our relationship with a coward move. Yes, yes I did throw a drink first. I was frustrated our discussion didn’t resolve anything about our impending divorce but I never hit him with the drink nor did I intend to hit him with the drink. The manner and forcefulness in which he threw that drink at me, not to mention hit my chin surprised the hell out of me! Again, another negative aspect and chapter of my life I am ready to close. I could have retaliated and threw a chair or flipped a table but I prefer to bow out gracefully. On dating: Closing one chapter and opening up another one, DATING!!!! I am having fun dating. Will and I had fun at my divorce/independence party but that is where it started and ended. He is a friend, nothing more. I don’t have a boyfriend at the moment. My main priority is business and myself! I am focusing most of my attention on my new lip gloss line, Lucid Cosmetics available at www.lucidcosmetics.com. But a girl deserves to play a little bit and go on a few dates. Katy Perry Ties Michael Jackson Singles Record

‘Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)’ marks Perry’s fifth #1 single from Teenage Dream, equal only to MJ’s Bad achievement. By Jocelyn Vena Katy Perry Photo: C. Flanigan/ FilmMagic Back in June, Katy Perry was closing in on Michael Jackson ‘s record for the most #1 singles from the same album — and now she’s tied it up. Thanks to the feel-good party jam “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.),” Perry has the same number of #1 singles from Teenage Dream on the Hot 100 as the late King of Pop did from 1987’s Bad. Now, Perry is both the only woman with five #1 singles from the same album and also the only living artist with that record. So what singles got her there aside from “Last Friday Night”? Perry’s previous #1’s from Teenage Dream are “California Gurls,” “Teenage Dream,” “Firework” and “E.T.” Jackson achieved this feat back in 1987 and 1988 with “I Just Can’t Stop Loving You,” “Bad,” “The Way You Make Me Feel,” “Man in the Mirror” and “Dirty Diana” from his Bad album. “What a way to wake up! SO proud to announce that the little-engine-that-could of a song ‘LAST FRIDAY NIGHT’ is officially #1 & made HISTORY!” the singer tweeted Wednesday (August 17). “&u know, I couldn’t have done it with out ya, really I owe u guys BIG… so take this moment to give yourself a high FIVE!!! #allbecauseofu.” Explore our “Katy Perry: By The Numbers” infographic: Perry broke another singles record earlier this month, having the first album from the Billboard Mainstream Top 40 chart to have five #1 singles. Perry’s Teenage Dream album is the first in the nearly 19-year history of the chart to accomplish that feat. “Last Friday Night” has proven to be another successful track for the star, and the party anthem recently got an assist from Missy Elliott on the remix . Perry’s Teenage Dream videos have also been cultural smashes. For the 2011 Video Music Awards , Perry racked up the most nominations with nine, including nods for Video of the Year and Best Female Video for “Firework”; Best Pop Video for “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)”; and Best Collaboration, Best Art Direction, Best Direction, Best Editing and Best Special Effects for the Floria Sigismondi-directed “E.T.,” which features fellow nominee Kanye West. Her dreamy “Teenage Dream” clip even nabbed a nomination for Best Cinematography. What’s your favorite Teenage Dream single? Let us know in the comments below! Josh Hartnett’s Girlfriend Pisses Herself in Tight Jeans of the Day

Her name is Sophia Lie….and she pisses herself….I mean I guess she could have spilled a drink on herself but where’s the story in that…. In her defense, you’d piss yourself to if you were forced to spend more than an hour with Josh Hartnett, let alone spend your life with the fucking asshole. You know because clearly you wouldn’t have any dignity or self respect…. See I know a girl who went on a date with Josh Hartnett when he was in town filming and apparently he spent the night talking about his hair and whether it was better in one movie than the other…and that’s the kind of conversation that would make a motherfucker, even an opportunistic motherfucker drink until they have no more feeling …. Here are the rest of the pics… Here are some of her fashion modeling pics….cuz she’s a hot fashion model …so hot she has a celebrity boyfriend…assuming Josh Hartnett is still a celebrity…and she’s one of these three naked bitches…just not sure which one…you can try to make a came out of the shit….since you have nothing else going on… Here’s some art faggy video cuz you like those art fag….

My first Bieber experience was in 2010 when Justin RT’d one of…

My first Bieber experience was in 2010 when Justin RT’d one of my tweets . I had just bought his album, only out of curiosity to see what he sounded like, and I instantly fell in love with him. It wasn’t until i google’d a bit about him that I  realized  he was that kid singing “With You” in his bedroom. Anyway, I had been tweeting him ALL day and got no response. Then all of my timeline started to blow up with tweets to Justin. Being the un-experienced fan I had no idea that they only did this when he was online or “creepin”. I had already given up and just joined in on tweeting my favourite songs from his album.  I t wasn’t until later when my emails blew up that I realised that he   had RT’s me! I was SO happy, I was jumping around and stuff. I had only just became a fan and this is what he did to me!  My second Bieber experience was the biggest one. It happened 4 th  March 2011. People had constantly told me to give up on my dream and that I was never going to meet Justin. One of them especially was a girl who was “supposedly” my  best friend . She was a HUGE Bieber fan too. She’s always been the girl who got everything she wanted. She got her bedroom covered in posters, she had every single thing to do with Justin bieber, but me? I couldn’t afford that and every day she would remind me. Everyday I’d call up my local radio station and request Baby and got to be good friends with the radio presenter, she said that if Justin was ever in the studio she would get me in to meet him .  I was having a bad year, my parents spilt and I became a part-time guardian to my 2 year old brother. My auntie suggested that me and my cousin should get tickets as our Christmas presents. We ended up with floor seats, 3 rows from the front. The girl who always told me I’d never see him live/meet him had bought the £300 V.I.P   package and bragged about it like everyday of her life! She had seats 2 rows behind me. When I told her what seats I had, she told me that I got the tickets because people felt sorry for me. But karma is a bitch! It turned out that there would only be a V.I.P sound check for the London concerts so everything she bragged about didn’t happen and people thought she was lying. Me being the nice person I am decided to stick up for her and tell them the story so she wouldn’t look stupid.  The day the tickets arrived I had a leaflet with them about joining  bieberfever.com  I joined using my birthday money (it cost £30 because of international fees) and became a member. I saw that you could win a chance to meet Justin. I made a video and entered. They told me i would know if i won 24hours before the concert. I had no reply and gave up hope.  11:56pm on the night before the concert I received an email, “  CONGRATULATIONS JUSTIN BIEBER FAN ”. The next day when I met him, I felt on top of the world. I had just met my idol and all I could say was that “he’s real”. I ran up to him and hugged him. He hugged back and was like, “Awhh” When we took the picture, we realized it was just him me and my cousin. We were supposed to be in groups of 4 so we didn’t understand. It turned out my auntie had a Justin Bieber hoody on because she was cold and they though she was a fan. When we took the picture and stuff he said thank-you and I handed him a letter to give to his mom. I said, “Please will you give this to your mum” and he looked really surprised and said, “What? My mom, my momma?” We both smiled pointing to Kenny. I replied. “Okay but it’s really important” he looked confused, “Don’t worry its nothing bad” he smiled and said “Ok bye girls” then we left.  After meeting him I had a phone call and it was from the radio station asking me to go down and do an interview about it. I was also on local radio news. Everything that went on that year, God finally gave me hope. I later found out that the things that girl was saying to me are a type of bullying. We are no longer friends and she is stuck with one person at school. I’m glad I could finally see who she really was. It was thanks to Justin Bieber and his team that she can no longer put me down.   T hanks for reading. Love Jodie -@ItsJodieCrouch Click here to listen to my interview with the radio station.
