Massachusetts Woman Gives Birth To 14-Pound Baby via Huffington Post Meet Carisa Ruscak, the second-biggest baby ever born at Massachusetts General Hospital. Carisa came into the world on Tuesday, weighing 14.5 pounds — nearly double the size of the average American newborn. “Everyone in the operating room was like, ‘Oh my God, look at the size of this baby! Let’s get her on the scale, what does she weigh?’” mom Caroline told WHDH. “It validated me because I was in a lot of pain when I was pregnant, so to hear the size, it made sense,” she told WCVB. “That’s what we like, long and big. That’s what I am,” dad Bryan told the WCVB. “I’ve been teased a lot so I’m a good sport, no problem with me long as they don’t say anything bad about my little girl.” Born via Caesarean section, Carisa is roughly the weight of an average 6-month-old baby. ABC News reports that only about 1 in every 100,000 babies weigh 14 pounds or more. The couple’s first baby was more than 10 pounds so doctors were prepared for another big delivery . “She didn’t have diabetes or any other things that we associate with big babies,” Dr. Jennifer Kickham told WHDH. “Fortunately mom and baby are doing well.”

Facebook is the root of some serious fawkery . This is a real tragedy that could have been prevented. Florida Woman Jailed For Shooting Pregnant Friend Over Facebook Fight According to NY Daily News reports : A neighborhood in Florida is stunned that anyone would shoot a 6-month-pregnant woman in the stomach — killing the unborn baby inside. Let alone the victim’s close friend. Virginia Wyche, 35, also known as “Tweety Bird” around town, is accused of turning the gun on her pal Markeisha Brooks, 23, in the streets of Jacksonville Wednesday. “They were arguing out front, something about Facebook. I walked out and just heard a pop,” local man Christopher Cash told station WAWS. Cash shot footage of Brooks slouched in a chair, clutching her stomach, just moments after the shot rang out. Markeisha was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. Her family said she survived. The video shows an officer arresting Wyche at the scene. She appeared in court Thursday morning and is being held on a $1 million bond, authorities said. The suspect’s mother, Lillian Jordan, said the news is difficult to bear especially because she was “not raised like this.” “Somebody had to provoke my child … to do what she (did),” Jordan told WJXT Jacksonville. The suspect and victim had been arguing on Facebook the night before the shooting. Damn, thank God Brooks survived but that is terrible that her unborn child died. Romeo opened up last night about his mom and dad … Sonya Miller and Master P’s split — and her legal demand for a chunk of his empire … telling us, “Honestly, I love my mom to death, but I mean — we gotta just work out some things. She gotta be a better parent, y’know.” It sounds like he’s referring to Master P’s allegations that Sonya is smoking marijuana around their children … which she’s denied. Sizzurp Shortage: Codeine Yanked From Shelves, Justin Bieber Devastated?

Actavis – the drug company responsible for the codeine-rich cough syrup used to make “sizzurp” – announced today that they will no longer manufacture the famous serum, which has become the alleged drug of choice for celebs like Justin Bieber and 2 Chainz. Bieber was reportedly busted drinking sizzurp in March of this year and countless rappers have had run-ins with the law and near-death experiences as a result of the so-called “purple drank.” Rapper Lil Wayne allegedly overdosed on sizzurp last year, suffering seizures and nearly lapsing into a coma. Now, Actavis says it’s putting an end to the days of negative media reports about the sizzurp-related antics of rappers and wannabe-thug pop stars. “Actavis has made the bold and unprecedented attention to cease all production and sales of its Promethazine Codeine product,” says a statement from the company. “[Media] attention has glamorized the unlawful and dangerous use of the product.” The ban will reportedly be taking effect immediately, so if you’re a purple drank enthusiast, you may want to get out there and stock up while you can. Sizzurp first gained prominence when rappers began mentioning it in songs in the late 90s. The drink usually consists of a combination of alcohol, sugary sodas and hard candy…but of course, Actavis cough syrup is the key ingredient. We’re sure this is a day of mourning for many in the rap game.

According to a recent report, Beyonce and Jay-Z will not attend next month’s wedding between Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. But James Franco said on The View this week that not only is he invited to the festivities in France… Kanye asked him and Seth Rogen to perform their “Bound 3” parody video the night before his big day! Bound 3 “Two weeks ago we got a call from Kanye,” Franco said. “Seth and I were on the phone and we thought he was going to let us have it, but he loved [the video]… and I think I can say it now because I’m pretty sure it’s not going to happen, he wanted us to perform it live the night before his wedding in Versailles.” So, will this actually happen? Will Franco and Rogen entertain wedding guests with their half-naked mockery of Kim and Kanye’s Bound 2 music video ? Despite the fact that she has no projects to promote and her reality show has been canceled by Oprah , Lindsay Lohan has been on a full-blown media bender for the past 24 hours. Guess that’s better than her usual benders. Lindsay admitted her sex list was real on last night’s Watch What Happens Live and this morning she co-hosted The View, where she shared more lies and not-so-stunning revelations. Linds kicked the episode off by proclaiming that her sobriety is going “great,” and Whoopi Goldberg proved why she’s an Oscar winner by somehow managing to keep a straight face. Goldberg then asked Lohan about her trip to Coachella last weekend, which Lindsay said was better than previous years, because she was in a “different headspace.” By which she probably means her head was full of cocaine. Lindsay also claimed she’s in a different place with regard to her love life these days, saying that she’s avoiding dating at the moment as men (and women) have “been a distraction” for her in the past. This being daytime TV, Lindsay was a bit more tight-lipped about her romantic past than she’d been with Andy Cohen the night before. Wow. A late night show and a morning show the next day?
