Bollywood Star, Mallika Sherawat rubbing elbows with the President of the United States of America Barack Obama at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. The Bollywood actress beauty and the President first met during Obama’s Los Angeles, California visit for a fundraiser held at Sony Studios. Politics seem to be a recurring theme for Sherawat, as she stars in her first US feature film entitled “Politics of Love” starring opposite Brian White, Loretta Devine, and Ruby Dee. The Romantic comedy takes place during the 2008 Presidential election and focuses on a democratic Obama volunteer coordinator (Sherawat) who falls in love with a Republican McCain supporter (White). Sherawatt will travel to Cannes to host the “Politics of Love” sunset cocktail party at hotspot Nikki Beach during this year’s film festival.
