The Nikki Ferrell of old would never have put up with the kind of stuff Juan Pablo is subjecting her to now, according to her ex-boyfriend Ryan McDill. The 26-year-old pediatric nurse has stood happily by her man, despite The Bachelor’s refusal to propose or even say he loves her in a public setting. Critics have questioned the relationship of Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell , as many also feel he’s just a jerk. No one is more surprised than Ryan. “Knowing her like I do, I’m surprised Nikki acted like everything was fine during After the Final Rose,” her ex-boyfriend says in the new issue of Us . McDill dated the would-be reality star for a year until last July. That post-finale special was when Nikki Ferrell told host Chris Harrison that Galavis has not said he loves her. Since the reality show finished filming in November, they’d effectively been apart for a few months. Naturally, Juan Pablo “wouldn’t even answer her.” Instead, he reportedly kept changing the subject. ESSS OKAY! Also, according to reports, whenever the controversial Bachelor’s phone rang, he would leave the room to take the call, then “refused” to tell Nikki who called. Then, after the After the Final Rose special, the couple “did not spend the night together,” according to reports … pretty stunning and yet not at all. Nikki Ferrell supposedly wanted to spend the night with her man, but he wasn’t into it for unknown reasons, so they stayed in separate hotel rooms. Clare Crawley says The Bachelor season finale rejection she endured at the hands of Juan Pablo Galavis, who left her in tears, was for the best in the end. Clare Crawley OWNS Juan Pablo Galavis On Good Morning America today, she said she has “zero regrets” about her TV romance, despite the fact that its ending on last week’s finale was cringe-worthy. “I went into this feeling I’m going to be 100 percent open and I’m going to be 100 percent myself and I’m going to think about what I do,” said Clare Crawley . “And, because I thought and then acted, I’m proud of that.” Even though Clare was “falling in love” with Juan Pablo, she had “that doubt in my mind” following their helicopter conversation on their final date. Apparently, Clare implored Juan Pablo at the time to “just tell me you love me,” and he replies by saying he loves f–king her but doesn’t really know her. As for the torrent of bad publicity that rained down on Juan Pablo in the past seven days, well, that’s just the “real” Juan Pablo, according to Clare: “As short of a time period as we get to see on TV, I think your true personality comes through in the end … I think mine did and I think his did as well.” Fortunately, she calls Juan Pablo’s rejection a “blessing in disguise,” and says she’s doing “amazing” post-finale, alluding to a possible new love interest: “I’m very happy. The good thing is it’s not on TV right now.” As for Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell ? They’re somehow still together. Not engaged, but together, happily defying expectations (yes, we know it’s been one week … expectations were hella low).

For a guy so obsessed people letting him keep his love life and relationship private, The Bachelor star Juan Pablo Galavis is making it surprisingly public. The embattled 32-year-old shared a pointed, telling message via Instagram following all the backlash he endured after his non-proposal to Nikki Ferrell . “Throw me to the wolves and I’ll come back leading the pack,” Galavis said … and along with a selfie of himself and winner Ferrell looking happy as ever. “We are FREE @nikki_ferrell…” he captioned. The Bachelor fans were up in arms Monday night when Juan Pablo told Ferrell that he wasn’t ready to propose, simply offering his final rose instead. He also acted like a kind of a dick to Chris Harrison, Clare Crawley and Andi Dorfman over the final two episodes and the After the Final Rose special. Viewers were outraged by Galavis, basically, and it clearly got to him. For all his protestations of being FINISHED with the show, he’s not going off the grid. Juan Pablo Galavis’ decisions this season, followed by his comments on The Bachelor: After the Final Rose special baffled everyone who saw them. Especially the man sitting across from him and forced to engage him. “I had like a pack of Tums and Pepto Bismol. I was just downing it during the show,” Chris Harrison joked to Access Hollywood in a new interview. “It was an interesting, bizarre ride.” “I know I say this a lot about being dramatic and controversial and all that, but literally, in 12 years, it was the most confusing, bizarre show I’ve ever seen.” Juan Pablo Interview with Chris Harrison Regarding the most awkward part, when Chris said that Juan Pablo had a surprise , only to have Galavis act like he had no clue what he was talking about? “Juan Pablo told us in St. Lucia, that [on] ‘After the Final Rose,’ I have a big surprise for you,” Chris said. “He said it to one of our executives at ABC.” “[We said] ‘Wow, OK,’ because we were all a little unsatisfied with the ending and the non-proposal [to Nikki] and the, ‘I like you a lot’ ending to the show.” “But he’s like, ‘Don’t worry. After the Final Rose, I have a big surprise for you,’” Harrison recounted. “We’re like, ‘OK, great, maybe he’ll do something big.” Even one day before the taping, he thought the surprise – most likely a proposal to Nikki Ferrell or at least some declaration of love – was still coming. “Someone got a text, I heard, yesterday, that reiterated, ‘I’m gonna have a big surprise at the show tonight,’ so I thought [it] would at least be, ‘I love you.’” But when Harrison asked Juan Pablo about the surprise after The Bachelor finale , the star said he didn’t have one, and appeared utterly clueless. “I think that was the mood he was in,” Chris said. “He was in a defiant, defensive mood.” Why? Nikki Ferrell and Juan Pablo Galavis: Will it Last?

So, Nikki Ferrell and Juan Pablo Galavis are together. We think. Their relationship is PRIVATE, he reminded us 20 times on The Bachelor: After the Final Rose special. He also rejects labeling their relationship, and feels no pressure to propose, or to say “I love you,” or display any semblance of tact whatsoever. Hey, he’s only being HONEST with people! Come on! Apparently, Juan Pablo defines “honest” as “free rein to be a dick to whomever I want, whenever I want.” Blame it on the LANGUAGE BARRIER! Anyway … congratulations, Nikki!!!! He’s all yours (for the next 4-5 days)!! The Bachelor spoilers totally predicted the results we saw play out Monday, but nothing could do justice to the kind of performance Juan Pablo put on. Seriously. He was beyond bad. As a Bachelor and some might say person. Just a few highlights of the 18th season finale of the hit show included … Juan Pablo telling Nikki he had a ring in his pocket, but he’s “not gonna use it.” However, he told her “I like you a lot,” and hey, that was enough for Nikki! Juan Pablo telling Clare he likes f–king her but doesn’t really know her. Clare still being too disgusted to even look at him on the reunion show. Juan Pablo having no regrets about how he handled this whatsoever. The Bachelor: Juan Pablo-Nikki Ferrell ‘Proposal’ Juan Pablo being a giant dick to Chris Harrison throughout the ATFR . Him equating being “honest with people” with “free rein to be an ass.” Galavis refusing, repeatedly, to say he loves Nikki or offer details. Andi Dorfman saying she’d kick him to the curb on her season. Even Juan Pablo’s parents hinting that he can sort of suck. So there you have it. Do Juan Pablo and Nikki have any sort of future? The After the Final Rose special certainly didn’t clear that up. But it doesn’t look good. They have no plans, really, to do anything. But hey, you never know! They are in a relationship, supposedly … at least they’re not not in a relationship. So what is his deal? It’s been rumored that Galavis was “hurt” after getting dumped by Andi Dorfman and didn’t see a “soul mate” in Clare or Nikki. It’s also rumored that Juan Pablo went on the show as a giant self-promotional campaign with no real engagement or marriage aspirations at any point. Either way, it’s all over now, thank goodness. Jimmy Kimmel has a lot of fun with The Bachelor on his very own ABC network. His latest spoof of the hit show? A faux cure for the Bachelor-related blues. He aired a fake ad for “Rozac,” a medication for “Bachelor-related depression” last night, and after The Bachelor Season 18 Episode 8 , Renee could use it … The Bachelor: Rozac Kimmel, who is expecting a baby with Molly McNearney, accurately notes that the show features a lot of bawling, especially in Juan Pablo’s season. The clip shows each of the the show’s remaining contestants breaking down while a voiceover asks, “Are you crying in front of millions of strangers?” “Is it because you’re boyfriend is dating a half dozen other women? Does your self-esteem depend on whether or not he gives you a flower on TV?” The commercial then introduces “Rozac … for when you don’t get the rose.” Who’ll be crying after the Fantasy Suite nightmares on tonight’s episode: Nikki Ferrell, Andi Dorfman, Clare Crawley … or even Juan Pablo Galavis himself?! Tonight on The Bachelor Season 18 Episode 9, what happens in the Fantasy Suite doesn’t stay in the Fantasy Suite. And whatever it is goes horribly wrong. Juan Pablo met the families of the four remaining ladies during Monday night’s hometown dates, gave Renee Oteri the pink slip and moved on to St. Lucia. The overnight dates are typically a deal-breaker on the ABC reality series, but never before have we seen anything like what’s being teased in this promo: The Bachelor Season 18 Episode 9 Promo The Bachelor spoilers have hinted all winter long that there’s drama in store for fans when we hit St. Lucia, and this teaser would certainly attest to that: Clare Crawley and Nikki Ferrell appear to be loving life with Juan Pablo Andi Dorfman appears to be in the exact opposite boat and freaks out Nikki is seen crying too, but that looks like the work of clever editing It’s almost accepted that Andi Dorfman bounces, based on this and offhand comments from Chris Harrison about Clare and Nikki on the After the Final Rose special. Not before calling him “immature, rude and inappropriate,” though. “There’s a difference between being honest and being and a–hole,” she allegedly proclaims, becoming the second contestant to dump JPG thus far. Sharleen Joynt did the honors before hometowns. Now Andi? We’ll have to wait and see how The Bachelor Season 18 Episode 9 shakes out in a matter of hours, but it sounds like things are gonna get ugly, fast. The Bachelor Promo: Hometown Dates, Fantasy Suites and Heartbreak … For Whom?

Juan Pablo Galavis is on to the hometown date portion of The Bachelor, which can only mean heartbreak and high drama for at least one of the remaining women. Maybe all of them, from what we know from The Bachelor spoilers , and even just the promo which aired after Monday’s episode, which looks pretty intense. The hometown dates and fantasy suite episodes will air on back to back nights next week, and from the looks of this sneak peek … better hold onto something: The Bachelor Season 18 Episode 8 Promo NOTE: Remember to watch The Bachelor online at TV Fanatic to catch up on last week’s crazy episode! Andi Dorfman takes Juan Pablo to Atlanta, Clare Crawley meets him in Sacramento, Nikki Ferrell brings him to Missouri, and Renee Oteri romances him in Florida.
