You know Jon Gosselin has fallen on hard times when he’s looking to his ex-wife Kate for help. Then again, Jon is broke and recently got evicted from his home, so we suppose he had to hit rock bottom sooner or later. Asked about his future career plans in a recent interview with Life & Style, Jon replied: “I would consider appearing on Couples Therapy with Kate. “We’re divorced by why cant we co-parent?” “I was thinking Kate and I could do a televised sit-down with a doctor and work out our differences because our kids are suffering.” Yeah, why can’t they co-parent and totally get a paycheck and warm place to stay for a few weeks? Couples Therapy is a great idea! Well, at least now we know why Jon crashed Kate’s yard sale . If you’re a deadbeat dad who wants to ask his psycho ex-wife to do him a favor, the best place to do it is outside, during the daytime, so as not to get stabbed too many times. Suddenly Kate’s reaction makes a whole lot more sense. Watch Couple’s Therapy online to see how badly Jon made a mess of it his first time around. Kate Gosselin: 31 Photos of a Terrible Mother 1. Earlier today, Lee “Uncle Poodle” Thompson revealed that he has photographs of Mark McDaniel in bed with Honey Boo Boo . Thompson was understandably upset at the idea of his 9-year-old niece in such close proximity to a convicted child molester, and his actions spurred his brother Sugar Bear Thompson to fight for custody of Honey Boo Boo . Now, Lee has opened up about his reason for going public with the photos and we don’t think anyone will be surprised by his outrage: “He should [have] never been near or around the kids,” Uncle Poodle wrote online today. “What June does behind closed doors is HER business unless it involves the kids and that is why I spoke out! I did not nor will I ever support her wanting or being around McDaniel nor do I agree with the whole situation.” The past couple days saw June Shannon face a slew of accusations including her eldest daughter Anna’s claim that June stole from her to buy a car for McDaniel . McDaniel molested Anna in 2003 and subsequently served 10 years in prison. Anna said in a recent interview that he could have faced life in prison had he not reached a plea deal with prosecutors. Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and Family 1. Reality TV Family This family is way more famous than you are. It’s just unclear why, exactly.

The View is getting a major makeover. ABC confirmed on Thursday that neither Sherri Shepherd nor Jenny McCarthy will return to the afternoon talk show this fall, with the former saying via statement: “It’s been seven wonderful years on The View and after careful consideration it is time for me to move on. I am extremely grateful to Barbara Walters and Bill Gedde for giving me the opportunity. “I look forward to the business opportunities that lay ahead for me and I am incredibly grateful to my View family and my fans for supporting me on this journey.” Shepherd’s exit comes as a bit of a surprise, but talk of McCarthy leaving has been circulating for weeks now. The controversial blonde Tweeted soon after the news broke that “my View will be changing too. As will with many hard working folks,” and later added of her soon-to-be-former colleague: “If Sherri goes… I go too. #sisters.” Based on the above selfie with Donnie Wahlberg, Shepherd and McCarthy don’t seem too broken up about their ousting, do they? “The View will be moving in an exciting new direction next season and ABC has made decisions to evolve the show creatively,” ABC said its own statement, as only Whoopi Goldberg is currently signed for next season. Look for new episodes to air this September and try to decide: Who do you want to see on the new panel?

Welp. Apollo Nida Pleads Guilty To Bank Fraud & Identity Theft RHOA cast member Phaedra Parks’ husband Apollo Nida has been going through a legal whirlwind for the past few months after it was revealed that he was involved in a bank fraud scheme where he allegedly defrauded multiple people to the tune of over $2 million and now he’s finally stepping up to officially take the wrap for his part. via Atlanta Journal Constitution Apollo Nida, the husband of Phaedra Parks, today pled guilty to charges of mail, wire and bank fraud in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. In court, wearing a light-colored plaid jacket, Nida accepted charges that could land him in prison for up to 30 years and a fine of up to $1 million on top of restitution for an estimated $2.3 million he allegedly defrauded various individuals, financial institutions and government agencies. Alana Black, the assistant U.S. attorney, told Judge Pannell Nida’s scheme in detail. He opened a fake debt collection agency to gain access to databases full of individual’s personal information. He would then steal people’s ID and find unclaimed funds, refunds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, stolen U.S. treasury checks and refunds from fraudulent U.S. income tax returns. Nida had St. Julien open UPS mailboxes and bank checking accounts using those fake identities, deposit those checks, then pocket the money. Later, he created fake auto dealerships and then get auto loans for phantom cars. Nida said in court that he takes “full responsibility for my actions” and expressed regret for hurting his family and any individuals and institutions affected by his fraud. “It was a dumb situation I put myself in,” he said. As an explanation for the reasoning behind his shady shenanigans, Apollo claimed it was the pressure to keep up with Phaedra’s abundant stream of income following his prison stint that led him down the wrong path, but also made it clear that she knew nothing about his criminal antics. He did provide some context for his actions. In 2009, Nida had just left prison after five years for federal racketeering charges related to auto title fraud. He and Parks married and she soon signed on to be part of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” He said she was making far more money than him and he felt pressure to keep up. Without easy legitimate ways to make quick money, he opted for this illegal scheme instead. But he claimed to her he was running a legitimate debt recovery firm and kept her firmly in the dark. Looks like things will be definitely be getting worse before they get better where Phaedra and Apollo are concerned. Photo Credit: Bravo TV

U.S. Congressman Vance McAllister (R-LA) has admitted that video surveillance footage, allegedly showing him kissing a staffer who is not his wife, is him. Vance McAllister Surveillance Video First reported by the Ouachita Citizen, a West Monroe, La., newspaper in his district, the grainy video came from an anonymous source last December. It shows a man turning off the lights in a hallway before briefly exiting the frame. When he comes back in frame, he is joined by a woman and they kiss passionately. None of the footage, which the newspaper says was shot in Vance McAllister’s Monroe district office, clearly shows the faces of the two individuals. The woman is identified as his district scheduler, Melissa Anne Hixon Peacock, 33. On Monday, McAllister issued a statement admitting he is the man on video: “There’s no doubt I’ve fallen short and I’m asking for forgiveness. I’m asking for forgiveness from God, my wife, my kids, my staff and my constituents who elected me to serve.” Busted! “Trust is something I know has to be earned whether you’re a husband, a father or a Congressman. I promise to do everything I can to earn back the trust of everyone I’ve disappointed.” McAllister won a November 16 special election to replace Rodney Alexander, who was named the secretary of the Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs in August. McAllister campaigned as a devout Christian, using his faith and his 16-year marriage to appeal to conservative voters in the Northern Louisiana district. In January, he invited Willie Robertson , a member of the controversial reality-television show Duck Dynasty , to be his guest at the State of the Union address.
Looks like the Royal Baby Watch and the heat wave gripping much of the Northern Hemisphere are officially starting to make people insane. Exhibit A: Spanish artist Kaya Mar dropped off a “tribute” to the mom-to-be at St. Mary’s Hospital’s Lindo Wing – RBW ’13 Ground Zero – on Friday. His painting features Kate Middleton making like the Mona Lisa, nursing the royal heir(ess) and extending one slender leg out from under her robe. For whatever reason, one of Queen Elizabeth’s corgis is also there. This may be the weirdest thing of all time, but at least it makes Kate Middleton’s official royal portrait look … a lot less awkward and a lot more royal, for sure. Gotta be the heat. It’s driven Kate out of the palace and into her parents’ house because they have A/C, and now it’s driven Kaya Mar out of his mind.
