‘I wish I could have worn one of those funny hats, dude,’ Shia LaBeouf jokes to MTV News at NYC debut. By Josh Wigler Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Shia LaBeouf attend the “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” premiere in New York City Photo: Getty Images Mark your calendars, boys and girls: June 28, 2011, is officially “Transformers” Day in New York City, as announced at Tuesday night’s red-carpet premiere of “Dark of the Moon,” the third (and potentially final) installment in Michael Bay’s robot-smashing, record-obliterating blockbuster trilogy. On one hand, it was an event packed with more excitement and enthusiasm than a downtown Chicago brawl between Optimus Prime and his Decepticon rivals. On the other, it was bittersweet. “It feels like graduation day, you know?” Shia LaBeouf told MTV News about his feelings on the night of the premiere. “I never went to college. I spent all of my college years on the set. This is my graduation. I wish I could have worn one of those funny hats, dude.” But even LaBeouf was able to make light of the situation. Asked what he’d wear underneath his graduation gown, he laughed: “Nothing. A unitard. A leopard unitard and a graduation hat.” For Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, the Victoria’s Secret model making her acting debut and replacing former leading lady Megan Fox in the process, this was the crowning achievement of an already-breathtaking experience. “It’s blowing my mind to be here right now,” she said of the premiere, which took place in a packed stretch of New York’s famous Times Square. “I’ll never, ever forget the last couple of weeks. It’s been a dream come true. You see all of your hard work paying off. Look at all of these amazing people that [came out to] support this movie. It’s really humbling.” Humbling (and probably overwhelming) isn’t a surprising reaction, considering the presence of hundreds upon hundreds of “Transformers” fans holding signs like “I
For the first time since he caused an uproar in Nashville, and then proceeded to make a round of apologies and appearances , Tracy Morgan took to the stage on Saturday night for a stand-up routine. He appeared on stage at Caroline’s in NYC and immediately told the audience he was gonna be “mellow.” But that’s far from the style that has made the 30 Rock star famous, of course, as went on deliver jokes about masturbation, ejaculation, the female anatomy and other topics that had the crowd in stitches. About 45 minutes in, Morgan said: “You’re all sitting here waiting for me say something about the controversy, right? I’m 42, man, and now all of a sudden I’m homophobic?” He then joked: “My father was the lead singer in the Village People. I would sing the ‘Y.M.C.A.’ the loudest. I was sitting right there when he wrote the song.” Morgan shied away from any overt references to homosexuality, but he did re-tell a different joke to which Kevin Rodgers – the Facebook poster who originally called attention to the comedian’s rant earlier this month, and who hugged it out with Tracy during a recent press confrence – objected a few weeks ago. Regarding the joy of making women choke during oral sex, he riffed: “You gotta make that mascara run.” Witnesses say Morgan was mostly himself during the set – still unpredictable, still raunchy – and concluded the routine with the following message: “Gay, straight… I don’t care. As long as you’re happy.” [Photo: WENN.com]
Star Spotting: Justin Bieber Does His Best 'Haters Gonna Hate' Walk (With GIFs!) Read the original post: Star Spotting: Justin Bieber Does His Best 'Haters Gonna Hate …
Our names are Amanda and Sarah, and we are best friends. We NEVER thought that we would have such an amazing opportunity, and we read this tumblr all the time in jealousy …well not anymore! For all you people reading this right now and thinking that you will never meet Justin Drew Bieber, please don’t. NEVER SAY NEVER…..because we were JUST like you only a matter of days ago. Our Bieber experience started about a week before the day that we met him. We are from Long Island, and when we found out that Justin was going to be in New York City for a couple days we freaked out. Justin was planning to have a meet and greet at Macy’s , so we started to find out if it was possible for us to go. We researched for days, but we couldnt find ANY information about anything exept from one person here and there. We video chatted every night to see if one of us had found anything useful, but each night was another let down. In the process of looking into going to Macy’s we noticed that Justin Bieber was going to be on the Today Show that same exact day. We freaked out (..again) and started to find out how to get tickets and get into seeing him. Sarah found out that the Today Show is at 7:00 in the morning, and it would be almost impossible to get from Long Island to NYC at the earliest hours of the morning. Once again we were devastated. The whole cycle of being upset started all over again, and now we only had about 3 days until Justin was coming to NY. The next day Amanda was talking to her dad about it, and he offered to bring us to the city. We werent really sure if it was even going to be possible to see Justin. Going to Macy’s was out of the question, because Justin had already tweeted about it, and basically every belieber on the east coast was going to be there. The next day was extremely frustrating. Justin had just tweeted more about being in NYC and we were getting seriously stressed over this. That night Sarah went to practice, and Amanda went to twirling, just like a normal night. Amanda’s talked to her dad again about going not to Macy’s but to the Today Show and he said that he was still open to taking them. When Sarah got out of practice she had 5 new messages, 3 missed calls, and 2 new voicmails. Some from Justin’s twitter, but all the rest from Amanda urgently trying to reach Sarah. By the time everything was worked out, it was so last minute, because the show was the next morning, that we just decided to leave early in the morning and Sarah would sleep over Amanda’s house. That night we bought a poster and markers and purple sparkles, the poster said “CURE MY FEVER DR. BIEBER”. We rushed off to bed, because we would be getting up at 3 in the morning. Niether of us slept that night. Of course we got up at 3 and left the house at 3:30 …we got to the city at 4:30 and it was still dark out. In Rockfellar Center we waited on a line on the street for about an hour and a half until we were allowed to go into the set of the show, which was set up outside. Since we were one of the first 30 people on line we got a good standing spot right up against the metal barricades. It was SO fun to meet beliebers just like us, and basically the whole time we talked to them, and it was so easy to relate! The show started at 7 with boring news, and by 8 they were still broadcasting news and weather, so people were starting to get anxious. The forecast said that it was supposed to rain, and if it rained we all knew that Justin would not be coming outside. Our hearts were literally beating out of our chest with nervousness. It was both our second time seeing Justin in person, but we knew that he had changed a lot since the last time we saw him. At about 8:30 people started to scream, they saw him inside. We screamed until we couldn’t talk any longer, and he walked outside. The tears literally came our my eyes within a matter of seconds of seeing him. Everyday we would talk about him and look at pictures of him online, and he was only 10 feet away from us. He was in a good mood, because he went around the whole perimeter of the baricades and signed and took pictures with almost everyone. By the time he was about 5 feet from us, taking pictures with lucky fans and always smiling, the tears were running down our face more that we had ever cried in our lives. We kept turning to eachother and just crying and smiling, because it was the most amazing feeling that we had ever experience in our lives. Justin came around to us and he signed Sarah’s JB pillow with a cute “JB” right on the back. He also signed our poster that we made. Unfortunately we didnt get a picture with him because he was moving so fast . But that didn’t matter, and it still doesn’t matter. It took him a good 20 minutes to get around to almost everybody. In total, we got about 6 texts from different people saying that they saw us on TV. It turns out that we were on TV about 4 or 5 times which was AMAZING. A lady who worked for NBC took a picture of our poster and put in on twitter, we were hoping that Justin would see it. In all, for both of us, with no exaggeration, it was the best day of our lives. It was the most amazing experience of our lives, and we are so happy to share it with you! Seriously, take this as another reason to NEVER SAY NEVER. We met Justin, and #SOMEDAY you will too! Some critics of Jennifer Aniston’s newest relationship say that she “stole” boyfriend Justin Theroux from his girlfriend of 14 years , Heidi Bivens . In other words, haters say Jen pulled an Angelina Jolie. The 42-year-old fell hard for costar Theroux on the Georgia set of Wanderlust last fall, and “nothing was going to get in her way,” Us reports . But is that really the whole story here? “Jen went after him hard,” a set source says, dishing on how Aniston and Theroux began having secret trysts at her temporary, secluded digs. Charmed by his quick wit, hipster style and impressive screenwriter background, Aniston “overlooked her secret beau’s relationship status.” “Jen wanted Justin and it didn’t matter that he was already with someone,” says the source … but here’s one thing that doesn’t add up. Theroux ended things with Bivens in March. He began dating Aniston after that. Yes, Bivens was still living at their NYC apartment in June, but Theroux was not. So they weren’t living together in earnest. The source even says that Bivens “didn’t know Aniston was the catalyst” behind the split, the source says, “until now … it sucks when your ex dates the most famous woman in the world so soon after a breakup.” That it does, we have no doubt. But he didn’t go public with Jen until very recently, he and Heidi weren’t married, and there’s no proof of cheating. Somewhat unusual circumstances, but not home-wrecker material. There are some parallels here, but nothing like what happened with Brangelina. Perhaps the tabloids should stick to making up flat-out nonsense, like the story about Angelina Jolie being an anorexic heroin addict . That was good! [Photo: Us Weekly]

‘It was an apology from one human to another,’ one resident at NYC center tells MTV News of meeting the ’30 Rock’ star. By John Mitchell Tracy Morgan meets with LGBT teens Photo: GLAAD Earlier this month “30 Rock” star Tracy Morgan offended many with homophobic remarks he made during a stand-up show in Nashville. The comedian has since made several public apologies and announced this week that he had partnered with the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation in its efforts to combat anti-gay bullying. On Friday (June 17), in his first major project with GLAAD, Morgan met with youth from the Ali Forney Center in New York City, the nation’s largest organization serving homeless LGBT youth. The actor also met with Elke Kennedy, whose 20-year-old son Sean was killed in 2007 in an anti-gay hate crime. “Initially, he seemed very nervous, I think he seemed kind of frightened when he got there,” Carl Siciliano, the head of the Ali Forney Center, told MTV News after the meeting with Morgan. “I don’t think he knew what to expect from us.” Siciliano said Morgan was “very apologetic” and ‘just wanted to make it really clear that he was there to apologize, that he hadn’t meant to do this, that he was hurt by what he had done. He was repeatedly apologetic.” At the center, Morgan spoke openly with the young residents, including Jayden, who was rejected by her family when she came out of the closet. “It was an apology from one human to another and I really appreciated that,” Jayden told us. “Today, Tracy saw firsthand the toll that homophobia and anti-gay violence can take on a person’s life,” GLAAD President Jarrett Barrios said in a statement. “By meeting with LGBT teens left homeless because of who they are, we hope that Tracy has come to understand that so-called ‘jokes’ about gay youth are not just irresponsible, they are damaging.” The actor also spoke with Kennedy, an LGBT activist who travels around the country speaking out against anti-gay violence and rhetoric as part of Sean’s Last Wish , an organization she founded in her son’s memory. According to Kennedy, Morgan was so moved by Sean’s story that he got choked up, saying, “You know, that should never happen. That’s why my comments, the ones I made, are not going to be made again.” Kennedy said she believed Morgan was truly sorry for the comments he made, which included alluding to killing his own son if he grew up to be homosexual. “I feel like he made a commitment during this meeting to make a difference,” she told MTV News. “He said that he was going to use his talent as a comedian to be an advocate for the LGBT community.” During the meeting, Morgan announced that he’ll return to Tennessee on June 21 to apologize to those he offended during his stand-up act. While in Nashville, he also plans to meet with the Tennessee Equality Project and local advocates. What do you think of Tracy Morgan’s efforts? Tell us in the comments.
