People Ain’t Isht: Pervy NYPD Cop Fired For Secretly Taking Raunchy Pics Of Woman After She Was Sexually Assaulted Sues Department For Pension Gwap!

What the HELL makes this fool think he deserves some money?? Fired Pervert NYPD Cop Sues Department For Pension Money Via NYDailyNews A former detective who was canned for allegedly taking sexually explicit photos of rocker David Bowie’s stepdaughter after she had been raped — and a photo of another, topless woman in police custody — is suing the New York Police Department to get his pension. Richard Vecchio claims he would have racked up over 20 years on the job had he not been fired for official misconduct. “His retirement benefits should not have been diminished in any way as a result of that termination,” his suit in Manhattan Supreme Court states. And Vecchio is suing even though a state appellate court last year upheld the NYPD’s decision to fire him for “the criminal offense of official misconduct.” The charges that Vecchio “violated several provisions of the Patrol Guide by, among other things, improperly taking and possessing nekkid photos of an arrestee and a sex assault victim are supported by substantial evidence,” the court ruled. There was no immediate comment from the NYPD. Vecchio was told to turn in his gun and badge in 2004 after prosecutors accused him of taking 15 nekkid pictures of then 25-year-old Stacia Lipka, whose mother was Bowie’s ex-wife. #CreepLife The photos of Lipka were taken at a Staten Island hospital room. Vecchio and his partner, Detective John Holbert, were investigating Lipka’s sex attack. Vecchio was also accused of snapping lewd photos of then 20-year-old Kristina Sellers after she had been stopped because police thought she left the scene of a 2003 accident. She was later cleared of that. The sick snaps were later found in Vecchio’s locker at the 123rd Precinct along with an freaky magazine, a bottle of whiskey, and pictures of Britney Spears. Vecchio was acquitted in a bench trial, but his two accusers went public and sued. The city wound up settling, paying $80,000 to Lipka and another $70,000 to Sellers. Meanwhile, the NYPD fired Vecchio in September 2008 after he was found guilty of 11 out of 19 disciplinary charges and partially guilty of four others in a departmental trial. Vecchio appealed. But it wasn’t until April 2012 that the appellate division ruled on the case and upheld all but two of the charges for which he was found guilty. The audacity of this thirsty a$$hole! He gets “pension” every time he gets to breathe air with his freedom still intact. Images via AARON SHOWALTER/NYDaily Continue reading

Random Ridiculousness: NYPD Detective Hacks Into 40 Email Accounts To Spy On Ex-Girlfriend

Really homie? You go through all that trouble for a female. Man Hacks 40 Email Accounts To Spy On Ex-Girlfriend According to Raw Story An NYPD detective was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly spying on more than 40 email accounts, including 21 of his fellow officers. NBC 4 New York reported that Edwin Vargas, 42, was questioned last month for stalking his ex-girlfriend online. Vargas suspected his ex-girlfriend had been cheating on him. According to a FBI press release, Vargas allegedly paid an e-mail hacking service more than $4,000 to obtain the log-in credentials of at least 43 personal email accounts and one cellular phone belonging to at least 30 different individuals. Of those 30 individuals, 19 were current NYPD officers, one was a retired NYPD officer, and one was on the NYPD’s administrative staff. Vargas was also accused of accessing a federal crime database to obtain information about two NYPD officers without authorization. “When law enforcement officers break the laws they are sworn to uphold, they do a disservice to their fellow officers, to the department, and to the public they serve, and it will not be tolerated,” Manhattan U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara said. Vargas has been charged with one count of conspiracy to commit computer hacking and one count of computer hacking. Each count carries a maximum one-year sentence. NYPD officials told the Wall Street Journal he has been suspended with pay. Homie got too much time on his hands. Shutterstock

Race Matters: NY State Senator Says NYPD Chief Claimed ‘Stop & Frisk’ Was To ‘Instill Fear’ In All Blacks And Latinos

Isn’t the police department supposed to protect and serve? Stop And Frisk Instills Fear In Minorities Via NewsOne reports: During the ongoing “ stop and frisk ” trial in Manhattan’s federal court, a state senator said today that NYPD commissioner Ray Kelly implemented the program to “instill fear” in the minds of the city’s Black and Latino populations. Current and former police officials have already offered testimony surrounding the policy but the testimony from State Sen. Eric Adams (D-Brooklyn) may have been one of the most explosive to date, reports the New York Daily News. During a 2010 meeting between former Gov. David Paterson, State Sen. Marty Golden (R-Brooklyn), former Assemblyman Hakeem Jeffries (D-Brooklyn) and Commissioner Kelly, Sen. Adams said he expressed concerns about the policy. But Kelly allegedly responded by saying that the shakedowns were necessary. “He stated that he targeted and focused on (Blacks and Latinos) because he wanted to instill fear in them that every time that they left their homes they could be targeted by police,” Adams said while questioned by plaintiff attorney Jonathan Moore. “First of all I was amazed that he was comfortable enough to state that that in that setting,” Adams continued. After Sen. Adams expressed dismay at Kelly’s alleged admission, the commissioner allegedly replied, “How else are we going to get rid of guns?” Discuss…
