Evelyn Lozada Is Stuck With Ochocinco Last Name According to TMZ reports : OCHOCINCO, PARTY OF ONE … is what Evelyn Lozada will be saying for the next few weeks, since she’s currently the only Ochocinco left in her family. Let us explain … When the “Basketball Wives” star got married in early July, she changed her last name to Ochocino to match her NFL star husband, Chad Ochocinco. A few weeks later, Chad went ahead with his pre-planned move to switch his name back to Johnson and Evelyn planned to change her name to Johnson as well, post-wedding. Unfortunately, we’re told Lozada has not received her official marriage paperwork yet … and she can’t legally change her name to match his until it comes in. To make things even more complicated … our sources say Chad still wants Ocho to be part of his life, so he’s adding the Ochocinco BACK to his name (before the “Johnson”) after the football season. After all the name-changing is said and done, he’s going to be “Chad Javon Ochocinco Johnson” and in a show of support, Evelyn will become “Evelyn Alexandra Lozada Ochocinco Johnson.” Wow. Evelyn Lozada And Chad Ochocinco Reality Show Photo Shoot Pictures Fresh off of their ‘I Do’s’ and a wild weekend at the Essence festival in New Orleans , newlyweds and attention-sloring reality stars Evelyn Lozada and Chad Ochocinco are back to puttin in work for their new “Ev and Ocho” reality show airing this fall. Although pics from their 4th of July nuptials are being kept under wraps for now, the new Mrs. Johnson was excited to share some behind-the-scenes photos from the couple’s first photo shoot for the show and has even changed her twitter handle from ‘Evelyn Lozada’ to ‘Evelyn Johnson.’ How cute. After spending Thursday trying to trade wide receiver Chad Ochocinco , the New England Patriots decided to release him, according to league sources. Ochocinco took to Twitter this afternoon to thank the loyal Patriots fans: “Thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to play for the “Patriot” organization… fans were f—— wicked awesome, I wish all of you the best…,” Ochocinco tweeted. The Patriots pushed trade conversations with other teams up to near the end of the day’s transaction deadline at 4 p.m. But despite conversations with other teams, there was not enough interest to make a deal. Ochocinco’s biggest issue in New England was not his ability; it had more to do with his ability to pick up the Patriots playbook, which the veteran wide receiver struggled to do. Earlier Thursday, there had been speculation that this was Ochocinco’s last day with the Patriots because the wide receiver left the training facility before the team’s OTA. However, Ochocinco said later in the day he had not been released and simply was attending an eye doctor’s appointment. In other words Ochocinco couldn’t catch up to speed with the playbook, and the Patriots decided to part ways. Luckily, Ocho isn’t in the same predicament as his good friend, Terell Owens and will more than likely find a new team by the time his name change goes into effect.
