Late Rapper XXXTentacion Confessed to Beating Ex-Girlfriend & Stabbing 9 People

Source: Miami Herald / Getty A few weeks ago Vic Mensa caught the wrath of the internet when he took a subliminal jab at the late XXXTentacion’s history of domestic abuse and the fans who follow him during the 2018 BET Awards Cypher. While facts are facts sometimes fans hate hearing the negative parts of their favorite artists or celebrities especially if it’s unproven allegations. Now Pitchfork is reporting that a newly surfaced tape features the “SAD!” rapper not only talking about beating on his ex-girlfriend, but also stabbing a gang of people in her presence which helped put the fear of God in her. Recorded while in the presence of his friends around the time he was arrested in October of 2016, the tape has X breaking down what led to him assaulting his ex and why she knew he was capable of worse. “I put my source of happiness in another person, which was a mistake initially, right? But she fell through on every occasion until now. Until I started f*cking her up bruh. I started f*cking her up because she made one mistake. And from there, the whole cycle went down. Now she’s scared. That girl is scared for her life. Which I understand.” He later explained why she feared for her life stating, “I’m in the New Times for Stabbing. How many people they put in the news? They said three. It was eight. In Deerfield. She knows that. She seen this sh*t.” Pitchfork was able to get their hands on the disturbing 27-minute tape through the Miami-Dade County state attorney’s office but only made a few minutes of the recording available for public consumption. While everyone is familiar with the charges he caught for putting hands on his ex-girlfriend the stabbing incidents were news to some fans and authorities. On the tape, in addition to the threats against his ex-girlfriend, XXXTentacion also referred to a stabbing incident in Deerfield Beach, Florida, saying, “I’m on[Miami] New Times for stabbing, how many people they put in the news? They said three, it was eight.” (On January 21, 2016, a local Florida newspaper reported that police were “searching for the person who stabbed three people during a fight in Deerfield Beach.” There is no record of anyone being charged with the stabbing, but a Broward County Sheriff’s Office report from the incident states that a witness “saw an unknown black male with tattoos on his face swinging a knife in multiple directions.”) Regardless of XXXTentacion’s very troubled history he has some of the hardest ride or die fans of any artist past or present and though his comments on this tape were disturbing we’re almost certain it won’t change how his millions of followers feel about his legacy. 5 Things To Watch For In Georgia’s First Governor Debate Between Stacey Abrams And Brian Kemp

The rest is here:

G eorgia’s Democratic nominee for governor Stacey Abrams cast what was likely the most important vote in her life on Monday. Abrams, who could make history as the nation’s first African-American woman governor, decided to vote early in Georgia instead of waiting for Nov. 6. “In a time when people are concerned about whether their ballots are counted, if we vote early, we can guarantee that people have time to correct any mistakes, to deal with any concerns — and if we vote early, we can deal with any concerns and we’ll know by Election Day, where we stand,” she told WXIA-TV . Here are five issues that will likely come up during their debate. Voter Suppression Kemp, who also oversees Georgia’s voting system as secretary of state, created a political firestorm over his alleged efforts to prevent Black people from voting by placing more than 53,000 voter registration applications on hold —about 70 percent of them from African-Americans. Outrage on social media also prompted Kemp to delete a controversial video from his office’s website on Thursday. He was accused of promoting racial voter intimidation. Donald Trump Policies President Donald Trump has tweeted his support for Kemp. Trump praised Kemp for the job he’s done as secretary of state. And Kemp has been a vocal supporter of the president’s policies, especially on immigration. IRS Debt The Republican Governors Association released an attack ad on Aug. 10 that tries to debt shame Abrams , who reportedly owes the IRS $54,000, stemming from financially assisting her parents. Abrams had previously made arrangements with the agency to pay her debt. Environment Questioning the science behind climate change is a core issue for Kemp and his fellow Republicans to please their base voters. Abrams has been unapologetically liberal while campaigning in the red state by arguing that climate change is real. Sexual Predators Kemp’s campaign approved an ad accusing Abrams of voting in the state legislature to let sexual predators work next to schools and childcare facilities. However, media fact finders stated that his claims are false. Georgia Isn’t Even Trying To Hide Its Racist Voter Suppression Efforts With This Video

Updated October 18, 2018, 2:30 p.m., EDT Outrage on social media prompted Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp to delete a controversial video from his office’s website, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported on Thursday. The video purportes to educate voters on Georgia’s advance voting procedures. Instead, the video created a furor because it features a Black child actor who failed to bring the acceptable government-issued voter ID to cast a ballot. Although the video was first posted in 2016, it remained on the site until Thursday. Kemp, who’s overseeing the state’s election system while also running for governor against a Black opponent, has been accused of using multiple schemes to suppress the Black vote. The video was viewed as part of his ongoing efforts. Georgia sends a racist voter suppression message with this video. It's one more tool in Brian Kemp's arsenal to target Black voters … https://t.co/Kqkmjet9Yx pic.twitter.com/gTrEFLP3jc — NewsOne (@newsone) October 18, 2018   Original Story: B lack Georgia voters searching the secretary of state’s website for information on advance voting will find a blatant message apparently intended to discourage them from voting. The message comes as a part of Secretary of State Brian Kemp ’s voter suppression package that is meant to help him and other Republicans win elections. He’s competing against Stacey Abrams who could become the nation’s Black woman governor. See Also: Georgia Removed Scores Of Voter From Its Rolls As Stacey Abrams Tries To Make History, Lawsuit Says The video , one of several voter information films on the official state site , explains how advance voting works in Georgia, using children to illustrate the process of in-person voting prior to Election Day. In the opening scene, a white kid walks into the election station and is directed to a clerk who takes a look at his government-issued ID card and allows him to cast a ballot. Moments later, a Black girl walks up to the clerk but searches frantically in her pocketbook for an ID card. She’s given a provisional ballot. The narrator later warns that provisional ballot voters, like the little Black girl, have three days after Election Day to present an acceptable ID or else their vote won’t count. Wow. So on the SOS website #BrianKemp has an advance voting video. Take a look at who gets to vote and who doesn’t. Nice messaging, Kemp. Please just #resign already. #gapol #gagov #TeamAbrams pic.twitter.com/D4gmMeb4Cw — Anjali Enjeti (@anjalienjeti) October 18, 2018 Georgia is one of the 34 states, mostly dominated by GOP lawmakers, which require voters to show some form of government-issued identification at the polls, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures . Kemp, who’s in a tight race against Abrams, discourages Black people from casting a ballot by fueling the view among many African-Americans that the voting system is rigged with obstacles against them, so there’s no point in even bothering to cast a ballot. And Georgia’s strict voter ID law is part of Kemp’s voter suppression arsenal that targets Black people. The law disproportionately affects poor people and voters of color. Kemp has also overseen an attempt to block 53,000 voter registration applications —about 70 percent of whom were African-Americans. Added to that, Georgia creates logistical barriers to suppress turnout in rural Black communities. Election officials make every effort to limit the number of polling stations and place them far away from larger population centers where transportation is a problem. Fortunately, voting rights advocates helped to thwart one of the latest attempts in August. SEE ALSO: Where Is Kierra Coles? Here’s The Real Reason Why A Black Female Lawmaker Left Office In Vermont

View post:

V ermont’s only Black female lawmaker revealing the reason why she left office may spark more conversations in coming weeks. Kiah Morris , who resigned last month, detailed the negative trials she faced while working for the state that Bernie Sanders  represents as senator. RELATED: Vermont’s Only Black Woman State Rep. Refuses To Run For Reelection After Years Of Racism Morris, 42, a Chicago native, cited years of racial harassment as a prime motivator in her decision to leave her post and a re-election race. She also emphasized white supremacy and “toxic political discourse” as severe issues in the state. Issues, she said, that were often overlooked. “There were individuals in the community and throughout the state that we were finding were parts of white supremacist groups,” Morris said about the majority-white state, according to BBC . “Because we were so progressive and because we have been working so hard on so many issues of equality, we just sort of fell asleep and didn’t pay attention to that.” Kiah Morris: Vermont's only black woman lawmaker on why she quit https://t.co/adhJKWy7i6 — BBC News (World) (@BBCWorld) October 16, 2018 Morris, who in 2014 became the second Black female member ever elected to the Vermont state legislature, had a horrible experience at times. She received death threats, and vandals targeted her property. She once even found swastikas painted on the trees near her house. An online bully and repeat offender prompted her to get a restraining order, but threats continued. The threats got worse with Trump’s election, she also said. However, those who sought to push Morris out of office couldn’t undo what she had done: pushing legislation extending free contraceptive coverage to residents, working to control pollution and “address racial and income disparities in the education and the criminal justice systems.” Morris feels that she has taken her life back with vacating the office after such turbulence. She believes that people should not be blamed for putting their safety or their families’ safety first by leaving high-profile political offices that can bring terror to their lives. As several other Black women move forward with running for various offices nationwide, Morris’ experience offers a cautionary tale—or more motivation for them to fight against racism. U Mad?: Melania Trump PR Flack Calls For Boycott Of T.I. Due To Stripper Lookalike

Source: screen cap / Twitter Melania Trump , the self-called most bullied person in the world, has a beef with T.I. The Africa-visiting First Lady, well actually her PR rep, is calling for a boycott of T.I. after the rapper posted a video of a lookalike stripping in the White House.  Dear 45, I ain’t Kanye. pic.twitter.com/BCS8nkbn1M — T.I. (@Tip) October 13, 2018 On October 12, T.I. shared the above clip with the caption “Dear 45, I ain’t Kanye,” on Twitter. T.I. is seen in what looks like the Oval Office while a woman that looks a lot like Melania Trump is seen busting it open. Just in case you can’t make the connection, the stripper is also rocking the same “I Don’t Care, Do U?” jacket that Melania admitted she used to troll the media. The clip itself is a promotional video for T.I. just released new album, Dime Trap . The Associated Press reports that Melania Trump’s spokeswoman, Stephanie Grisham, is calling for a boycott of the rapper. Yeah, good luck with that. We’re not going to act like the woman in the video wasn’t objectified, though. But we will point out the irony of Team Trump having a beef considering Donald Trump’s…existence. The trolls got trolled. But please, tell us what you think in the comments. Kanye West Gave Kids Free Yeezys In Uganda, Still Sunken

Source: STRINGER / Getty Kanye West is currently in Uganda and attempting to spread goodwill. The Sunken Place MC gave out free adidas Yeezys to the kids while visiting an orphanage in the city of Masulita in the East African nation.  TMZ reports that Yeezy and Kim Kardashian got permission from Uganda’s Trump supporting President,  Yoweri Museveni , to used his helicopter to fly to the charity event for kids. Kim and Ye, rocking day-glo fits, were greeted with cheers, even more so when they presented the free footwear. Of course, West posted clips of the festivities on Twitter because it didn’t really happen if it isn’t documented on social media. We gotta give him credit for visiting the orphanage, though, respect. Nevertheless, West has a LONG way to go after that Oval Office debacle, if he even cares. Kanye West Reveals iPhone Password to the World

Kanye West met with Donald Trump in the Oval Office on Thursday, October 11. Reporters were on hand to document to totally ridiculous event, too, which included Kanye rambling about how much money he makes… how unfairly citizens treat the President… and why the 13th amendment really should be abolished . (This is the amendment that calls for the permanent end to slavery.) It was quite a spectacle. And, as we summarize below, it even left President Trump speechless… But there was one part of this meeting that Kanye may regret. It wasn't anything he said to the Trump, despite how utterly insane and ignorant the rapper sounded during his 10-minute rant in front of the cameras. Instead, it was the time he accidentally revealed his iPhone password to the entire world. Really. This happened. After rambling about such topics as bipolar disorder, “male energy,” Superman, alternate universes and the Unabomber, West said he wanted to show the President a photo. It was off the type of plane he believes the Commander-in-Chief ought to fly in. “This right here is the iPlane 1. It’s a hydrogen-powered airplane, and this is what our president should be flying in. Look at this, Jared,” he said, hilariously showing the picture to Jared Kushner. Trump, evidently impressed, responded, “We’ll get rid of Air Force 1.” But here's the thing: In order to get to the snapshot on his phone, Kanye had to type in his password. And SportsNet New York’s Kenny Ducey was able to zoom in and get a close-up of West as he pulled out the piece of technology and typed in his secret number… … which is not to secret anymore. Watch the very brief video featured on this page to learn the password!

Brian Kemp Launches Crazy Accusation At Stacey Abrams After Getting Caught Trying To Steal Election

Continue reading here:

G eorgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp fired off a ludicrous accusation against Stacey Abrams on Thursday, as he also announced under pressure that his office would allow scores of mostly Black voters to cast a ballot on Election Day. See Also: Georgia Removed Scores Of Voter From Its Rolls As Stacey Abrams Tries To Make History, Lawsuit Says Kemp, a Republican, oversees voter registration and elections as secretary of state. He’s also the GOP’s nominee for governor and is running against Abrams. She’s attempting to make history as the nation’s first African-American female governor. They are locked in a very tight race. His office had placed more than 53,000 voter registration applications on hold—about 70 percent of them from African-Americans, the Associated Press reported on Tuesday. The AP report created a firestorm of criticism against Kemp, who’s backed by President Donald Trump . Kemp denied any wrongdoing. Nevertheless, in a tweet on Thursday morning, Kemp said the 53,000 registrants would be allowed to vote. He also accused Abrams of manufacturing “outrage off a problem she created” and using fear to raise campaign funds. The 53,000 Georgians on our pending list can vote this fall. Abrams is afraid to run on her extreme record so she manufactures outrage off a “problem” she created. She uses fear to fundraise and liberal billionaires continue to bankroll her corrupt enterprise. #gapol #gagop pic.twitter.com/UQpdurabG5 — Brian Kemp (@BrianKempGA) October 11, 2018 At issue was Georgia’s “exact match” law, which requires information on voter registration forms to exactly match the registrant’s ID information. Applications are put on hold, for example, if a registrant’s name appears on a driver’s license with a hyphen but the hyphen is missing on the registration application. Making matters worse, registrants are usually clueless about the reason election officials rejected their application. A new poll shows that Kemp has a nominal two-point lead over Abrams. The Black voters among the 53,000 registrants at issue could easily push her over the top. Meanwhile, voter rights advocates are keeping a close eye on Kemp. “We sued Brian Kemp in #Georgia over his discriminatory exact match scheme in 2016 and won. We will not stand by idly while GA lawmakers resurrect this discriminatory policy again,” The Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law tweeted on Thursday . SMH: Jim Brown Kosigns Kanye’s Koonery, Says No One Should Protest The Flag [Video]

NFL Jim Brown Visits White House With Kanye West Kanye West isn’t alone with his love and support of Trump. NFL legend Jim Brown has Yeezy’s back every step of the way, which includes taking visits to the White House with him. On Thursday, both stars sat with 45 in the Oval Office and chatted it up about absolutely nothing . However, Mr. Brown did have something to say about Colin Kaepernick and anyone else who protests the National Anthem, the flag, or anything American: “Well, I can be very blunt about taking the knee. First of all, I’m an American. That flag is my flag. The things that I’ve overcome in this country have made me a better person. I don’t think that we should take knees in protest. … I think we should work out our problems.” As for his brotherly visit to the White House with Yé, Brown said: “This is the President of the United States. He allowed me to be invited to his territory, he treated us beautifully, and he shared some thoughts, and he will be open to talking when I get back to him. That’s the best he could do for me.” Okay, sir.
