KOCO-TV in Oklahoma City reported that Christianity was apparently offensive, government bank examiners determined in a bank visit in Perkins, Oklahoma. Federal Reserve examiners come every four years to make sure banks are complying with a long list of regulations. The examiners came to Perkins last week. And the team from Kansas City deemed a Bible verse of the day, crosses on the teller’s counter, and buttons that say “Merry Christmas, God With Us” were inappropriate. The Bible verse of the day on the bank's Internet site also had to be taken down. read more

Clinton advisor: Only a terror attack can save Obama

A former senior advisor to President Bill Clinton says that the only thing which can rescue Barack Obama’s increasingly tenuous grip on power as his approval figures continue to plunge is a terror attack on the scale of Oklahoma City or 9/11, another startling reminder that such events only ever serve to benefit those in authority. Buried in a Financial Times article about Obama’s “growing credibility crisis” and fears on behalf of Democrats that they could lose not only the White House but also the Senate to Republicans, Robert Shapiro makes it clear that Obama is relying on an October surprise in the form of a terror attack to rescue his presidency. “The bottom line here is that Americans don’t believe in President Obama’s leadership,” said Shapiro, adding, “He has to find some way between now and November of demonstrating that he is a leader who can command confidence and, short of a 9/11 event or an Oklahoma City bombing, I can’t think of how he could do that.” added by: maasanova

Oklahoma City Bombing – April 19 1995

In 1995, Oklahoma City suffered a devastating attack of terrorism: a truck full of explosive was exploded in front one of Oklahoma’s Alfred P Murrah federal building, claiming lives of 168 people. Timothy McVeigh served a death sentence June 11 2001 for murder, and Terry Nicholas is now serving a life sentence. They were the people who were proved to be responsible for the Oklahoma City bombing. NBA Playoff Schedule 2010

Looking for the NBA Playoff Schedule 2010? Here is the current and upcoming NBA Playoff Bracket Schedul this 2010 that has been released and is also available on NBA’s Official Website. After much heated action from the NCAA March Madness Season, now is the time to be glued on the NBA Playoffs.  Once again the Eastern Conference and Western Conference will compete with each other for that much-awaited NBA Crown this 2010. The NBA playoffs will begin this Saturday, April 17, 2010. NBA Playoff schedule for 2010 is only 98% complete as of this moment but the first round for the Western Conference basketball matches have been announced. As you can see the top seed for the Easter Conference is the Cleveland Cavaliers  while the top seed of the Western Conference is still the Los Angeles Lakers. The Oklahoma City Thunders and Los Angeles Lakers will be having a face-off match on April 18, 2010 at 3PM Eastern Time to be held on Staples Center, Los Angeles California.
