Illuminati Files: Uncle BDR Doesn’t Think There’s Anything Wrong With Making A Profit From The “Occupy” Movement

Uh-oh! Uncle Russell ‘s true colors are starting to show… Russell Simmons has been attempting to co-opt the Occupy Wall Street movement for quite some time now, even though not everyone wants him to be there ( he has been asked to leave countless times ). Yet he returns to show his face, push his Rush Card debit card, make a few statements to the cameras, and get his photo taken. Recently, he even pat his pal Jay-Z on the back for introducing an “Occupy All Streets” t-shirt to the Rocawear clothing line . Now Billboard magazine has published an interview with Simmons, after tossing him some softballs last week. When asked about the t-shirt, Simmons says: What’s wrong with selling goodness? There’s nothing wrong with it. It’s not the most preferred. In yogi scripture, at least, the highest form of giving is giving without expectation. Selfless. But a lot of people need incentive. You should sell things you’re happy about. You should sell products that you’re inspired by, that promote lasting and stable well-being. Give the world something or sell the world something that you’re proud of. Jay-Z didn’t make a T-shirt [that said] “Fuck the Bums on the Street.” He wrote a T-shirt “Occupy All Streets”—I’m happy, it furthers the movement, it inspires the movement. Listen, I’m going to get every corporation that wants to support us to get branding as part of the process. No one’s against business. We’re against business having too much control over our government. Yeah, we’re glad we’re not the only ones noticing the sheep’s clothing don’t exactly fit this wolf. Source More On Bossip! Thank You For Coming Out, God Bless You, Goodnight: Video Hoes “Models” That Are All Washed Up

We’ve enjoyed you ladies, but your time has come and gone… In the late 90s “video models” became as big of, if not bigger, stars than the artists whose videos they were shaking their cakes in. Names like Gloria Velez, Melyssa Ford, Vida Guerra, and recently Angel Lola Luv have become household name amongst the urban/hip-hop community. Some of these women were able to take their moment in the spotlight and create other profitable opportunities for themselves, some were just happy to have the attention. In any event, life a video vixen has an expiration date, and for these ladies that date has come to pass. While we may always reminisce on the good ol’ days, it’s time that we pay tribute to these booty-bouncin’ bangers INCREDIBLE “body of work” one last time. Flip through the pages to peep some of finest attention slores that rap music has offered us over the years.

For Discussion: Does President Obama Owe George Bush And His Administration An Apology??

Former Vice-President Dick Cheney and his daughter Liz seem to think so… Former Vice President Dick Cheney praised the Obama administration Sunday for using a drone strike to kill American-born Muslim cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, but said President Barack Obama should now reverse past criticism of former President George W. Bush’s actions against suspected terrorists. Al-Awlaki — an American whose fluency in English and technology made him one of the top terrorist recruiters in the world — was killed Friday in Yemen, according to U.S. and Yemeni government officials. The strike also killed Samir Khan, an American of Pakistani origin, and two others who were in the same vehicle as al-Awlaki, said the U.S. official, who was briefed by the CIA. Khan specialized in computer programming for al Qaeda and authored the terror network’s online magazine, Inspire. “I think it was a very good strike. I think it was justified,” Cheney told CNN’s Candy Crowley on “State of the Union.” But “I’m waiting for the administration to go back and correct something they said two years ago when they criticized us for ‘overreacting’ to the events of 9/11.” To further his argument Chaney and his daughter Liz go on to say: The Obama administration has “clearly … moved in the direction of taking robust action when they feel it is justified,” Cheney said. Cheney’s daughter, Liz Cheney, went a step further, saying Obama “in effect said that we had walked away from (America’s) ideals.” “I think he did tremendous damage,” Liz Cheney said. “I think he slandered the nation and I think he owes an apology to the American people.” What say you? Has Barack Obama proved to be a hypocrite? Source

Guess Which ‘Scarface’ Cast Member Is Speaking Out Against The New Version Of The Gangsta Classic???

Last week we brought you word that Universal Films is re-creating a new ‘Scarface’. Well, apparently someone from the cult classic cast ain’t wit it!! According to TMZ reports : Say hello to a little controversy — because Robert Loggia (that’s R, as in Robert Loggia) says he’s STRONGLY against the “Scarface” update that’s reportedly in the works. In case you haven’t heard, Universal Pictures is rumored to have started production on a new “Scarface” project that’s being described as an “update” from the 1983 classic. According to reports, the new movie is supposed to contain elements from the ’83 version (man becomes drug dealer, kills a bunch of people, etc.) … but it’s not a sequel or a remake. But Loggia — who played drug lord Frank Lopez in the Al Pacino version — tells TMZ, “Scarface is a classic that should rest in peace! Nuff said!” He may be a haza (if you don’t know what this is we know you’ve never seen the flick), but he’s right about this one!
