REVOLVE Clothing celebrated their second weekend party in the Hamptons to celebrate the official launch of Moët & Chandon’s Rosé Impérial “Pink Flamingo” Bottle. The star-studded crowd enjoyed advanced access to the limited edition bottles, which will officially be released to the US public later this week. The REVOLVE Manor a Moët Secret Rosé Garden was set up to feature a different Moët Rosé each weekend throughout July, where bloggers, models, and others in the fashion industry enjoyed Moët Rosé Impérial from metallic pink-hued goblets and Mini Pink Flamingo Bottles from festive flute-toppers. Stars in attendance included Chanel Iman, Jamie Chung, Louise Roe, and Hailey Baldwin, with featured performances by Coco & Breezy Dotson, Desiigner, and D.R.A.M.
In honor of Bastille Day, A Moveable Feast: St-Germain Café Society Brunch Series kicked off this weekend for the first time ever in LA on July 9th. Co-hosts model and singer Caroline Vreeland and St-Germain Global Brand Ambassador Camille Vidal honored the gathering of the St-Germain Café Society at Republique. The brunch then moved to NYC on July 10th where co-hosts the Quann Sisters and and Ms. Vidal hosted at The McKittrick Hotel. Real Housewives’ star Ramona Singer, Basketball Wives’ Jennifer Williams and music exec Robert “Don Pooh” Cummins and Bad Boy’s Phil Robinson were among the guests who attended Philippe Chow’s anniversary party Jan. 12 at the eatery’s space in NYC. Party guests dined on hors d’oeuvre’s like chicken satay, green prawns and filet mignon in black bean sauce, prepared by chef Philippe Chow for the private fete. Nicole Ferrell, of WE TV’s Ex-Isle, was spotted busting a move on the dance floor, while Bad Boy manager Phil Robinson flicked it up with Jennifer Williams. 50 Cent was rumored to be dining in one of the upstairs private rooms. Video Shows Moment When Convicted White Man Punches An Elderly Black Man In Texas Conrad Barret, the offender in the above clip was sentenced to 6 years in prison last month for attacking Roy Coleman, 79. Feds were ordered to release video of the incident just this week. According to the NY Daily News , Barret filmed other clips that day that show him saying the n-word and commenting that black people “haven’t fully experienced the blessing of evolution.” SMH, this incident took place Thanksgiving weekend 2013. Hip-Hop Heavies Packed PlayStation Theater Nov. 17 For Global Spin Awards; Swizz Beatz Honored For Selling 300 Million Records Swizz Beatz went from show host to award winner during a surprise tribute at the Global Spin Awards. The producer was in the middle of reading from the teleprompter during the awards – known as the Grammy awards for DJs – when out came his old label mates the Lox, as well as his mother, father, uncle and wife Alicia Keys. They presented him with three plaques to represent the 300 million records he’d sold in his career. “He had just surpassed the 300 million record mark, and we thought that was the perfect opportunity that he would be unaware of, that would be extremely heartfelt and extremely special,” show founder Shawn Prez told BOSSIP. Beatz apparently had no idea that he’d get the nod, and looked genuinely surprised, tearing up a little bit as he accepted the plaques. The special moment was one of many at the Global Spin Awards Nov. 17 at the PlayStation Theater in NYC. The Rev. Jesse Jackson Dr, 2Chainz, T-Pain, Timabaland and Jonathan Cheban watched DJ Envy win DJ of the Year, Mark Ronson cinch the Breaking Barriers Award and DJ Carisma win Female of the Year. Hip-hop pioneers Melle Mel, Kurtis Blow, Grandmaster Caz and Busy Bee presented their peer Afrikaa Bambaataa with a lifetime achievement award. After the show, guests headed a few blocks away to Fabolous and DJ Mustard’s after party at Stage 48, where Ty Dolla $ign performed. The awards will air Nov. 24 on REVOLT.
