All this over a little reefer: Police shot and killed a man wielding a knife Saturday afternoon near Times Square after chasing him down Seventh Avenue from 44th Street to 37th Street. The unidentified man sustained multiple gun shot wounds and was taken to Bellevue Hospital at 3:12 p.m. as he was going into cardiac arrest. The knife-wielding suspect later died from his injuries. Authorities say the incident began when officers approached a 51-year-old man they say appeared to be smoking marijuana near West 44th Street and Seventh Avenue, in the heart of Times Square. The knife-wielding man became angry, pulled out an 11-inch knife and began to put a bandanna on his head, according to police said. He refused repeated orders to drop the weapon and began backing down the avenue. The suspect continued to flee for a number of blocks, drawing many officers into a foot pursuit that took them south of Times Square. Police said officers’ pepper sprayed the man six times but he held onto the knife throughout the seven-block chase. He then lunged at police at West 37th Street and two officers shot him in the torso. The police chase and dramatic shooting shocked tourists and passersby in the busy midtown area. Fox 5 News obtained this exclusive cell phone video as the suspect seems to taunt numerous police officers waving a knife at them in the middle of Times Square. Angel Colon was on his lunch break when he whipped out his cell phone and captured these moments just before cops opened fire. “You could see he has a Rambo type knife,” said Colon. “He seemed confused but he was quite edgy and cops were saying ‘drop it’, and then pow pow.” 42nd Street near Times Square is now shut down as police investigate. Witnesses tell us the suspect seemed erratic. “We see the guy as we came out the subway and my friend and I actually saw it (shooting),” said Julian Miller. Another witness Jobby Nogueras said “He was just swinging a giant knife around like he was kind of dancing with the knife.” The suspect was rushed to the hospital but no one else was hurt. When Fox 5 News asked one witness if he believed the shooting was justified. “He threatened lives of people so he had to be put down.” youtube myfoxny ABClocal
Arkansas Police Claim 21-Year-Old Chavis Carter Shot Himself While Handcuffed Another day, another black man dead. And likely killed by police . How did Chavis Carter shoot himself in the head while he was handcuffed in the back of a police car? That is the question investigators must answer after the 21-year-old was killed while being detained by the police. The story reeks of a cover-up. Chavis was a passenger in a truck that had been pulled over in Jonesboro, Arkansas. After police reportedly found marijuana in the truck, they pulled Chavis out, searched him, handcuffed him with his hands behind his back and placed him in the back of the car. When his name was run through the system, a warrant out of Mississippi was revealed. That part all sounds on the up and up and is pretty standard procedure. However, what happened next blows their story out of the water. As police went about their investigation, they say they heard a thump. When the two officers on the scene returned to the car, they claim Chavis was “slumped forward,” in the back seat. His hands were still handcuffed behind his back. Somehow, according to the officers’ story, Chavis managed to pull out a small-caliber gun and shoot himself in the head. How did an officer miss a gun during the search? Sergeant Lyle Waterworth offers an excuse for how Chavis got his hands on a gun, while in the car, “Any given officer has missed something on a search, you know, be it drugs, be it knives, be it razor blades.” Secondly, how does a man with his hands cuffed behind his back raise a gun and shoot himself? Teresa Carter, Chavis’s mother has her own theory, “I think they killed him…My son wasn’t suicidal.” Teresa also reveals her son was left-handed. He was shot in the right temple. Just before being taken into custody, Chavis called his girlfriend and told her he would call her from the jail. He clearly was planning on getting out. Both of the officers involved have been placed on administrative leave while the incident is investigated This is a damned shame. Those police know they are lying! Why would he kill himself over a simple arrest like that? Source
These broads ain’t isht ! A Florida mom who ditched her 1-year-old baby and escaped in the midst of an alleged theft at a Wal-Mart was apprehended the next night outside a dance club, according to reports. Ocala police say they collared Allison Niemeyer, 19, along with her sister, Laura Niemeyer, 22, Saturday after the pair allegedly tried to steal from the store Friday afternoon. As the scheme went awry, Allison Niemeyer’s son was left behind, and authorities went searching for both women on charges of felony child neglect and retail theft, according to The Gainesville Sun. The women had allegedly stuffed items into the baby’s diaper bag — a bathing suit, men’s undershirts and four women’s shirts worth $57.12, Central Florida News 13 reported. But as they tried to leave the store, a security guard called them back. That’s when police say the pair bolted. Allison Niemeyer took off immediately, leaving the baby with her sister, according to reports. Laura Niemeyer soon broke free from the officer as well, but reportedly left behind the baby and the loot. The women got away in a blue Ford Aerostar van that was waiting for them in the parking lot, police said. A tip, however, led police to find the women’s car at the Ocala Entertainment Complex on Saturday, The Sun reported. Police had the owner of the car paged, and when the sisters appeared outside, they were arrested. Besides the neglect and theft charges, Laura was charged with resisting a merchant and Allison was charged with violating her probation. Police said Allison is under house arrest until 2021 for her involvement in a home invasion robbery with a firearm that occurred in 2010 while she was pregnant. A 61-year-old man was pistol-whipped during the break-in, according to reports. Laura also has three previous convictions for retail theft and grand theft, according to News 13. Allison Niemeyer’s son was placed in the care of the Florida Department of Children and Families. These chicks sound like bad business. Thievin’ azz broads. Teaching that baby to steal before he can even talk — then leaving him behind… SMH! Source

Blond And Very Busty Bandit Robs Gas Station Rocking Beanie Brandishing Knife! Crazy Aussie: She’s the suspect every red-blooded Australian policeman will be hot on the heels of. A buxom bandit is on the run after holding up a petrol station on Queensland’s Gold Coast in the early hours of this morning. However, it’s likely that she won’t evade capture for long. The curvaceous blonde, who is believed to be in her 20s, made a series of schoolgirl blunders. Perhaps believing her ample assets would divert attention, her biggest mistake – which even the most amateur hold-up artist might have thought of – was failing to hide her face. She did remember to wear a glove to stop her hands from leaving fingerprint traces on anything she touched – but she put it on the wrong hand. The gloved hand clutched a knife, which she then took away with her after the robbery. Her tan was also a giveaway – if police eventually arrest her a study of her breasts (presumably by a policewoman) would help them in their line of inquiry, so to speak. She made no attempt to hide her hair style, either. Unless she decides to cut off those long locks they will help police compare a suspect with the woman captured on the security cameras at the Arundel filling station. No one was hurt in the robbery. But while the mistakes of the bungling bandit might cause some amusement, police weren’t smiling today. ‘There were a number of serious threats to harm the attendant and she fled with a small amount of money,’ a spokesman for Queensland police told Channel Nine news. Police said the store employee fought back by throwing items from the shelves at the woman as she fled outside, where a man was waiting for her in a four wheel drive car. It sped off into the night, but the woman left behind so many clues to her identity that police are hoping for an early arrest.
Connecticut Pediatrician Confesses To Possession Of Inappropriate Images Of Children And Teens SMH at this sicko … Got nerve to be a pediatrician. A Connecticut pediatrician is facing up to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to possessing more than 100,000 child pornography images and videos. Todd Parrilla, 48, pleaded guilty in Hartford Federal court on Monday. The sicko doc was nailed in August 2011 after cops in Kansas City downloaded more than 100 child-pornography images from a directory he managed from his home in Stonington, Conn., The Day newspaper reported. A raid on his home turned up more than 100,000 images and 10,000 videos of children and teens on his computer and hard drives. “This is a heinous crime,” said David Fein, U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut, according to local NBC. “That it was committed by a pediatrician, whose profession is committed to the well-being of children, makes it especially disturbing.” As part of his plea, the once-respected children’s doctor was forced to cop to his crimes during sentencing before the judge. “I downloaded and used a file-share program to receive images,” he said, according to The Day. “I exchanged images with the same program.” Prosector Raymond F. Miller took issue with Parilla’s sanitized confession. “The defendant talks about ‘images’ here,” Miller said. “We’re talking about child pornography.” Parilla will remain free until he is sentenced on October 24. WTF so this sicko is just roaming the streets a free man for the next four months??? Where is the justice in that? Source
No lie? Drake’s Entourage Refuses To Cooperate With Police Investigation Of Nightclub Brawl Would you ever have figured Drizzy’s peeps would be the type to not talk to onetime? Apparently that’s the case so far when it comes to the whole bottle hurling brawl at NYC nightclub W.i.P . According to TMZ reports : Members of Drake’s entourage are NOT talking to cops about the nightclub brawl with Chris Brown … because they do not want to become “snitches” — sources tell TMZ.. As one source put it, “We’re no running-to-the-police ass n**gas.” Chris Brown and his lawyers have been cooperating with police. As for Drake, law enforcement sources tell us the NYPD has spoken with his reps but they won’t be able to speak with the rapper until his lawyer comes to NYC. We have a feeling Wheelchair Jimmy and his thuggin’ entourage won’t be keeping their vow of silence much longer.
Police Tase 80-Year-Old Woman For Raising Cane But, wait…why didn’t she have on clothes??? Police in Dorchester County, S.C., used a Taser on a nude 80-year-old woman after she allegedly attempted to attack police with her walking stick. WCSC reports that when police answered a complaint of someone making loud noises in the area, they were met by an elderly woman wearing no clothes on her porch, reportedly hitting the steps of her porch with her cane. According to police, the woman, who spoke “confusingly,” began to swing her cane at the officers when police tried to take it away from the nude woman. As police continued to talk the woman out of swinging her cane at them, another officer used his Taser on the woman’s back. The woman was immediately transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment. When police investigated the area, they discovered that the woman, a former tenant, had broken three windows at the property after the owner attempted to give the deposit back to the woman. WCSC reports that no charges were filed against the woman despite the $250 worth of property damage. Source
