What the hell ??? One couple’s vehicular freaky time almost turned fatal somehow, but the girl who ended up with blood on her hands is blaming it on her boo thang’s facial acne! Seriously?! A 25-year-old woman has been arrested for allegedly threatening her boyfriend with a box cutter and assaulting him during an intimate moment in a parked vehicle this past weekend. Jennifer Joseph, of 394 Main St., was arraigned Monday on charges of attempted first-degree assault, criminal threatening, simple assault and resisting arrest for the Sunday morning incident. According to court documents, Joseph and her boyfriend, Dayne Titus, 21, were parked near the railroad tracks at the end of Lock Street early Sunday morning when their romantic moment turned violent. Titus told police that he accidentally pinched Joseph’s hand between his hip and the car seat and she became enraged, according to a police affidavit filed in 9th Circuit Court, Nashua District Division. “The defendant began yelling at him and removed a box cutter from the glove box of the vehicle. (Joseph) held the box cutter to him and said, ‘I could slit your throat at any time,’” court records indicated. After a brief argument, Joseph allegedly grabbed Titus’ neck with both hands before he was able to escape the vehicle, according to the affidavit, and she then followed him down Lock Street with the box cutter. Joseph is accused of swinging the box cutter in the area of his chest and then attempting to stab his neck with the weapon, but Titus eventually retrieved it, according to court documents. Titus was able to track down a nearby police officer and report the incident. Police allege that Joseph resisted arrested when an officer attempted to detain her. Titus suffered minor injuries to his face and neck during the assault, police said. Joseph told a different version of the events to authorities, claiming the couple began to “play-wrestle” inside the car, which may have caused Titus’ neck injury. She claims an argument ensued when the two began disputing whether to have an exclusive relationship. Although she admits to keeping a box cutter, duct tape and gloves inside her vehicle’s glove box for her work at an area candle shop, Joseph told police she does not know how it was removed from her car. She denied ever threatening the man with the box cutter and claimed the blood on her own clothes was likely from her boyfriend’s facial acne, court records indicated. Joseph was held on $10,000 cash or surety bail and has been ordered to have no contact with Titus and refrain from possessing any firearms or weapons.
