The music legend was to be sentenced to prison today after pleading guilty to blowing off her 2005-2007 tax returns … but the sentencing was moved to May 6 to give Lauryn a chance to repay a chunk of her $968,000 tax debt. Hill’s attorney said the singer recently signed a million-dollar recording deal with Sony … she was also planning to take out a $650,000 loan to put toward the bill. Ish is real in Chicago ! According to DNAInfoChicago A man died after being shot Monday morning in an area of Back of the Yards that neighbors described as quiet. The 22-year-old man was in the 1700 block of West 44th Street about 4:50 a.m. when he was shot, said officer Michael Sullivan, a Chicago Police spokesman. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, Chicago Fire Department spokeswoman Meg Ahlheim said. He later died of his injuries, said a spokeswoman with the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office. The morgue was not releasing the man’s identity pending notification his family. No one was in custody for the shooting, Sullivan said. Neighbors Gibron Lenero and Reyna Lenero said they woke up about 4:30 a.m. and heard arguing outside. Soon after, Reyna Lenero heard shots, she said. The couple, who moved to the area four months ago, said it’s a quiet residential street that’s well patrolled by police, and nothing like this has happened since they’ve been here. “It’s just families,” Gibron Lenero said. Reyna Lenero said she’s “a little bit” scared because the couple has two young daughters. “This was just a couple meters from our house,” Gibron Lenero said. Another local resident, Jose Gemenez, said he’s lived in different houses on the same street in this neighborhood for more than 30 years. He didn’t hear anything and was shocked when he saw cop cars and crime scene tape while getting his kids ready for school. “I’m kind of surprised because there’s a lot of police around here,” Gemenez said. “We don’t see the violence here usually.” He said the area was worse years ago, but things seemed to be getting better. “It’s not in this area, not on this side of the park,” Gemenez said. Via SplashNews : Roberts, 24 was busted by cops in Godfrey, Illinois after 28 storage units were attacked and electronics stolen. Police are hoping his distinctive look will help them track down other stolen items they’ve yet to recover that they believe he’s sold. He’s facing three felony burglary charges. “It’s the oddest thing I’ve ever seen in 20-plus years of law enforcement,” Captain Mike Dixon of the Madison County Sheriff’s Department said of the tattoo. “I’ve seen horns on foreheads and stars on necks, but I’ve never seen a skull on a face. I can’t explain it. It’s just odd.” He added, “There probably isn’t another guy out there with that tattoo, so if they bought something from someone with a skull tattoo, it’s probably this guy.” With a grill like this can you see Adam making money through any other means than a life of crime, riiiiiight? The “Flavor Of Love 2″ “winner” was involved in a domestic dust up with her hubby last weekend, and it sounds like homeboy ain’t up to no good anyway because he’s also facing some serious drug charges. Via Detroit News reports : An alleged drug dealer faces new legal problems after prosecutors say he assaulted his estranged wife, Deelishis, a model and reality show star who won the VH1 reality show “Flavor of Love 2.” Federal court records shed light on a minor celebrity scandal that broke earlier this week when a popular Web site claimed Deelishis was assaulted by a pack of angry strippers. Deelishis, real name Chandra London Davis, denied the report. The 35-year-old Farmington Hills resident, known for her ample derriere, posted a message on the social-media site Instagram, saying she tripped on icy stairs while wearing expensive designer shoes. “I am fine & will be even better in a few days!” she wrote. Court records offer a darker explanation. Deelishis was injured jumping out of a second story window Sunday in Farmington Hills after allegedly being assaulted by her estranged husband, Franklin resident Orlando Gordon, according to federal court records. Gordon was free on bond and awaiting trial in federal court at the time of the incident. He was indicted in January 2012 along with more than a dozen others and accused of participating in a drug-trafficking operation involving thousands of pounds of blow and kush. Prosecutors asked a federal judge Thursday to revoke Gordon’s bond due, in part, to the alleged assault. “Gordon has engaged in criminal conduct that endangers the community — from driving while intoxicated to assault and home invasion,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Steven Cares wrote in a court filing. “These criminal acts show that no set of conditions can reasonably assure the safety of the community and Gordon’s bond should be revoked.” U.S. District Judge Sean Cox will consider the request March 12. Court records and a police report portray a violent incident Sunday at the reality-show star’s home on Muer Cove north of 13 Mile, where Deelishis lives with her two daughters. At 4:20 a.m., Gordon smashed through the front door and struck Deelishis in the face, according to court records. Deelishis, who had been sleeping in her daughter’s bedroom, ran to her master bedroom, where her friend was asleep. The friend? Michael Blackson, a popular stand-up comic known as The African King of Comedy. He performed Saturday at the Music Hall Center for the Performing Arts in Detroit. Gordon allegedly chased the comic and hit him in the face, according to court records. Deelishis, meanwhile, locked the bedroom door. Her estranged husband tried to get into the bedroom, prompting Deelishis to rip open the window screen and jump two stories to the ground, according to police. She later fled to a neighbor’s home and Gordon left his estranged wife’s house, according to police. “Davis was in a lot of pain from her right wrist,” according to the police report. “Davis also had blood on her right hand.” She was taken to Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital. Gordon is scheduled to stand trial April 9. He is accused of heading a large-scale drug ring with a second man, Wendell Tobias of Detroit. During a prolonged investigation, federal drug agents have seized more than $1 million cash, classic cars and more than $130,000 in jewelry – including Deelishis’ engagement ring and Rolex watch. Hmmmm a whole bunch of stuff about this story sounds off, for starters — why is he sleeping in the Master Bedroom — there’s no guest bedroom? Just sayin’ we’ve been to Farmington Hills before and most 2-story houses there have those. Bad day for the birthday boy… Rick Ross’ Rolls Royce Crashes Into Apartment After Being Shot At Via Miami Herald A Rolls-Royce crashed into a building on Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale early Monday. Police are on the scene of the accident, which also reportedly involved a shooting. WSVN-Channel 7 is reporting that shots were fired at the Rolls in which a “famous rapper” was riding before the car went into the building. Police are on the street marking bullet shells in the 1500 block of Las Olas. The road is shut down to traffic. At around 5 a.m., several people in the neighborhood overheard shots fired, said Fort Lauderdale Detective DeAnna Garcia. Witnesses at the nearby Floridian diner said that South Florida rapper Rick Ross was in the car. No one was injured, she said. Police declined to say who was in the car. The rapper, according to reports, talked to investigators at the diner. We’ve had plenty of differences with the Bawse in the past, but hopefully no one is injured and everyone is safe. We’ll have more details as they emerge.
You want to see the epitome of a bad mother ? Meet Lessielee Ann King, a Houston mother who was hauled in by cops after leaving a bite mark on her 1-year-old’s face! Via CBS Local reports : A mother is accused of biting and chewing her own son’s face because she was jealous of him. According to reports, 20-year-old Lessielee Ann King was charged with felony injury to a child after the toddler’s father told investigators with the Humble Police Department that he found bruises on his little boy’s body. After arriving home from work one day, the father found marks on his son’s body. He also asked a family friend to move into the home with him, his son and King. That family friend confirmed his suspicions that King was abusing their child. The father of the young boy told police that he believed that King has anger issues and resorted to taking out frustrations on their son. Photographs of the abuse were given to authorities. King sits in jail with a $5000 bond. This ho needs to stay in jail and see how it feels being abused by someone bigger than her! Seriously — what kind of issues do you have to have to take out your anger and jealousy on a baby like that?

A young woman in the UK was arrested after a street drug she took caused hallucinations and side effects that gave her superhuman strength and the urge to bite law enforcement. Via UK Sun reports : A GIRL who tried to throw herself out a window after taking danger drug 2CB yesterday warned fellow teens to shun it. Emma Barnes, 19, who was stopped from jumping, was taken to hospital to be sedated but sank her teeth into a cop first. Boyfriend Shaun Kirkby, 24, had grabbed her legs as police raced to her house in Kendal, Cumbria. He said: “She had the strength of ten.” Emma admitted assaulting a cop at Kendal magistrates court and was told to pay PC Jayne Carpenter $476 compensation. She was put on supervision, must attend a drug awareness course and do 100 hours unpaid work. Emma, who had been hallucinating that she was being tortured, vowed never again to take the banned drug. She said: “It nearly killed me. It has put me off drugs completely.” We’re just glad she survived the episode. What ever happened to good old fashioned sticky icky?
