Lindsay Lohan Pretends to be Distraught of the Day

I know Lindsay Lohan and I can tell you that she’s loving every second of the media attention about her staged sentencing. She is using the cameras to demonstrate and practice her acting talent in hopes to relaunch her career. She is trying to come across as believable so the world’s heart cries for her, when really she knows she isn’t going to jail, she’s just on some PR hustle to make the world think she hit rock bottom, so that when her movie comes out where she plays the pornstar, people recognize her work coming from a broken place and the turnaround she made and will nominate her for an Oscar like she was Mickie Rourke, and if you believe anything but this is being a huge publicity stunt, you are an idiot and their strategy is fucking working….that’s probably why they are throwing in ex girlfriend Sam Ronson and Kim Kardashian, it’s all bullshit and I pretty much hate it and hope they get what they all fucking deserve, these waste of resources, distracting self-involved, privileged motherfuckers….They need to do something productive to society since they have the opportunity but instead are just useless fucking cunts….Disgusting…. Judd Apatow Working On Pee-Wee Herman Movie

‘Superbad’ boss will produce as-yet-untitled project starring and co-written by Pee-wee creator Paul Reubens. By Gil Kaufman Judd Apatow Photo: Michael Tran/FilmMagic In a perverse match made in movie-dude heaven, “Superbad” boss Judd Apatow is developing an as-yet-untitled Pee-wee Herman movie that will find the bow-tie-wearing ageless man-child going on a road trip built around a “gigantic adventure.” According to Variety , Apatow will produce, but not direct, the movie, which is being written by Pee-wee creator Paul Reubens along with “Inglorious Basterds” scriptwriter Paul Rust. “Let’s face it, the world needs more Pee-wee Herman,” Apatow told the magazine. “I am so excited to be working with Paul Reubens — who is an extraordinary and groundbreaking actor and writer. It’s so great to watch him return with such relevance.” The unlikely pair hooked up after Apatow attended one of Reubens’ recent string of “Pee-wee Herman Show” revival gigs in Los Angeles. After decades on the shelf, Reubens dusted off the show for a rabidly received run in January and February that also led to an upcoming 10-week booking on Broadway starting October 26. Reubens, who has sparingly rolled out the high-water Pee-wee gray suit and bowtie over the past 20 years in the wake of a 1991 arrest for indecent exposure at an adult theater in Florida, has slowly been making his way back into acting over the past decade. He’s made a number of cameos over the years, including spots on “Reno 911!” and a bit in the Raconteurs’ “Steady as She Goes” video, as well as stints on “30 Rock,” “Dirt,” “Chowder” and “Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!” “There is no one like Judd in our business — he loves comedy with emotion and heart, and he sees what we do as art,” said Reubens, whose big-screen debut in “Pee-wee’s Big Adventure” was handled by none other than “Alice in Wonderland” director Tim Burton in his feature directing debut. “I can’t believe I’m getting this opportunity to be working with him.” It will be the first Pee-wee big-screen adventure since 1988’s sequel, “Big Top Pee-wee.” As if the Apatow-Reubens collabo isn’t enough for freaks and geeks to get excited about, Variety also reported that IFC is going to air two of Apatow’s early series, “Freaks and Geeks” and “Undeclared,” with “Freaks” — featuring then-little-known actors James Franco, Seth Rogen, Jason Segel and Linda Cardellini — slated to start rolling out on Friday (July 2) and “Undeclared” slated for the fall, complete with unaired episodes. LIVE VIDEO of BP Oil Spill

Watch a live Video feed of the Estimate 2.5 Million Gallons/Day of oil gushing into the Gulf of Mexico from the Gulf of Mexico floor, 5000 feet below the surface of the water. It's really gut-wrenching. Tell Pres. Obama & Congress to stop offshore drilling, cut subsidies for oil and coal, & start subsidizing clean energy technologies! We need to bring people-powered politics to bear on government decision-making. We can't trust anyone else, not politicians, not corporations, to do it but ourselves — sign the petition: http://j.mp/a0lS4a added by: captainplanet71

CA: Control & Tax Cannabis 2010 Is Now Proposition 19

The Control & Tax Cannabis initiative has been designated Proposition 19 by the California Secretary of State. “This is a huge moment for our campaign,” said Richard Lee, the Oakland medical marijuana entrepreneur who is the biggest financial backer of the cannabis legalization initiative. “When we officially got our proposition number, it really hit home for me: This campaign is now real,” Lee said. “In four months, we'll be on the ballot, and millions of Californians will have the chance to vote to tax and legalize cannabis,” Lee said. “As we approach the election, we've got all the momentum,” Lee said. “Whether you look on TV, Facebook, or in your community, it seems more and more folks realize we've got to seize this opportunity to legalize, control, and tax cannabis.” Lee invites everyone to help keep the momentum going and educate voters about the brand new prop number by contributing to Yes On 19 here. added by: Omnomynous

In the meantime you can find out who is expected to start for each team with our squad sheets , or keep up with all the latest World Cup news on Sean Ingle’s live blog . Alternatively, you could find out why David Hytner thinks Germany’s football team are reaping the rewards of the country’s liberation generation . Here’s a snippet: When Sami Khedira and his Under-21 team‑mates held aloft the European Championship trophy last summer, after humbling England 4–0 in the final, they dreamed of changing the face of German football. Little did they know that their opportunity would come so quickly. After Euro 2008, Joachim Löw, the Germany manager, accepted the need to “rejuvenate” a squad that had become too heavily seasoned in parts. He has done so in spectacular fashion. Germany have only nine survivors from that tournament here. (It is worth remembering that they were runners-up in Austria and Switzerland.) And once Löw had done with filleting his squad, the players he turned to were almost all from the next generation. Sadly, African Teams Still Far Short on Talent to Contend in World Cup

Filed under: FIFA World Cup , International , Nigeria PRETORIA, South Africa — A few nights before this historic World Cup kicked off, the master of ceremonies at a gala in the Johannesburg suburb of Midrand honoring the legends of African soccer reminded attendees of how ignominious was Africa’s arrival in the World Cup in 1974. Mwepu Ilunga, a defender for Zaire, which that year became black Africa’s first World Cup entry, ran out of a defensive wall at the sound of the referee’s whistle and booted away the ball that had been placed for a Brazil free-kick. A video of the incident played on a video screen in the banquet hall and the MC announced Ilunga was in the room and would come to the stage and for the first time explain what all the years since stayed unexplained. “Ilunga?” the MC called several times. “Ilunga?” Ilunga was a no show, or early departee, which was the one thing the room full of African soccer stars from yesteryear, and those who came to see them that night, hoped would not be true of African teams with the first arrival of the World Cup on their continent. It will, unfortunately, be a struggle.
