Former Bush FEMA Director Criticizes President Obama For Quick Response To Hurricane Sandy Did the GOP have  a bath salts and booger-sugar bash last night while President Obama was busy addressing the nation and doing his duty as President to help brace the east coast for the wrath of hurricane Sandy? Because this is the only rational explanation that we can think of for why these fools continue to go public with these dumb and dumber statements like this one.. via Think Progress Former FEMA Director Michael Brown offered criticism of President Obama’s early responses to Hurricane Sandy yesterday, including a dig at the administration’s response to last month’s attack in Libya. Yesterday, ahead of the storm’s pummeling of the eastern seaboard, Brown gave an interview to the local alternative paper, the Denver Westword, on how he believed the Obama administration was responding to Sandy too quickly and that Obama had spoken to the press about Sandy’s potential effect too early. Brown turned then to a reliable right-wing attack on the President’s response to the attack on a U.S. diplomatic outpost in Benghazi that killed four Americans: “One thing he’s gonna be asked is, why did he jump on [the hurricane] so quickly and go back to D.C. so quickly when in…Benghazi, he went to Las Vegas?” Brown says. “Why was this so quick?… At some point, somebody’s going to ask that question…. This is like the inverse of Benghazi.” It must be azz backwards day. Cause that made absolutely NO sense. SMH.

It’s a dog-eat-raccoon world out there… Wisconsin Man Who Instigated Dog Raccoon Fight Charged With Felonies Via Fox11Online A 22-year-old Oconto County man is charged with two felonies for instigating a fight between his dog and a raccoon. “It’s the worst thing I’ve ever seen in terms of animal abuse in 35 years of being an attorney,” said John Evans, the district attorney for Oconto County. Evans says Friday was the first time he had to charge someone with instigating a fight between animals. It stems from a situation earlier this month when Paul Detert allegedly tried to train his raccoon dog how to hunt at his home in the Town of Maple Valley. According to a criminal complaint, Detert put the dog in a 55-gallon barrel and then put a live raccoon inside. “It’s horrendous, it’s depraved,” said Evans. “You can’t even describe what this might have sounded like. And he claimed when he was questioned, he volunteered information that the fight took between five and ten minutes. So to stand there and listen to that, although not being able to see it, is unbelievable.” According to the complaint, when Detert opened the barrel the raccoon was dead and his dog bit him in the hand. So what does the sick master do when his angry dog bites him? “So he decided to execute the dog by tying it up and shooting it through the head with a revolver,” said Evans. In the complaint, deputies claim they couldn’t see a dog bite on Detert’s hand when questioning him. In his defense, Detert says: “It is what it is” Way to show contrition sir. Clearly this guy never heard of Michael Vick, but he will soon enough…SMH To make matters worse, Mr. Detert was charged but never arrest or taken into custody! “White privilege”??? She called her critics the ‘world police’. LLS Attention slore Ann Coulter just stuck her foot in her mouth again after she refused to apologize for calling POTUS a ‘retard’ . She gave an excuse that just insulted folks with disabilities even more. According to The Daily Mail: Conservative political commentator Ann Coulter has defended calling President Obama a ‘retard,’ brusquely dismissing her critics after her tweet set off a firestorm among advocates of people with mental disabilities. During her appearance on Alan Colmes’ Fox News Radio show on Thursday, Coulter shrugged off the outcry over her choice of words, saying she doesn’t regret using the offensive term in reference to the president and blaming ‘liberal bullies’ for the backlash that followed. The controversy started after the right-wing pundit and author fired off a tweet following Monday night’s debate between President Obama and his Republican opponent which read: ‘I highly approve of [Mitt] Romney’s decision to be kind and gentle to the retard.’ In response, John Franklin Stevens, a 30-year-old Special Olympic athlete with Down syndrome, wrote an open letter about Coulter’s tweet, and other critics, among them liberals and even some conservatives, followed suit, demanding that she apologize. But when pressed on the issue by Colmes Thursday, the firebrand pundit doubled down on her choice of words, claiming that she did not use ‘retard’ as a derogatory term for people with special needs. ‘It would be one thing if I said in my tweet a joke about Special Olympics, a joke about Down Syndrome Look,’ she said. ‘No one would refer to a Down Syndrome child, someone with an actual mental handicap, by saying “retard.” Where do you think the words “imbecile,” “idiot,” “moron,” “cretin” come from? ‘These were all technical terms at one time. “Retard” had been used colloquially to just mean “loser” for 30 years. A judge shut Pilar down in court on Wednesday after she’d been fighting her prenup for months! Pilar’s been trying to get her agreement with ex-hubby Deion Sanders tossed out since they divorced after 13 years of marriage. Even though she lost this round, the ‘actress and model’ is still getting more than 10k a month in child support?!?! According to WFAA: Former Dallas Cowboys star Deion Sanders’ estranged wife, Pilar Sanders, came to court Wednesday hoping to prove the pre-marital agreement she signed was partially forged and pages were added. She wanted the agreement thrown out. However, the judge ruled there was no fraud, saying Mrs. Sanders willingly signed the agreement. Pilar Sanders’ attorney said not only was the agreement a fraud, the whole marriage was a sham. “She was tricked and defrauded at the time she signed agreement,” said attorney Larry Friedman. “Deion never intended this to be a lifetime commitment.” Mrs. Sanders’ original attorney, who worked on the pre-nuptial agreement, said Pilar got a $100,000 signing bonus to sign the document. Deion’s attorney Rick Robertson said, “If the marriage was a fraud, then annul it and give back the money. Give back the $100,000 signing bonus.” Deion Sanders said his wife knew what she was doing, and is trying to squeeze more money out of him. “Greed, greed!” Mr. Sanders said. “You signed it and now it’s over and your lifestyle is over, so you want to fight it. Greed.” The judge, who has heard similar arguments twice before, said Pilar Sanders willingly signed agreement, there was no fraud and told her attorneys not to bring the issues to his court again. Texas Woman Posed As Doctor To Trick Friend Into Lesbian Relationship A Texas woman has been arrested on charges that she impersonated a doctor in a bizarre scheme to trick a friend into engaging in a lesbian love affair and becoming her life partner. According to Lufkin News : Angela Buchanan, 30, of Lufkin, Texas, has been charged with online impersonation, a Class A misdemeanor. The 51-year-old victim suffered from breast cancer. The woman pretended to be a doctor, even using the Yahoo! Messenger handle “Doc.” She suggested they begin a relationship, boasting about the health benefits of a healthy romantic life, which was sure to increase hormone production. The “Doc” went over all the woman’s medical test results, and accompanied the woman when she underwent reconstructive surgery following a mastectomy. In August, they committed their lives to each other in a civil marriage ceremony. It wasn’t until the victim’s daughter started investigating her partner that she found out she had been conned. Angela Buchanan was arrested for a Class A misdemeanor charge and stands to pay a $4,000 (€3,000) fine and spend a year in jail. This should be a book. Fifty Shades of Gay. Or a tv show on ABC, Desperate Lesbian. Or a reality show, Keeping Up With The Cancer Lies. But seriously, the victim here is clearly mentally disabled, and this woman was taking advantage of that fact. This is just nuts! Angelina County Jail

Christina Hendricks Blasts Critics For Calling Her “Full-Figured” ‘Mad Men’ actress Christina Hendricks, who is well known for flaunting her tig ole’ bitties and curvaceous body on and off the red carpet, now says she’s offended when people refer to her as “full-figured.” via Fox News She has never shied away from the topic in the past, but it seems that questions for ‘Mad Men’ star Christina Hendricks about her figure may now be off limits. That’s what an Australian interviewer found out the hard way when she asked Hendricks, in town to promote the Specsavers 2012 Spectacle Wearer of the Year competition (yes we don’t know what that is either): “You have been an inspiration as a full-figured woman, what is the most inspiring story that you can remember?” Hendricks sputtered “I don’t know” before looking off camera, peeved. Hendricks reportedly said off camera that “I think calling me full-figured is just rude.” Hendricks’ distaste for the line of questioning was probably a surprise to the interviewer as, outside of her role on “Mad Men,” the actress is perhaps best known for bringing a fuller figure back into vogue in Hollywood, and is never shy about flaunting her figure on red carpets. Claiming that “everyone adores Chris” and that he’s a “super guy” in this week’s Life & Style mag, we wonder what kind of father would easily forgive a ‘man’ who assaulted your own daughter. Oh wait, that’s right; Rihanna’s dad has a violent history too. SMH According to Celebuzz: Rihanna‘s father would like his daughter to marry Chris Brown – despite the R&B star beating her up three years ago. Ronald Fenty has more than forgiven the bad boy for his assault and is now hoping he asks for her hand in marriage. “Whatever makes her happy. I hope one day she will get married,” he told Life & Style. “Everyone adores Chris; he’s a super guy.” Why does he have so much love for the star? “The family loved Chris Brown before they even met him,” Fenty continued. “I always thought he was extremely talented. He always gave me great respect.” Rihanna, 24, and Brown, 23, began dating in 2008, but their relationship ended when he brutally assaulted her one year later. However, the two have seemingly rekindled their romance after Brown broke up with girlfriend Karrueche Tran at the beginning of October 2012. Outspoken Fenty has made controversial comments in the past regarding his famous daughter. In addition to speaking out about her love life, he has also passed judgement on her figure. In March 2012, he admitted to Heat magazine he would tell the Bajan beauty if she had put on weight. “I actually thought she was a little fat, the last time I saw her,” he said. “But when I saw her at this year’s Grammy’s, I thought she was back to her normal size. “I used to joke with her, Robyn (Rihanna’s first name ) you’re getting too fat.” Let’s give him the Dad of the Year Award. Robney hopes get an up on votes by swaying CEO’s and, while we’ve been getting used to his shady azz , his encouragement goes against the definition of a ‘secret ballot’. According to The Huffington Post… In a June conference call hosted by the conservative-leaning National Federation of Independent Businesses, Mitt Romney encouraged business owners to let their employees know which candidate they support and how the election’s outcome will affect their business. During a telephone town hall with small-business owners, first reported by In These Times, Romney said President Barack Obama’s policies have hurt employers, criticizing the president on trade, labor, and his signature health care law. “It’s an anti-business, anti-job agenda,” Romney said. At the end of the call, Romney urged business owners to relay their thoughts on the election to their employees. “I hope you make it very clear to your employees what you believe is in the best interest of your enterprise and therefore their job and their future in the upcoming elections,” Romney said. “And whether you agree with me or you agree with President Obama, or whatever your political view, I hope, I hope you pass those along to your employees.” He continued: “Nothing illegal about you talking to your employees about what you believe is best for the business, because I think that will figure into their election decision, their voting decision, and of course doing that with your family and your kids as well. I particularly think our young kids … they need to understand that American runs on a strong and vibrant business and we need businesses growing and thriving this country.” Romney is correct that such behavior is not illegal. After the Supreme Court’s Citizens United ruling, which greatly expanded corporations and unions’ political speech, employers can legally compel workers to participate in political campaigns. However, the practice is often controversial…Arthur Allen, CEO of ASG Software Solutions, made a similar plea in a pro-Romney email leaked last week. “If we fail as a nation to make the right choice on November 6th, and we lose our independence as a company, I don’t want to hear any complaints regarding the fallout that will most likely come,” Allen wrote. The flyer was found circulating in one of the dorms at Miami University in Ohio. The school tried to keep the story under wraps and didn’t alert the student body . The school said it didn’t say isht because the incident was “confined strictly to McBride Hall.” SMH According to The Daily News… Miami University in Ohio is under fire after a disturbing flier offering tips on how to rape women was found in the men’s bathroom of a coed freshman dorm. The list, “Top Ten Ways to Get Away with Rape,” tells readers that “practice makes perfect,” adding, “the more you rape, the better you get at it.” “If you’re afraid that the girl will identify you, slit her throat,” the flier also advises. A resident assistant at the dorm, McBride Hall, found the note on the weekend of Oct. 6 and reported it to university officials the following Monday, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported. “I read the flier. I was shocked,” Barbara Jones, Miami’s vice president for student affairs, told the newspaper. “It has no place on our campus or any other campus.” In response, the university organized a mandatory meeting for male students in the dorm, launched a police investigation and ramped up police presence in the hall. But Kate Van Fossen, a junior at the university and vice president of Woman Against Violence and Sexual Assault, says the university should have done more, such as alerting the entire student body immediately after the incident. The university issued a response to students this week, Van Fossen said, adding that while she “appreciated” the notice, it was too little too late. “I don’t want to point fingers at the university,” she told the Daily News. “But it is so important for awareness to be pointed towards this incident because sexual assault does tend to be an issue that people brush under the rug.” Jones told the Cincinnati Enquirer that the university did not notify all students right away because the incident was “confined strictly to McBride Hall.” Van Fossen, however, questioned how serious the university is about sexual assault prevention given that the school has not had a sexual assault prevention coordinator in a year. “I was absolutely shocked,” she told the Daily News of the flier. “It brought tears to my eyes that someone on my campus, joking or not joking, came up with those things to say and posted them in a public place for other boys to see. You never know who [the poster] is reaching out to.” At least 27 sexual assaults have been reported on campus since 2009, with 19 of the assaults allegedly occurring in dorms, according to the Miami University Police website. Claire Wagner, the university’s director of news and public information, told the Daily News that officials have not yet identified the people responsible for the “awful” flier. The culprit, however, will face several possible sanctions, including removal from the dorm, mandatory educational programs and suspension.
