Justin Bieber’s arrest record has officially gone international. The singer turned himself in Canadian police last night and now faces criminal assault charges stemming from a night out in late December. Justin Bieber Arrested in Canada According to a press release from the Toronto Police Service, a limousine picked up Bieber’s party around 3 a.m. on December 30, following a Toronto Maple Leafs game and a few hours inside a club. An “altercation” then “occurred between one of the passengers and the driver,” with authorities saying “a man struck the limousine driver on the back of the head several times.” The driver pulled over, called the police and the alleged culprit “left the scene” before cops arrived. Witnesses have come forward in the past few days and said Bieber was the person who assaulted the driver.
