Colbie Caillat Recalls Breaking Dad’s Grammy On ‘When I Was 17’

The season premiere of ‘When I Was 17,’ also featuring Bow Wow and Christopher Mintz-Passe, airs Saturday at 11 a.m. ET on MTV. By Nuzhat Naoreen Colbie Caillat on “When I Was 17” Photo: MTV Colbie Caillat knows the value of a Grammy: The singer/songwriter already has two to her name. But back when she was 17 years old, an out-of-control house party nearly destroyed one of her father’s own coveted awards. On the season premiere of “When I Was 17,” airing this Saturday at 11 a.m. ET, Caillat tells all about that night. “When I was 17, we used to have parties at my parents’ house all the time. This one time, hundreds and hundreds of people showed up at my house, and we thought it was really cool because it was like, ‘Oh my god, all these people came!’ ” Caillat recalls. The more people piled in though, the more difficult it became to keep the party under control. “Everyone was drinking way too much, and a huge fight broke out. It was just one of those crazy parties,” she says. “Different schools, no one got along. And this one guy jumped on my parents’ pool table and jumped off of it to tackle this other guy, which then they hit into the wall, and there was blood on the wall. And alcohol was spit on our pool table, the front door got broken, stuff got stolen.” The front door wasn’t the only thing that got broken though. “The worst part about it is that my dad’s Grammy was up above our TV, and during the party, it got knocked over and it fell on the ground and broke in half,” Caillat recalls. So, how did Caillat’s father react after he learned his trophy had been split in two? Tune into the premiere of “When I Was 17” to find out. “When I Was 17” — this week featuring Bow Wow, Christopher Mintz-Passe and Colbie Caillat — premieres Saturday at 11 a.m. ET on MTV. Brooke Hogan was on the beach because she’s Florida trash with a trust fund thanks to her dad’s trailer park rise to fame and I guess hanging on the beach is what Florida trash does…I mean when they aren’t wrestling lawn furniture…doing crystal meth…and hanging out in parking lots…when not at Disney World… Her body looks like shit, even with her cheesy girl fake tits, and her face even worse thanks to aging sun damage and I’d say she’s some novelty act that only her parents would love….and in her case…it’s the truth….thanks to incest and inbreeding…the trailer park way…her dad get get enough of her…even when she’s dripping off her chin…if you know what I mean…. My name is Sarah. I was born March 29, 1996 and I’m 15…

My name is Sarah. I was born March 29, 1996 and I’m 15 years old. When I was 2, I was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Not many people have heard about it and sometimes it makes me feel different from all the other kids I knew. Last year, my parents sent me to a treatment center connected with my school and said it was for kids who have matured and I will be there for the rest of the school year. Turns out, it was a treatment center for kids with bad problems. Some kids tease me and send death threats to me. Even though the school year already ended, I’m still there and I’m staying there maybe until January. I really felt like I was going to die and my life was over. I was madly in love with Justin Bieber and that was one of the things the kids teased me about. Even the staff teased me about it. They would call me “Sarah Bieber” or “Rosenbieber.” I felt miserable there. Some kids even drew on my Justin posters that I could not replace. Then one day I was doing art group there and a staff member told me that Justin Bieber was coming to Los Angeles that weekend for a book signing and I could go to it I my parents. I was thrilled. I called my parents right away to tell them. They told me I had school that day and they couldn’t take me to get the tickets. I had totally forgot about that, I was in my school’s Halloween fashion show that day and couldn’t miss out. Boy, I was surprised the next day when my mom came into my classroom and told me she got tickets to the signing for me, my cousin, and two friends to go and meet Justin Bieber! My mom had got up at 4:00 in the morning to go to The Grove and wait in line with a bunch of teenage girls and their moms to get the tickets. The tickets were $50.00 person and she also got one for herself cause all of us were under 18, so my mom spent over $100.00 so I can meet my dream man. At the signing, Justin was very nice. I waited 3 hours! I usually can’t stand waiting so long, but this was worth it. The best part was he put his arm around me! I was speechless the whole time! I even wrote a couple songs about it. I wrote a song called, “If This Was a Movie” about the day I met Justin. I will never forget the day that I actually felt special even though I had autism. Justin taught me to never give up on my dreams. My dream is to be a successful singer or actress. Because of Justin, I will never give up on that dreams. I hope he hasn’t forgotten about me! The picture I have of us together is on Twitter and Facebook! Every time I feel like a loser or I’m about to give up on something, I just look at the picture of us and remember what he has taught me. Someday I will achieve my dreams. I will never say never! Read more: My name is Sarah. I was born March 29, 1996 and I’m 15…
